Gillie Bashes Police At His Boxing Event For Shooting Confusion That Led To Cancellation

Gillie Da Kid had to angrily kick everyone out of his boxing event this weekend due to an alleged shooting against police outside, but it turns out that this was a huge misunderstanding that made him all the more irate. “Shout out to everybody that supported us tonight,” Gillie began his video response to the matter. “Shout out to everybody that tuned into the pay-per-view. But I also want to say this, man. The Wilmington police is the worst f***ing police district in the f***ing country.” He claimed that he paid police and security $14,000, yet their captain had to ask him to control the crowd outside the venue that didn’t have tickets, who were apparently very rowdy.

Furthermore, Gillie Da Kid didn’t understand why this had to be his job, but he followed through anyway because the captain suggested that the police would have to use force as an alternative. “Five minutes later, y’all macing motherf***ers,” he ranted against the police. When Gillie heard that people were allegedly shooting at police outside, the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game cohost was shocked and kicked everybody out. But then, the police said that people were shouting at them, not shooting. “You made me kick all of these motherf***ers out the stands ’cause some n***as was outside shouting at the f***ing police?!” he asked indignantly.

This was a really rough situation for almost everyone involved, as the non-ticketed crowd and police cost a lot of people money, time, and peace. For Gillie Da Kid in particular, this situation might’ve hit home for him due to his condemnation of gun violence, but to hear that it was all a miscommunication afterwards was clearly a massive blow.

Hopefully he can avoid these types of situations in the future for his next events, as this is the last thing that he wants to promote or condone. Gillie Da Kid (or King, rather) has a brazen sense of humor, but you certainly do not want to be on the receiving end of one of his scathing rants. What should’ve been a great event seemingly fell victim to poor planning on behalf of security staff.

Gille Da Kid recently hosted a boxing event that apparently ended in nasty fashion, as he ranted in livid fashion against a crowd after patrons allegedly shot at police outside of the venue. It’s unclear exactly what happened and what the context behind this scathing reaction is, but given his past remarks and philosophies, he was absolutely livid. “Please, turn that music off,” Gillie began. “Me and Wallo put on for the city, and this how you b***hes treat us? Y’all outside, f***ing ripped the door out, shot at the f***ing police and all that dumba** s**t. Get the f**k out! All of y’all, get the f**k out! That’s what type of f***ing respect you give us, all the s**t we do? Get the f**k up out this joint.”

Furthermore, Gillie probably feels particularly strongly about this type of alleged incident due to how he lost his son to gun violence. “Long Live Cheese [crying emoji]. Miss u kid #WeGotChase,” he captioned a post showing off a video billboard that he and his family put up in New York City to honor the one-year anniversary of YNG Cheese’s tragic loss.

We’ll see if Gillie Da Kid and Wallo address this boxing event altercation at any point in the near future, although the former certainly made his point and thoughts clear. But not every headline around him is as combative or as angry, as he recently traded jokes with Cam’ron via Instagram about an edited meme picture of him and R. Kelly. “[laughing emoji] Dam homie don’t do that I told u I was playing,” Gillie responded to Killa Cam. Also, Wallo had his own jokes to make about the situation in the comments section of the Dipset rapper’s original post.

Meanwhile, Gillie drew divisive reactions earlier this year thanks to his hot battle takes about Kendrick Lamar and Drake, so he’s used to addressing conflict and backlash. However, this boxing event situation seems like an entirely different beast, and we hope that no one got hurt if something really did go down. Still, maybe we will receive more clarification on it in the coming weeks.

Mike Tyson Wallops Jake Paul During Weigh In For Boxing Match

Absolute chaos. That’s the phrase that comes to mind when describing the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul boxing match. These two celebrities could not be further apart in style and in approach, and yet, they are scheduled to get in the ring with each other on November 15. The evening before, Mike Tyson and Jake Paul did the customary weigh in. It all seemed like good fun until the former decided to start the fight a little early, and slap Paul in the face.

The actual weigh in went smoothly enough. Mike Tyson came in at 228.4 pounds, while Jake Paul came in at a slightly lighter 227.2 pounds. The two men then came off the scale and partook in a classic stare down. It’s a situation fans have seen Tyson in dozens of times before. Paul has even grown accustomed to these thanks to his recent career pivot towards boxing. What happened next, though, was anything but normal. Mike Tyson decided to haul off and slap Paul across the side of the head with his right arm. As was previously stated, chaos ensued. People rushed in to separate the two men, and all Tyson had to say was: “talk is over.”

Chaos the night before the main event is a great way to remind fans to tune in. In case you needed evidence for this, Netflix clipped and posted the viral slap moment on social media within an hour of it taking place.

Jake Paul proceeded to milk the moment on social media. He hopped on Twitter and decided to take the angle of being starstruck by a fighter of Mike Tyson’s pedigree. “This a pinch me moment,” the Vlogger-turned-fighter wrote. “I got slapped by Mike Tyson.” The internet flooded Paul’s mentions, of course, and the photo of Tyson making contact with Paul’s head went viral in what felt like nanoseconds. Floyd Mayweather has been engaging in some truly ridiculous exhibition matches as of late. Overall, these matches do not have an official winner and most of the time, they are simply a money grab. That was certainly the case over the weekend as Mayweather had a rematch against John Gotti III. If you remember, the last time these two fought, Gotti tried to fight Mayweather in between rounds and was subsequently expelled from the match.

In this latest fight, it was a referee who was actually removed from the proceedings. As you can see in the clip down below, Mayweather was given a penalty by the match’s original ref. However, Mayweather got angry and began to yell at the official. Eventually, he fired the ref and told him to get lost. From there, a new ref came into the fold and the match continued. It was all very bizarre, but that is par for the course when it comes to these exhibitions where the stakes are simply too low.

Fans were not happy during the match, whatsoever. There were choruses of boos throughout the proceedings, and it was very clear that some felt as though their time had been completely wasted. It is unfortunate, but that is what you get when you go to these fights now. Hopefully, Floyd gives us something a bit more exciting the next time he steps into the ring. Jake Paul and Mike Tyson were originally supposed to fight on July 20th in Texas. However, the fight was postponed after Tyson suffered a medical emergency. While it was believed that the two would be able to continue as is, it became clear that for Tyson’s safety, the date needed to be moved. Overall, some fans had criticized Paul, saying this was a bad idea. That he had no business getting in the ring with someone double his age, who is clearly of poor health.

Well, it seems as though Paul is not listening to any of that. Additionally, neither is Tyson. Earlier today, it was revealed that the fight will go on as planned, except it will now take place on November 15th. AT&T Stadium will still house the fight, and it will still be available live on Netflix. That said, this will not soften the debate around whether or not this fight should even be happening at all. By November, there is no telling what Mike Tyson’s health may look like.

DDG Accepts YK Osiris’ Boxing Challenge, Shows Off His Moves In The Process

This subsequently prompted a response from the artist, who came out and showcased a boxing video of his own. In this video, he flexed a ripped physique while showing off some punches. While Osiris wasn’t all that impressed, DDG did note that he would fight for free if given the opportunity.

A lot of witnesses to one of the biggest feuds in hip-hop history feel that Drizzy caught the L right on the dome. But now, the losses are snowballing, as Drake is down $565,000 dollars after Tyson Fury lost his big-time boxing match with Oleksandr Usyk last night. It was reported yesterday that The Boy was putting his money where his mouth was via the betting giant Stake.

For those who do not follow the sport, the fight between these two decorated athletes was a big deal. According to Sports Illustrated, Usyk became boxing’s first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis did it in 2000. The Ukranian, who weighed in at 223 pounds, was 21-0 (14 KO) coming into the hyped-up slug fest. On the other side, Fury clocked in decisively heavier at 262 while also being undefeated at 34-1-0 (24 KO).

According to Uproxx, Fury appeared to be in the lead in the early going. However, the things took a quick turn for the favorite in round nine. Most likely the deciding factor in the split decision victory for Usyk, he whaled on him with a mean and clean left hook. Benzino Thinks He’d Beat 50 Cent In A Boxing Match

It looks like Benzino could be looking for another boxing opponent after Joe Budden allegedly backed out of their match, and he just might have his sights set on 50 Cent. During a recent appearance on the We In Miami podcast, The Source icon was weighing in on Fif’s ongoing feud with Diddy, claiming that he’s unsurprised by it. He says that since Diddy’s allegedly been messing with the mother of 50 Cent’s child, there’s bound to be some strong feelings involved. Benzino was then asked whether or not he’d ever consider taking on 50 Cent in the ring. With no hesitation, he said yes, arguing that size doesn’t really matter when it comes to boxing.

“Being big don’t mean nothing in boxing, history has shown us that,” he described. “50’s been shot in the face before so that counts. He had to get reconstructive surgery; he’s not gonna be able to take any old punch in his face.” Benzino continued, claiming that with a few months of training under his belt, he’d have it in the bag.

Jake Paul Had Lil Pump Writhing In Pain After A Vicious Body Shot

However, he eventually found his way into the sport of boxing. He has actually excelled at the sport, with wins against real boxers and some MMA stars. While he did lose to Tommy Fury, he is now looking to show the world that he can even defeat legends. On July 20th, he will be fighting against none other than Mike Tyson, who is 30 years older than him.

The fighter has been putting in a whole lot of work ahead of this bout. After all, he is going to need to be in top shape if he wants to avoid Tyson’s punches. While Paul is favored to win the match, he can’t get away with simply holding back. He is going to have to come out and give his best effort possible. However, he is also making time for some fun. For instance, he recently had Lil Pump at his training facility. It was here where Pump asked the former YouTuber to punch him in the body.
