There’s obviously a lot to catch up on like her tumultuous relationship with Diddy and the official split of City Girls as a duo. Still, it’s creating quite a bit of discourse and back-and-forth debates online, which is an outcome that Miami could see happening. “I knew the interview would be 50/50 but I feel good telling my truth!”, she began on X. “I’m about to go outside and have a ball I deserve it see yall later :)”.

She certainly deserves to celebrate, though. Yung Miami’s sit-down with close friend and fellow rapper Saucy Santana has raked in over a million views in just 15 hours on YouTube, which is good enough for #1 on Trending. The rapper is in the midst of her peak, and she’s making it count. Megan Thee Stallion threw an album release party to commemorate her new record, Megan, and she surprised guests by bringing out a live snake. It gets better. The “BOA” rapper decided to handle the snake herself, and show it off to some of her famous friends.

Megan posed with the snake alongside GloRilla and Asian Doll. One of the photographers snapping pics of the event asked what the snake’s name was. Unsurprisingly, Megan Thee Stallion claimed the snake is also named “Megan.” It is promotion for a self-titled album, after all. The decision to bring a snake to the release party makes perfect sense, given the serpent motif that’s been running throughout Megan’s new album. Her lead singles were called “HISS,” “Cobra” and and “BOA.” She laid out her decision to go in a “snake” direction during the Megan teaser. In the teaser, the rapper can be heard saying: “Just as a snake sheds its skin, we must shed our past, over and over again.”

Megan Thee Stallion expanded upon this concept during an interview with L’Officiel USA. She made it clear that she doesn’t condone so-called “snake behavior,” which talks about a lot on the album. She’s using serpent imagery to relay the concept of “renewal and rebirth.” This ambition also aligns with the rapper’s previous comments have having a difficult period in her personal life. Megan Thee Stallion had to contend with public criticism in light of her court battle with Tory Lanez. It was the release, and major success of “HISS,” that restored her confidence. Asian Doll Bombarded With Hate After Rehashing Beef With Foolio After His Untimely Passing

The Florida hip-hop circle and the community at large lost another rapper too soon this past weekend. Foolio became the fatal victim during an “ambush” shooting at a Tampa Holiday Inn, leaving three additional people with injuries. He was celebrating his 26th birthday and it appeared to be a pretty publicly known event, as the MC was making his location quite available online. Lewis Fusco, his lawyer tragically confirmed the news via Instagram and to local news stations in Jacksonville. With so little information about Foolio’s involvement, as well as how sensitive things are right now, Mr. Fusco advised everyone to give his loved ones some space. “We will not be making any additional statements until further notice. “Please respect his family during this difficult time. Rest in peace @julio_foolio”.

Well, that wish is not being respected by fellow rapper from Dallas, Texas, Asian Doll. Prior to Foolio’s, death, him and Doll were beefing, especially around 2021-2022. The former’s presence on social media was one of instigation, and he seemed to start things with the TV star in ’21. Foolio shared a short video around this time in which he said, “Real s***. If somethin’ ever happen to me, bro, don’t be an Asian Doll. If you know what we was on and we didn’t talk like that, don’t be extra. For real. Don’t be on that Asian”. He made that statement after she was grieving the loss of her then boyfriend, King Von. A lot of people online thought Asian Doll was being too dramatic, and Foolio was in that camp, too.
