They collaborated over a decade ago on tracks that never were released, but these days, Azealia Banks can’t stand Kanye West. The rapper hasn’t minced words when speaking about the mogul, especially about his marriage to Kim Kardashian. West’s antics have irked millions, especially as he revealed his admiration of Adolf Hitler and spewed anti-Semitic comments.
Banks recently sat down with The Guardian and mentioned the Donda hitmaker, and she didn’t hold back. “I feel like Kanye has made it, so garbage to be an entertainer with any opinion,” said the singer. “If anybody was ever praying for Azealia Banks to finally shut the f*ck up, Kanye has provided the platform.”
Elsewhere, Banks revisited West’s 2020 presidential campaign trail when he held a rally and ranted about abortions. He cried as he spoke about considering an abortion while Kardashian was pregnant with North West.
“You’re a f*cking idiot for basically sacrificing the mental health of your daughter,” said Banks. “Just because you can’t get attention from Kim Kardashian, you turn it on your f*cking daughter. Kanye, you’re an abusive asshole and you’re a p*ssy for picking on that little-ass girl.”
“You are the last person we need to hear from about Black fatherhood and the Black family unit.”
She also claimed that around the time when West and Kardashian first began dating, Ye spoke ill of the reality star.
“It gave me a little bit of glee, because you’re young, and you’re dumb, and you don’t get it yet. When you’re getting all this messaging from hip-hop that you are exactly the type of Black woman that it doesn’t want, and then you meet someone that you like, because the music is so good, and he’s like: ‘I hate this white b*tch’ – you’re like: ‘Yesss!’”
“As time goes on, it’s like: ‘Wait, you hated my Black ass, too! You hate all women!’”
“Kanye, did you know that the Bible was the very book used to enslave your dumb ass? Have you ever read the Bible? I’m sure you haven’t,” Banks added before referencing West’s remarks on Nazis.
“‘Oh, Hitler was a good guy’ – do you think Hitler liked negroes? It’s way past shock culture and just into stupidity. You deserve to reap what you sow. In the future, when you’re walking down Times Square and you see Kanye West drinking flat Sprite out of a McDonald’s cup out of the garbage can, you can bring it all back to this moment.”
Azealia Banks is back in the news making claims about Nicki Minaj’s finances. Banks says that Minaj is attempting to mess up one of her business deals, and that she is “broke” and allegedly pays blogs to make other rappers’ lives difficult.
On Friday, Azalea posted several Instagram Stories where she alleged that the 39-year-old rapper had paid the two bartenders that had sued Cardi B and she also accused her of paying Tasha K to go after Cardi while claiming that she was broke and owed many people.
“Imagine how pissed off @nickiminaj is to have paid 100k+ for them girls lawyers, put them in a video with weirdo tekashi for them to only get $5,000 a pop. Nicki wanted cardi to get hit with a felony and have her passport relinquished so she could no longer travel outside of the country. Imagine the salt on her rim when she pays Tasha k to lie and cardi wins a 4m reward in court. Imagine owing Rushka Bergman money for styling you. Imagine getting told no by @monotofficial then going out to purchase it,” Azalea said.
Azealia Banks also alleged that Nicki Minaj put her hairdresser, presumably Arrogant Tae, on retainer but then asked him to work for free.
“Imagine being so jealous that you put your hairdresser on retainer, telling him he can no longer work with longtime friends, only to turn around and ask him to work for free because ur money is f**ked up an all the barbs and blogs you pay to try and make female rappers lives difficult,” she said.
“Nicki Minaj is Broke like, Broke Broke. Scamming production companies for private jets and rented houses kind of broke,” Banks alleged.
Banks also claimed that Minaj was turned down for other business ventures which allegedly refused to work for her.
“Gossip blogs and this extremely unentertaining Chickenhead media personality doesn’t work. It’s horrible acting sis. Stop yelling into your phone like you have no sense…Queen radio dropped from Apple, you got rejected by Netflix and HBO Max…then tried to give @bronstudios an ultimatum about working with me when chances are they’re probably not even going to release your documentary after how nasty you were to them and how disgusting they all think you are,” Banks wrote.
Azealia Banks also continued with her telling the rapper to go to rehab and claimed that she insinuated that the rapper was addicted to opioids. “you can’t travel to certain countries with those substances. And we don’t wanna see you have a seizure trying to quit opioids without medical assistance.”
No one is safe with it comes to the wrath of Azealia Banks — especially her fellow female rappers. Last month, the Harlem rapper refueled her beef with Nicki Minaj after claiming that the “Super Freaky Girl” rapper was responsible for putting an end to her upcoming reality show. Azealia shared via Instagram that she was supposed to start filming a show with an undisclosed network, “but apparently Nicki gave the network an ultimatum because she knows I’ll have better ratings.”
The “212” rapper went on to unload on Nicki, claiming that the network execs, “all hate her and think she’s ghetto, terrible to work with, overweight and boring.” Though Nicki hasn’t responded to the accusations, Azealia still hasn’t let up on the Queens rapper. On Tuesday (September 27), Banks reignited her feud with Minaj by targeting the 39-year old’s beef with Cardi B. “Nicki is so obsessed with Cardi it’s only making me like cardi more,” Azaelia shared via Instagram.
“Nicki is giving twenty levels of peasy black girl with the burnt perm who is jealous of the Spanish girl that just moved down the block.” The controversial rapper continued on blasting the Barb for relying on “tokenism” to get ahead in the game. “A smart Nicki would have done the cardi, doja, Megan collabs smiled in their faces while safaree worked on her album in the background then came through and dominated. Without showing the world how desperately you’ve relied on tokenism and sabotaging other black female rappers behind the scenes.”
This isn’t the first time AB appeared to be team Cardi. Over the summer, she made headlines for calling the Bronx rapper an industry plant, but later clarified her statement, adding, “But sis took advantage of the opportunity and rode that bi**h the f**K out, assembled the right team, seized the moment and made herself a cultural mainstay. U have to respect it.”
Nicki Minaj has yet to comment on Azealia’s comments. Share your thoughts below.
“Nicki is so obsessed with cardi it’s only making me like cardi more. Like I’m perched for C2…
Nicki is giving twenty levels of peasy black girl with the burnt perm who is jealous of the Spanish girl that just moved down the block.
Anyone who grew up in the hood knows this type of social phenomenon all too well
1st off – cardi is not ugly, and even if she was her actual energy that she emits is 10x more light and positive than whatever this b*tch is giving off.
It’s giving me – sis needs a Dr.Sebi cleanse. All them mucus forming foods (i cant believe anyone still eats crisco in 2022) will REALLY have you pressed.
When you see the Dominicans put that random slice of avocado next to everything that’s what it’s giving — NUTRIENT.
Ain’t you trini sis? Where are your chickpea doubles?
Nicki needs a strawberry nutriment TWO ducolax a f*cking nap
The energy is giving : constipation, regret, low-self-esteem, hood food, grease, drop-top chicken box…
Like highkey these white girls stick the f*ck together… OKAY.
They’re trying to make sure they stay rich and dominate and make the space prime for their daughters, even if they cannot stand one another in real life these white girls really protect their space in pop-culture hard.
A smart Nicki would have done the cardi, doja, Megan collabs smiled in their faces while safaree worked on her album in the background then came through and dominated.
Without showing the world how desperately you’ve relied on tokenism and sabotaging other black female rappers behind the scenes
Like it was an eassssssssy plan but no…
We wanna feed the baby chicken bones Defend white girls in blackface And give sex offender puss
Kodak Black and Azealia Banks’ jaw-dropping posts have had social media on fire all week. Between the voodoo and the controversial opinions, this is a list of why they’d be a match made in heaven. Kodak Black and Azealia Banks could be the perfect pair considering their rambunctious personalities and recent social media posts. From […]
In a series of Instagram Story posts shared last night, Banks says she’s “kind of nauseated by all this name dropping” and accused West of being a culture vulture, writing, “u dead ass stole ur whole interest in fashion from Dee & Ricky. U tried stealing death grips sound and failed miserably… U brought a stolen render of an airplane to the Oval Office. Crackheads had leather jogging pants in 1981. If everyone can just *steal* ur sh*t Maybe it’s time to realize you don’t really HAVE anything. Addidas wasn’t going to make u billionaire and not keep rights to the name of the shoe. Just be realistic and stop trying to paint the white people you traded out plenty of black investors for — for your obsession with white approval.”
She then addressed West’s wealth, continuing:
“Real rich people want no one to know they have money. They’re not interested in fame or celebrity. You’re gonna f*ck around and lose it all again. And let me guess, blame that on racism too? Everytime u wanna brag about being the richest black man in other black mens faces, remember they you will never be the richest MAN , because ur still black [crying laughing emoji]. For every Kanye billionaire west there are 30 richer white billionaires who made their fortunes designing the traps u walk right into.”
Banks also attests that Ye has treated Teyana Taylor poorly, writing, “Please Stop riding white dick and use the same power u used to get that white girl Lana an h&m campaign on Teyana and make her a wealthy black woman? Teyana was ur little boo for a second and she was 19. You made ALOT of promises to that girl but all you’ve done is think I care about ‘fade’ a beat u sent me in 2012 that I told u fierce was better than. When you can be open to urself about how u f*cked teyana over via contract just because Kim was jealous. You will realize that you’ve been so busy criticizing women and STEALING ART FROM EVERYONE, bullying your own daughter… That u deserve to be stolen from.”
In another Story shared hours later, she added, “Rap dudes will always band together in stupidity. As if anyone in the world will boycott adidas because group of men who can’t stop calling themselves ’n****s’ say so. No one boycotted RZA for letting a white dude spit on me, you all actually boycotted me for being a victim! Lol Black women should never stand in solidarity with men who go out of their ways to disrespect black women. If anything it’s great they want to boycott… adidas should replace Kanye with a black female designer. The fact this n**** whines SO much like a damn wet cat is enough to deem all Kanye west fashion projects f*cking lame. Who wants to dress like a crybaby who hasn’t had a hot song in over ten years?”

The fact that Kanye knew since 2018 that addidas took the name ‘Yeezy.’ I know this because when I designed all that sh*t I had to call it ‘yzy’ And is crying now is a beg. I have been begging him to read books since 2011. He refuses.
I’m also really kind of nauseated by all this name dropping. Big deal kanye I know that guys at Anderson Horowitz too can you Please Stop riding white dick and use the same power u used to get that white girl Lana an h&m campaign on Teyana and make her a wealthy black woman?

I also hope you know how insignificant your fortune is on a cultural level : a black man selling sneakers ……. None of the white n****s u dick ride think that is the fortune. It’s a stereotype beyond measure.
You must know, that EVERYTHING is Kanye’s fault.
Like u went bankrupt after watch the throne tour because Jayz had Versace towels and (quite enjoyable — I must say) spread of foods/drinks/merch decor in his green room. While u had chicken bones, empty bottles of henny and variety boxes of wise chips from Costco in ur green room.
You bought a dope fiend AND A DUDE a birkin before I’ve even seen teyana post some flowers from you on her damn birthday. Like you spent teyana’s pr/video budgets on hanging out with a white girl who literally turned around and was proud for ‘hustling you for a USED bag, a wet n wild eyeliner and a hot plate of food,’ [crying laughing emojis].”

Azealia Banks is always up to something. Sometimes she’s causing trouble, like provoking Beyonce fans or roasting Iggy Azalea. Today, though, the rapper took to her Instagram Story, where she often posts, to announce that she has a reality TV show in the making.
“Ok so the Azealia Banks reality tv show is happening,” she wrote. In typical Banks fashion, she then added some humor, writing, “I’m excited. FINALLY people get to see the real me: an asshole.” She may not be the most reliable source, but she sure does seems excited.
Azealia Banks announces she is getting her own reality TV show:
In February, Banks took a moment on social media to share a lengthy message criticizing Kanye West and his treatment of Kim Kardashian. “Y’all are making way too many excuses for Kanye,” she said to begin her message which she posted on her Instagram Story. “This is the second time he has publicly bullied North West. First with the abortion sh*t, and now putting her on blast on his Instagram page as if she’s some sort of criminal.” She continued, “Kanye had no problem with that magazine cover where North had on a f*cking belly top and purple eyeliner with her little buds showing thru the shirt, he thought it was fashion. You all said nothing.”
It’s hard to understand how Azealia Banks’ brain works sometimes. Last week, the rapper and noted provocateur vehemently asked people to stop making mash-ups of her music with Beyoncé’s latest single “Break My Soul.” “Please for the love of God,” she posted on her Instagram Story. “They are horrible.” And look, we’ll give her that. She didn’t ask for her music to be thrust alongside Bey’s. But as we try to make sense of how Banks’ mind works, she was clearly perturbed my these mash-ups for a reason. Today, back on her Instagram story soap box, she went on a tirade accusing Beyoncé of “stealing” from Robin S, and then some.
For posterity, her actual words claimed that Bey, “…is out here pretending to support Black divas with bouquets of wilted flowers after stealing their art, arrogantly assuming they don’t have money for legal counsel… and muscling them into making stock PR statements to cover up this messy album roll out..”
Ok, let’s backtrack for a second. Beyoncé sampled Robin S’ 90s house hit “Show Me Love” on “Break My Soul,” and fully credited her as a songwriter. While Robin S said that she was not contacted ahead of time, she did post a video thanking Beyoncé and her team (including Jay-Z) profusely, saying, “Thank you so much for giving me my flowers while I’m still alive.”
It’s safe to say that Robin S stands to make a dandy sum from royalty checks off of “Break My Soul,” but Banks, who has noted beefs with everyone from Cardi B to Elon Musk, thinks she sees right through Beyoncé’s intent. She suggests that the best way for Beyoncé to repent for this sin of “stealing,” is to provide an, “update on Koi Knowles,” the alleged sister and daughter of Bey’s father, Mathew Knowles. Or as Banks calls her, “…your little sister you think we forgot about?” Here’s Banks’ full post from her Instagram Story:
It’s hard to understand how the two issues are analogous, but it makes sense to Azealia Banks? An hour after calling out Beyoncé, Banks posted a video of her song, “I Rule The World,” on her Instagram, which has been out since February. Just another day for Ms. Banks…
2022 is rapidly shaping up to be the Summer Of Black Dance thanks to new releases from Drake and Beyonce that tapped into the sounds of early and contemporary house music. While Drake shocked the world with the release of his surprise album Honestly, Nevermind, Beyonce brought the energy with her motivational anthem “Break My Soul,” earning approval from house music pioneer Robin S. in the process. This has prompted an ongoing discussion about the role of Black Americans in the creation of house music and related forms and their place in the current subculture.
One of the ways this discussion has manifested itself is in renewed or increased attention to the works of artists in the space like Kaytranada, Leikeli47, Doechii, and Azealia Banks. Some enterprising fans have even taken to creating mashups of “Break My Soul” with songs by Azealia Banks — a time-honored tradition of the dance music scene.
Unfortunately for those fans, Azealia Banks herself is not having it. The outspoken, often controversial Harlem rapper has never been afraid to upset the apple cart or take aim at sacred cows, and despite no cow being more sacred than Beyonce, Banks risked the Beyhive’s ire to demand fans stop mixing the two artists’ music. “Please for the love of God, stop the ‘Break My Soul’ AB mashups,” she wrote in a post on her Instagram Story. “They are horrible.”
For what it’s worth, the main mashup I was able to find online — which added AB’s verses from “F*ck Him All Night” to Beyonce’s new runaway hit — is highly competent and sounds pretty good, but let’s face it: Azealia Banks has always been a bit of a contrarian (he wrote with as much sarcasm as he could muster). Given that her ongoing and growing list of feuds includes Cardi B, Elon Musk, Kanye West, Megan Thee Stallion, and more, it doesn’t seem that Banks has any qualms about adding yet another fan-favorite media personality to that list.
Azealia Banks is usually involved in some sort of beef with somebody, and a couple days ago, she set her sights on Cardi B, calling her an “industry plant,” although she did go on to praise Cardi for how well she has managed her career. So, there’s not really an actual feud here. In fact, Cardi returned the favor by offering some (cautious) praise for Banks, saying she wants to direct a photoshoot with her.
In a recent live broadcast, Cardi said of Banks, “I would love to direct a photoshoot with her, for her, because she’s a very pretty girl and I feel like she gets it. I feel like she gets it, but I feel like nobody… not a good team has had a hand on her. […] I would love to direct a photoshoot for her, but, you know, I’m a little afraid of her [laughs]. She can turn left real quick, but I would love that.”

Banks responded to the video, writing on Twitter, “SIS, come thruuuuu let’s re-do Salchichon one time for THE REAL UPTOWN MAMIS.” She added in another tweet, “I really never actually turn left. I’m really naive and think people have my best interest alot of times , then when my dumbass discovers the person has been actually ki’king in my face .. I gotta roast. Because a lot of ppl think they’re funny but I’m MAD FUNNY.”
