The estate of late actor Angus Cloud has been sued by multiple parties over a number of outstanding debts. Plaintiffs include Cloud’s manager Diomi Cordero, who is reportedly owed over $94,000, and Verizon, who is reportedly owed over $4,000. These suits list Cloud’s mother Lisa as the primary defendant as she is the sole executor of her son’s estate.
Cloud died last year as a result of an accidental overdose. Cloud passed away on July 31, less than a week after he buried his father in Ireland. “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways. Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health, and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence,” his family wrote in a statement at the time.
Meanwhile, soon after his death, Cloud’s local community came out to give the actor a moving tribute. Local Oakland artist Darin Balaban teamed up with a group of Cloud’s friends to create a touching tribute to the late actor. Working on the side of a car wash, Balaban created a nine-foot mural inspired by three photos of Cloud provided by his friends. Balaban, who also knew Angus, said that Cloud was “always smiling and calm”. One of Cloud’s best friends Kalani is also an artist and reportedly helped Balaban with the mural.
According to TMZ, the mural painting became something of a community wake. People provided beer and pizza as they swapped stories about Cloud. However, Balaban admitted that he was surprised at how quickly the mural, located at Park and E. 19th, became a gathering place for those looking to mourn.

The update comes after his death was ruled an accidental overdose from “a lethal combination of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and more,” according to TMZ. You’re the best,’” Lisa recalled Cloud saying. “‘I’ll see you in the morning.’” Of the ruling on his death, she added: “It was predominantly the central nervous system depressants. It started to slow his heart and slow his breathing. He got tired from lack of oxygen. Everything just slowed down, and eventually his heart stopped and he went to sleep. But he didn’t kill himself.”

In the wake of his passing, tons of people Cloud has worked with over the years spoke out with tributes for the late actor. Euphoria star Zendaya remarked that Cloud was “like a little brother instantly; ironic because we played characters with the exact opposite dynamic. I’m lucky because I got to experience the most beautiful parts of him. I got to watch him create and I got to watch him discover the fact that he was an actor. A damn good one at that, and as many times as I would tell him or compliment his performance, I don’t think he ever truly believed it.”

He gave and received so much love and support to and from his tribe. His work in euphoria became a lightning rod for his generation and opened up a conversation about compassion, loyalty, acceptance and love.”

Billie Eilish paid tribute to Angus Cloud during her Lollapalooza set, last week, just days after the Euphoria star’s tragic passing. While reflecting on the 25-year-old’s death, Eilish instructed the audience to be grateful for those around them.
“R.I.P. Angus Cloud, everybody,” Eilish told the crowd. “Tell somebody next to you you’re grateful for them,” she added. “I want us all to be grateful and aware of what we have.” Eilish also performed her and Labrinth’s song, “Never Felt So Alone,” which was featured on the soundtrack to Euphoria’s second season.

Zendaya’s character, Rue, visits Fezco and while she is visiting, his associate Mouse comes over. Mouse is there to distribute to Fez but takes an interest in Rue. Fez says Rue is like a sister to him which causes Mouse to treat her in a predatory way. Fez tries to keep the situation as calm as possible as a gun is hidden beside him on the couch. Mouse coaxes Rue to try fentanyl, and she does in hopes he will leave her alone. Fez tells him he doesn’t want Rue to try it, but Mouse ignores him and then forces him to pay for it. Fez remains calm throughout all of this. It’s a moment where his subtle acting adds to the scene’s intensity.
5. Season 2, Episode 3: “Ruminations: Big & Little Bullys”
For many people, this scene from Euphoria with Fez is their favorite due to the creative blend of situational and even physical comedy and irony. Cal, Nate’s Dad, discovers where Fezco lives and parks in front of his house. Ashtray greets him, Fez’s much younger brother, who is holding a shotgun. Cal ends up restrained in a chair and they confront him about why he’s bothering them. Ashtray hits him with the stock of the shotgun multiple times as a result of frustration. Cal thinks Fez has something of his and makes some confessions. Fez shares he genuinely has no idea what Cal is talking about, and their mutual confusion is where the comedy comes in. Fez’s friend Faye reacts to everything in the background, and her commentary adds to the scene’s comedy.
4. Season 1, Episode 7: “The Trials & Tribulations Of Trying To Pee While Depressed”
This scene from Euphoria is a setup for something else that happens with Cloud’s character in our list. Fezco, who works at the gas station, speaks to Nate directly about other events on the show. Nate, as his character often does, tries to take control of the situation and establish dominance. Fez is unphased and reiterates his point by directly saying he will kill Nate if he continues what he’s doing with the other characters. Many viewers praised Fez’s ability to maintain control of the situation while remaining calm and not stooping to Nate’s level. There’s also a small dose of situational comedy and irony, with Fez telling Nate the total for his purchase directly after saying he will kill him.

Viewers of the show celebrated these scenes for how intimate and drama free they were. Dominic Fike reflected on the loss of his Euphoria co-star, Angus Cloud, during a concert in Houston on Tuesday night. In doing so, he recalled how he found out about the 25-year-old’s tragic passing while on his way to a massage.
“I guess I lost a friend of mine recently,” Fike said on stage while strumming his guitar. “He died the other night, which is wild to say because I don’t deal with grief often. I haven’t had a lot of death happen around me, and this was the first time I feel like I knew the person well enough to cry over and feel something. It was weird.”

Fike continued: “I was on my way to get a massage, which sounds so fucking stupid, at the time, and I got this call. And it fucked me up, obviously. I still got the massage. I felt really stupid. He probably would’ve been like, ‘Yeah, go ahead,’ you know? Even this tonight, I was sitting in the green room, and it felt… You know when things just feel trivial? You feel really small, and the timeline gets sort of stretched out.”
“I sometimes look at people like sparks,” Fike went on. “I zoom out, and I think people have wavelengths. If you zoom out far enough, you see some people — probably not a lot of us at all — but I think if you zoomed out millions of miles, you would see this kid’s spark. You could see it from so far away, even if it was a short flash. He would light up a room, any room he walked in. He’s a fucking good dude. I felt stupid coming out here. Like, this is so stupid, doing a show and being happy. But he would’ve wanted me to do that. He would’ve been like, ‘No, do the show, have fun.’”
Cloud’s family announced his passing in a statement on Monday. They explained that he was “intensely struggling” with the loss of his father, who he buried a week prior.
