Drake And J. Cole’s Bromance Inspired A Fan’s Hilarious ‘Step Brothers’ T-Shirt At The ‘It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What?’

For over a decade now, Drake and J. Cole have dominated the rap game. Along the way, the pair have formed a close friendship outside of their in-booth competition. Now, the “First Person Shooter” rappers are on the road together as part of their collaborative It’s All A Blur Tour — Big As The What?

Fans and ticketholders alike are excited to see the buddies joining forces. But one concertgoers used Drake and J. Cole’s bromance as inspiration for their outfit. In a now-viral video, one supporter sported a customized t-shirt of the musicians’ faces. But the tee was just a normal top, the fan transposed Drake and J. Cole’s faces onto the promotional image for the 2008 movie, Step Brothers, starring Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly.

Immediately after spotting the fan and their shirt from the crowd, Drake couldn’t help but laugh at the hiliarous mashup. What makes it even funnier is Drake’s friendship with Ferrell.

In 2013, during an appearance on Chelsea Lately, Drake spoke about his cameo in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, which starred Ferrell. “I reached out to him [Will] because ‘Anchorman’ was a huge part of my life,” he said. “So I asked him if I could do it and him and [director Adam Kay] were phenomenal about it,” he continued. “They let me be part of the scene, I got to improve, I got to interact with [Christina Applegate] and [Will Ferrell].

When also gushed about being a fan of the film’s predecessor. “I used to have this car that would allow you to play DVDs illegally through the front dash,” he said. “It had a little screen where you could play movies. It would allow me to play movies so I would have ‘Anchorman’ on loop in my car. No music, just like ‘Anchorman’ consistently looping over and over and over. So, people would get in my car and you’d be mid-sex panther scene in ‘Anchorman.’”

‘Step Brothers’ Duo Will Ferrell And John C. Reilly Reunited To Perform ‘Boats ‘N Hoes’ With Snoop Dogg

Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly have starred in some iconic movies together: Talladega Nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby, Step Brothers, and most recently, Holmes & Watson. Step Brothers in particular was a pop culture phenomenon, and one of the film’s most memorable moments remains the song “Boats ‘N Hoes.” All these years later, Ferrell and Reilly haven’t forgotten about the tune: This past weekend, the pair reunited to perform the song with Snoop Dogg.

This went down at the Best Night of Your Life 2 benefit show at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. The trio performed a verse of the song before transitioning into Snoop’s “Gin And Juice.” Ferrell and Reilly then surprised Snoop, whose 52nd birthday was on October 20, with a cake and a singing of “Happy Birthday.”

Snoop, meanwhile, recently spoke about how the last thing he wants to be is the smartest person on his team, saying, “What do I always say, y’all? I want to be the dumbest one on my team. I’ve always said that, I just said that the other night. Because if I’m the dumbest one on the team, I got some bad muthaf*ckas around me!”

Check out Ferrell, Reilly, and Snoop’s performance above.

Snoop later shared a clip of the moment on Instagram. “My brothers surprised me,” he captioned the post. “Will and John.”

Will Ferrell Plays Kanye West & Jay-Z While DJing Frat Party

Will Ferrell’s been a lot of things in his movies: an anchorman, an elf, a step-brother, a racer, a figure skater, and much more. We haven’t seen him play the role of a frat DJ before, but that’s okay: he was saving that performance for the real world. Moreover, the Internet recently went wild over a clip of the Barbie star working the boards at a frat party in California, specifically for the University of Southern California’s (USC) Sigma Alpha Mu chapter (go Sammy!). The institution itself was hosting its Trojan Family Weekend, but he went to one of the fraternity’s extracurricular events to have some fun. Not bad for a controversial fashion designer who once sought to assassinate the Malaysian Prime Minister.

Furthermore, as you can expect for the meme factor, the legendary cowbell player had some heat on his USB. He played Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger,” and most notably, spun Kanye West and Jay-Z’s classic “N***as In Paris.” Given that it contains a sample from Will Ferrell’s film Blades of Glory, it was simply meant to be. It’s no wonder he’s one of hip-hop’s favorite actors, whether due to all the times MCs showed love to him or for his clear proclivity for some party vibes.

Will Ferrell Shows Off His DJ Skills

The 56-year-old looked focused and hilariously committed in sunglasses, a USC jacket, a backwards cap, and his mixing headphones. For those curious, this tailgate was before the university’s football game against the University of Arizona’s Wildcats. Of course, Will Ferrel has strong ties to the institution, graduating from it in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in sports information. His 19-year-old son Magnus currently attends USC as a sophomore, and can be seen behind his “What Is Love”-loving dad in the clip above. We don’t know whether Magnus is a Sammy, but The Other Guy is a Delta Thau Delta brother from his days in USC (we hope they didn’t take his choice personally).

Meanwhile, back in 2017, Megamind made another return to his alma mater as a commencement speaker. In 2018, he and his Wife Viveca Paulin funded the first full scholarship for USC’s female soccer team. What else could the potential John Madden actor do to ball so hard? Drop your theories in the comments and stay posted on HNHH for more big news on Will Ferrell.

Will Ferrell Could Play John Madden In “Madden” Game Biopic

Niche biopics are all the rage right now. For foodies, Hulu is releasing Flamin’ Hot, a film about the, alleged, origins of the Flamin’ Hot Cheeto. Meanwhile, the sneakerheads were treated to Air, starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, which chronicled the origins of the Air Jordan brand. Elsewhere, Taran Egerton headed up Tetris, which chronicled the wild journey that brought the smash-hit video game to the United States.

The football world lost an icon in December 2021 when Hall of Famer John Madden passed away. Not only was Madden a Super Bowl-winning coach, but he also helped spawn the equally iconic Madden video game franchise. That franchise will now be the focus of its own biopic.

According to Deadline, a film about the origins of the Madden video game franchise is in the works. The film reportedly “picks up with the legendarily fiery coach after his exit from the NFL, as he teams with Electronic Arts to become the unlikely co-creator of a pioneering video game franchise.” Furthermore, Will Ferrell will star as Madden. It’s a throwback to a time when Ferrell made a string of sports comedies like Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Blades of Glory, and Semi-Pro. However, the film is not expected to be an outright comedy.

Helming the project is director David O. Russell. Known for hits like Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, and Silver Linings Playbook, Russell’s star has faded in recent years. Amsterdam has gone down as one of the biggest flops of 2022. Furthermore, and more pressingly, Russell has had multiple accusations of abuse and misconduct leveled at him. The film is set to be written by Cambron Clark, a freelance writer for The Onion and Weekend Update. Madden will be making his featuring debut.

50 Cent And Will Ferrell With A Giant Go-Kart At An NBA Game Sounds Like Mad Libs Come To Life, But It Happened

During last night’s (March 6) Indiana Pacers game against the Philadelphia 76ers, 50 Cent was having a blast with Will Ferrell. Before the game, 50 wheeled Ferrell onto the court in a go-kart.

“Big round of applause for Will Ferrell,” the announcer booms in the video, which the rapper uploaded to social media.

However, it seems that the kart was quite heavy, as 50 struggled to push it more than a little bit at a time. To borrow one of the post’s top comments, “If 50 can’t do it, then it can’t be done.”

“Ran into one of my favorite actors Will Ferrell at the game #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi,” Fif wrote in his Instagram caption. “Indiana Pacers vs 76ers first the eagles now this I’m done #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi.”

In the second clip of 50 Cent’s slideshow, he approached Ferrell and the two shared a handshake and a hug — and fans are loving it. “Will is just so damn cool,” one commented on 50’s Instagram post.

“That was so genuine. Will grabbed Fif hand like he was ready to go tell everyone “Hey everyone meet my friend Curtis!” He was too excited. Made me smile,” another added.

Ferrell had already been in Indianapolis to film a documentary, according to HipHopDX. Meanwhile, 50 Cent has a partnership with the Pacers for his alcohol company, Sire Spirits.

Let’s go Pacers!” Heading into the fourth quarter while the game was tied at 114, he added: “What do we think of the Pacers? Sixers? Pacers?” The 76ers ended up winning 147-143.

“Ran into one of my favorite actors Will Ferrell at the game,” 50 captioned the post. Other celebrities at the game included Indianapolis Colts legend Reggie Wayne and current Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr.

Jamie Foxx & Will Ferrell Star In “Strays” Trailer

There have been so many R-rated comedies that follow the “they go on a chaotic journey together” trope. From The Hangover to Bad Moms to Good Boys, it’s all there. However, the R-rated comedy starring talking dogs has never been done before– until now. Will Ferrell and Jamie Foxx reunite on screen for the first time since Get Hard to co-star as dogs in Strays. Ferrell plays Reggie, a poor dog whose owner (Will Forte) mistreats and abandons him.

Reggie, of course, does not realize that his owner is the worst. He loves his owner, Doug, more than anything. He even thinks being taken somewhere and having to find his own way home is a game. So, when he finds himself in the city, he is shocked to hear the truth from his new friends, a group of strays. Apparently, Doug abandoned him. There isn’t much time for the film to go all Homeward Bound. Reggie decides, with the help of his new friends, that he’s going to get rid of the one thing Doug loves. He’s going to bite Doug’s dick off. He is joined on his quest by his fellow strays.

“Strays” Trailer

When Reggie meets his new city stray friends, they get into all kinds of shenanigans. They get drunk and drink beer. When that happens, Bug and Reggie fight other dogs (themselves) that they see in a window. They run through sprinklers and curse up a storm. Bug introduces Reggie to “humping things,” which Reggie does with a garden gnome while the other dogs hump an owl decoration and a fake deer. Bug gets abducted by a hawk. The dogs eat mushrooms and get high as kites. The team go through fields, fairs, trees, and even jail cells to get back to Doug so Reggie can enact his revenge.

One of them is a Boston Terrier named “Bug,” played by Jamie Foxx. The film also stars Isla Fisher as “Maggie,” and Randal Park as “Hunter.” Strays was directed by Josh Greenbaum (Barb And Star Go To Vista Del Mar) and written by Dan Perrault (Players). It was executive produced by Nikki Baida, Shayne Fiske, Douglas C. Merrifield, and Jessica Switch. Strays comes to theaters on June 9.
