Megan Thee Stallion Sips From Live Snake-Filled Liquor Bottle In Japan

Megan Thee Stallion has been making her way around Japan in recent days after presenting at the 2024 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, and evidently, it’s been an eye-opening excursion. Aside from serving Tokyo-inspired looks on Instagram, the hitmaker has been trying plenty of new things. Recently, she even sampled some interesting liquor, which was housed in a bottle containing a live snake.

Of course, Meg didn’t go in without a fair amount of hesitation. “What the f*ck,” she said, inspecting the snake in the bottle and shrieking. “Okay… Is this gonna kill me? He’s looking at me!” Eventually, she decided to turn the bottle so the snake wouldn’t be facing her while she tried the drink.

Eventually, she worked up enough courage to take a tiny sip, and immediately looked repulsed. According to her, she wasn’t aware that snakes have a distinctive flavor. “That’s tough,” she said. “That’s strong. I never knew a snake had a taste. That tastes like a snake.” Luckily, after a few moments of disgust and confusion, it seems like the unorthodox beverage grew on Meg. While fans are pretty horrified and grossed out by the clip, they’re glad to see the songstress branching out, and really leaning into her snake era.

Megan Thee Stallion isn’t the only femcee trying new things these days, however. Earlier this week, Cardi B took to TikTok to try out balut, a Filipino delicacy. Unfortunately, her taste taste didn’t go over nearly as well. Despite holding her nose, the “Bodak Yellow” performer promptly spit out the small bite she took. Despite the lack of details, fans were loving the post in the comments section. “The body is bodying, the face is facing, the look is looking, the give is absolutely giving,” one fan wrote. Another added: “The one thing I love about Megan is she never let anybody stop her glow.”

The post comes as Megan is building up for the release of another project. She recently confirmed on LilJuMadeDaBeat’s Instagram Live that she’s working independently of a label. “This part of my album is definitely very much funded by Megan because, you know, we’re trying to get off… Y’all know what’s the tea,” she said. “But I have no label right now, and we’re doing everything funded straight out of Megan Thee Stallion’s pockets. As Entertainment Tonight notes, the “Gimme More” hitmaker’s video begins with a look at the finished product. The camera then cuts to Spears sitting in front of her tattoo artist. She patiently waits for him to finish his artwork, keeping cool from the late summer heatwave with three fans blowing toward her. “My new snake tattoo, I’m so excited guys,” she gushed to the camera.

TSA Stops Passenger With Boa Constrictor In Their Carry On

The Transportation Security Administration says that they stopped a passenger who attempted to bring a massive boa constrictor in their carry-on bag. The incident occurred at the Tampa International Airport last month.

TSA spokesperson Lisa Farbstein explained to CNN that the four-foot-long snake belonged to a woman who claimed it was her “emotional support pet.” Agents detected it while the bag passed through an x-ray machine. The snake, named Bartholomew, was not allowed on the flight.

Farbstein further explained: “TSA notified the airline that the woman (with the carry-on) was ticketed to fly on and the airline did not permit the snake on the plane.”

The organization confirmed the incident in a post on Instagram afterward.

“There’s a danger noodle in that bag… Our officers at Tampa International Airport didn’t find this hyssssssterical!” the TSA wrote in the caption. “Coiled up in a passenger’s carry-on was a 4’ boa constrictor! We really have no adder-ation for discovering any pet going through an x-ray machine. Do you have asp-irations of taking a snake on a plane?”

“Has all this left you wanting to squeeze out more travel answers?” the agency continued. “You can always mamba on over to our friends at AskTSA! They’ll rattle out responses to your questions 7 days a week, from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. (ET).”

Bartholomew is far from the first animal TSA has discovered at an airport. Back in November, they also found a cat in a carry-on at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. TSA agents also found a dog stuffed into a carry-on at Dane County Regional Airport in Madison, Wisconsin in recent months.
