50 Cent Gets Brutally Honest About Why He Rarely Drops New Music

50 Cent has certainly managed to make a name for himself in the world of hip-hop, but nowadays, the mogul tends to focus on his other endeavors more than he does music. During a recent interview with Earn Your Leisure at Invest Fest, he explained exactly why that is. According to him, he’d have to channel his inner “st*pidity” to write music that fits in with the rest of what’s coming out these days.

Since he believes this is the case, he’s opted to spend more of his time on film production, which he thinks he could make a greater difference with. “If you listen to the music that’s out right now, I have to tap into my st*pid,” he began. “I have to tap into the st*pid side of me to write the right thing when it comes time to write the music.”

“This why I haven’t created as much content as I was creating in the past and I started going towards the film production and development of these projects,” 50 Cent continued. “Because I can impact things in a bigger way through that.” While music may not be Fif’s main focus these days, he did tease a musical comeback late last year. He told Evropa 2 in November that he planned to drop a new album after wrapping up his “Final Lap” tour.

At the time, he even compared his life after the tour to Eminem’s. “When I’m not moving around and I’m not touring and doing things, it’s going to permit me to focus on creating music,” he said. “You’ll get a little more of what you get from Dr. Dre and Eminem from me at that point.” What do you think of 50 Cent’s explanation for shifting his focus from music to other endeavors in recent years? 50 Cent Clowns Tony Yayo For Publicly Discussing Diddy Feud

It’s no secret that 50 Cent isn’t a fan of Diddy, but according to him, that doesn’t mean he wants other people publicly discussing their beef. Earlier this week, the G-Unit mogul took to Instagram to share a video montage of Tony Yayo talking about his longstanding feud with Diddy. In the clips, he makes it clear that Fif never got along with Diddy, meaning that he and his associates had “always been hated” in the industry.

“I never been to a P Diddy party or JAY-Z brunch,” he explained in one clip. “I know it’s cool to be down with Diddy and JAY-Z. We was down with 50, [he] had beef with everybody.” 50 Cent took the opportunity to jokingly remind himself not to share his business with Yayo if he didn’t want it shared with the world.

“Note to self don’t tell Yayo nothing you don’t want everybody to know,” he captioned his post. Luckily, it doesn’t look like he’s too upset about Yayo talking about him, though the same can’t be said for everyone. Last month, for example, Yayo sat down with VladTV for an interview and was asked about 50 Cent getting shot. Instead of answering the question, Yayo shut DJ Vlad down and urged him to stop asking questions about 50 Cent. At the time, he also told Vlad that his collaborator doesn’t like him simply because he talks about him far too much.

R Kelly’s Daughter Breaks Down Over Devastating Allegations In New Doc Trailer

R Kelly is currently behind bars for alleged racketeering, trafficking, sexual abuse of minors, and more. Now, it looks like the disgraced R&B star could be facing even more disturbing allegations. In a trailer for an upcoming doc, exclusively shared by The Jasmine Brand earlier today, several of his family members discuss his alleged crimes and how they’ve impacted them.

His ex-wife Drea Kelly, for example, gets tearful about what he’s allegedly done to their children. She questions why he had to allegedly harm their little ones after already allegedly harming her. His daughter Joanne also gets incredibly emotional about what he’s allegedly put her and the rest of their family through. They do not specify exactly what they’re accusing him of in the trailer. The documentary, which was executive produced by Mann Robinson, is scheduled to come out on October 11. “He knows exactly why we can’t have the relationship that we would have liked with him,” Joanne explains in the trailer.

“He was my everything,” she continues at a different point in the trailer. “For a long time, I didn’t even want to believe that it happened. I didn’t know that even if he was a bad person that he would do something to me. I really feel like that one millisecond completely just changed my whole life.”

She goes on to explain how she plans on being as honest as possible with her son about his grandfather. Despite this, she says she will not be taking her son to visit him in prison. Lecrae Apologizes To J Cole For Drunken First Encounter

During a recent appearance on the New Rory and Mal podcast, Lecrae recalled his first time ever meeting J Cole. According to him, they had run into each other at a Super Bowl party, where he had a few too many drinks. Unfortunately, he says this resulted in an encounter so awkward that he woke up the next morning with serious regrets.

“I see Cole, I go up to Cole and I’m like, ‘Yo, what’s up, man?’ And he’s like, ‘What’s going on, bro?” he recalled. “I said, ‘Let me ask you a question, man. You believe in God?’ He was like, ‘Yeah.’ I said, ‘Word? So you go to church?’ He said, ‘I grew up in church but I really wouldn’t say that [I’m a Christian].’”

Lecrae Tried To Tell J Cole About Jesus While Drunk

From there, Lecrae decided that he needed to give J Cole his number so he could spread the word. “You need to call me, bro. Let’s talk!” he said. “It gets worse. [He was like] ‘Alright, put your number in my phone.’ So I put my number in his phone, but I didn’t type my name and then I gave him his phone back, and he walks away.” Lecrae then realized his mistake and stopped J Cole in his tracks. “I said, ‘Wait a minute! I ain’t even tell you my name, bro.’ He said, ‘I know who you are.’ I was like, ‘Oh!’ and I walked the walk of shame.”

Ultimately, Lecrae woke up the next day embarrassed by his behavior. “The next morning I was like, ‘Oh my God! What did I do?! What did I say?!’ So Cole, if you watching this, I apologize for the way I approached you,” he concluded. Wu-Tang Clan Hints At New Album Potentially Dropping In 2025

The Wu-Tang Clan is set to bring their Las Vegas residency back this weekend with two shows at the Theater at Virgin Hotels. During a recent chat with TMZ, Cappadonna, Ghostface Killah, and Inspectah Deck revealed which song is their favorite to perform together. They all agreed on “Triumph,” though Ghostface Killah noted that they all serve their own purposes.

They were then asked about their plans for next year, prompting them to tease a potential new album. According to Ghostface Killah, they intend on dropping something together “soon.” He says that fans need to be patient, however, as they all have busy schedules they’ll need to work around in order to get it done.

“It’s gonna be easy, ’cause this is what we do,” he explained. “The music, the soul, everything… Hip hop never left us.” These hints arrive after the drama surrounding the group’s one-of-one album, Once Upon A Time In Shaolin. It was previously sold to Martin Shkreli, who was its sole owner until 2021 when he was arrested for alleged security fraud. The U.S. government confiscated it, and eventually, digital art company PleasrDAO bought it. It was later released in fragments as NFTs, a decision controversial among both fans and group members.

During an interview with Vanity Fair in July, for example, Method Man opened up about some of the issues he had with the project. According to him, most of the Wu-Tang Clan was not let in on the rollout plans. “I thought it was some circus spectacle,” he told the outlet at the time. “I never really spoke to RZA about it. DJ Akademiks Reacts To Drake’s Tour Numbers Beating Kendrick Lamar’s

Recently, a list of the top ten highest-grossing rap tours surfaced on Reddit. According to the list, Drake’s “It’s All A Blur” tour comes out on top with $320.5 million. Kendrick Lamar’s “Big Steppers” tour is next on the list at $110.9 million. They’re followed by 50 Cent’s “Final Lap” tour, the “Aubrey & the Three Migos” tour, Travis Scott’s “Circus Maximus” tour, and more.

DJ Akademiks decided to react to the list on stream recently, predicting that Travis Scott’s tour will eventually take over Kendrick’s position on the list. According to him, Drake’s higher ticket prices also explain the large difference in his and Kendrick’s gross earnings. “That’s all this means, Drake’s just charging an exorbitant amount of money,” he said.

Ak also suggested that more current tours made the list due to inflation, and the fact that people are paying more and more to see live music. While these numbers don’t necessarily come as a surprise, they serve as a reminder of Drake’s massive commercial success. They also bring up some ongoing rumors that Live Nation has forced a rigorous touring schedule on Drake. Alleged text messages between him and his ex Jhonni Blaze leaked online earlier this week amid a spat with her former friend Ghetto Barbie. “Right now my life is on slave to live nation mode,” he allegedly wrote in one of the texts. This was seemingly followed by a laughing emoji, indicating that it could have been nothing more than a joke. It appears to support the rumors either way, however, and might potentially explain his impressive tour earnings.

Of course, the unfounded rumor spread like wildfire. It even prompted big reactions from the likes of 50 Cent, Charlamagne Tha God, Andrew Shulz, and more. According to VelJohnson, however, there’s absolutely zero truth to the story.

Recently, TMZ Hip Hop spotted him leaving Dancing with the Stars rehearsals in LA. They took the opportunity to ask him to weigh in on the rumor. He didn’t mince words, making it clear that he’s not a fan of the salacious headlines featuring his name. “That’s all bullsh*t,” he explained. “I don’t know that man, never met him before. I wish him well though.” As for what he had to say to those spreading the rumors, he told them all to “get a life.”

After her video went viral, she hopped online to reveal that she’d been fired from her job at Waffle House, where she filmed the challenge. She got emotional, explaining that she’d been let go within a day of posting the video, despite working there for six years.

“I’m so pissed,” she captioned the post. “Like yall don’t understand the bullsh*t i done through with this company to fire me over a video that was literally rooting on them. bs. straight bs.” While this surely put a serious damper on the fan’s day, Latto was quick to cheer her up.

The fan later posted a second part of her video, which features the Atlanta rapper herself. In it, she hands the fan $10K, crowning her the winner of the challenge. Latto first started the challenge in response to social media users believing she was making fun of hard working people with her track. She asked supporters to make videos to the song at their jobs, noting that this wasn’t the case.

He’s back in the United States now, and unfortunately, it hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing. Recently, for example, 6ix9ine found himself at the center of a heated confrontation outside a Miami nightclub. In a clip shared by TMZ, he’s seen being held back by his entourage as he’s approached multiple times. Eventually, things moved to the street before he was ushered back to his car.

At the time of writing, it remains unclear exactly what prompted the incident. The outlet reports that according to onlookers, he had been inside partying with various women when some men allegedly tried to pick a fight. Luckily, it appears as though nobody was seriously injured, and Miami police told TMZ there were no arrests made.
