Mike Tyson is going to be fighting Jake Paul on July 20th. Overall, this boxing match is going to be broadcast on Netflix, and there is a whole lot of fanfare surrounding it. However, the fight has led to lots of criticisms about whether or not someone of Tyson’s age should even be fighting. He is 57 years old while Jake is 27. This is a 30-year age difference, and most people believe that Tyson will get absolutely decimated by the younger man. Fans don’t really want to see that, but in turns out Tyson is working hard, regardless.

In a new interview on Fox News, with Sean Hannity, Tyson spoke about the steps he is taking for this fight. Essentially, he is working out every day and around the lock. Firstly, he starts his day out with some rowing exercises. From there, he goes to his boxing gym in the afternoon for sparring. Subsequently, strength and conditioning or what he ends up finishing the day with. Needless to say, the former heavyweight champion of the world is no slouch.

Mike Tyson Is Ready

As for Jake Paul, he continues to train for the fight in Puerto Rico. He has his brother Logan helping him out, and there is no doubt that he is in better shape right now. That said, Mike still has a whole lot of punching power. If Paul wants to win the match, he may just have to play keep-away the whole time. Otherwise, Tyson could shock the former YouTube star with a significant strike to the head. Only time will tell how this will all go down.

Jake Paul Responds To Conor McGregor Criticism Of Mike Tyson Fight

Jake Paul has said his fight with Mike Tyson will be “the most viewed boxing event of all time” while hitting back at criticism from Conor McGregor. “No fight ever has done these numbers in terms of face-off views, Instagram reels,” Jake said. “Just on our main pages alone, it’s like 50-60 million Instagram views on both of our posts. Not to mention every single other sports page posting it. That’s never happened in the history of the sport, to reach those numbers,” Paul said of the pre-fight hype.

Paul’s comments were directed at McGregor, who joined the voices stating that there was no interest in the fight. McGregor went as far as to say that people would rather see him fight Tyson. However, Paul did make one concession. As the fight was being streamed on Netflix, and would be free to all Netflix subscribers, there would be no PPV data to compare with previous fights. Instead, Paul and Tyson will have to rely on raw viewership and viewer retention data to make their case.

Michael Chandler Confirms Conor McGregor Bout

I can’t tell you the actual date, but it’s happening this summer!” Chandler told TMZ. McGregor had previously teased a fight with Chandler for the summer. “I’d like to announce the return date for myself, ‘Notorious’ Conor McGregor. The greatest comeback of all time will take place in Las Vegas, International Fight Week of June 29. The opponent, Michael Chandler — and the weight, Mr. Chandler, 185 pounds,” McGregor announced in a video on X on New Year’s Eve. However, the UFC did not, and has not, confirmed that fight. That may change given Chandler’s new announcement.

As mentioned, McGregor is expected to return to the Octagon later this year. Furthermore, McGregor’s previously stated 185-pound weight is interesting as it’s well beyond the “natural” weight of both fighters. McGregor and Chandler both traditionally fight at 155 lbs. McGregor has previously fought as high as 170 lbs but never at 185 lbs. Additionally, it will be interesting to see how McGregor fares after two years away. His last two fights were convincing losses before he was sidelined with a broken leg.

Taken from Wahid’s Instagram, the image appears to show Wahid hugging a friend from behind as the friend makes a kissing face at Wahid. “I love my brothas” can be seen as a caption to the image. “WTF Abdul” Garcia added in a screenshot he posted to his own Instagram story. A number of people have alleged the other person in the image is Adrien Broner.

Of course, there is no love lost between Garcia and Wahid. Wahid soundly beat Garcia last year. However, comments from Wahid in recent days appear to indicate that he would be open to a rematch. That is a fight that Garcia has been hoping for since his defeat. “Obviously I’m disappointed. I tried my best but he caught me with a good body shot. I’ll come back stronger and yeah man, one day…rack up a couple wins and maybe we could do a rematch at maybe 140, 147,” Garcia said immediately after their fight.

The fight, dubbed “Last Man Standing” will occur on June 1 and be preceded by a multi-city promotional tour.
