Master P Calls to “Free Mystikal!” Amid Rape Charge

Master P showed support for fellow rapper Mystikal on Saturday, who has been indicted with a first-degree rape charge. During his performance at the Lovers & Friends festival in Las Vegas, Master P shouted “Free Mystikal!” to his audience. He also told fans to “get [their] hands up for [his] dawg.” He went on to further show his support, playing Mystikal’s tracks “Here I Go” and “Shake Ya Ass.” Master P’s hot take has garnered some negative attention on Twitter. Many feel as though he’s is in the wrong for showing support for the rapper who has faced several sexual assault allegations in the past.

Arrested at the end of July 2022, Mystikal is now in custody with no possibility of bail. He was booked and charged with three misdemeanors, including false imprisonment, criminal damage to property worth less than $1,000, and prohibited acts of drug paraphernalia. The alleged victim of the rapper claims that she was imprisoned in his home after he took her car keys. He also allegedly punched the woman and pulled out her hair. She alleges that Mystikal also made her pray with him and then splashed her with rubbing alcohol to rid her of “bad spirits” prior to the alleged rape. The events allegedly took place after he accused her of stealing $100 from him. The woman later escaped and was able to get to a hospital to receive treatment and call the police. She suffered minor injuries consistent with rape.

Mystikal Faces Life In Prison

Mystikal’s defense has called the charges he now faces “immaterial, impertinent and scandalous.” He requested bond in October, which he has not received. His defense later filed a motion for a gag order, citing an “inordinate amount of publicity.”

If convicted, Mystikal will serve life in prison under state law. Mystikal has been previously convicted, having served six years in prison for sexual battery in 2004. After being released in 2010, the artist became a registered sex offender in Louisiana. Shortly after his release, he was additionally charged with domestic battery, and again in 2017 for alleged rape and kidnapping. The case came about after his former hair stylist came forward and alleged that he made her perform sexual acts with him. Charges for this 2017 case were later dropped due to a lack of evidence. On top of his current charges, the rapper is facing five separate drug charges as well.

Chris Brown Still Performs At Usher’s Lovers & Friends Festival After Alleged Fight

The more we hear from Chris Brown and Usher, the more people are skeptical on whether or not they fought. Moreover, Usher’s Lovers & Friends Festival recently took place just a day after Brown and his crew allegedly jumped his fellow R&B star, which sent fans into a social media frenzy. For one, people know that the two have a pretty close relationship and show each other love, so this was surprising from the jump. However, many also pointed out the “Yeah 3x” singer’s history of alleged brawls and other controversies, placing blame solely on him for this incident. Still, at least from what the stage indicates, they are both fine.

Not only did Usher perform at the festival as originally expected, but Chris Brown also put on quite the show at the Las Vegas festival. Performing through some of his biggest hits and bringing out special guests like Tyga, it seems like the whole alleged altercation between them went unaddressed from both parties. Despite every publication reporting on their supposed brawl, one would think that the Confessions star wouldn’t allow his assailant to perform at his festival. As such, either it didn’t happen at all or he just didn’t get it done in time.

Brown then told Taylor to leave the party, and a verbal altercation between the two ensued. Reportedly, that’s when Usher stepped in to ease tensions and allegedly caught a bloody nose as a result.

Apparently, Chris Brown’s 34th birthday bash ended with violence, at least according to various online sources. Moreover, the R&B singer and his crew allegedly jumped Usher at the event, which is shocking considering their close relationship. While this story is unconfirmed and still mostly the result of gossip and speculation, there’s been no shortage of reports on it from all angles. Even though some people won’t believe it until they see video evidence, most others are wondering what went down. From what these stories indicate, it wasn’t a matter of personal beef but rather the result of defending a victim of Brown’s actions.

To elaborate, Usher threw Chris Brown a skate party for his big day, which also included guests like Mario, Bow Wow, and many more. However, at a certain point of the night, reportedly things got pretty heated as Brown was quite drunk. Not only that, but he was apparently being disrespectful to Teyana Taylor, approaching her in an intoxicated manner. Then, reports allege, multiple people got involved in the argument, and it’s unclear what disrespect he directed at her.

It was at that moment where sources say Brown and his entourage attacked Usher. Not only that, but it was apparently so bad that the singer got a bloody nose.

Latto Denies Coachella Crowd Photoshop Allegations

Latto gave what’s been labelled as undoubtedly one of the most exciting performances at Coachella weekend one on Sunday (April 16). Still, that hasn’t stopped haters from trying to find any possible flaws. On Monday, the reality star celebrated her major W with a photo dump shared on Twitter. It consists of selfies, snapshots of her outfit, and finally, an enormous crowd watching on as she stood in front of them. Not long after her post went up, Latto was hit with zoomed in screenshots of the bottom right image. Upon inspection, some are accusing her of photoshopping it to make the audience at her show look bigger.

“That crowd tho! Wow. Goals 🙏,” one person wrote along with receipts that show them same face in the crowd twice. This hate train isn’t as massive as others Latto has conquered as of late. However, it’s likely exhausting for her to take on such constant criticism nonetheless. Thankfully, the 24-year-old is an undeniably resiliant spirit, and often addresses the gossip circulating about her online with a tough attitude. Lil Dicky Reflects On Chris Brown Collaboration: “I Know That My Heart Is Good”

Lil Dicky says that he has no regrets regarding his 2018 song “Freaky Friday,” on which he collaborated with Chris Brown. Brown has faced many allegations of misconduct and abuse over the years. Dicky discussed their work together during a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

He explained that he knew he wanted a celebrity for the music video, but didn’t have “infinite relationships back then.” Dicky then explained that he came to meet Brown at a celebrity basketball game. “He walks right up to me, and he says, ‘Hey man, I just want you to know, you’re an incredible rapper.’ And Chris Brown was my ringtone in the ninth grade, and it was just a very meaningful thing for someone to say to me at that time, and we kept in touch, and then we made that song, and I love that song. I still love that song. It went to No. 1 in multiple nations, and without that song, I don’t know that I could have made [a charity single] like ‘Earth,’ where I raised, like, $3 million [to fight against climate change].”

After a pause, Dick then reaffirmed: “I know that my heart is good. I really do. I don’t lose sleep at night about my heart. And you can never be perfect, and sometimes I’ll still be dumb and unaware, but I really do care so much about doing the right thing.” He then concluded: “And listen, I get why someone wouldn’t like a Lil Dicky song, but I’d never be ok with someone being like, ‘That guy’s an asshole,’ or ‘That guy’s a piece of sh*t.’ I’ve never had that experience as Dave Burd, the man, so for my art to cause that reaction, my God, it really hurts me.”

Dicky isn’t the only artist to face backlash for working with Brown. Chlöe Bailey was recently asked about her decision to work with the singer during an interview with V-103 Atlanta’s The Big Tigger Morning Show. She remarked, “People have every right to their opinions, freedom of speech, and it’s up to me to choose what I give my attention and energy to.”

Since that time, Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan have been arrested for allegedly engaging in sex trafficking. The two are still in prison and are awaiting trial. They have tried to be released on numerous occasions, however, Romanian authorities are refusing to let them go. In the aftermath of all this, Tate has been the subject of numerous satirizations. For the most part, this has come from YouTubers and social media stars. Now, Tate is being parodied by the likes of South Park.

In the video above, shared by DJ Akademiks, there is a scene in the show where the cops come in to arrest some characters. That is when Andrew Tate bursts into the scene and begins blasting. One of the cops sees Tate and says “that’s that Romanian Sex Trafficker.” Of course, these are simply allegations, however, you can’t expect South Park to honor the legalese of the situation. At the end of the day, Trey Parker and Matt Stone like to take shots at people, and that is exactly what they did here. It was only a matter of time before it happened.
