Chloe Bailey Net Worth 2023: What Is The Singer Worth?

Chloe Bailey, half of the powerhouse sibling duo Chloe x Halle, hails from Atlanta, Georgia. Born to entertain, she bravely moved to Los Angeles at just 13, accompanied by her younger sister Halle. Her spirit, as fiery as a phoenix and a drive fueled by a love for music, pushed her passions. Chloe embarked on her journey with nothing but her raw talent and a solid support system.

Guided by an insatiable curiosity for the craft, her unpolished diamond-like talent gradually underwent the high pressure and heat of the entertainment industry. The result? A glittering gem whose net worth today dances around the $2 million mark, according to CelebrityNetWorth.

Chloe’s foray into the world of television brought an unexpected twist to her growing career. With the ink still wet on her agreement with Disney, she soon found herself on the set of Grown-ish, a spin-off of the popular series Black-ish. As Jazz Forster, she encapsulated the spirit of a young, ambitious woman — a role not too distant from her own reality. The success of Grown-ish played its part in propelling Chloe’s net worth to new heights.

Yet, it was the debut of their first studio album, The Kids Are Alright, that solidified the sister act as a fixture in the music industry. The album, radiating their vocal prowess, garnered a Grammy nomination — an impressive milestone on their burgeoning success trail. In March 2023, under her new moniker “Chlöe,” the singer released her debut solo album, In Pieces, to critical acclaim. Her entrance as a music act away from her sister significantly helped her gain fame and grow her net worth.

While most might think the celebrity life equates to a fortress of solitude, Chloe defies such expectations. It is a collection of human moments. Her unflinching bravery and determination to maintain authenticity only add to her appeal, cementing her status as an artist to watch and a role model to admire.

Besides her TV and music careers, she’s been savvy with brand partnerships, becoming the face of renowned brands like Fendi and Nike. Further, her entrepreneurial pursuits don’t overshadow her philanthropic heart. From performing at charity events to partnering with organizations championing causes close to her heart, Chloe is more than an entertainer — she’s a socially conscious citizen. She isn’t just building her financial capital but social capital as well.

Chloe Bailey Honors Tina Turner On Juneteenth

Chloe Bailey of Chloe x Halle fame was one of the artists who graced the stage on Monday for CNN’s Juneteenth Celebration. During her set, she paid tribute to one of the legends we lost recently, Tina Turner. Chloe performed a stunning rendition of “What’s Love Got To Do With It” and the fans erupted into supportive cheering. “Rest in power to the great Tina Turner,” Chloe said with arms outstretched. “This one’s for you. I love you.”

The 24-year-old singer-songwriter was performing without her sister and duo counterpart, Halle Bailey, who is no doubt still doing plenty of press for her The Little Mermaid remake. While Halle plays Ariel, Chloe Bailey channeled her inner Turner with a red-and-gold dress with long fringes on the arms. And despite not being an exact replica of the late great singer — many fans picked up on too much vibrato from Bailey, even asking for Kelly Rowland to do the tribute instead — she still rocked the stage at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles.

Chloe Bailey — And More — Pay Respect To A Queen

CNN’s “Juneteenth: A Global Celebration for Freedom” was a major platform to show the world how much the music industry loved Tina Turner. Not only did Chloe Bailey headline the tribute, but Vice President Kamala Harris also spoke at the event, talking about the “ongoing fight” for freedom. Other musical artists who performed included Miguel, Nelly, Charlie Wilson, Kirk Franklin, and Mike Phillips. Questlove and Adam Blackstone were the musical directors behind the show. Chloe Bailey and Nelly performed “Dilemma” together as well.

Chloe Bailey is just one of many musicians devastated by the loss of a generational talent. Tina Turner passed away in late May at the age of 83. Her contributions to the music world will never be forgotten. This show is a testament to that. For Chloe, this was a chance to showcase her vocal range. Taking on one of the greatest’s songs is difficult as it is. However, she provided the same confidence Tina would have had, making this Juneteenth celebration one for the record books.

Best Chloe x Halle Live Performances, Ranked

Witnessing the meteoric rise of Chloe x Halle has been an awe-inspiring blessing. After dropping their highly lauded second album Ungodly Hour, the Parkwood Entertainment protégés have delighted fans by releasing new choreography and immersive performances supporting each single over the past years. Exquisitely tailored outfits and artful staging typically accompany each performance.

Chloe x Halle have carved out a name for themselves since being discovered on YouTube. They’ve joined Beyoncé’s team and graced several prestigious stages, including the Super Bowl and the Grammy Awards. As the sisters continue to make waves in the music industry, their talent and star power continue to blossom. As a result, they’re destined for greatness. In honor of their extraordinary journey thus far, we’ve rounded up must-see Chloe Halle live performances.

8. “ROYL” — Global Goal: Unite For Our Future Performance

Chloe x Halle rarely falter, yet in their first live performance of the Ungodly Hour closer “ROYL” they encountered difficulty. Consequently, the technical aspect of the stage design undermined their effort with disorienting camera swings and pulsating lights. Striving for a rockstar aura, their energy was palpable though overzealous. With Halle maneuvering an electric guitar and Chloe arranging her body theatrically on the floor. Yet, despite this turbulent choreography, their vocals remained exquisite – a saving grace to the whole spectacle.

7. “Tipsy”

Chloe x Halle’s live rendition of “Tipsy” was a classic example of their signature style. With Chloe at the microphone and Halle strumming her guitar by a standing mic, it undoubtedly possessed high levels of stylishness. Yet, it lacked a certain degree of originality since it closely mimicked the original track. While it was still enjoyable, the performance might have been enhanced if they had taken more risks to further distinguish it from the original.

6. “Do It” — GLAAD Awards

Chloe x Halle took their 2020 live performances to the next level when they performed at the GLAAD Awards, joined by Naomi Smalls, Mayhem Miller, and Miss Vanjie in an electrifying tribute to the Spice Girls. In addition to the sisters’ own dazzling display of talent, these drag superstars provided an exciting new dynamic that brought even more energy to the show. Styled like the iconic pop group, each queen embodied a distinct character as they danced and sang along. Chloe x Halle and their special guests illuminated the stage with vibrant flair and an infectious sense of joy.

5.  “Busy Boy,” “Forgive Me,” & “Do It” — U.S. Open

Chloe x Halle continued to wow audiences worldwide with their skillful combination of honey-laden vocals and expertly executed choreography in their US Open performance. Additionally, in a nod to their creative branding prowess, the talented sisters were asked to provide entertainment at this premier tennis tournament. Halle truly shined as she fearlessly embraced the challenging routines while Chloe effortlessly belted out her signature soulful melodies. Together they left viewers mesmerized with their dynamic show of artistry.

4.  “Do It” — VMAs

Undeniably, “Do It” is a mainstay in their lively performances. Despite performing Ungodly Hour’s hit single countless times, Chloe x Halle pulled off an unforgettable rendition of the song at the 2020 VMA Awards. Coupled with dynamic dancing, the sophisticated staging illuminated their silver bodysuits, bringing the performance to life. Flashy strobe lights added to the vibrant atmosphere, making it a show that will never be forgotten.

3. “Baby Girl” — Billboard Women In Music

The spellbinding performance by Chloe x Halle stirred public attention for its aesthetic artistry and striking cinematography. Flaunting a refreshing departure from their signature Ungodly Hour styling, featuring futuristic and grunge-inspired elements, the sisters embraced a softer side in pastel purple dresses and radiant make-up. The dreamlike set and costume design further elevated their impressive vocal runs, riffs, and harmonies. Combined, this synching of artful visuals and music created an enchanting experience of color and wonder, making it one of the most exhilarating Chloe x Halle live performances.

2.  “Forgive Me,” “Do It,” “Busy Boy,” & “Ungodly Hour” — Triller’s Rock The Vote

Chloe x Halle used their Global Goal performance to showcase their talent and flare. Donning signature leather ensembles and temporary tattoos, the duo radiated intensity and excitement with their Triller performance. They were accompanied by a live band, receiving little comparison to any other live presentation they had done thus far. Their performance was like none other, leaving an indelible mark on all who viewed it.

1.  “Forgive Me”

Chloe x Halle’s characteristic vocal texture marks their captivating performance of “Forgive Me.” This subdued yet fervent rendition unveils a new side of the duo as they channel raw emotion and grit while singing into the camera with unwavering intensity. Clad in ebony-hued gowns embellished with silver studs, their alluring aura exudes a rock glamour that has become synonymous with their stage presence. Chloe x Halle continue to transcend expectations with each performance – no two shows are ever quite alike.

Chlöe Brought Out Halle Bailey On Her ‘In Pieces Tour’ For A Performance Of Songs From Their Album ‘Ungodly Hour’

Chlöe is celebrating the recent release of her debut solo album In Pieces with an exciting tour. It kicked off earlier this month in Chicago, where she didn’t hesitate to confront critics: “F*ck what the f*ck anybody wanna f*ckin’ say,” she said onstage.

In Atlanta on Sunday night (April 23), the audience was in for a special treat. To spice up her performance, the “How Does It Feel” singer brought out her sister and fellow Chloe X Halle member Halle Bailey, who’s been in the spotlight as well for her role in The Little Mermaid. The Bailey siblings performed their 2020 songs “Ungodly Hour” and “Do It” together, looking happier than ever.

Chlöe shared a grateful post to social media about the “magical” night.

“ATL love yall so much,” she wrote on Instagram. “I got to reunite with my best friend on stage and even have my own national day now (Chloe Day April 22nd) each night on tour has been so magical.”

Just last week, the two reunited on Jimmy Fallon’s That’s My Jam and sang a medley of breakup anthems, including Destiny’s Child’s “Survivor” and Avril Lavigne’s “Complicated.”

Chloe And Halle Face Off in Sing-Off

Chloe and Halle Bailey are both proving that they are just as potent as solo artists as they are as a duo. Chlöe has battled haters and poor record sales to make waves on her debut tour. Meanwhile, Halle is preparing for her breakout film role, as the May 26 release of The Little Mermaid grows closer.

However, the two sisters took time out of their schedules to appear on That’s My Jam, the musical game show spin-off of The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. The show’s concept is very simple – celebrity teams face off in a variety of musical challenges with Jimmy Fallon hosting the proceedings. In its second season, the show’s most recent episode pitted the sisters against one another. Chlöe was paired up with Adam Lambert, while Halle joined forces with actor Simu Liu.

Chloe And Halle Take On Breakup Song Medley

The highlight of the episode for many fans was the “Mixtape Medley Showdown”, contested by the two sisters. In the segment, contestants must compete in a jukebox-esque sing-off within a certain genre or musical theme. The chosen “mixtape” was breakup songs and things were off to the races. Chloe opened proceedings with the Destiny Child’s classic Survivor, which Halle countered with Avril Lavigne’s Complicated. The sisters were clearly in high spirits, but it was evident both wanted to win. Chloe’s second song was Dilemma by Nelly ft. Kelly Rowland, which was followed by Halle taking on Carrie Underwood’s Before He Cheats.

With neither sister giving an inch, Chloe gave a fantastic rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s Go Your Own Way before Halle paid homage to the honorary mayor of Tampa with Taylor Swift’s We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. As things ramped up, Chloe belted out Olivia Rodrigo’s Good 4 You, and Halle closed things out with Since You’ve Been Gone by Kelly Clarkson. In a sweet moment, Chloe joined in to harmonize on the Clarkson banger. Halle and Simu would eventually go on to be named the winners of the episode. However, who do you think won the Mixtape Medley Showdown? Let us know in the comments below.

Chloe X Halle Reunited On ‘That’s My Jam’ To Cover Some Iconic Breakup Anthems

Chlöe is keeping busy, as she’s still hot off the release of her solo debut album, In Pieces, and touring North America in support of the album. Equally busy is her sister, Halle Bailey, who is gearing up for the premiere of The Little Mermaid, in which she plays Ariel. But their tight schedules couldn’t stop them from reuniting last night (April 17) on Jimmy Fallon’s That’s My Jam.

During the episode’s “Mixtape Medley Showdown,” the two sang a musical montage of iconic break-up anthems. Chlöe kicked off the challenge with a smooth cover of Destiny’s Child’s “Survivor,” then, on Halle’s turn, she sang Avril Lavigne’s “Complicated.” The two went back and forth singing covers of songs by Kelly Rowland, Carrie Underwood, Fleetwood Mac, Olivia Rodrigo, and more.

Though the two are proving fruitful in their solo endeavors, nothing can break the bonds of sisterhood. Last month, in a campaign for ZyrTec, Halle said that the two are not finished making music together as Chloe X Halle.

“She’s my biggest supporter. I’m her biggest supporter. We’re just really excited to be able to be doing all of this together and for this all to be happening. I’m so proud of her,” said Halle.

Chlöe Reflected On Touring With Beyoncé Back In 2016 For The ‘Formation World Tour’

Chlöe may have asked her estranged lover “How Does It Feel” to lose out on her love in the single. But actress and television host Drew Barrymore is turning the question back on her regarding a very special lady in her life. While out promoting her debut solo album, In Pieces, the singer stopped by Barrymore’s namesake talk show.

With the “Body Do” singer currently on tour, Barrymore wanted to take a trip down memory lane when Chlöe and her sister, Halle Bailey, were featured as guest openers for their mentor Beyoncé’s Euporean leg of the Formation World Tour in 2016.

“Oh my God! I’m so excited,” declared the host as she held hands with the singer. Barrymore went on to talk about first becoming a fan of Chlöe which included the tour appearance. “What was that like,” the host asked.

To that, Chlöe replied, “It was really exciting! And all those people [in the audience]. I was like, ‘We get to perform in front of all those people that came here to see Beyoncé?’ That was pretty cool!”

Later on in the interview, Chlöe acknowledged that despite all that she’s accomplished professionally, at times, she is still harsh on herself. When asked what she does to shake out of those moments, she replied, “So I’ll cry it out first. I’m gonna be honest. I call my God mom, and I call Halle and my siblings and just cry and cry, and they’ll be like, ‘Boss up.’”

She added, “And I’m gonna be honest, when my album came out last week, I never thought the day would come, so when it actually happened, I was like trying to figure out every way in my head to make sure it wasn’t happening, or it was like imposter syndrome, so I keep reciting to myself, ‘I deserve it, I deserve it.’”

Chloe Bailey Tells Haters “Kiss My Black A**” At Sold Out “In Pieces” Tour

Chloe Claps Back

Chloe Bailey, one half of the R&B sister duo Chloe x Halle, has been making headlines lately. The young artist recently took to her sold-out In Pieces Tour to clap back at haters who criticized her low album sales, telling them, “kiss my Black a**.” Chloe Bailey recently made headlines after clapping back at haters […]

Chloe Bailey Slams Critics Amid Low Album Sales

Chloe Bailey has been the target of vicious social media critique following the release of her album. This week it was revealed that her solo debut, “In Pieces” only brought in 10,000 in sales during its first week. It came in at #119 on the weekly Billboard 200. With features from Chris Brown, Missy Elliott, and Future, the album seemed promising. Critics have not been kind to the pop star and she is finally firing back at her critics.

During her performance Tuesday night, the Chloe x Halle star stopped her set to speak directly to the audience. The 24-year-old thanked them for their support of her album before going in on everyone who has had something negative to say about her. “F**k what the f**k everybody gotta say,” she said to a cheering crowd. The singer has been gracious up until this point. However, her reaction is warranted.

Chloe Bailey Has Been Plagued With Criticism Since Going Solo

Aside from her music, the Beyonce protege has been the subject of bullying for her acting roles. She appeared in a sex scene in Amazon’s Swarm alongside Damson Idris. However, she endured the bulk of the backlash. Bailey responded that she was simply doing her job. She has also been accused of dating “Praise This” co-star Quavo simply because they were photographed together on the red carpet. Bailey has since denied this, but rumors continue to plague the young woman. Some have even linked her to rapper Future.

Many have also taken aim at Beyonce and Bailey’s label for failing to push “In Pieces” more. She is signed to Columbia Records and Parkwood Entertainment, which is led by Mrs. Carter. Many also question why the album appeared rushed. The rollout appeared limited, with only one lead single, “How Does It Feel” alongside Brown. That single didn’t make much noise. If anything, it angered her fanbase, who accused her of working with an abuser. The Guardian says even the impressive features fail to “add much spark.” Rolling Stone referred to it as an “uneven listen.” Bailey recently shared her theory on the backlash. She believes that those coming at her were never fans of Chloe x Halle, so they do not understand the artistry. Either way, it is refreshing to see Bailey pushing through, despite so much hate online.

Chlöe “In Pieces” Album Review

Chlöe is the other half of the Chloe x Halle musical duo. In recent years, however, we’ve seen her do incredible things as an individual. These have finally culminated in a debut studio album. The original plan was to name the album after herself, but that changed as Chlöe continued to develop the record. In January, the “Treat Me” singer announced the album with a “Heart on My Sleeve” preview.

Chlöe closed out March with the release of her anticipated debut album, In Pieces. The singer has promised the project for some time, and upon delivery, Chlöe was praised for her official introduction. It was challenging, but she partnered with several noteworthy artists to help round out the record. Future, Chris Brown, and Missy Elliott added their voices to In Pieces. It seemed as if Chlöe wanted to stand alone for most of the tracklisting, proving she could create captivating music as a hitmaking solo artist. We’re taking an in-depth look at In Pieces and highlighting the album’s best moments.

Chlöe Without Halle

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – FEBRUARY 04: (L-R) Halle Bailey and Chloe Bailey attend the Pre-GRAMMY Gala & GRAMMY Salute to Industry Icons Honoring Julie Greenwald and Craig Kallman on February 04, 2023 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Lester Cohen/Getty Images for The Recording Academy)

It has become a default trend for collective stars to turn to desperate measures to seek balanced respect. It seems for Chloe x Halle, it is tempting to assume the venture into independence is perhaps each sister carving out their own lane. Halle landed a lead role in the 2023 live adaptation of The Little Mermaid, and the filming took place abroad. This would turn out to be their lengthiest period apart. Consequently, Chlöe found solace in exploring creativity on a personal plain.

The harmonies are not half as intact, and we miss that on In Pieces without Halle. We should, however, not undermine the thrill that springs from some of these quality collaborations. For instance, Future in “Cheatback” was definitely the “Honest” rapper in his natural habitat. Chris Brown, on the other hand, equally in his comfort zone, gave rise to mixed feelings. A chosen few of their fans loved the collaboration, but Brown’s past was a hot topic. Halle’s absence conspicuously made Chlöe seem like a nuance of herself. This was foreseeable, considering they only created separate Instagram accounts a little over two years ago.

Chlöe’s In Pieces: Overall Appraisal

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – FEBRUARY 03: Chlöe performs onstage during MusiCares Persons of the Year Honoring Berry Gordy and Smokey Robinson at Los Angeles Convention Center on February 03, 2023 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Kevin Mazur/Getty Images for The Recording Academy)

In aggregating In Pieces ratings, Metacritic arrived at a score of 64/100—not bad for a debut. Most tracks run under three minutes—talent and wit beget brevity. Chlöe is following the steps of her Industry Aunt, Beyoncé, in so many ways. Is it the religious allusions? The cheating trauma? The unapologetic female sensuality? The self-inclination? All these are precious stones to craftsmanship and even peculiarly more so to these two women. A lady who enjoys being called “baby Beyoncé” is outrightly one to watch out for in things of sexuality.

Chlöe knows how to make an entrance, and she did so on In Pieces‘s first track, “Someone’s Calling (Chlöe).” She sampled Louis Armstrong’s 1952 jazz classic, “Chloe (Song of the Swamp).” What a name play. It almost gave us this Tom-and-Jerry-Christmas-Edition-background-music-vibe. We loved it, but not as much as the sampler herself—it’s her granddaddy’s little souvenir lullaby. Breakups suck, and Chlöe is here to remind us with “Pray It Away.” Through the personal feel of the album, we figure out her 20s have not been entirely kind. Prayer aside, she also dances it away in “Body Do.” Tracks like “Told Ya” and “Cheatback” showcase the character arc. After mourning in prayer, she makes bold decisions in the later tracks.

Scrapped Singles & Forthcoming Tour

Chlöe purposefully released four singles between September 2021 and October 2022. She then had in mind Chlöe, or as we now know it, In Pieces. Fans were astonished to add “Have Mercy,” “Treat Me,” “Surprise,” and “For the Night” to their playlists. She eventually scrapped them, announcing the decision upon releasing “Pray It Away,” the new lead single. Every severe critic would flash an inquisitive eye at this forepassed development. Why did Chlöe change her mind? A theory about “Have Mercy” could be the avoidance of premature redundancy.

Another step Chlöe would take has everything to do with her much-anticipated In Pieces Tour. Her tour will start at the Riviera Theatre in Chicago on April 11. The run will conclude at The Novo in Los Angeles come May 3. Chlöe is just getting started.
