Eminem’s Daughter Reveals Her Baby’s Gender

Eminem’s daughter, Hailie Jade, has revealed she and her husband, Evan McClintock, are expecting a baby boy in 2025. The update comes after Eminem announced that Hailie was pregnant at the end of his new music video for, “Temporary.” In the piece, she hands him a football jersey that reads, “Grandpa,” as well as their sonogram image.

Speaking about the pregnancy during the latest episode of her Just A Little Shady podcast, she said: “We’re so excited, too. When we found out, Evan was like, ‘They’re going to hunt with me. They’re going to go golfing with me. I’ve got a little buddy.’ I was like, ‘Okay well they’re still going to Target with me.’”

During a previous episode of the podcast, Hailie discussed how she hid her pregnancy during her wedding with the help of her best friend, Brittany Ednie. Ednie explained that she ended up having to keep consuming the drinks that had been handed to Hailie. “So she was, you know, grabbing a drink, not consuming the drink as a responsible parent does,” Ednie explained. “Whenever people were turned around, she would hand me her drink, and I would chug so it looked as if she was continuously drinking throughout that night.” Hailie added: “Brittany was taking one for the team. Well, then I’ll defend myself, though, because I never really asked you to do it. It was like an unspoken thing with our eyes.”

Ashanti is now a mother, and she and Nelly couldn’t be happier about the birth of their child, Kareem Kenkaide Haynes. Moreover, she recently shared a lot of details with fans, including an update on her postpartum body. “Four weeks postpartum, you have no idea what this body can do,” she said in an Instagram post while showing off her belly. “Funny how life’s plans aren’t…always on time.. lol. I’ve been waiting to be a mom for a long time now but nothing could prepare me for EVERYTHING motherhood brings! This is what postpartum looks like I’m loving these super cozy @fridamom shorts! I’m so proud of my body for giving me my baby, baby, baby, baby, boy,” she captioned the post.

Furthermore, Ashanti also spoke with Entertainment Tonight with some more insights on her newfound motherhood. “His name is Kareem Kenkaide Haynes,” she relayed. “His dad named him with a lot of pride.” Also, the New York native explained why they paid tribute to her father by making his first name their child’s middle name. “My dad has only girls, so Nelly was just like, ‘I think that would be really, really dope.’ This was all his idea,” she remarked.

“He actually came a little early,” Ashanti said of Kareem’s birth on July 18. “[His] dad had to fly in last minute which was awesome. Just all of these emotions happening at one time, just knowing that this is your person, this is your purpose, this is what it’s supposed to be. And the three of us together, we were all able to hold each other. It was incredible to watch just how confident and gentle and how soothing he is with his son. It was just an amazing, incredible feeling.

“It’s just an immense feeling,” Ashanti continued. “When I look in his eyes, or when I pick him up and I kiss him, it’s an overwhelming feeling of love and admiration and giving. Afterward, he posted a tribute to the couple’s future child in a beautiful post on Instagram while sharing a photo from the performance. “Dear Baby Haynes, you are surrounded by love, by good energy, and by ppl who have prayed for your piece [sic] of mind way before you were born,” he wrote in the caption. “One day I will tell you of the times I got to sing to you while still in your mothers belly, of how your mommy changed my life, and of how your dad was there for me when I needed a little love and guidance. Can’t wait to meet you and make you laugh. Inshallah, Your Uncle Ladi [infinity emoji, heart emoji, baby emoji].”

Ashanti and Nelly first rekindled their romance in 2023 after spending a decade apart. Tommy Richman is on the cusp of an absolute blow-up, and one of the leading factors behind that is his brand-new single, “MILLION DOLLAR BABY.” Moreover, it’s a very creative blend of classic Southern trap stylings and more light and poppy vocal performances and melodic leads. In the case of this particular track, it comments on the slow but steady build-up that the DMV native has experienced over the past few years, which finally seem to have gotten to a boiling point. We’ve previously covered the dual single release of “SOULCRUSHER” and “WHAT DO U LIKE,” plus his appearance on Brent Faiyaz’s recent album, Larger Than Life.

Furthermore, Tommy Richman seems poised to keep expanding on this unique style, and will surely find new ways to tinker with it, capitalize on its best elements, and continue to expand outside of it. We don’t want to put him in a box, but this is definitely a wave that he could ride with ease given the catchy, loose, and above all fun feeling that “MILLION DOLLAR BABY” will give you. Thanks to some occasional and subtle cowbell hits, the sharp snares and hi-hats, and the funky bass patterns, this song is able to make something sound pretty hard and quite sophisticated at the same time. It’s an odd mix that ultimately works to its cheeky benefit, especially with added wailing synths, a very simple lead melody, high-pitched vocals, and background vocal samples.

Skilla Baby To Host Firearm Buy Back Event In Detroit To Combat Gun Violence

Skilla Baby is part of an event this Saturday (February 24) at The Icon in Detroit that is an incredible initiative from a visible entertainment figure. Moreover, he partnered with the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence to host a gun buy back event for folks to receive hundreds of dollars for ridding themselves of their firearms. Not only that, but the “Plate” rapper also worked with local city officials to put this together. The event will also host a job fair for folks with a felony history, record expungement services (with applications here), and driver’s license restoration reviews.

Following the latter’s plea deal in the YSL RICO case, which many took as overt proof of snitching, the former distanced himself considerably. However, the College Park crooner came back, dropped a Gift & a Curse last year, and is forging his new career path largely on his own. On the other hand, his former Atlanta partner has sent not-so-subliminal shots at him and even called him out during live performances. While this has been pretty aggressively anti-Wunna, the DS4EVER artist might be taking the opposite approach.

Furthermore, fans took note of one of Gunna’s opening lines on his brand-new single, “Bittersweet.” “You my dawg, I don’t care if we fall out, I never could diss you,” he raps on the cut, which many fans online interpreted as a message towards Lil Baby. After all, one of his first-ever big hits was the song “My Dawg,” so there’s enough connective tissue and context here to paint Baby as the receptor. It’s been a pretty one-sided beef from the “California Breeze” lyricist against the “fukumean” hitmaker. Maybe this will prompt the reconciliation that so many fans begged for online, and continue to pray for.

Unfortunately for fans of modern trap, it looks like we’ll never get the chance to hear what Drip Hardest would’ve sounded like. Moreover, the tensions between Lil Baby and Gunna ever since the latter’s plea deal in the YSL RICO case continue to become more deeply rooted. For example, one Twitter user noticed that, apparently, Baby hid one of his replies to a post that read the following: “stop dissing Gunna big dawg you breaking my heart.” While this is just social media speculation for the most part, since we’re not ruling out that this could be fabricated, it’s not surprising to hear that the 4PF rapper might not want to give the DS4EVER MC any more free publicity.

However, one important thing to consider here is that this beef stems from a much larger conversation. At the end of the day, multiple YSL members including Young Thug are still fighting for their side of the story in court. Thugger’s father even blasted Lil Baby for continuing to antagonize Gunna throughout this process. “He need to shut the f**k up ’cause he don’t know what’s going on,” Jeffrey Williams Sr. expressed during an interview. “You know he’s going off what he heard. Ask Lil Baby have he ever came to a court date. That’s what I want y’all to ask these goddamn rappers and these bloggers with this whole snitch sh*t.”

He’s now also being accused of fathering a child with model Cierra Nichole. As rumors about his alleged newborn were first circling, Nichole shared a sweet photo of the infant, which also earned a response from Mackey.
