Most recently, he headlined a show at London’s O2 Arena, sharing an exciting announcement with the crowd. He announced that he’s got a new album on the way, advising listeners to get prepared.

“My album finna drop,” 21 Savage revealed. “So, y’all get ready.” Fans have been waiting for his third album for years now, and it’s safe to say they can’t wait to hear what he has in store for them. This isn’t the first time he’s hinted at an upcoming project this year either. He got followers talking with a cryptic Tweet in August. “It’s time,” he wrote simply, along with a slew of side-eye emojis.

21 Savage Tells Fans To “Get Ready” For New Music

21 Savage didn’t provide the crowd with many more details of the project, thus leaving its release date a mystery. He was just recently spotting filming what appears to be a new music video in Brixton, however, suggesting that it could be just around the corner. He’s yet to drop anything on his own in 2023, but regardless, he’s had quite a year. He teamed up with Drake for the It’s All A Blur tour in support of their joint album, Her Loss, which was wildly successful. The LP also has them in the running for multiple Grammy Awards, including Best Rap Album.

Tracks from Her Loss are nominated for Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, and Best Melodic Rap Performance. He’s nominated once again in the Melodic Rap Performance category for he and Burna Boy’s collab, “Sittin’ on Top of the World.” His Spotify listeners also came through this year, earning him a staggering total of six billion streams. While she failed to specify exactly what she plans on releasing and when, she’s set the bar high. According to the rapper, she’s planning on making a splash with her return, but she needs some space to do so.

“QUIETLY RAISING MY BEAUTIFUL GIRL, PREPARING FOR THE GREATEST COMEBACK IN MUSIC!” she told followers. “HOP OFF MY D*CK!” Listeners haven’t heard a full-length project from the NYC native since her 2008 mixtape, Brooklyn’s Don Diva. Elsewhere in her message, Foxy took the opportunity to clear up some gossip. Namely, a rumor that’s been floating around for some time concerning her relationship with Jay-Z. It’s been speculated that the two of them were romantically involved at some point in the 90s, as they were collaborators as well as close friends. She’s denied this previously, but nonetheless, the rumors continue. “FAKE FAIRYTALE NEWS!” she insisted. “I UNDERSTAND THE VOID I’VE LEFT IN MY ABSENCE. BUT THE FOX & HOV LIES ARE PATHETIC AT THIS POINT!”

Earlier today, Snoop Dogg took to Instagram to share a post that many never thought they would see. “I’m giving up smoke” he captioned the picture, expanding on it in the image itself. “After much consideration & conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time,” text over the picture reads. It’s a pretty scant statement that doesn’t give much explanation as to why. Doja Cat is reportedly dropping something on Monday. However, it’s unclear what that “something” actually will be. The video showed Doja being interviewed by a version of herself with a strange burned face. In the clip, Doja expresses the sentiment that she does indeed care about her fans. However, it is preceded by Doja’s inner voice saying that she hates her fans. While it’s unclear what Doja is putting forward, it’s interesting to see her address her relationship with her fans. As most people know, Doja has a tenuous, at best, relationship with her fans. But it’s not all roses with the announcement.

Because, as is the way with Doja, the announcement video did not come without controversy. Doja’s talk show host persona has been accused of being “blackface”. While it’s meant to be burned or muscular in complexion, it is understandable why some people are viewing it as racist in nature. However, what exactly Doja is dropping is still unknown. Doja Declares “Say So” A “Cash Grab”

Meanwhile, during a recent show in Denver, Doja made a shocking declaration on stage. The rapper called her hit single “Say So” to be a “cash grab”. It’s not the first time that Doja has derided her previous work. “Planet her and hot pink were cash-grabs and yall fell for it.” In a follow-up post, she added: “Now i can go disappear somewhere and touch grass with my loved ones on an island while yall weep for mediocre pop,” the rapper declared on Twitter.

However, “Say So” was certainly a very successful “cash grab”, if that’s what Doja really believes. It picked up both Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance and the 63rd Grammys. Furthermore, it spent one week at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in May of 2020. Despite all this, it’s clear that Doja is not done speaking on her past work.

Fetty Wap Announces New Album “King Zoo”

Fetty Wap’s new LP, King Zoo, is slated for release on November 24 of this year. The album will follow Fetty Wap’s last full-length release, The Butterfly Effect, which he dropped in 2021. 21 Savage, Usher, & More Lead 2023 Soul Train Awards Nominations

Janelle Monáe, 21 Savage, Usher, and more artists are all nominated for awards at this year’s Soul Train Awards. The nominations were announced on Wednesday with BET saying: “This year’s show will reimagine the traditional award show ceremony into a soulful party in Hollywood.” The event will tape from a new, currently undisclosed, location in Los Angeles. The ceremony will then air on Sunday, Nov. 26, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on BET and BET Her.

SZA, Usher, and Summer Walker lead the way with the most nominations, earning nine each. Behind that group is 21 Savage with eight nods. Then come Coco Jones and Victoria Monét with six nominations, followed by Burna Boy, Chris Brown, Janelle Monáe, and October London who all have four nods.

Jeezy Announces New Double Album, “I Might Forgive… But I Don’t Forget”

Jeezy will be dropping a new double album titled, I Might Forgive… But I Don’t Forget, on Friday through his label CTE New World, in partnership with Stem Distribution. He made the announcement in a post on Instagram, on Monday morning. It will be his first solo project since 2020’s The Recession 2. He also shared the tracklist for both efforts in a press release.

When Jeezy made the announcement, his followers were stoked about the new music. One fan commented: “I can tell, This one of them!!!!! What we need.
