Cam’Ron Settles Ben Gordon Beef

Ben Gordon spent 11 seasons in the NBA, retiring in 2015. However, he was detained in December 2022 after reportedly stabbing a number of people with sewing needles. For his podcast, It Is What It Is, Cam’Ron visited the hospital where Gordon was being held. “At 11:15 this morning, former NBA player Ben Gordon was detained and taken to Harlem hospital after witnesses say he was trying to stab random people with sewing needles,” Cam wrote on Instagram alongside the video at the time. This is all speculation at this point. But Ben seems to been having mental health issues for a while. Let’s hope he gets the help he needs,” Cam’Ron wrote on Instagram. More recently, Cam’Ron threatened to get Gordon institutionalized.

After being released in December, Gordon responded to Cam’Ron’s remarks. “Cameras is Cam’ron-ing,” he said. “To think a grown man drove from where he was to come mock — fuck outta here, man. That n-gga silly. Yo look, libel, slander is a real thing, man. My lawyers is lawyering. I know you like to say shit like that. Yeah, my computers is computing, that’s what your shits is doing? Fuck outta here, gang. It was a black-on-black crime that day. Cam’ron, you know, they probably called the police and everything on me … Them boys set me up. The cameras is Camron-ing. Kodak Camron-ing coming soon … I ain’t got nothing to lose. I got paper too, n-gga. Fuck outta here, bum ass n-ggas.”

Cam’Ron Squashes The Beef

Appearing on Good Day New York, Cam’Ron made it clear that he had no bad blood towards Gordon. “So look, let me explain what happened with Ben Gordon,” Cam’ron began. “It’s funny, my brother is over there who started this whole thing. So I did a report on Ben Gordon and I’m not going to talk about Ben — wassup, Ben?.” Furthermore, Cam’Ron continued. “He didn’t like it so much so he tried to get at me so I got back at him. But it’s all fun and games, you know, I love Ben. I got a lot a love for Ben.”

Additionally, Cam’Ron waved off any fears of Gordon’s physical threats. “Ben’s cool. Ben’s my mans,” Cam continued. “It’s all fun and games, at least on my behalf. I think it’s all fun and games. I don’t have a problem with Ben. You gotta ask Ben about the sewing needles. I ain’t have nothing to do with the sewing needles, but as far as I’m concerned, it’s over with. I love Ben Gordon. If he has a problem with me, hopefully we can get on the phone and fix it.” Gordon is yet to comment on Cam’Ron’s comments but it’s clear that the sports personality has no interest in continuing the beef. Cam’ron Threatens To Have Ben Gordon “Institutionalized”

Prior to officially starting his new show It Is What It Is, Cam’ron tried his hand at reporting. His very first report involved former NBA player Ben Gordon, who had just been arrested for allegedly stabbing people with sewing needles. Overall, it was a bizarre story and Cam wanted to get to the bottom of it. He even went to the Harlem hospital to interview people who may have known something. Although some felt he was doing too much, it was cool to see Cam trying out a new profession.

However, Ben Gordon did not take kindly to any of this. While on a podcast called The Jig Is Up, Gordon went in on Cam’ron. In the clip below, he claims to have more money than Cam. Moreover, he believes this is a potential slander case, and also thinks the rapper is corny for reporting on the situation. “Cameras is Cam’ron-ing,” he said. “To think a grown man drove from where he was to come mock — fuck outta here, man. That n***a silly. Yo look, libel slander is a real thing, man. My lawyers is lawyering. I know you like to say shit like that. Yeah, my computers is computing, that’s what your shits is doing? Fuck outta here, gang.”

Cam’ron Vs. Ben Gordon

Subsequently, Cam’ron was made aware of these comments. That immediately led to a strong Instagram post from the Dipset artist. As you can see, he is not taking any of these comments lightly. However, he is still being humorous about it all. For instance, Cam claims to be scared, although the tone in his writing is more or less sarcastic. “Dear Ben Gordon, I like to apologize I didn’t understand my actions when I did that report on you. Im scared at this point because you are giving me male rapist/tommy shepherd/hobo vibes,” he began. “…Im frightened and afraid. I got ya message loud and clear and I will have you institutionalized if necessary. Sorry Ben Ben.”

This looks to be one of those feuds that very few people had on their radar. However, with Cam’ron, you never really know what might be around the corner. Let us know what you think of this beef, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest news and updates from around the sports world.

A former Chicago Bulls star has once again made headlines for the wrong reasons. On Tuesday, Ben Gordon was arrested after reports of “a male acting aggressively and in a bizarre manner” inside of a business in Connecticut. The police subdued Gordon shortly after arriving on the scene. That is when the officers found weapons on Gordon. It has been a tough year for the former Chicago guard. Tuesday’s arrest is the third time in a year that Gordon has been arrested.

Gordon was an instant star for the Bulls. A team who, at the time, was seeking an identity as a franchise. Gordon was part of a stacked backcourt in Chicago. The former UCONN Husky played alongside Kirk Henrich and last played for the team in 2004. Gordon spent eleven seasons in the NBA. Playing for Chicago, Detroit, Charlotte, and Orlando. His last appearance in the NBA was in the 2014-15 season with the Magic. According to the Associated Press report, the incident on Tuesday happened on Gordon’s 40th birthday.

Ben Gordon Facing Charges On 40th Birthday

Gordon’s recent troubles have many thinking about what could have caused this. It is hard to see someone as successful as Gordon fall into such a deep hole. While speculations will surely run rampant. One must hope that Gordon will find help for the issues he currently is dealing with. As for the other two incidents that followed in his arrest. The AP stated, “Gordon was charged with punching his son at New York’s LaGuardia Airport in October. In November, he was charged with a misdemeanor in Chicago for allegedly punching a McDonald’s security guard.”

Cam’ron Reports On Ben Gordon’s Alleged Stabbing Attempts

It looks like Cam’ron is taking his talents to broadcasting. Yesterday, the Dipset leader took to his Instagram account to report on an attempted stabbing in Harlem.

Former NBA star Ben Gordon was reportedly detained by multiple police officers. This came after he was allegedly trying to stab random people with sewing needles. It seems as though the Harlem rapper was one of the first ones on the crime scene. The investigative report is another part of Cam’s It Is What It Is sports show.

Another segment of the show includes him criticizing Ja Morant and Charles Barkley. In a separate episode, he argued why we should never compare Quarterbacks Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers.

Cam’ron Live At The Scene

During his latest report, he shows one of the sewing needles on the ground. The weapon is allegedly one of the needles used in the attempted attack. The report comes complete with video footage of the former six man of the year in the hospital afterwards.

The 46-year-old also interviewed two eyewitnesses on the scene. Both were visually shocked when recounting seeing Gordon on the streets with the weapons. One of the men claims to have approached Gordon to say hi, before police chased and tackled him to the ground.

The former shooting guard played nine years in the NBA. He spent five years with the Chicago Bulls before also playing for the Pistons, Bobcats, Magic and Warriors. Since his last game in the league in 2015, the former third overall draft pick has been in some legal trouble.

In 2017, he was arrested for pulling out a firearm in an apartment building and charged with robbing the manager of the complex that he lived in. Gordon was also arrested in October after witnesses claim he punched his 10-year-old son in the face at LaGuardia Airport.

Furthermore, he was arrested in Chicago just last month for allegedly beating up two security guards at a McDonalds. The mental health of athletes continues to be a topic that isn’t addressed nearly as frequently. Hopefully Gordon is able to get the help that he needs.

Stay tuned to HNHH for the latest updates in this ongoing situation.
