Jamahal Hill is the former, and perhaps future champion of the UFC Light Heavyweight division. Unfortunately, his extracurricular activities at home may soon tarnish his record in the ring. TMZ reports that the UFC legend has been arrested and is currently facing misdemeanor domestic violence charges. Hill, who maintains his innocence, was booked in a Kent County Michigan jail on Monday, November 27, and reportedly released on the same day.

Jamahal Hill Allegedly Assaulted His Brother

Hill and his older brother, James Anthony Hill Jr., were allegedly involved in the incident. Initially reported as a resident or former resident of Jamahal’s Michigan home, James was part of the reported incident which took place on November 27. State prosecutors have charged Jamahal Hill with a single count of misdemeanor aggravated domestic violence. Additionally, the charges claim that the UFC fighter inflicted “serious or aggravated injury” upon James Anthony Jr.

The brothers were embroiled in a series of disputes leading up to the alleged incident. However, some details remain murky and left to rumor. Some disputes involved simple household matters, such as cleaning out a chest freezer in the home’s garage. Other reports suggested the incident occurred following texts and unfavorable comments Jamahal allegedly made about other family members.

The Altercation Allegedly Began Over A Cleaning Dispute

According to court documents regarding the situation, Jamahal Hill tasked his brother with cleaning his home for a price of $300 cash. The cleaning was completed in full, except for the garage freezer. The freezer was apparently full of food which had spoiled when the home went without power, resulting in a foul odor. After arguing about the cleanliness of the house, Jamahal allegedly requested half his money back for a job not finished.

James Anthony Hill Jr. allegedly showed back up to complete the cleaning, only to become embroiled in another argument, regarding a text conversation that took place over Thanksgiving week. As the discussion continued to escalate, the pair allegedly exchanged blows, resulting in James Anthony’s face becoming quite swollen, and losing a tooth. Hill is expected to return to court in January to answer for these charges.

Jamahal Hill Voraciously Denies These Allegations

Hill’s representative from Suckerpunch Entertainment, Brian Butler, has released a statement following the arrest to the MMA community. In the statement, Butler claims “The recent ‘clickbait’ headlines about Jamahal Hill were based on an alleged dispute between him and his older brother.” Butler continued “Jamahal adamantly maintains his innocence and denies the false accusations. We will not be commenting anymore about this until the truth comes out in court.”

This story is sure to develop further in the coming weeks, as the Hill brothers prepare to go to court. UFC reps have not yet made any official changes to Hill’s fight schedule, and are likely waiting for additional information. Rich The Kid Arrested During Bomb Threat In Miami: Report

Rich The Kid recently stayed at the SLS Hotel in South Beach, Miami, where he faced a bizarre and rebellious arrest. Moreover, when he arrived at the building on Sunday night during Art Basel festivities, he found that police surrounded the perimeter, as the responded to an active bomb threat. Thus, no one could enter, and the “Big Pimpin” rapper told officers that he had to reach his hotel room. They maintained that no one could enter while they searched the premises and investigated the threat, and he would have to wait until they finished. But the Queens native wasn’t having it, even after police told him they would arrest him if he tried to get in.

Allegedly, according to what law enforcement told TMZ, he responded to their warning with, “I’ll bond out in 20 minutes.” Then, Rich The Kid went to another corner of the hotel, where the officers he met told him basically the same thing. According to their testimony, he challenged them with, “Stop me,” and jumped the fence. When the “Still Movin’” MC entered SLS, he met a K-9 unit who instructed him to leave, but he refused. Instead, he loitered in the driveway, and police then arrested him and took him in on two misdemeanor charges: trespassing and resisting an officer without violence.

However, this isn’t all that Rich The Kid has to deal with when it comes to being accountable for his actions. During a recent interview with The Shade Room, he reflected on his cheating scandal with fiancée Tori Brixx, for which he had publicly apologized. “I’m fighting for my family,” the 31-year-old shared. “Got to go hard for what you want. She definitely is my family. We been together for, like, six years. I definitely see myself with her for the rest of my life, I’d be a fool to do anything else.”

Meanwhile, the couple came together since then, and seem to be in a much better place. As of writing this article, he doesn’t seem to have addressed this recent arrest on social media. Quando Rondo Arrested On Federal Drug Charges: Report

According to WJCL, the FBI arrested Quando Rondo on federal drug charges on Friday (December 8). Moreover, an agency spokesperson told the outlet that police in Savannah, Georgia– his hometown– pulled over a vehicle at Burroughs Street and 37th Street around midnight. Reports indicate that they only arrested the rapper, who was the passenger, and that this occurred without incident. Rondo, real name Tyquian Bowman, just recently dodged a ban from his home of Chatham County, so this is just the latest in a troublesome and unfortunate series of legal issues for him. Not much else emerged about his current condition or response to this development at press time.

Furthermore, this arrest comes about six months after authorities indicted Quando Rondo and 18 other individuals on state drug and gang charges. Specifically, he faced accusations of violating the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act by allegedly managing the Rollin’ 60’s gang in the area. Not only that, but the Never Broke Again affiliate also received charges for supposedly using communication illegally, as he allegedly used a phone to organize the sale of marijuana. As such, while this case went quiet for a little bit following his release on bond, it seems like prosecutors still want to take it to court with more evidence.

Crip Mac Could Serve 15 Years, Fans Petition For Shorter Sentence

Earlier this week, Crip Mac ran into some unexpected problems during a court appearance. He appeared for charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm, which he was arrested for in September. The judge dropped the charges at a state level, but he was arrested by U.S. Marshals only moments later. Reportedly, his case was moved up to federal court, and he has a hearing scheduled for next week.

His indictment, obtained by Billboard, was eventually unsealed. It allowed fans to glean more insight into his case, and according to No Jumper, things aren’t looking good for the personality. Considering his current charges and record, he could be looking at a minimum of 15 years behind bars.

Crip Mac Hit With Federal Charges

Fans have been understandably upset by this information, and aren’t willing to sit back and watch him go down without a fight. Shortly after news of his arrest began to swirl, a petition was started on Change.org pushing for Crip Mac to receive a lesser sentence. While it’s only been around for roughly a day, it’s already managed to get nearly 10K signatures. Clearly, the LA native has a loyal fanbase, and they don’t want to see him locked up.

Crip Mac’s previous arrests were on attempted second-degree armed robbery, grand theft, and similar gun charges. Speaking to Billboard, defense attorney Curtis Briggs, who is unrelated to Crip Mac’s case, revealed that cases like this are fairly common. “Sometimes, local authorities become frustrated by lenient sentencing for people who are prolific [offenders], so they request the feds review for prosecution,” he described. “This puts more prison time in the discussion.”

Crip Mac Arrested, Faces Federal Gun Charges

When Crip Mac went to Los Angeles County court on Tuesday (December 5), he ran into an unexpected problem. A judge agreed to drop gun charges against him stemming from a September 3 arrest for being a person with felony convictions in possession of a firearm. However, according to Billboard and an alleged indictment and court records, U.S. Marshals arrested N3on’s rival seconds after the judge ruled this. While the state charges were no more, they moved his case up to federal court and the U.S. Attorney’s office. Currently, the South Los Angeles resident and expectant father is reportedly held in pretrial detention, and his next scheduled hearing is set to take place on Monday (December 11).

Furthermore, shortly before the Marshals took Crip Mac in, the court looked at a two-month-old indictment against him. The For The Love Of Lena contestant faced charges of possession of an unregistered weapon and ten rounds of ammunition, which is especially illegal with his history of felony convictions. “Defendant possessed such ammunition knowing that he had previously been convicted of at least one of the following felony crimes,” the indictment read.

Crip Mac’s Gun Charges Move Up To Federal Level

What’s more is that he was also arrested on similar charges in July of 2022 and October of 2021. Crip Mac’s other arrests include for attempted second-degree armed robbery in November of 2017, grand theft in August of 2015, and transportation of a controlled substance in October of 2014. A California attorney unrelated to the No Jumper guest‘s case, spoke to Billboard about how this arrest, moving from state to federal jurisdiction, is common. “Sometimes, local authorities become frustrated by lenient sentencing for people who are prolific [offenders], so they request the feds review for prosecution,” Briggs explained. “This puts more prison time in the discussion.

“The worst case is he gets folded into a larger gang conspiracy and RICO case involving murders,” he continued. “In that case, it’s likely life in prison. It’s possible, depending on the specific facts of his case, he could do 10 years [for just the gun charges]. NBC Miami reports the arrest took place in Plantation, Florida after an officer spotted a black Bentley SUV parked in the roadway. The officer found Kodak Black asleep in the driver’s seat as the scent of cannabis emanated from the car. Police said Kodak Black confirmed that there was cannabis in the vehicle. However, after spotting a Styrofoam cup that reeked of alcohol, police asked Kodak Black to step out of the vehicle. Further investigation led police to discover cannabis-related items, and a suspicious white powder that fell on the ground next to Kodak while he stood in front of the patrol vehicle.

The police report also said that they noticed Kodak had a “mouth full of white powder,” per TMZ. They later saw “several white rock-like objects” which Yak allegedly told them were Percocet. Upon further testing, the white powder was confirmed to be cocaine. Additionally, Black was found in possession of a clear plastic baggie that also underwent testing. Police also towed the Bentley SUV, describing damage to the passenger side door and bumper. “It appeared it was involved in a recent crash,” the report stated.

News of Kodak’s arrest follows weeks of rumors that he’s struggling with substance abuse issues, which arose after he appeared on Drink Champs in October. A few months after his macing drama with Charleston White, Sauce Walka found himself in more trouble. Moreover, authorities arrested him after a high-speed, two-mile police chase, according to FOX 26 Houston, who reportedly obtained legal documents pertaining to this situation. Apparently, the rapper went 130 miles per hour and eventually crashed his car, thus ending the chase, the reasons for which are still unknown as of writing this article. Following this incident early Wednesday morning (December 6), he received charges of evading arrest or detention relating to a motor vehicle, watercraft, or tire deflation device. If the schedules resumes as planned, Albert Walker Mondane will appear in court on Friday (December 8).

Furthermore, we also don’t know whether he sustained any injuries or got medical assistance yet. Given the early nature of this report, we have few guesses as to whether the DAT BOY DEN MC will hold himself accountable for this or if things will turn more complicated. After all, he could fight against this arrest in court, but it seems like there is already some worrisome precedent that could make this tougher for him. Shortly after this arrest occurred, a video emerged on the social media platform, showing him speaking to one of his The Sauce Factory artists in a jail call. “I want to tell all my fans that I appreciate y’all for your care and concern,” Sauce Walka remarked. “I’m good, I’m straight. Furthermore, after police issued a wanted notice for the two suspects, they reportedly turned themselves in, according to TMZ. Apparently, law enforcement sources confirmed that 34-year-old Zachary L. Benton and a 15-year-old male arrived at the Tampa Police Department on Friday night (December 1). Both face charges of felony battery, whereas the 15-year-old faces additionally charges with minor possession of a gun while he wore a mask. Not only that, but this outlet also reports that sources close to Nardo Wick told them that these individuals don’t have a strong relationship with the rapper, but that they’re just friends of friends.
