Chris Brown was questioned by London police following a nightclub brawl in February after he performed at the O2 Arena. An unidentified man was hospitalized in February after a bottle hit him on the head and was kicked, prompting the police investigation. Chris Brown Questioned By Cops The “Look At Me Now” artist was questioned […]
Whether you hate to admit it or not, Chris Brown is one of the greatest performers we have ever seen. Just like there is always a conversation of who’s the greatest basketball player, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, or LeBron James? Or who’s the best rapper in this generation; Drake, Kendrick Lamar, or J.Cole? For R&B, the conversation is always Michael Jackson, Usher Raymond, and then Chris Brown.
Last year, at Usher’s Las Vegas residency, he brought out Chris Brown to perform, in which he called his co-collaborator for “New Flame”, a “legend”. Usher is right, Breezy is a legend. He proves he can do it all as a singer, dancer, rapper, and actor. You’re bound to get a bit of everything when you see him in concert.
Chris Brown has too many great performances to count. Whether it be on tour, the Grammys, or the BET Awards, Breezy has always left it all on the stage. Let’s take a look at the seven best performances from Chris Brown throughout his career.
7. Chris Brown sings “All Black” at 2011 American Music Awards
Although they rescinded their invitation for him to perform there in 2022, Brown hit the AMAs stage in 2011. In a performance where he solely displayed his vocal abilities, Breezy put his heart in it when he sang “All Back”. The slow ballad turned into the uptempo song, “Say It With Me”, where he put his moves on display, per usual.
6. Chris Brown Performs Hits at 2014 Soul Train Music Awards
Chris Brown’s ability to sing while dancing is what separates him from other artists. Most singers often lip sync their lyrics while performing their moves, but not Breezy. In this performance, he started off with his hit song “Yo”, where you can clearly hear his voice over the music. He transitions to his hits like “Poppin”, “Take You Down”, and “New Flame”.
As the camera points to the crowd, you can see fellow artists enjoy the song, including Tank. The R&B crooner caught himself trying to move like the Virginia artist at one point. To wrap up this set, Breezy performed his hit, “Loyal”, which got some people off their feet. Even nearing the end of his set, he still sounds good while dancing like his set just started. It’s safe to say the man is in shape.
5. Breezy Gets Intimate at 2011 Summer Jam
Chris Brown gets intimate with his fans at the 2011 Summer Jam as he starts off with “Wet the Bed”. He continues the theme by performing his slow jam, “Take You Down”. The “No Guidance” singer has always been about his fans and is known to bring women on stage. Of course, he did it at Summer Jam, too.
The woman on stage was subject to Breezy dancing and caressing her as she sat in a chair. She even experienced a few intense thrust at one point as women all throughout the stadium went crazy longing to be her.
You can see Chris put his all into this performance nearly falling to his knees as he belted out “Take You Down”.
4. 2016 iHeartRadio Awards
In a set that shows all different sides of Breezy, iHeart fans were blessed in a set that was less than 10 minutes. He starts with “Liquor” with his background dancers, but transitions to “Back to Sleep” by himself. Brown is singing to a woman on stage before jumping into “Wrist”-literally.
As he raps “Wrist”, he dances along with his background dancers, but somehow he always manages to out do them. His style is second to none. Chris and his crew break out into his pop hit song, “Yeah 3x”. Not too many artists can give you hits across different genres like Brown. And to top it all off, his clothing company, Black Pyramid, received a bit of promo during the set.
An-all around great performance by Breezy yet again.
3. Chris Brown performs in Timbs at the 2007 Grammys
Gliding down the stairs while coming out in a mask, Breezy started his performance with a step show before going in to his debut hit “Run It”. Dancing in Timberland Boots is something we haven’t seen before and Chris makes it look easy.
Just like his MTV Awards performance that year, the “New Flame” singer performed alongside two kids that might be the future Breezy. From backflips to handstands, he received a standing ovation. And to think, he did it all on a sprained ankle and in TIMBS! This could be considered his greatest performance based on the circumstances alone.
2. 2007 MTV Awards
Breezy’s first time performing at the MTV Video Music Awards was in 2007. He started it theatrically, as he acted if he was trapped in a booth. Two kids came to free him and he started dancing alongside them. As the two kids leave, his dance crew forms behind him as Breezy makes some stunning moves.
As “Wall to Wall” begins, Brown jumps from the stage to another platform and the show starts. With this being his first performance on this stage, it’s no secret that he was going to be lip syncing. As “Wall to Wall” ends, Rihanna comes out to her hit song, “Umbrella”. After a few moments, she approaches Chris and they dance together, shortly, before going their separate ways. This is one of the first interactions we see of the two young superstars.
Breezy starts his Michael Jackson impression as his DJ plays “Billie Jean” in the background. Moments like these are the reasons people say he is the second coming of MJ. He maneuvers just like Michael did when he was on stage for a few seconds before going into his hit “Kiss Kiss”. With the “Run It” artist jumping from platform to platform, moving like Michael, and dancing with Rihanna, there’s no way the crowd wasn’t entertained.
1. 2006 World Music Awards Michael Jackson Tribute
Breezy did a tribute to the King of Pop at the 2006 World Music Awards. As soon as the light hit him, the audience started cheering and did not stop. Chris comes out in the same red “Thriller” jacket Michael had on in the original video moving like MJ himself. He re-creates the video on stage following a young woman serenading her while dancing.
Of course, Chris Brown and his crew perform the iconic dance scene that’s in the “Thriller“ music video, to which the crowd couldn’t get enough of. You bet he received a standing ovation that night and he was only 16 years old!

Chris Brown faced fired again this week over a video of him walking with a limp circulated online. Specifically, disability activist Brett Leverton took to Twitter to call out the singer for “imitating/mocking people with physical impairments/disabilities.” Brown, who is currently performing with his Under the Influence Tour, struts in the video walking unnaturally. While there is no certainty as to what could have caused the 33-year-old’s change in steps, Leverton remains convinced that it was an act of disability discrimination.
On Twitter, the critic explained his perspective, asserting that Brown’s behavior is not ok. “Chris Brown has 113 million followers just on Instagram alone that can now potentially be influenced and think that behaviour is ok when it’s not,” he tweeted. Leverton went so far as to reference a post made by Brown a few weeks ago, writing, “the same person took to Instagram to claim he was treated differently by the media because he is a person of colour.” The thread also mentions, “in the modern world, where discrimination is tolerated less and less. Why would someone who knows firsthand what it feels like to face discrimination go and do the same behaviour to another minority group?”
Brown “Imitates” Disabled People, Leverton Claims
Fans of Brown were not having it with Leverton’s allegations and clapped back in favor of the “Run it!” singer. One user wrote, “you just made this inherently racist post and see nothing wrong with it hmmmmm,” while another called out Leverton for seeking attention. “Oh so this is what you after!!! Clout!!! I get it, it’s not about disable people it’s about tagging blogs and paparazzi sites,” the user wrote. Others noted how Brown has supported Best Buddies International, a non-profit dedicated to supporting people with intellectual and physical disabilities.
It looks like Breezy’s followers are coming to his defense, and you can see more reactions below. Brown also recently received criticism for allegations of discriminating against Black women in his VIP section, which he quickly dismissed after showing off receipts. Currently, the singer is continuing on his tour, with his next show in Brussels tonight (March 3). As always, check out HNHH for the latest in hip hop and pop culture.
There was a time when fans gave all of their focus to artists at live shows, and Chris Brown demands that sort of attention. Concerts were filled with dancing, singing at the top of your lungs, and grabbing a quick photo or two. These days, shows are flooded with attendees who spend most of their time on their phones. It’s easy to find videos of audiences with thousands of cellphone lights in the air, recording their favorite moments. However, a recent performance by Chris Brown took a turn.
Breezy has dealt with a lot in the past few weeks. The singer has been flooded with one controversy after another, whether it be Tommie Lee or his collaboration with Chlöe. On Thursday (March 2), a video surfaced of Brown giving the performance of his life to a fan who was chosen to take to the stage. Many artists use this method to give their supporters personal interactions. A woman sat in a chair in the middle of the scene as Brown and his dancers delivered a sexy number.
Chris Brown Throws Phone In Frustration
Viewers quickly noted the clip was a tad awkward. The woman seemed both excited and disinterested, as she was focused on her phone more than Breezy. He was giving his best Magic Mike moves, belting out notes, and even attempted a lapdance, but the fan still held tight to her mobile. People speculated that she was simply trying to record the ordeal, but the display seemingly frustrated Brown. He grabbed the woman’s phone at the end of the segment and chucked it into the audience.
The lights cut to black, and what occurred after the incident was unclear. As expected, the video circulated on social media, even prompting a reaction from the hitmaker. On his Instagram Story, the singer shared a video from another fan in the audience who recorded the uncomfortable moment. “F*ck dat phone [sideways crying laughing emoji],” was written over the image.
Fan Get Phone Back
It looked like that phone was gone for good, but Breezy gave an update. “Shawty got her phone back too.. [crying laughing emoji],” Brown wrote in a separate slide. The woman hasn’t been identified, but internet sleuths are hard at work. Check it out above.
Things recently got a little heated between Chris Brown and an unknown man. The singer has been overseas, taking from one stage to the next as he entertains hoards of fans. The responses have been overwhelmingly positive, and it looked like Brown was having the time of his life. However, a brief clip of the singer appeared online, and it seemed he was arguing with someone at a nightclub.
A clip showed Brown at the club with his entourage. It is unclear how the confrontation began, but Breezy yelled at the man as his team attempted to calm him down. The singer’s target can’t be seen, at least not from the front. Only the back of the person’s head floats through the video, and while it was a brief interaction, Brown dropped off a message.
Chris Brown Was Ready To Meet The Man Outside
Whatever occurred, it got Brown fired up. Not only inside the club, but on the internet with a bit of Thumb Thuggin’. “You know you tucked your tail,” he wrote. Apparently, Brown was ready to continue the confrontation away from the loud music and adoring fans. “You was scared to come outside. You would’ve been doing TIK TOKs from a hospital bed. Weird ass n*gga.”
This has been quite a season for Brown, as he’s defended himself against critics. He recently unleashed on Instagram after his collaboration with Chlöe received pushback. People brought up his domestic violence past, and Brown questioned why they were concerned with something he did as a teen. He didn’t excuse the behavior but was frustrated with people who refused to see his growth. However, his detractors were unmoved.
Overseas Has Been A Whirlwind
The singer’s name was also brought up during Tommie Lee’s debacle that unraveled on social media. She was reportedly backstage at Brown’s London concert when she was said to have seen his son, Aeko. Ammika Harris, Aeko’s mother, allegedly closed the door in Lee’s face to protect her child. According to Natalie Nunn, Lee became angry and tried to break the door down. Lee denied the allegations while on Livestream while insulting Brown, Harris, and Aeko. After receiving backlash, she returned with repeated apologies. Check out the video of Chris Brown above.
It seems Chris Brown can’t do anything on social media without it becoming a trending topic. The same can be said for the latest headline after Breezy liked a couple of posts on Instagram recently. One that particularly stood out was his like on ex Karrueche Tran’s page. The former lovers have sparked conversation lately after their names were mentioned amidst the release of Brown and Chloe Bailey’s single, “How Does It Feel.” Fans of Beyoncé’s protege were disappointed she’d chosen to do a song with the R&B superstar. This led to a look back at his troubled relationships, with mentions of the restraining order Tran had against him from 2017.
The post in question shows Karrueche announcing her new role on season two of Peacock’s popular Bel-Air dramedy. Chris Brown hearted the post, which was soon noticed by the actress’ followers. “Looks like Chris Brown still isn’t over you,” writes one commenter. “None of his baby mamas compare to his OG girl that he fell in love with.” Another shared the sentiment, referencing Brown’s “Back to Sleep” remix where he calls Karrueche out by name. Others were in support of the like and bothered by its virality altogether. “He can’t just like a pic? Please don’t reach with this one,” a fan urges. Someone also noted she unblocked him, assuming she “clearly wanted his attention.” Because of all the fanfare, the 33-year-old has since deleted his like.
Chris Brown Shows Support Of Karrueche’s New Role
Though both Chris and Karrueche have since moved on, it hasn’t kept people from mentioning their failed union. Brown called out former 3LW member Kiely Williams a couple weeks back after she brought up his abuse allegations against the model and Rihanna. “Let him come out with his own record—so genius, so captivating that it makes us all forget HE BEATS WOMEN,” Williams tweeted in response to his “How Does It Feel” announcement. “He can’t so he won’t.” Breezy then went on to post a meme poking fun at the singer’s lisp and more. “Obviously you are at a point in your life where either you are very broke or broken,” he fired back. “THE FACT you think you have to speak negatively about me makes u look so lame.”
Karrueche Tran has yet to respond to the like or any additional commentary made about their past. She’s seemingly unbothered by it all, as she’s been caught hanging back out with Quavo in the past year. The two—who dated briefly in 2017–were seen vacationing together in St. Martin at the top of 2022. Though she’s denied they’ve reignited old flames, Tran went to Jamaica with the former Migos member two months later.
Nearly two weeks ago, Chlöe surprised fans by announcing her collaboration with Chris Brown. It seemed like a perfect fit for the two hitmakers, and many were excited about their then-upcoming single, “How Does It Feel.” The singers posed together in the track’s teaser, but Chlöe and Chris were inundated with mentions after the image circulated. People brought up Brown’s violent past in relationships, specifically the Rihanna scandal and Karrueche’s Tran’s restraining order. The conversations last for days, prompting Brown to come forward with a scathing response.
However, missing from the conversation was Chlöe. Amid the chaos, she and Brown emerged with encouraging words for one another, but she didn’t directly address the drama. However, while on the red carpet for Creed III, Chlöe was questioned about her thoughts on the pushback. According to her, she hopes fans will steer focus.
Chlöe Is All About The Music
“It feels great,” she said about making the premiere. “I literally ran straight from the shoot. I was like, praying to God I didn’t miss the carpet and God is good. Here I am.” Chlöe added she was proud of Michael B. Jordan’s directorial debut. “I just love to see us win.” It was a sentiment that several attendees held about the award-winning actor’s latest effort. Then, the singer was questioned about Brown.
“I just want the music and art to speak for itself,” said Chlöe. “I’m excited for In Pieces, dropping March 31, and I have very exciting news dropping tomorrow. So, I can’t wait to let my fans know.” As she was wrapping up the red carpet interview, Jordan made a surprise appearance and took a moment to celebrate with his friend. The two even posed for silly pictures with Creed III star Jonathan Majors photobombing in the background.
Chlöe Praises Venus & Serena Williams
The singer also fangirled about being close to Serena Williams on the red carpet. “While I was waiting for the carpet, I was right next to Serena,” Chlöe shared. “And, you know, her and Venus have always inspired me and my sister. It was like another good boost of excitement and encouragement to keep going.” Check it all out above.
At early February’s Grammy awards, R&B icon Robert Glasper took home the award for best R&B album. His Black Radio III project includes stellar features guests like Common and Erykah Badu. Additionally, it beat out albums from Mary J. Blige and Lucky Daye. However, one of his R&B peers was not too thrilled with this result. Chris Brown, who was also nominated in the category, had some choice words for Glasper. “Y’all playing. Who da f–k is this?” he wrote on Instagram. “Who the f–k is Robert Glasper? I’ma keep kicking y’all a– respectfully.”
After receiving backlash for this, though, Breezy texted Glasper an apology: “I would like to apologize if you took offense to my reaction at the Grammys. You were not the intended target and I know I came off really rude and mean,” he texted. But, Glasper still used the incident to his advantage. Selling t-shirts with “Who the f–k is Robert Glasper?” printed on it, Glasper raised donations for a New Orleans music education non-profit. However, even though it seems both Brown and Glasper have since moved on from the debacle, fellow R&B star Thundercat has not.
Thundercat Takes A Shot Of His Own
On Tuesday (Feb. 28), beloved guitarist/vocalist Thundercat posted to Instagram a group of photos from a recent outing. Shown hanging out with Drake, Robert Glasper and Dave Chappelle, Thundercat used the opportunity to jab at Breezy. “‘Who the fuck is Robert Glasper?’…lol.” Thundercat captioned the post. It truly means something when Glasper is hanging with superstars like Drake. It makes it even more curious how Chris Brown could not know who he is. Either way, though, Thundercat surely felt it necessary to defend his friend.
The photos Thundercat posted were taken at Bootsy Bellows Club in Los Angeles. It’s not currently clear why Drake, Glasper, and the gang were there, or what day they were. But, Bootsy Bellows also just recently hosted an album release party for Don Toliver. So, it would appear that this particular club is home to many of Hollywood’s most decorated stars. And, in particular, that would include the esteemed Robert Glasper.
Seasoned reality stars Tommie Lee and Natalie Nunn are still making rounds after their explosive, albeit short, fight this past Saturday (Feb. 25). The Zeus Network personalities went head to head in the ring out in London before the main event between Floyd Mayweather and Aaron Chalmers. In a surprising turn, Bad Girls Club’s Natalie took it home shortly into the second round. The women had been bickering for weeks following up to the live boxing match, with promotion for it appearing all over social. Unfortunately, it all came to a head a few days back while at Chris Brown’s Under the Influence tour.
It’s been said they were invited to Brown’s London show on behalf of Natalie Nunn. In an interview with Front Row Fight Series, Tommie claims Natalie revealed Breezy’s past relationship with her was indeed sexual. ”And now she had f**ked his brother to get back at him,” the Baddies West star also noted. Tommie also alleges Natalie is currently in relations with Chris Brown’s security, all while wedded to husband Jacob Payne. “With her being married and s**t like that, I just really think [Jacob] should’ve been there.”
Tommie Lee Calls Out Natalie Nunn For Relations With Chris Brown And His Team
Things went all but right when the Zeus cast entered the premises. According to West rapper Rollie Pollie, Tommie Lee saw Breezy’s three-year-old son Aeko backstage and allegedly tried to break into the room he sat in with his mother, Ammika Harris. Tommie went live on Instagram after the incident to explain her side of the story, stating the door was slammed in her face when she commented on the toddler’s cuteness. Theformer Love & Hip Hop cast member went on to tell Ammika “I don’t care about your baby. F*ck your baby. And f*ck his daddy, too.”
Tommie Lee has since apologized for her loose lips, though many remain unfazed knowing her volatile history. “I didn’t mean that ’bout the baby,” she states, adding that’s not her typical character. “I was really, really hot tryin’ to make a point.” This all led to Saturday’s fight, which many believed Tommie would win. That was not the case, however, as Lee appeared intoxicated and at one point fell out during her and Natalie’s squabble.
