Margot Robbie Shoots Down “Barbie 2” Likelihood

Margot Robbie discussed the possibility of her returning for a sequel to Barbie, making it seem unlikely during a recent interview, as caught by TMZ. When prompted with the idea, she admitted she couldn’t imagine what it would encompass.

In an interview clip posted by the Associated Press, Robbie says: “I think we put everything we had into this one. We didn’t build it to be a trilogy or something. Greta put everything into this movie, so I can’t imagine what would be next.”

It’s not the first time Robbie has addressed the idea. In July, she told TIME: “It could go a million different directions from this point. But I think you fall into a bit of a trap if you try and set up a first movie whilst also planning for sequels.” Geta Gerwig, who co-wrote and directed Barbie, has played coy about the possibility of a second film. Speaking with The New York Times after Barbie hit theaters in July, Gerwig explained her stance. “At this moment, it’s all I’ve got,” Gerwig told the outlet shortly after the film opened. “I feel like that at the end of every movie, like I’ll never have another idea and everything I’ve ever wanted to do, I did. I wouldn’t want to squash anybody else’s dream, but for me, at this moment, I’m at totally zero.”

Margot Robbie On “Barbie 2” Chances

If no Barbie sequel comes to fruition, it’ll undoubtedly be a disappointment to Warner Bros. after the original grossed over $1.4 billion at the global box office. In addition to Robbie, it starred Ryan Gosling, America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, and Will Ferrell. Be on the lookout for further updates on a second Barbie film on HotNewHipHop.

Jaidyn Alexis’ “Barbie” Success Has Her Feeling “Blessed,” E-40 Defends Her Meals For Blueface

Jaidyn Alexis has come a long way since debuting her first single “Stewie” under Blueface’s MILF Music label back in June. As of late, she’s been enjoying the successes of her most recent track “Barbie,” which has managed to make waves since its release last month. The mother of two recently hopped on Twitter to look back at where she first began, celebrating how far she’s come.

“I rode my first pj when I shot barbie now Barbie keep putting me on them,” she wrote earlier this week. “Blessed, protected n focused.” Obviously, her journey hasn’t come without obstacles, as Blueface’s fiancée frequently faces criticism from all angles. Regardless, it’s clear that the 25-year-old doesn’t plan on slowing down, particularly after achieving what she has with “Barbie.”

Jaidyn Alexis Looks Back At How Far She’s Come

Some of the criticism Jaidyn receives on the regular relates to her cooking skills. The father of her children often shows off the meals she prepares for him online, prompting some discussion among users. In the past, she’s been docked for lack of presentation, seasoning, and more. Despite the negative feedback, her fans continue to come to her defense. Many note how her busy lifestyle can be tough to balance. Others argue that there’s nothing wrong with the meals she’s cooking up for her family, as everybody has their own preferences.

One person who’s on Jaidyn’s team these days is none other than E-40, who weighed in on the new rapper’s cuisine in a recent chat with TMZ. According to him, he whips up plenty of “ghetto” meals himself and doesn’t see a problem with what Jaidyn has been coming up with. “What’s wrong with that?” he wondered, looking confused by the prompt.

Karlissa Saffold Recalls Lesbian Days Before Blueface’s Birth, Wants Credit For Jaidyn Alexis’ “Barbie” Song

Jason Lee’s podcast has had a huge year since it launched back in January, from Cardi B giving heartbreaking details about her and Offset finding out about Takeoff’s murder to, more recently, all the baby mama drama that’s been unfolding between Blueface and the two women in his life. First, he and Jaidyn Alexis joined the blogger to discuss their relationship, among other burning topics. Not long after, it was the Baltimore native’s turn to tell her side of the story. Of course, she’s since moved out of the public’s favour after assaulting James Wright Chanel at a concert. Now, it’s Karlissa Saffold who’s in the hot seat. Blue’s mom didn’t hold back when talking about her past, as well as the lives of her potential future daughter-in-laws.

Before she became a mother, Saffold had an adventurous life too. She appeared in some movies throughout her younger days and even experimented with her sexuality. “I’ve been delivered from that,” the 51-year-old told Lee when he asked if she was previously a lesbian or bisexual. “The woman that did my hair today had her ti**ies all out and I had to pray and everything. I’m born again!” Karlissa declared.

She further shocked the host by revealing that she used to date another woman, who’s still her best friend to this day. Interestingly, Saffold’s ex was sitting in the waiting room with her current husband, though she denied ever having a threesome. Elsewhere in their conversation, the Porter family matriarch shared why she thinks she deserves a check from the success of Alexis’ “Barbie” single.

Karlissa Saffold Blasts Jaidyn Alexis’ “Barbie” Performance As Jason Lee Teases Blueface’s Mom’s Interview

Between Blueface’s two baby mamas, it’s never quite clear who Karlissa Saffold is rooting for her son to spend the rest of his life with. We’ve heard her bash both Chrisean Rock and Jaidyn Alexis, though lately, she seems to be rooting for the 23-year-old to reconcile with her baby’s daddy while pushing the “Stewie” rapper out of the picture. After seeing the live show Blue put together for his fiancee this past weekend, Saffold had plenty of thoughts about the future of her potential daughter-in-law’s career, including some ideas about the benefits dance class and other lessons could offer Alexis.

“I know I’m not in the jacuzzi yet, but I just couldn’t wait to get this message off my heart on Sunday morning,” the Porter family matriarch told her Instagram viewers yesterday (November 12). “I just seen Jaidyn Alexis’ performance, and this is gonna be a loving, honest delivery,” Karlissa continued, noting that on another day, in her swimsuit, she might’ve laid into the MILF Music signee harder. “Jonathan, baby! I know you want Jaidyn to gone head and become this fabulous artist. She got a long way to go son,” her rant began.

Blueface’s Mom Offers Jaidyn Alexis Feedback on Recent Show

Saffold didn’t stop there. “You are humiliating and embarrassing her,” Blue’s mom insisted. “You need to give her a few weeks of classes – dance and movement. In the meantime, have your sister, who’s the real artist, get up there and sing that song for you, ‘cuz that’s your song,” she added, furthering the narrative that the 26-year-old wrote the sassy lyrics to “Barbie.”

Ryan Gosling Is Now A Grammy Nominee Thanks To His Smash ‘Barbie’ Hit

ken barbie
warner bros.

It should not be a shock to you that Ryan Gosling is a talented musician, or that the man has a Halloween-themed band called Dead Mans Bones where he sings about death alongside a choir of schoolchildren. The fact that that wasn’t nominated for a Grammy is shocking, but they seem to be making up for it this year by finally recognizing Gosling’s contribution to the music industry and giving him a Grammy nom. He’s come so far.

I’m Just Ken” from Warner Bros smash hit Barbie received a nomination for Best Song Written For Visual Media, along with fellow Barbie nominee Billie Eilish, who also received a nom for “What Was I Made For,” a song that will make you cry no matter where you are or what you are doing. Also nominated are Nicki Minaj, Ice Spice, and Aqua for “Barbie World” and Dua Lipa for “Dance The Night” so Barbie has some stiff competition with herself.

Unfortunately, Gosling did not receive recognition for his cover of “Push” by Matchbox Twenty but there’s always the Kid’s Choice Awards for that one.

Barbie’s director Greta Gerwig told Rolling Stone earlier this year that the track came together organically. “He has a beautiful voice, and he’s a beautiful dancer. We kind of got there organically. I think if I had said, ‘I want you to sing and dance in this movie,’ he would not have necessarily done that for me. But it was kind of that thing of boiling a lobster. I think by the time he was singing and dancing, he didn’t even totally know how we had gotten there. [Laughs] But he’s so fabulous at it.” Pete Davidson was also fabulous at it.

Until the Grammys hold the ceremony where the winners are announced, feel free to watch this video every day.

Blueface Declares Jaidyn Alexis A “Star” After “Barbie” Performance In School Gym

Blueface is putting money behind the mother of his first son’s rap career, somehow proving that Chrisean Rock’s viral success wasn’t necessarily a fluke. The rapper’s fully invested into Jaidyn Alexis’s career as an artist. Her numbers have been steadily growing on YouTube but it’s the single, “Barbie” that has TikTok in a chokehold. Alexis’s latest record, which seemingly contained shots at Chrisean Rock, has now made an impression on the Billboard charts, rising on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 and recently debuting the Emerging Artists charts.

Evidently, Alexis’ latest feat translates to real life. Although she hasn’t been warmly embraced on stage in the past, her recent appearance at a California made it clear that the chart success translates to real life. Blueface and Jaidyn popped out at Santa Fe College during 310babii’s set. However, the response for Jaidyn was quite impressive. The crowd began getting extremely hyped, singing “Barbie” with the Milf Music star word-for-word. “Jaidyn is a super star,” Blueface wrote alongside a video of Jaidyn performing “Barbie.”

Jaidyn Alexis Earns Celebrity Praise

Things only seem to be growing in Jaidyn’s rap career. Following her deal with Columbia Records, she found herself receiving much praise from some prominent figures. Blueface recently listed a number of celebrities who’ve shown their support for Jaidyn in recent months. Artists like Wiz Khalifa, Chloe Bailey, Saucy Santana, BIA, and Yung Miami have shown support, alongside viral figures like Jayda Cheaves, Ari Fletcher, and Natalie Nunn. Evidently, Blueface isn’t as bothered with the attention Jaidyn received as he allegedly did with Chrisean Rock.

Amid their ongoing feud, Blueface seemingly got under Chrisean Rock’s skin. Chrisean responded to Blue with a list of artists she claims he had issues with after they began supporting her. She listed Lil Baby and Rick Ross, who Blue called out publicly, along with Drake, among others. Regardless, it seems that Blueface has positioned Jaidyn Alexis for success. Check out the video of her performance above.

Blueface Thanks Saucy Santana For Boosting Jaidyn Alexis’ Song “Barbie”

Blueface is bringing his MILF Music signee- and mother of his child- Jaidyn Alexis to all the heights that he can. Of course, given all their antics and the scandals they created or were in, focusing on just the music is difficult. That being said, the California rapper recently thanked a fellow MC for showing Alexis some support, and putting people onto a banger without regarding the headlines. Moreover, Saucy Santana recently posted an Instagram Story that showed him turning up to her new song “Barbie” (which released on October 2) during his concert in the video clip. Via Twitter, the “BDD” MC shouted Santana out for making the track connect with a lot of new listeners and fans.

“Fastest growing artist I’ve ever seen,” Blueface began a series of tweets on Sunday (October 15) about Jaidyn Alexis and her brand new single. “I’m impressed my dam self 4 months 4 songs. [medal emoji] [star emoji] [record disk emoji]. My b***h doing better then yo b***h [crying-laughing emoji]. My b***h song playing in every club rn. Big shoutout to saucy santana he put y’all on fr.”

Blueface Appreciates Saucy Santana’s Promo

Last week, Blueface responded to claims that he wrote “Barbie” for Jaidyn Alexis on social media. “Come one, cuh. Y’all really think I wrote that?” he expressed. “I’m a whole [displaying gang sings] out here, cuh. You really think I wrote that? Dead homies? That’s disrespectful, cuh. So, y’all calling a n***a zesty, cuh That’s what y’all saying? Dead homies? School Yard Crip? That n***a that just [fakes pulling out gun, shooting gun, and punching]? The n***a that do all the issues? Y’all calling me zesty, cuh? So, if I wrote them lyrics, that mean I’m zesty?”

Meanwhile, we’ll see whether there are any other big singles to come from any of these artists before 2023 wraps up. It’s wild to look back on everything that these individuals were involved in drama-wise over the past twelve months. Come December, it might be an even wilder retrospective. On that note, stick around on HNHH for the latest on Blueface, Jaidyn Alexis, and Saucy Santana.

Pete Davidson Shades Kanye West In “Barbie”-Inspired “SNL” Skit, Poses With Ice Spice & Speaks On War

Pete Davidson was a staple on the Saturday Night Live stage for the better part of his career, but it wasn’t so long ago that the New Yorker decided to walk away from that world. While he isn’t ready to rejoin the cast quite yet as he continues to prioritize his mental health, Davidson was able to commit to hosting the latest episode, during which he couldn’t resist making a dig at Kanye West. The comedian and rapper previously exchanged heated blows on social media during the former’s brief relationship with Kim Kardashian, which first sparked amid her tumultuous split from Ye.

For one of his skits on Saturday (October 14) evening, the Bodies Bodies Bodies actor channelled his inner Ken to re-imagine a scene from Greta Gerwig’s Barbie. While rewriting the lyrics to “I’m Just Ken,” Davidson managed to perfectly poke fun at his “butthole eyes,” as well as his expansive dating history. Mid-way through the cover, shots at West and the unusual nickname he previously gave his op went out. “People online still call me Skete because I’m a guy whose name I can’t say legally,” he sings before the camera flashes to a photo of the father of four.

Saucy Santana Shows Support For Jaidyn Alexis’ New Song “Barbie”

Saucy Santana, the celebrated rapper known for hits like “Walk,” has once again demonstrated his unwavering support for rising rapper Jaidyn Alexis. In a recent Instagram story video, Santana shared a video of himself joyfully singing along to Jaidyn Alexis’ latest single, “Barbie.” The song has been making its rounds on social media, with commentary on the song being overwhelmingly positive. “I’m a bad lil’ b**ch and I’m snipped like a Barbie. Hips, lips, a**, in a Cartier, I’m his favorite motherf**ker, hello, motherfu**ker,” Saucy sings along to the catchy beat.

This isn’t the first time Santana has publicly shown his appreciation for Jaidyn Alexis, as he previously exhibited similar enthusiasm when her song “Workout” was released. In the ever-evolving world of music, artists often extend their encouragement and admiration to fellow musicians who are making their mark. Jaidyn Alexis, an emerging artist, has been making waves with her recent singles, and Santana’s co-sign undoubtedly adds to her growing fanbase. In other news, one other prominent supporter of Jaidyn’s career is none other than her baby daddy, Blueface. Blueface has been a day one supporter and even recently offered to take her shopping as a result of her hard work. “Whatchu wanna do today girl? Wanna go on a shopping spree?” Alexis replied, “Yeah.” Blueface then said, “Alright, you just keep on selling them records, alright?”

The single “Barbie,” follows a recent string of other Jaidyn’s other recently released tracks such as “Workout,” “Stewie,” and “Post opp.” However, “Barbie” has been under recent social media speculation due to the controversial things she’s rapping about in the song. Some of these things include having taken shots at Blueface’s other baby mother Chrisean. “Can’t keep him with a baby, should’ve asked me / How you movin’ but still can’t outlast me / Cook, clean, f**k, you can’t pass me / I’m in the front now, sis, get the back seat.” Fans think Blueface is writing her lyrics for her, however, he denied that.
