On Monday, Oct. 23rd, Drake rang in his birthday in style at Casadonna, a new coastal, Italian-inspired restaurant and bar in Miami. The establishment is a collaborative effort between David Grutman (Groot Hospitality) and Noah Tepperberg and Jason Strauss (Tao Group Hospitality).
The birthday bash had some surprise star power as Breaking Bad actors Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston took over bartending duties while promoting their Dos Hombres Tequila. Drake, sporting an all-black ensemble, enjoyed the evening with his friends and couldn’t resist some playful banter about having to mix drinks with mango juice instead of his usual go-to, Passionfruit.
The celebration turned heartwarming as Drake’s friends and OVO crew toasted him and thanked him for being why they’ve all become “Rich Baby Daddies.” This reference is to Drake’s newest single, “Rich Baby Daddy,” in collaboration with Sexxy Redd and SZA. It was a night of fun, surprises, and heartfelt appreciation as Drake marked another year.

At the age of 37, Drake has a more impressive resume than most of his contemporaries. Days before his birthday (October 24), the Canadian confidently celebrated tying Michael Jackson’s Billboard record thanks to his For All The Dogs album, which also marked yet another No. 1 debut for him. After a few years of consistently dropping diverse new music, Drizzy recently confirmed that he’ll be taking a break from the studio to turn his focus toward his health and wellness.
Thankfully, fans won’t be suffering too much during the 6ix God’s hiatus, as he has an impressive discography to keep them going. In honour of his birthday, we’re playing throwback hits like “Miss Me” featuring Lil Wayne to commemorate all of the greatness Drake has achieved throughout his career so far. Even early on, the Scorpion artist was confident in himself and his abilities – not to mention in professing his love for the Queen of Rap.
“I love Nicki Minaj, I told her I’d admit it / I hope one day we get married just to say we f**kin’ did it,” Drake spits near the end of his verse. “And girl, I’m f**kin’ serious, I’m wit’ it if you wit’ it / ‘Cause yo’ verses turn me on and yo’ pants are mighty fitted.”
Go back in time and watch Drake and Lil Wayne’s “Miss Me” visual above. If the throwback track isn’t already on your playlist, you can find it on Spotify/Apple Music. Scorpio season is already off to a seriously hot start, as we spotlighted an old hit from Miguel to kick things off yesterday. Tap into that at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.
That’s why me and Lil Jaz ’bout to spaz, can you keep up? I’m just feelin’ sorry for whoever gotta sweep up Yeah, bills everywhere, trill everything And Drake just stand for Do Right And Kill Everything
Today (October 23) officially marks the beginning of Scorpio season, which brings a major shift in energy from the fun and flirtatious vibes that were present during Libra season. Plenty of our favourite celebrities previously celebrated their birthdays under the sign of the scales, with 21 Sav closing things out on Sunday (October 22). There are plenty of Scorpios eager for their turn to commemorate another year of life, but we’re kicking off with Miguel, who’s now 38.
Ahead of his birthday, the Wildheart hitmaker has been keeping busy with some adventurous endeavours. Not only did he perform a new song while trying out a wild body suspension act, but the creative also confirmed that he’s got more unreleased music coming our way soon. As we eagerly await the arrival of that, we’re happy to revisit some of Miguel’s earliest hits, such as “Sure Thing” from his All I Want Is You album.
The Happy Perez-produced beat is nothing short of feel-good, leaving listeners grinning from ear to ear as they listen to Miguel’s love-laced lyrics. “Even when the sky comes fallin’ / Even when the sun don’t shine / I got faith in you and I / So put your pretty little hand in mine,” the California-born recording artist croons on the chorus before finding more perfect comparisons that sum up his overwhelming feelings of affection.
Revisit the visual for Miguel’s “Sure Thing” above, then add the song to your R&B Season playlist on Spotify/Apple Music if it’s not already there. Which of the birthday boy’s throwback songs is your personal favourite? Let us know in the comments, and read all about Miguel’s upcoming album (marking his first in six years) at the link below.

Happy belated birthday to Roddy Ricch, who celebrated 25 years around the sun yesterday (Sunday, October 22). In a new Instagram post published the following day, he shared with fans some of his wishes and missions for the next 365 days, and gave some insight into his mental state. “25 is the YEAR of DEMONSTRATION,” the Compton rapper wrote as his post’s caption, which included various pictures of himself. “CANCEL the NEGATIVE ENERGY of TODAY and FOCUS on TOMORROW. LEAVE SUCCESS and FAILURE behind while CONTINUING to BUILD HEALTH & WEALTH. #HAPPYBIRTHDAYCHAMP.” In addition, he also celebrated by partying on a yacht with DJ Mustard, YG, and Southside.
Furthermore, in the comments, fans shared their congratulations with him, wishing him more life in the future. Unfortunately, Roddy Ricch is often at the center of a lot of fan backlash as of late, or at least, that’s the public perception that many folks run with online. In reality, he probably deals with as many haters as any other MC, but it’s a very vocal group that he engages with often. With this in mind, we hope that the now-25-year-old keeps blocking it out and focusing on himself not just in the musical realm, but in the personal sense.
After all, we all want to see another Roddy Ricch hit, as we know he can craft amazing singles, deep material, and engaging full-length projects. However, he also has a lot of things to set straight in his private life, and some choices to be held accountable for. The Feed Tha Streets artist is currently locked in a custody battle in court, one that aired out a lot of his dirty laundry. With accusations of misbehavior and addiction levied his way, he has plenty to reflect on for 2024 which he’s hopefully able to separate from the music and give an equal amount of time and passion into both.

On that note, what do you want to see from the hitmaker in 2024 or before the year wraps up? Do you think this will be a comeback year or did he never fall off in the first place? Let us know what you think about this in the comments down below. Also, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and more updates on Roddy Ricch.
Snoop Dogg celebrated his 52nd birthday with Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly on stage at Ferrell’s Best Night of Your Life 2 benefit show at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, on Saturday night. In doing so, the group performed the song, “Boats ‘N Hoes,” from the movie, Step Brothers, as well as a rendition of Snoop’s 1993 hit “Gin & Juice.”
“Yesterday was a very special day. It was Snoop Dogg’s birthday,” Reilly said on stage after rolling out a three-layer cake. From there, Snoop lit up his joint with a candle from the cake. “That’s what I’m taking about,” Reilly remarked. Snoop later shared a clip of the moment on Instagram. “My brothers surprised me,” he captioned the post. “Will and John.”

Snoop turned 52 on Friday, October 20. He spoke about celebrating his birthday during a recent interview with PEOPLE. “You gotta treat yourself, don’t cheat yourself,” he told the outlet. “Like fine wine, I’m aging better with time. But we really only got a short time here, so making the most of life and trying to be the best version of me every day, by surrounding myself with good people, positive energy and love.”

Snoop also discussed performing on his High School Reunion US Tour, which he described to PEOPLE as feeling like being, “on the road with my friends that have accomplished so much in this industry.” He added: “And we got to see people of all ages and backgrounds come through, from grandmas to babies. I think that’s a testament to not only the work I’ve put in, but the love I’ve shown the world. I’ve been able to evolve from generation to generation by being true to who I am. My mom taught me to love everybody from all walks of life, so I’ve continued to put that love out into the world.”
21 Savage turns 31-years-old today, and he celebrated the momentous occasion with his loved ones. In a new clip, the UK-born performer is seen surrounded by various friends, who appear to be raising a toast to him. He, of course, was all smiles as the group cheered him on.
He also got a birthday shout-out from Metro Boomin recently, who shared some heartfelt words about the rapper in honor of his 31st. “Happy bday my first born,” the producer began. “You make pops proud of the man you’re becoming.” The message was shared to both of their Instagram Stories, along with throwback photo of the two of them from back in the day. Metro Boomin then went on to post another, more current photo of them on stage together.
Turning 31 isn’t the only thing the artist has to celebrate, however. For one, he also just wrapped up a wildly successful tour alongside his Her Loss collaborator, Drake. Towards the end of the It’s All A Blur tour, the Toronto native dropped his eagerly-anticipated album For All The Dogs. On his track “8AM In Charlotte,” Drake revealed that 21 Savage finally got his green card. This meant that he would be finally be able to join him for the tour’s Canadian dates.
Now that’s he’s allowed to perform outside of the U.S., 21 Savage has unveiled a slew of overseas tour dates. Beginning in November, the hitmaker will make various stops in Europe. He’ll perform in Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Manchester, his hometown of London, and more. Aside from ending his immigration case, 21 Savage also dropped off a new track with d4vd earlier this week. The song, “Call Me Revenge,” is set to appear on the soundtrack of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which comes out next month. What do you think of 21 Savage’s recent birthday celebration? Kourtney Kardashian reflected on the various fights she’s gotten in with her sister, Kim, in honor of her birthday on Instagram, Saturday. While penning a lengthy tribute to the 43-year-old, Kourtney shared numerous photos of the two of them together from over the years.
“Happy happy birthday to my first sister @kimkardashian!” Kourtney wrote on her Instagram Story. “Thank you for all those years of bossing you around and you actually listening to all my cr*zy ideas. People think the fights they’ve seen on tv are bad…if only they got to witness the hair pulling, nail digging ones from early high school. The joys of sisterhood. I love you deeply forever and always. May God bless this year with love and happiness and abundant joy. [heart emoji].” She also shared a picture of the two in matching Halloween costumes with the caption: “Twinning since the beginning.” Throughout the day, she added more photos of the two.
As depicted on the family’s Hulu series, The Kardashians, Kourtney and Kim have been feuding since Kim worked with Dolce & Gabbana in 2022. That collaboration came after Kourtney worked with them for her and Travis Barker’s wedding. During a recent episode of the show, Kim remarked that she and Kourtney’s friends “call us complaining” and are in a “group chat that’s actually labeled ‘Not Kourtney.’” Check out Kourtney’s post for Kim on Instagram below.
Kourtney Pays Tribute To Kim
Kim celebrated her 43rd birthday on Friday night at Funke restaurant in Beverly Hills. In doing so, she brought along her sisters as well as Hailey Bieber and Lauren Sánchez, among others. Be on the lookout for further updates on The Kardashians on HotNewHipHop.
Kim Kardashian turned 43 this week and celebrated the milestone in style. The reality star rocked a cutaway red dress at a star-studded party at Funke in Beverly Hills. Most of Kim’s immediate family was there, with Kendall, Kylie, Khloe, and Kris all showing out. No word on whether Kourtney was there but if she wasn’t, it wouldn’t be too surprising. However, it wasn’t just the KarJen fam in attendance. Celebrities such as Hailey Bieber and Ivanka Trump were also in attendance. Furthermore, there were less famous faces who are still just as dear to Kardashian. This included Kardashian’s childhood friends such as Allison Statter.
According to sources who spoke with TMZ, the menu included “Branzino Alla Brace, Gemelli, Melanzane Alla Parmigiana, Pollo Al Mattone, and Mezza Maniche Cacio E Pepe” as the guests enjoyed an Italian-styled menu. It’s said that the aforementioned Statter arranged everything for a wonderful evening.
Away from her birthday celebrations, Kim has also been working for ways to work with her son as a single mom. The latest episode of The Kardashians revealed that following her split from Kanye, Kim Kardashian hired a male nanny for her son, Saint. “It’s really hard for me to be really strict and to discipline a lot. My parents weren’t strict at all and sometimes because I’m really busy, it would be amazing if I had a partner who would tap me out and take over and handle it but, you know, it can’t happen like that. I do think that my household and even our family is very female-dominated. I recently hired a manny [because] I really wanted a male around that would be picking them up and taking them to sports, and I was scared out of my mind to tell their dad that,” Kim explained.
She clarified that while she was scared to tell him, Kanye is fully on board with the idea. “When he was dropping off the kids, Kanye introduced himself. They played two-on-two with Saint and him. He’s been so nice to him, like ‘Hey, if you’re going to help raise my son’ — because he handed him the ball really easily or something — he’s like, ‘Don’t do that, have him get it himself. It’s some of the rules I would want.’ And I was like ‘Oh my God, okay’,” Kim continued.
When Amber Rose was first thrust into the spotlight as Kanye West’s girlfriend, she was in her 20s, and couldn’t possibly predict what the future had in store for her. Since then, she and Ye have obviously gone their separate ways, though that didn’t cause her to run from the rap game entirely. Instead, the blonde beauty began dating Wiz Khalifa, who she now shares a son with, though that romance ultimately didn’t work out either.
For the most part, Rose seems to be comfortable with her single status. Earlier this year she gave several podcast interviews during which she was candid about the unsavoury behaviour men exhibit. Instead, she sticks to taking their money with her thirst traps on OnlyFans and keeping the more intimate details of her romantic life a secret from the world. On Saturday (October 21), the mother of two will be celebrating her 40th birthday, marking yet another major milestone in her life.
Ahead of her weekend celebrations, Rose posted some photos to Instagram on Friday documenting how she spent the last day of this pivotal decade of her life. “The last day of my 30s ,” the content creator wrote in the caption of smiling photos that show her holding up a drink. Rather than rocking her signature shaved head, Amber opted for a long, blonde wig styled in braids, which naturally brought out haters desperate to make comments about colourism.
Now that Amber Rose’s big day is nearly here, we can’t help but wonder if her baby daddy, Wiz Khalifa, has any big plans in store to help her celebrate. The reality starlet went all out for his birthday back in September, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see him return the love to his co-parent.
