Pam Grier Shares Her Side Of Snoop Dogg Fainting Story

Earlier this year, Snoop Dogg sat down with Jennifer Hudson on her eponymous TV show. While there he told a story about his awkward first encounter with one of his biggest crushes, actress Pam Grier. The pair first crossed paths on the set of their 2001 film Bones and the first impression Snoop left was a funny one. “I’m sitting down and Pam Grier walk up and she sit right next to me and start talking to me. My heart beating fast. So I’m like, ‘OK. I hear what you saying, Pam. Give me a minute.’ I go to the bathroom and faint,” the rapper revealed.

Now, we’re finally getting to hear Grier’s side of the same hilarious story. She recently stopped by an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, a show notorious for sparking drama. But her response isn’t likely to upset anyone as she mostly just confirmed the story Snoop told. “I knew when it was happening. He was turning pale and he got up and he wobbled to the men’s room. I said, ‘Is he OK?’ He went in and fell down on the pissy floor and fainted,” Grier revealed. “I was so upset that they cleaned him up and brought him back out and we sat together. I didn’t know I had that effect on him. He’s such a lovely person, I just couldn’t imagine him lying in urine,” she continued. Check out the clip of her telling the story below.

Reality Stars Who Sued Bravo TV In Recent Years

Behind the glitz and glamor of Bravo TV’s popular reality shows are a couple of lawsuits. The darker side of reality TV has, on numerous occasions, led several stars to take legal action against the network that catapulted them to fame. Over the years, Bravo has faced its fair share of legal battles with its cast members. From contractual disputes to allegations of harassment and wrongful termination, these lawsuits shed light on the controversies inherent in reality TV. The Real Housewives of New York’s Leah McSweeney is the latest in the number of reality TV stars with lawsuits against Bravo, alongside these others.

NeNe Leakes (The Real Housewives Of Atlanta)

In 2022, NeNe Leakes filed lawsuits against NBCUniversal and Bravo TV. She also filed against executive producer Andy Cohen. Leakes cited a hostile and racially discriminatory working environment as her reasons. After her tenure on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she also claimed that the organization’s corporate hierarchy was deficient in diversity. Therefore, it fostered insensitivity towards individuals of Color. She further stated that the Real Housewives franchise is marked by racial segregation. Finally, she criticized the treatment of diverse cast members on the show. Leakes dismissed the lawsuits later that year, but it remains one of the most popular cases against Bravo.

Caroline Manzo (The Real Housewives Of New Jersey)

In January 2023, reports emerged indicating the departure of Brandi Glanville and Caroline Manzo from Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip. Allegedly, Glanville crossed boundaries at a party by repeatedly kissing Manzo without her consent. Fast forward a year later, and Manzo filed lawsuits against Bravo TV, its personnel, and affiliated companies related to the incident. Manzo’s lawsuit alleges that the network has a practice of providing the Real Housewives cast with alcohol, inducing severe intoxication. Therefore, sexual harassment among cast members was promoted and promised, all purportedly for the sake of ratings.

Mariah Huq (Married To Medicine)

In 2021, Mariah Huq filed a lawsuit against Bravo, alleging discrimination. Moreover, she asserted that the network withheld her due royalties. Huq, who is recognized not only as the leading lady on her reality series but also credited as its creator and an executive producer on Bravo’s official website, took legal action against Purveyors of Pop, Bravo TV, NBC, and Fremantle. In her lawsuit, she contended that they engaged in “illegal and unethical” practices. These included, but were not limited to, violations of contractual agreements. Other practices include harassment and the unauthorized exploitation of Married to Medicine & Married to Medicine: the Series.

Brandi Glanville (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills)

While Brandi Glanville has yet to file a lawsuit against Bravo TV, she did threaten to take legal action against the network and its executive producer, Andy Cohen. Glanville’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, sent a letter to NBC Universal, Shed Media, and Shed’s parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery. It was alleged that Andy Cohen, in an “inebriated” state, had sent her a video message. He reportedly expressed his intention to spend the night with another Bravo star while thinking of her and invited her to witness the encounter via Facetime. The letter further asserted that Glanville felt both “trapped” and “disgusted” by the nature of Cohen’s communication. Following the letter being disclosed, Cohen released a statement clarifying that the video was intended as a joke directed at Glanville.

Leah McSweeney (The Real Housewives Of New York)

Leah McSweeney, a former Real Housewives of New York City cast member, filed lawsuits against Bravo and Andy Cohen. In a strongly worded legal filing, she alleged that the show achieved its highest-ever audience ratings through an infamous episode titled Scary Island. In this episode, one of the stars appeared to exhibit confusion, irrational behavior, and a detachment from reality. She asserted that they deliberately exploited her struggles with alcohol in a calculated effort to turn her suffering into record-breaking ratings. According to Page Six, the network and its producers not only made alcohol available to her but encouraged her to drink. Last year, she sued the network for discrimination.

Andy Cohen Accused Of Sexual Harassment By Brandi Glanville

Andy Cohen is a massive star as it pertains to the reality television world. Overall, he built his empire thanks to The Real Housewives and Watch What Happens Live. Throughout the years, he has had numerous massive stars on his shows. Furthermore, his friendship with Anderson Cooper has certainly helped him out as far as visibility is concerned. Now, however, he is facing some very serious allegations that could put his empire in jeopardy. These allegations are coming from The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills alum, Brandi Glanville.

According to Page Six, her lawyers sent a letter to NBC where they made the allegations against Cohen. In the letter, it claims that Cohen had told her about someone at Bravo that he wanted to sleep with. She claims that he was drunk and that he even said she could watch him sleep with the person, on FaceTime. Interestingly enough, Glanville is facing her own allegations as Caroline Manzo accused her of sexual assault.

Andy Cohen Hit With Serious Allegations

“Mr. Cohen was Ms. Glanville’s boss at the time and exercised complete and total control over her career,” the letter explains. “This was an extraordinary abuse of power that left Ms. Glanville feeling trapped and disgusted. It is inconceivable that Mr. Cohen remains in his post in spite of this behavior and harkens back to the bad old days of Matt Lauer and NBC News when profits were prioritized over people.” It remains to be seen what will happen to Cohen in light of this lawsuit. Overall, this could turn out to be a massive scandal for the network. However, this is still the early stages of the complaint.

Cardi B’s promo appearances for her new Megan Thee Stallion collab single “Bongos” has been absolutely relentless so far. Her latest appearance, on Andy Cohen’s show Watch What Happens Live, also gave fans some insight into her next career moves. So, I want to make sure it is the greatest song. But I would love, love, love to do a song with Lil Kim. I love her. And not because she’s Lil Kim, but because she’s such a nice person.”

Cardi B Shared An Update About Her Long-Awaited Sophomore Album’s Release Date And Touring Details With Andy Cohen

In the past, talking about her highly-anticipated sophomore album in public would invocate extreme anxiety for Cardi B. However, with the release of her latest single, “Bongos” with Megan Thee Stallion, she’s increasingly becoming more confident.

Today (September 11), during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Cardi B even shared another nugget of information regarding the forthcoming project. When asked about future touring plans by the host and when her album would be made available to the public, Cardi gave a direct answer.

“[I will tour] as soon as I finish my album,” shared Cardi. She later added, “The album will be done this year. And it will be put out next year.”

This may not be the detailed response most fans are looking for, but it sure beats nothing. When the show opened the line for viewers to call in, another caller inquired about Cardi’s long-teased collaboration with rap legend Lil Kim.

“I really do want [a collaboration with Lil Kim]. I’m going through the songs on my album right now… I want us to have such a great, undeniable song because I know people are going to judge it and be so harsh of it. So, I want to make sure it is the greatest song. But I would love, love, love to do a song with Lil Kim. I love her. And not because she’s Lil Kim but because she’s such a nice person,” said Cardi.

Cardi B is set to perform at the 2023 VMAs tomorrow (September 12). Who knows, maybe she will share another album announcement onstage.

Cardi B is a Warner Music artist. Megan Thee Stallion is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

Andy Cohen Reveals Wendy Williams Wanted To Join “RHONY” Cast

Andy Cohen says that Wendy Williams asked to join the cast of The Real Housewives of New York City back in May 2022. He explained why he decided to turn down the request during a section of his new memoir, The Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up. Cohen says that appearing on the show wouldn’t have been good for Williams. She had been struggling with her mental health at the time.

“Had this call come a year earlier, it would’ve been a brilliant idea,” Cohen wrote. “If she is struggling with mental health issues, though, this isn’t the time. Her enthusiasm was infectious, though when I was explaining the idea of Legacy and the brand-new show, she just wanted to focus on the last version. So the conversation didn’t go anywhere.”

In the past, Williams has publically shot down having any interest in ever appearing on RHONY. “No, I won’t be a member of The Real Housewives of New York City,” Wendy said on her talk show in July 2019. “First off, you’re not coming to my apartment. You’re not checking out who I date. There would be so many no no nos that you would be bored with me.”

Williams’ rep, Shawn Zanotti, recently confirmed that her client is back to filming. “After taking a long break, Wendy feels some of the best days of her life were in media,” she said. “She has been in media since her early 20’s and wants to return to what she loves…Yes, Wendy is filming…Yes, she is gearing up for something and the specifics of that can’t be disclosed as of yet.”

Elsewhere in the book, Cohen reflects on his drunken rant about Bill de Blasio on CNN’s New Year’s Eve show, dissing Ryan Seacrest, his son Ben and daughter Lucy, and much more.

Oy Vey! Snoop Dogg Confessed On CNN About The Time He Got High At A Bar Mitzvah

On New Year’s Eve, CNN’s Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper had to ring in the New Year on-air stone-cold sober. It was a departure from their hi-jinks of years past, so Cohen and Cooper did the next best thing, and brought on a guest who you can pretty much guarantee won’t be sober at any point in time: Snoop Dogg.

Cohen and Cooper had some fun grilling Snoop Dogg about some of the more unpredictable places that he’s gotten high at and the rapper of course had checked a lot of boxes. “Have you gotten high at a bar mitzvah?,” Cohen asked Snoop, who answered, “You wouldn’t believe me if I told you, but that answer is gonna be yes, yes, yes!” Cohen surmised that a rich parent paid Snoop to perform for their kid and Snoop confirmed that was pretty much the case. “He told me to ‘Do whatever you want to do!’”

Anderson Cooper couldn’t stop laughing at how ridiculous this on-air conversation was. “Where am I? Where Am I?!” Cooper asked. Cohen kept the game with Snoop Dogg going, asking him if he’d gotten high at an NFL football game. To which Snoop replied, “Yes, yes yes. And I almost got thrown out!” Snoop also copped to toking up at multiple awards shows, but not the Oscars, since he’s never been before. “If I do go, you better know that I will,” he said. And that while he’d never smoked weed on CNN before, he’d done so, “In front of the CNN building on Sunset Boulevard.”

Sounds like Snoop still has some spots to go on his hitlist, but until then, we’ll be waiting for him to post a clip of that “Up In Smoke Bar Mitzvah” someday.

Nick Cannon Expertly Claps Back At Andy Cohen’s Vasectomy Inquiry: Watch

Nick Cannon’s large blended family sparks no shortage of conversation in the media. By now, the father of 12 has undeniably become a pro at defending his decisions. Last night, he did just that while chatting with hosts Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper on their New Year’s Eve Live show from Times Square.

The Bravo icon asked the recording artist about his “endgame” on his apparent “single-[handed]” quest to “[repopulate] the Earth.” He asked Cannon, “What is your plan?”

In response, the California native said, “Clearly, I don’t have a plan. Honestly, man, it’s just so much joy and elation that I have. The family that I have, I embrace it. I love it, and I don’t have a plan. That should have been clear from the jump.”

Cohen couldn’t help but retort with an inquiry that’s been on the minds of many as of late. “A vasectomy?” he teased. “Is that what you want me to get?” Cannon clapped back. “It’s my body, my choice.”

Turning the conversation back to a lighter topic, Cooper jumped in and asked the 42-year-old for any fatherly advice for new dads out there. He happily obliged, encouraging them to, “just operate out of love.”

“I mean some people may say that’s what got us here in the first place, but that’s what I would always do, and always do it with a smile,” he went on.

As far as New Year’s resolutions go, Cannon says he doesn’t specifically have any. “Like I said, I’m just so happy for health, and want to continue to be as healthy and filled with as much gratitude as possible for the next year,” he told Cohen and Cooper.

As TMZ notes, The Masked Singer host welcomed a total of five children in 2022. He and Bre Tiesi had their first, Legendary, in June. Afterward, LaNisha Cole welcomed baby Onyx, and Brittany Bell delivered Rise Messiah.

Additionally, Abby Da La Rosa gave birth to Zeppelin, a baby girl in recent weeks. His latest arrival, though, is Halo, who was born to Alyssa Scott after the death of their son Zen. Read more about the new baby here, and check back later for more pop culture updates.
