Arsenio Hall Recalls Donald Trump Standing Up To Aubrey O’Day With A “Full Throated” Endorsement Of Diddy

Arsenio Hall alleges Donald Trump once came to Diddy’s defense while speaking with Aubrey O’Day behind the scenes of his reality show, Celebrity Apprentice. O’Day famously accused the Bad Boy mogul of abusive behavior from her time with Danity Kane. Hall recalled the conversation during an interview on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast.

The topic began with Hall discussing Diddy’s infamous parties, explaining that they weren’t all inappropriate. He even revealed that children would sometimes be in attendance. “For instance, you use a person’s home and their family is in the home, so it’s fun, legitimate, 8:00 PM? Lots of food and music,” he said, before adding, “I’ve also seen the ones that last longer than eight or nine.”

From there, he brought up the alleged conversation with Trump and O’Day. “She says some negative things about Diddy, and I’m listening. Trump chimes in and defends Diddy and that surprised me because usually Trump don’t defend nobody but himself,” Hall alleged. “For him to speak up and say, ‘Well, I like him, he’s a good guy. I’ve never had a problem.’ He gives him a full-throated vote of character.” He concluded: “I had no idea one day this was going to play out in real-time. But Trump liked Diddy.”

Aubrey O’Day Says Diddy Suggested She Be ‘Groomed Properly’

Aubrey O’Day on The Crysis Queen Podcast

Aubrey O’Day recalls what it was like working with Diddy. Appearing on the Crysis Queen Podcast, the former Danity Kane member revealed that Diddy felt she needed to be “groomed properly.”

“He’s on camera saying how much he hates it, but he’s off camera telling me all the ways that I needed to be groomed properly,” O’Day said. “I mean, down to my toenails. I was sent out of a studio session one time because my toes weren’t polished properly.”

O’Day also states Diddy would manipulate the group against each other by changing verses and placing who he perceived to be the prettiest members out front.

You can hear it all below.

Aubrey O’Day also released a statement on the arrest of Sean “Diddy” Combs. O’Day told TMZ: “I never thought I would see this day. We all buried this inside of us in order to be able to keep going. And not just me, but victims you don’t even know yet. We are all processing what that type of vindication can actually feel like now. Every conversation I’ve had with victims last night has been beyond moving on all levels.”

In April, Diddy fired back at Aubrey O’Day’s claims against him. O’Day stated Diddy attempted to buy her silence using her publishing.

In response, Diddy’s team told TMZ: “Aubrey O’Day got her big break because Diddy and Bad Boy cast her in their show with her group, Danity Kane. Last year, when he reassigned his portion of the publishing to Bad Boy artists, an unprecedented move within the industry and which he did not have to do, not all artists signed an NDA, contrary to what she claims.”

TMZ reported that last year when the mogul formerly known as Puff Daddy reassigned publishing rights back to Bad Boy artists, it was considered an unprecedented move within an industry known for unfairly withholding pub rights and revenue, and quite frankly, he didn’t need to do, artists were asked to sign NDAs. But O’Day says not all signed the silencing document and did not want parts of Diddy’s NDA to get back her publishing rights, which she contends wasn’t worth much.

O’Day was signed to Bad Boy Records in the 2000s, so she had a front-row seat to who Diddy was during that time. TMZ spoke to her for their new documentary The Downfall of Diddy, premiering on Tubi, which unpacks the Bad Boy CEO’s allegations and ensuing investigation after those major raids that hit his homes in Los Angeles and Miami.

Get this: O’Day claims she had wind of what may have been coming for Diddy as far back as September 2023. See, that’s around the time Diddy made that big announcement that he was giving his former artists (the one’s who are still alive) the rights to their music catalogs.

On the surface, however, left field felt like a generous move. However, according to Aubrey, there were strings attached behind the scenes. Aubrey O’Day claimed Diddy included as part of the deal that artists needed to sign NDAs. This maneuver was designed to silence them from speaking out on their experiences while at Bad Boy, and most certainly in the presence of Sean “Diddy” Combs. Aubrey shut that right on down. She feels her ability to talk about her time during her Bad Boy days is more valuable than what was being offered.

Not to mention, her talking now has been consistent with her energy for years. O’Day has been talking about Diddy’s behavior for a long time, and she has been sounding the alarm. No one was listening until the relatively recent accusations and civil suit brought on by singer Cassy and several others, which Diddy categorically denies even though he settled with Cassy less than 24 hours after the suit became public. And if you think that big to do about the publishing was about real money, think again. At least for O’Day, she contends the amount of cash connected to her publishing rights was disrespectfully low.

Aubrey O’Day Accuses Diddy Of “Grooming” Her Looks Obsessively On “Making The Band”

Aubrey O’Day is still making her disdain for Diddy very clear amid his federal indictment and various lawsuits of misconduct against him. Moreover, she’s choosing to further open up about her experiences as part of Danity Kane and the show Making The Band. According to the Daily Mail, the singer and TV personality appeared on Renee Graziano’s “Crysis Queen” podcast and claimed that the Bad Boy mogul “groomed” her. However, it’s important to note that her explanation refers more literally to the physical act of grooming someone to look a certain way, not sexual grooming to normalize sexual abuse.

“With Diddy, I saw multiple real things, sides of him,” Aubrey O’Day reportedly shared on the podcast. “I don’t know who I was even talking to, who was sober… There was always an element of something going on. He’s on camera saying how much he hates it. Then he’s off camera telling me all the ways that I needed to be groomed properly. Like, down to my toenails. I was sent out of a studio session one time because my toes weren’t polished properly.

“After coming off of Diddy, there’s not many people you can go into a room with and get that type of high from,” Aubrey O’Day continued, claiming that Sean Combs called her “the looker” of Danity Kane. “Grooming is a process, they don’t just abuse you on day one. They make you feel like you get little bits of things that make you attracted and excited and then once they’ve got your attention, they let you know about yourself in different ways. It’s like the military. They break you down and build you back up into the soldier they need you to be for the country they need you to be fighting for.”

These last comments do hint at unverified claims of sexual grooming. Concerning the federal indictment against Diddy for alleged sex trafficking and racketeering, Aubrey O’Day reportedly had this to say. “There is a lot more crazy s**t. As this unfolds, more people will be heard.” Meanwhile, we will see what other responses, allegations, and legal developments emerge next in this saga.

Aubrey O’Day Shares Song She Wrote About Diddy A Decade Ago

Aubrey O’Day has been a very outspoken voice against Diddy even before this wave of hefty allegations, and she recently sought to show it. Moreover, she shared an old 2013 track of hers on social media which talks about her strained relationship with him as a result of her getting fired from Danity Kane and the debacle that ensued. The lyrics touch on “no escape,” dead ends, debt, and the singer wishing that she never got in that situation in the first place. It’s hard to connect all the dots with this brief snippet down below, but it’s still an interesting retrospective.

“The purpose of justice is to provide an ending and allow us the space to create a new chapter,” Aubrey O’Day tweeted after Diddy’s arrest. “Women never get this. I feel validated. Today is a win for women all over the world, not just me. Things are finally changing.” “He did worse than that to me,” she responded to a reporter who noted how folks criticized her for her previous condemnations against him. “And thank you Yashir for this post. Appreciate you being in my corner and believing me. Xo.”

Aubrey O’Day’s Old Diddy Song

“There’s no vindication for anyone to have,” Aubrey O’Day expressed concerning the Diddy and Cassie hotel video. “Sadly, if you’re a victim of anyone at any point in time in life, this will ring true to you: There’s no such thing as vindication. It never goes away. It’s never better. And even when people are exposed, it doesn’t take away the experience. I suppose [being vindicated] gives you more credibility. But if you believe in yourself, anyone else’s belief in you doesn’t really matter much anyway. So, no, I don’t feel that.”

Diddy did not apologize to Cassie,” Aubrey O’Day said of his apology to his former partner. “He apologized to the world for seeing what he did. He says he’s ‘disgusted w himself now, and he was disgusted w himself then’.. but apparently he wasn’t disgusted enough w himself to not PIN this statement out calling her a liar & denying all of it.. leave god and mercy out of this, they aren’t present here, and you know it.”

Aubrey O’Day Celebrates “Win For Women” After Diddy’s Arrest

Aubrey O’Day was ahead of the curve. The singer worked under Diddy for several years as part of the group Danity Kane. Since her time with the group ended, however, O’Day has been one of Diddy’s most vocal critics. She made it very clear that the Bad Boy mogul was far more sinister than his public persona suggested. She has seemingly been proven right, at least in the court of public opinion. Diddy has gone from hip hop icon to disgraced public figure in a matter of months. Diddy was arrested on September 16, and Aubrey O’Day could not have been happier.

The singer took to Twitter to celebrate Diddy’s arrest. “The purpose of justice is to provide an ending and allow us the space to create a new chapter,” she wrote. She also broadened the significance of the Diddy arrest to include all of the mogul’s alleged victims. “Women never get this,” the singer noted. “I feel validated. Today is a win for women all over the world, not just me.” Aubrey O’Day concluded her Twitter statement with an even more optimistic note. “Things are finally changing.”

Aubrey O’Day Felt “Vindicated” For Diddy’s Alleged Victims

Aubrey O’Day has prided herself on speaking out against Diddy over the last decade. She even claimed that the mogul tried to buy her silence by giving her a chance to buy the publishing rights to her music. O’Day recounted the offer during the TMZ documentary The Downfall of Diddy. She claimed that it was less about publishing rights than keeping her from leveling accusations at Diddy and his associates in the future. Aubrey O’Day alleged that the contract she was offered included a “full release against all claims against Diddy and many other players.” Needless to say, she did not sign it.

In fact, Aubrey O’Day predicted that the publishing offer was the quiet before a legal storm. “It asked me to not have access to my experience and my story anymore,” she explained. “Then, I realized something really bad is coming.” The “really bad” is seemingly underway. Diddy has been denied bail, meaning he will be held behind bars until his trial gets underway. If convicted, according to BBC, the mogul will be facing fifteen years to life in prison.

Aubrey O’Day Says She Feels “Validated” After Diddy’s Federal Indictment

Aubrey O’Day says she’s feeling “validated” after authorities arrested Diddy on Monday night on charges of alleged racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. She made the comments on X (formerly Twitter) after the news broke. Diddy intends to plead not guilty, according to his lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, who told reporters outside of the courtroom: “He’s not guilty. He’s innocent of these charges.”

Shortly after the arrest, O’Day wrote: “The purpose of Justice is to provide an ending and allow us the space to create a new chapter. Women never get this. I feel validated. Today is a win for women all over the world, not just me. Things are finally changing.” When reporter Yashar Ali noted that fans have “bullied, terrorized, and threatened” O’Day over the years for vocalizing her claims about Diddy, she responded: “He did worse than that to me. And thank you Yashir for this post. Appreciate you being in my corner and believing me. Xo.”

Diddy’s Lawyer Arrives At Court For His Arraignment

O’Day had worked with Diddy on numerous occasions over the years and previously performed with Danity Kane from 2006-2008, before being fired from the band. After CNN published 2016 footage of the Bad Boy mogul hitting Cassie, earlier this year, O’Day wrote on social media: “Diddy did not apologize to Cassie. He apologized to the world for seeing what he did.”

Aubrey O’Day Felt “No Vindication” After Seeing Diddy’s Abuse Video

Aubrey O’Day says she feels “no vindication” following the release of security footage appearing to show Diddy assaulting Cassie at a hotel back in 2016. She discussed the viral clip during an interview with Page Six at Gurus Magazine’s #30VOICES30DAYS cover launch party on Saturday. O’Day famously signed to Combs’ Bad Boy Records as a member of Danity Kane in the 2000s.

“There’s no vindication for anyone to have,” she told the outlet. “Sadly, if you’re a victim of anyone at any point in time in life, this will ring true to you: There’s no such thing as vindication. It never goes away. It’s never better. And even when people are exposed, it doesn’t take away the experience. I suppose [being vindicated] gives you more credibility. O’Day also theorized that the incident wasn’t the first time Diddy was violent. “Did you watch the video that was released?” she says. “How many more of those do you think there are? Do you think that was the first time that that happened or the first person?” CNN was the first outlet to publish footage of the apparent assault, in which Diddy throws Cassie to the ground and kicks her. In the days after its release, Diddy came forward with an apology video. O’Day also criticized that move on X (formerly Twitter) afterward. “Diddy did not apologize to Cassie. He apologized to the world for seeing what he did,” she wrote at the time.

Cassie originally sued Diddy back in 2023, accusing him of physical abuse, and the two quickly settled the following day. Be on the lookout for further updates on Aubrey O’Day on HotNewHipHop.

Aubrey O’Day Claims To Have More Diddy Stories After Footage Surfaces

The remains of Diddy’s public goodwill crumbled on May 17. Footage was released by CNN that showed the mogul beating up his former girlfriend, Cassie, in a hallway. There’s been a tidal wave of backlash as a result, with artists denouncing Diddy or reaffirming their dislike of the disgraced Bad Boy founder. Aubrey O’Day falls under the latter. The former Danity Kane singer took to social media to voice her support for Cassie, and to assure the public that the footage does not surprise her one bit.

O’Day made her stance against Diddy clear on X (formerly Twitter). She assured her followers that she her heart goes out to Cassie. She also noted that she has yet to fully divulge what she has witnessed with regards to Diddy’s behavior. “The picture is getting a lot more clear for you all I can imagine,” she wrote. “I’ll remind you that i haven’t spoken on my personal experience yet either. Prayers up for all his victims.”

Aubrey O’Day Hasn’t Discussed Her Diddy Experience Yet

Aubrey O’Day by no means wanted to take away from the case at hand. When one user voiced regret over not believing the singer’s claims earlier, O’Day reassured them. “Let’s focus on changing the system now,” she stated. “So no one has enough power to bury or discredit voices.” She went on to like tweets from other fans that supported these perspective. One of the liked tweets read: “I can only imagine what Danity Kane and all the girls and men went through in Making The Band. Thoughts and prayers to you love.”

O’Day has spent years attempting to expose Diddy. She worked closely with the mogul when she was in the group Danity Kane, and made it clear that he was a terror behind closed doors. In the TMZ film TMZ Presents: The Downfall of Diddy, O’Day claimed that she was given a chance to buy her publishing back in exchange for her public silence. “It asked me specifically to stay silent and never speak poorly about a human,” she revealed. “So then I realized, something really bad is coming.” Well, Aubrey O’Day’ instincts proved to be spot on. Something really bad is here.

Diddy Responds to Aubrey O’Day Claiming He Tried to Buy Her Silence

Aubrey O’Day Claims Diddy Wanted to Buy Silence in Exchange for Publishing Rights

Diddy is firing back at Aubrey O’Day’s claims against him. Over the weekend, O’Day stated Diddy attempted to buy her silence using her publishing.

O’Day also appeared in The Downfall of Diddy, a film from TMZ.

In response, Diddy told TMZ: “Aubrey O’Day got her big break because Diddy and Bad Boy cast her in their show with her group, Danity Kane.
