Cardi B may not be everyone’s cup of tea. Especially, lately, because of her recent outbursts on social media and in the real world. One of the wildest storylines that have come from the hip-hop world was the New York rapper’s outdoor show in Las Vegas. It took place during the later stages of the summer, and with it being in Nevada, it was extremely hot. So, Cardi asked fans to spray water on her while she was onstage to cool her off. However, one concertgoer took it a bit too literally and chucked an entire water cup at her.

After that, it was on. Cardi was naturally furious, but what she did was a little unwarranted. She retaliated with more violence by tomahawking the microphone toward the person in the crowd. It was quite a viral moment from this year. In fact, it was amplified even more, after the microphone went on auction for charity. Even though it fell through, it was one of the craziest things to happen within the hip-hop community. While it does paint Cardi in the most positive light, we have learned one thing from this.

This latest Instagram Live clip shows why she does not need any bodyguards to protect her. A fan asked if she needed one, offering their services. The clip cuts off right as she starts her explanation and it looks like she was going to say she does have people. She might be joking, but we have seen how Cardi rolls.

Mase Overestimated Number Of Bloods Looking For Him After Biggie’s Death, Diddy’s Former Bodyguard Claims

During a recent episode of It Is What It Is, Mase reflected on the aftermath of The Notorious B.I.G.’s 1997 death. According to the Florida-born rapper, things got pretty scary. He claimed that around “70” Bloods were on the hunt for him, leaving him afraid to even step out of his hotel room. He said that he then called up Gene Deal, Diddy’s former bodyguard, who eventually came and got him.

“After Big got killed, they were probably looking for more Bad Boy artists,” Mase explained. “I was left in L.A. And from that day, I always said, ‘I’m outta here. I was left! I came there with people; I ain’t leave with those people. You know how it goes. Find your way home.” Now, Deal has come through with his own version of events, which differs slightly from Mase’s. He sat down with The Art of Dialogue this week to reflect on the frightening situation.

Gene Deal Offers His Version Of Events

“I called Mase that morning, and me and Mase spoke,” Deal described. “And then, he was telling me how all them Bloods and everything that was out there. So, I was with a couple of dudes that was from Black Hands — which is a part of the Black Guerrilla Mafia.” He went on, explaining how he thinks Mase could have overestimated the amount of Bloods there out of fear. “We just went to the end of his hallway. He said it was a lot of Bloods out there. It’s some dudes out there I wasn’t recognizing. You know I recognize, but I don’t think it was — You know, he said it was like 70 [Bloods]. When I got there, it wasn’t that many dudes out there like that, but he could’ve seen 70, 17, 20, 30,” he explained.

Diddy’s alleged involvement in Tupac Shakur’s murder has become one of the hottest old-school hip-hop stories of the year. Not only are other rappers throwing in their two cents (or 50 cents, we should say), but it revived general interest in the circumstances behind the West Coast legend’s tragic loss. Moreover, folks within these inner circles with more firsthand experience with these figures are vouching for them. For example, former Bad Boy bodyguard Gene Deal spoke to The Art Of Dialogue on Thursday (October 26) about this debacle. He didn’t claim to have any solid information on whether Puff did anything, but he knows that his client knew Duane “Keefe D” Davis, the main suspect in the case who is currently in custody and accused of taking orders from the mogul in many’s eyes in the rap community.

“Keefe D, I’ve seen him a number of times,” the security guard expressed. “[He and Diddy] were gambling together, they were drinking together, they had fun, they was hanging out in hotels. Yes, they did have a relationship. As far as me having any information whether he commissioned Keefe D to do a murder, nah bruh, that ain’t me. They can ask me, did I see Keefe D? Yes, I did. Was he around? Yes, he was.”

Diddy’s Ex-Bodyguard’s Convo With The Art Of Dialogue: Watch

Furthermore, Deal stated that, if asked to do so by the case, he would testify and has nothing to hide. However, during another Art Of Dialogue conversation last month, he broke down what he thinks happened to ‘Pac. “Well, the story I heard, which was portrayed in the Murder Rap movie or whatever,” the guard explained. “It was [ex-detective] Greg Kading’s accounts that supposedly Keefe D gave. If you ever been in an interrogation or anything that has to do with some law enforcement, right? Before they get to that videotape, before they get to that camera, it’s already written down what you’re going to say. They going to tell you what they need for you to say and how they need for you to think. What you need to do to get out this situation.

“And Keefe D, no disrespect,” he concluded. “To me, he did what he had to do to walk home. He said what he had to say to be a free man. All the players is dead right now. Kris Jenner’s Former Bodyguard Drops $3 Million Sexual Assault Lawsuit

In 2020, Kris Jenner’s former bodyguard filed a lawsuit against the matriarch, alleging that she groped him in 2017. The guard, Marc McWilliams, detailed a particularly unsettling alleged incident that he claimed occurred in Jenner’s Bentley. According to the suit, she began making suggestive comments to him before things took an allegedly nonconsensual turn.

“Without warning, Jenner placed her right hand on the inside upper left thigh and groin area of McWilliams in a manner that was overtly sexually offensive,” the suit read. “She then caused her right hand to move up the upper, inner left thigh and groin, while caressing McWilliams. McWilliams was shocked and offended by the uninvited and overtly sexual contact by Jenner and attempted to shift away from her groping. As he moved his body away from the offensive sexual contact, Jenner’s right hand come into contact with McWilliams’ inner groin and genital area.”

The suit also said that as a result of Jenner’s alleged unwanted sexual advances, McWilliams has dealt with depression and other health problems. He alleged that the behavior was ongoing, becoming a “pattern” despite his requests for it to stop. On top of the sexual assault allegations, McWilliams additionally accused Jenner of racial discrimination. Allegedly, he was subjected to “pervasive and cruel mockery, harassment, belittling, and otherwise humiliating mistreatment by defendants due to (his) race” while employed by the reality star. Jenner denies the allegations. “His absurd allegations are clearly fabricated and are contrary to easily confirmed facts,” her attorney stated. “Kris never acted inappropriately toward him.”

Now, McWilliams has asked an LA judge to dismiss the case with prejudice, meaning that it can’t be retried. It’s unclear why the former member of Jenner’s security team chose to drop the suit. Lil Uzi Vert Bodyguard Arrested For Impersonating Law Enforcement, Gun Possession: Report

The man responsible for keeping Lil Uzi Vert safe has found himself in trouble with the law for allegedly impersonating law enforcement. Per New York Post, Kevin Nelson, the rapper’s bodyguard, was detained by NYPD on Monday. Police said they found him with an illegal semi-automatic firearm in his car but his attempt to get out of the arrest is what led to the outrageous charge. Authorities claim they pulled him over when he was in the passenger seat of a Ford F-1450 over a traffic stop. However, they claim he attempted to convince the officers that he was a cop. 

It didn’t take long for the cops to realize that Nelson had no official affiliation with law enforcement. NYPD officials identified Nelson as a Philadelphia resident before hitting him with charges of criminal possession of a firearm and criminal impersonation. Fortunately, Lil Uzi Vert wasn’t in the car, nor did he face any arrests because of his security. However, the incident reportedly took place after his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where he performed his hit record, “Just Wanna Rock.”

While Nelson faces charges, Uzi’s recent performance on The Tonight Show indicates that his upcoming Pink Tape will arrive shortly. After dropping Red + White last summer, the rapper hinted at his follow-up to Eternal Atake. Though the project has been in the works for a few years, DJ Cannon revealed that Lil Uzi Vert recorded upwards of 700 songs within a year and a half. Cannon explained that they needed to sift through the vault to find the right songs for the tracklist.

Meanwhile, Uzi provided fans with a brief update at Rolling Loud. Knowing that he’s made many empty promises to his fans, he assured them that the body of work is near completion and should be out soon. “I do make y’all wait a long time for music and I’m so sorry. I thought that shit was cool before but that shit is lame,” he said during his performance. “I’m putting the final touches on Pink Tape and I promise — I made a lot of promises in my life, but this time I promise.”

Megan Thee Stallion’s Former Bodyguard Said Tory Lanez Apologized For Shooting: Report

The legal battle between Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez ramped up this week, as both sides give their testimonies. Recently, Meg’s former bodyguard Justin Edison did not attend trial proceedings when called to testify. While some see this as Meg’s case disintegrating, many have noticed how fishy this seems. A source told Rolling Stone that Edison gave a statement that Lanez apologized to him for shooting Megan.

According to these new reports, Edison primarily contributed to authorities charging Tory in the first place. Apparently, the bodyguard went to the Canadian rapper’s house to get his client’s belongings. After, he claims that Lanez apologized to him for the shooting, and issued a witness statement in reference. However, other witnesses backtracked rather than disappeared, such as Meg’s friend Kelsey Harris.

Regardless, Edison didn’t appear in court to give this testimony, which caused many to raise eyebrows. “Megan bodyguard Justin Edison is now considered a missing person,” one user wrote on Twitter. However, the Los Angeles Police Department told TMZ that there’s no missing person’s case for Edison.

Said user stated, “He was supposed to testify yesterday. He’s the sole reason Tory got charged. He went to Tory house to get Megan’s things, he claim Tory confessed that he shot Meg and now he’s missing out of nowhere, yeah okay.”

Seemingly, authorities in the LAPD dismissed Edison’s disappearance enough to not warrant a missing person’s case. Still, Rolling Stone’s report suggests that there’s a lot of withheld information in this case. Also, if Edison issued that statement and had every intention to testify, it would support the Houston rapper’s emotional testimony. However, things in court are not that easy. As witnesses flip and the case impacts Meg’s personal life, people are unsure of how far this will go.

Kanye & Kim’s Ex-Bodyguard Says He “Never Saw Any Affection”

Kanye West & Kim Kardashian’s former bodyguard, Steve Stanulis, says that he “never saw any affection” between the two. He worked with the former couple for 15 days in 2016, a period which will be the focus of a new documentary, 15 Days With Kanye.

“It was like I discovered the Titanic,” he told The Sun in a recent interview. “I’ve never seen them snuggly or hold hands or anything romantic. You know, even like when they were together, they kissed each other goodbye, and I don’t mean like make out. I mean just like, ‘Hey, see you later, hun.’ I never saw any affection.”

Stanulis went on: “I just thought it was odd. I’d be with them sometimes 17, 18 hours a day, and she’d be doing her thing, and then he’d do his thing.”

The bodyguard added that he only saw Kim around on “maybe four or five of those [15] days.”

Ye and Kardashian married back in 2014 and remained together until last year. They share four children together.

Later in his discussion with The Sun, Stanulis remarked that West “absolutely needs rehab.” He added that he could tell West “had some issues.”

“I didn’t know how dire or to what extent again,” he further continued. “But I came out of that [gig] saying, ‘I couldn’t deal with that on an everyday basis.’”

15 Days With Kanye will premiere on January 19 at the New York City International Film Festival in 2023.

Stanulis’ comments come as West has been facing vast public scrutiny for his recent behavior. He’s made countless antisemitic comments while losing millions in endorsement deals.

Safaree Samuels Says Bodyguard “Body Slammed” Disrespectful Woman

A woman who had a tense exchange with Safaree Samuels got more than she bargained for. The Love & Hip Hop star shared a story online of an interaction with a woman who approached him while he was out and about with his children. Samuels and ex-wife Erica Mena’s tense split was displayed for television and social media audiences. There have been passionate reactions from the public, but Samuels was surprised someone would come up to him in public.

“I’m only addressing this right now because now, it’s starting to trickle into real life,” said Samuels. “I was somewhere just now, I got my kids with me, and some lady, girl, whatever you wanna call her, she sees me. She’s like, ‘Oh, good to see you’re with your kids.’ But she said it like—it was very disrespectful.”

“I don’t know who this lady was,” Samuels continued. He told the woman to get away from him and the two engaged in an exchange. “She says to me, ‘Oh, if you weren’t with your kids, I would spit at you.’ I’m with my security. So, now, you’re talking crazy. As she’s saying it, she’s kinda like coming towards me.” Not knowing what to expect, Samuels said his priority was protecting his children.

“He body slammed her so hard, she was on the floor looking stupid. It’s like, yo, you asked for it. You see somebody with their kids, you don’t know me. I don’t care if you see me on TV, social media, none of them. You do not know me in real life.”

Samuels also added that he’s with his children Monday through Wednesday each week in addition to paying child support. “They are dudes out here paying child support and they don’t even be with their kids,” he said.

“For the most part, I was just letting people think what they wanna think, I didn’t even care what anyone thought. But the fact that somebody really in real life said something. I don’t know if it was a clothesline or body slam, whatever. She was on the floor looking stupid… She gon’ probably try to sue me now.”
