Ashanti and Nelly are one couple who never fails to flaunt their affection, and the latter’s recent 50th birthday celebration was no exception. The two celebrated alongside friends and family at an intimate gathering over the weekend, and Ashanti went all out. According to Baller Alert, she did the honors of singing him happy birthday with all of their guests and later joined him onstage for a duet. In clips from the evening, they’re seen rocking matching gold outfits.

This isn’t the only party the pair has thrown as of late, however. Reportedly, the event took place just days after they hosted a Western-themed bash on Halloween night and both dressed up as cowboys. Last month, they also celebrated Ashanti’s 44th birthday with a party. Nelly wrote her a heartfelt message on Instagram in honor of the special occasion.

“Happy Bday To the most beautiful woman in the world,” he captioned a series of fun clips and photos from Ashanti’s birthday party. “Putting Smiles on your face is something i wake thinking about and the thing I love doing the most… grateful to have someone who loves and appreciate me as much as I do them … love you mama.”

Obviously, they have plenty to celebrate these days, as it’s been a huge year for both of them. In July of this year, for example, they welcomed their first child together. While announcing her pregnancy, Ashanti also revealed that she and Nelly had decided to tie the knot. Months later, it was reported that the two of them had actually been married since December of 2023, long before fans even suspected. Ashanti seemed to be having a blast in videos of her 44th birthday celebration over the weekend. In videos on social media from her night out over the weekend, she rocks a pink dress with Nelly by her side. The two appeared to go out for dinner and drinks.

When Live Bitez shared the video on Instagram, fans in the comments section showed plenty of love to the couple. “She’s just always a big ball of happy energy. Always smiling and always youthful,” one fan wrote. Another added: “Nelly don’t know what to do when the camera going around them! Ashanti understood the assignment.”

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, she reflected on the experience of childbirth. “He actually came a little early,” Ashanti said. “[His] dad had to fly in last minute which was awesome. Just all of these emotions happening at one time, just knowing that this is your person, this is your purpose, this is what it’s supposed to be. And the three of us together, we were all able to hold each other. It was incredible to watch just how confident and gentle and how soothing he is with his son. It was just an amazing, incredible feeling. It’s just an immense feeling.”

Soulja Boy Puts Out “Swag Season” For His 34th Birthday

Soulja Boy, born DeAndre Cortez Way on July 28, 1990, recently celebrated turning 34 years old! HNHH wishes the Chicago, Illinois rapper a happy belated birthday and from what we have seen online, it seems he’s been celebrating big time! The self-proclaimed first rapper to do everything in the industry is doing Big Draco things like copping the all-new Tesla Cybertruck. He also put on a performance at SeaWorld alongside Bow Wow. But perhaps the biggest thing Soulja Boy has done over the weekend was put out his new album Swag Season on his day of birth. This marks the second project release for him, as it follows up on Swag 6 from February.

Swag Season could be a slight sequel to 2023’s Soulja Season, a much shorter tape in comparison. That sits at nine songs at just 22 minutes and 12 seconds in length. However, Soulja Boy really ups the ante here, bringing out 24 cuts with a 55-minute runtime. Looking back at his singles catalog as of late, it seems that Swag Season is full of brand-new material. It makes sense though, considering the fact that Soulja announced this project would be coming back on July 12 via social media. Across the album, you are getting signature Draco, meaning loads of brags, confidence, and arrogance.

Chloe Bailey first attended Carnival in 2023, declaring it to be “the best time of her entire life.” She made her return this year, further making her love of the event apparent. Carnival, celebrated in so many countries and cities around the world, is a unique blend of history, culture and freedom. Moreover, Megan Thee Stallion referenced one of the bars that Nicki Minaj had for her on her response track. She said that, if “HISS” goes number one, she will have to put the straw back in the bottle of Hennessy. Queen Barb had mentioned this as a shot to her allegedly rowdy drinking tendencies, and Tina Snow herself even admitted during this convo to being in a much different place back in 2019. We can only imagine what else she has planned if her new song makes it big.

While that last point is a common concept in hip-hop beef, it’s a very hard call to make.
