Druski’s Chain Stolen By Birdman & Crew In New Security Footage

Recently, Birdman took to social media to show off a chain that he just recently came into. The hefty Coulda Been Records chain belonged to none other than Druski, the record executive’s known rival. He flexed the jewelry in an Instagram Story, alongside a shady caption. “SURPRISE PARTY B*TCH,” he wrote. “SLIPPIN IN STUDIO RICHG^NG.”

It’s no secret that Druski and Birdman have beef, however, it appears as though the situation only continues to escalate. New security footage obtained by TMZ shows the Cash Money founder and his crew hassling the comedian for the chain, resulting in a high-speed pursuit. In the clip, Birdman is seen standing by as members of his posse urge Druski to remove the jewlery.

Druski refuses, leading one member of the pack to snatch it off of his neck. “No!” the comedian shouts before nearly rolling down a nearby staircase. He and his own associates then make a run for it, as the men begin to chase them. Birdman doesn’t appear to break a sweat, calmly lingering behind the others. In the past, Druski’s made it clear that he feels threatened by Birdman and his crew, and this latest developments is a good example of why. It’s unclear whether or not Druski will ever get his hands back on his Coulda Been Records chain. Clearly, Birdman has sent a message with this recent gesture, letting him know that he needs to back off of his artists and stay in his own lane.

Birdman did previously warn Druski, however, informing him that he was “playin with a real gangsta” when he dissed Drake last month. Recently, Birdman took to social media to show off a serious piece of jewelry. The artist is seen holding a blinged out Coulda Been Records chain in a new Instagram Story, prompting fans to wonder how he came up with it. It’s no secret that there’s been some tension between him and Druski in the past, suggesting that the comedian may have been the victim of a chain-snatching.

“SURPRISE PARTY B*TCH,” Birdman captioned the photo. “SLIPPIN IN STUDIO RICHG^NG.” The Cash Money founder previously gave Druski some trouble for taking inspiration from him for his Coulda Been Records skits. It looks like he got so fed up that he decided to do some thieving of his own. Over the summer, Birdman confronted Druski about the pseudo-label, letting him know that he needs to stay in his own lane. Unfortunately, the heated rivalry only continues.

This only compounded he and Birdman’s animosity, and the record exec reminded him that he’s “playin with a real gangsta.” Druski went on to chat with Forbes about the beef, making it clear that he feels threatened by Birdman.

“Y’all just gotta keep watching,” he explained. “I gotta peak behind my back.” Druski went on to call the feud a classic case of when one’s “idols turn to rivals.” He didn’t reveal much else, insinuating that it wasn’t safe for him to do so. Meek Mill Explains The Time He Asked Jay-Z For His Roc-A-Fella Chain

Plenty of rappers have entertaining stories about their interactions with other, more famous MCs. While it can sometimes go very poorly for some and even potentially start beef, other times it results in funny or even heartwarming stories. A story Meek Mill shared recently lands somewhere in between the two. The rapper, who would eventually become a Roc Nation signee, has a hilarious memory of interacting with Jay-Z early in his career.

“I seen Hov 0ne day — I’m bold as a m*thaf*cka too. He had that Roc chain on one day. I was thinking about it all day. Should I ask him?” Meek recalls during a discussion with Complex. Surprisingly, it worked perfectly for him. “I was like, ‘Yo man, can I get that Roc chain right there? I said I could buy one but it ain’t the same if I buy that sh*t, I need this actual artifact from you. Meek Mill has a new album coming later this week. It’s a full length collaboration with Rick Ross called Too Good To Be True. They’ve already dropped two singles from the album. First came “Shaq & Kobe” back in September and then last month they released the second single “Lyrical Eazy.” Doubling down on the NBA theme of their songs they recruited both Shaq and Damian Lillard to provide guest verses for a remix of “Shaq & Kobe” last week.

They’ve also been teasing potential features on the project, including a MMG reunion. That would mean that Wale was involved, which is seeming increasingly likely the more times they bring it up as a tease. Despite that tease and Meek promising an upcoming Drake collab, they haven’t officially shared the tracklist or features from their new album yet. The artist made an announcement that has left fans and followers searching for his precious lost item. Boosie has issued cash reward for the safe return of his precious diamond chain. It accidentally slipped off during a recent visit to the Atlanta Hawks game. The incident occurred during the game when Boosie was enjoying the music and festivities, particularly grooving to a Missy Elliott track. In a humorous video captured by the artist himself, Boosie can be seen dancing to the rhythm. He was seemingly lost in the moment. During a recent interview with No Jumper, Rico Recklezz spoke on working with Young Buck. The Chicago-born performer claimed that he lost some respect for the Tennessee native after he discovered that he had his chain tucked into his shirt throughout their time in the studio. He says that he left and came back to retrieve his forgotten phone, only to find Young Buck with his chain on full display.

“One time I was around Young Buck and he tucked his chain,” the 32-year-old began. “One time I went to the studio with Young Buck, his b*tch a** tucked his chain… his a** thought I left, I ended up leaving my phone though. I come back in the studio he got his whole chain out. He ain’t had that motherf*cker out the whole time we’ve been in the studio. I lost my respect for him.”

His claims prompted a response from Young Buck, who says that his story is made up. N***A PLEASE.” It remains unclear which of the artists is telling the truth in this situation, but of course, social media users are speculating. While many aren’t buying Rico Recklezz’s accusations, others think they sound conceivable.

This isn’t the first time another artist has taken aim at Young Buck, however. Last month, 50 Cent threw some shade at the former G-Unit member backstage on his Final Lap tour. “Wait ‘til they see Straight Outta Cashville,” he said sarcastically in a clip. Moreover, their legacy and impact continues to thrive and be celebrated to this day, whether physically, culturally, or emotionally. For example, Jadakiss now has a big, shiny, and luxurious new chain to commemorate D-Bloc, courtesy of celebrity jeweler Paul Mazza. It’s a pricey and extravagant piece, but one that Mazza clearly feels particularly proud of given its meaning within rap. Furthermore, on Thursday (September 28), he took to Instagram to share the chain, and the Yonkers MC reacted quite excitedly to it.

“I greatly appreciate @jadakiss giving me the opportunity to make such an iconic symbol of unity that has shaped the game of hip-hop,” Paul Mazza captioned the post. “The pendant is dripping with over 60tcw [total carat weight] in pure Mazza.” Meanwhile, Jadakiss couldn’t help but express his shock and awe at the piece. “That’s *nsane, man, that’s *nsane,” he remarked in the background of a clip of the chain. “This s**t doin’ the macarena!” Overall, it’s a fittingly eye-catching set of jewelry for the 48-year-old, who’s made rap fans turn heads for years now.

Playboi Carti’s jeweler showed off a new “Antagonist Cross” chain for the rapper on social media over the weekend. The piece features an upside-down cross. When Jewelry Unlimited shared a video of it on Instagram, they used Carti and Travis Scott’s collaboration, “FE!N,” to soundtrack the clip.

Several fans complained about Carti’s “satanic” behavior when No Jumper reposted the necklace. One wrote: “Judgement day gonn be interesting for that young man but hey ‘live and let live.’” Others defended Carti: “Not everybody believes in Christianity. Jesus is not God to all. The “Antagonist Chain” arrives as Playboi Carti continues to build up to the release of his highly-anticipated third studio album. Carti hasn’t confirmed details of the project, but with a tour coming at the beginning of 2024, fans expect it to arrive soon. Carti dropped his latest album, Whole Lotta Red, back in 2020. Soulja Boy On Broken Chain: “I Had On Too Many”

Last week, a clip of a pendant on one of Soulja Boy’s chain falling apart during a show began to circulate. In the clip, the artist is seen onstage performing his 2008 hit, “Kiss Me Thru the Phone,” when the piece of jewelry hits the ground. When the pendant fell, he didn’t pick it up, leaving social media users curious as to what happened to it.

As expected, users had a lot to say about the minor wardrobe malfunction. Various commenters claimed that the clip was evidence that he rocks cheap jewelry. Others clowned on him for failing to pick up the stray pendant. Now, however, he’s taken to his own page to respond to the incident, and to come to his own defense. In a new clip, the performer tells No Jumper, who posted the clip on their IG, to stop posting about him. He also claims that the mishap took place because he was simply wearing too many chains.

However, there have been a few others over the years as well. Putting on a show is obviously one of his favourite pastimes. Nevertheless, Champagne Papi also enjoys seeing others try their hand at different ways of speaking. Just last week, it was 03 Greedo who caught the Canadian’s attention with his antics in a post shared on Instagram by Nef The Pharaoh.

“Today on Chain Chain television, we’ve got two kilos of diamonds on my neck,” the recently freed rapper declares in a pompous voice as the camera records him showing off a huge chain. “And what we’re doing right now? We’re balling on these b**ch ass ni**as,” Greedo adds with a laugh, blinding viewers with his luxury jewelry. “I’m sorry, if you’re in a relationship we’re changing that,” he suavely noted to any women watching.

Afterward, Greedo made it clear that if anyone out there is looking to be loved in a romantic way, he just may be the man for them. The hilarious clip has gotten nearly 7.5K likes, and thousands of comments from people reacting to the 35-year-old. One of them came from Drake. He wrote, “This was needed today,” leading Nef The Pharoah to pin him at the very top of the post. “I appreciate it gang ,” the latter wrote back.

Drake seems to be in surprisingly positive spirits considering a handful of his previously unreleased tracks surfaced online today. Two of the seven are rumoured to be on the Toronto native’s upcoming For All The Dogs album, though nothing has been confirmed at this time.
