Dr Dre Accuses Divorce Counseler Of Sabotaging His Relationship With Son

Earlier this week, Dr Dre was hit with a $10 million lawsuit from his former psychiatrist, Dr. Charles Sophy. Sophy worked alongside Dre and his ex-wife Nicole Young throughout the process of their 2021 divorce. Unfortunately, however, things allegedly got ugly. Sophy accuses Dre of subjecting him to an “ongoing barrage of threats,” and more.

“Rather than treating the mediation process as an opportunity for healing, he decided to take his frustrations about the mediation out on Dr. Sophy — frustrations that manifested themselves in the form of a nearly year-long sustained campaign of late-night texts, threats of intimidation and violence, and homophobic rhetoric,” Sophy’s lawyer Christopher Frost alleges, per Billboard.

Now, according to TMZ, he has clapped back. In a letter obtained by the outlet, which was sent in February of 2023, the artist’s lawyer Howard King accuses Sophy of malpractice and of sabotaging his relationship with his son. He alleged that Sophy “slandered” him “in a malicious effort to convince his son to turn against him.” King argues that this was allegedly done to give Dre’s ex an advantage in the divorce.

In addition to $10 million in damages, Sophy has requested a restraining order against Dr Dre. The lawsuit cites Dre’s alleged “history of violence and abuse.” It even states that Dre once allegedly sent fake FBI agents to Sophy’s house “to threaten his physical safety.” What do you think of Dr Dre’s response to Dr. Charles Sophy’s $10 million lawsuit? Kanye West Sued By Man He Allegedly Hired To Investigate Bianca Censori & The Kardashians

Kanye West has faced no shortage of legal issues in the past, and now, he’s been hit with yet another lawsuit. This time, an anonymous man claiming to be his former “Director of Intelligence” is suing him for allegedly failing to pay him and allegedly inflicting emotional distress. The lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, alleges that the man was initially hired to be Ye’s campaign manager for his presidential run. Eventually, however, his role allegedly changed.

He alleges that he was responsible for handling NDAs, and even investigating his wife Bianca Censori and the Kardashians. Allegedly, he’d have the man “tail” Censori without her knowledge during solo trips. This allegedly included the times she’d visit her family in Australia. The man did not specify why he was allegedly ordered to follow Censori.

As for Ye’s former in-laws, however, he had a pretty shocking reason for allegedly having them investigated. The man accuses Ye of having him look into the Kardashians’ alleged “criminal links,” and of believing they took part in alleged “sex trafficking.” He claims their relationship took a turn for the worse when he shared alleged complaints from a former Donda Academy staff member. According to him, the staff member had alleged that students were being abused at the school.

Allegedly, when he shared this with Ye, he was yelled at, cursed at, and threatened with “great bodily harm.” After the alleged confrontation, the man even accused members of Ye’s team of sending him threats. Allegedly, this triggered PTSD he has from serving in the military. The man is reportedly seeking unspecified damages, and Ye has yet to respond to the suit. Chris Brown Accuser Reveals Identity Ahead Of New Documentary

Later this month, Investigation Discovery is scheduled to release a new documentary, Chris Brown: A History of Violence. The doc will go over the R&B artist’s past, which is filled with allegations of domestic violence, assault, and more. It will also delve into some of his alleged victims’ experiences, the lasting impact of his alleged abuse, and more.

A new accuser appeared in a trailer for the documentary, though her identity was hidden. Now, she’s come forward to reveal herself on Instagram. In a lengthy post, Liziane Gutierrez announces her participation in the doc, some of the criticism she’s previously faced for sharing her story, and more. “Lier, clout chaser, ridiculous are just same of the things I have heard over the years since I decided to tell what happened to me. I’m not sure if Im psychologically ready to face the consequences of appearing in this documentary including financial consequences since I signed a non disclosure agreement,” she alleged.

Despite this, Gutierrez says she feels a responsibility to speak up. “Several women agreed to participate and share their stories. We all went through a similar situation. We cant be against domestic violence and simply ignore some cases or even worse blame the victim,” she alleged. Chris Brown: A History of Violence will air on ID on October 27, according to Variety. Immediately after the doc, Sunny Hostin will lead a discussion about intimate partner violence.

Yung Filly Hit With Sexual Assault Charges Over Alleged Incident In Australia

UK rapper and YouTuber Yung Filly received sexual assault charges for an alleged Perth, Australia incident following a Tuesday (October 8) arrest, according to local news reports per AllHipHop. Authorities apprehended him in Brisbane on Tuesday and extradited him to Perth the next day. Filly, real name Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, was hit with accusations of allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s in his hotel in Perth on September 28 after a show in the area the previous day. The 29-year-old went on Thursday (October 10) to Perth Magistrates Court and received the following charges: three counts of alleged assault causing bodily harm, four counts of alleged sexual penetration without consent and one count of allegedly impeding someone’s normal breathing or blood circulation through pressure to the neck.

“WA Police Sex Assault Squad detectives will allege on Saturday 28 September 2024, the man sexually assaulted a woman in her 20s, in his Perth hotel room after he had performed at a venue in Hillarys,” the Western Australia Police stated concerning Yung Filly’s allegations. “This investigation is ongoing and Sex Assault Squad detectives urge anyone with information relating to this matter, or any similar incidents, to call Crime Stoppers.”

Furthermore, at Yung Filly’s bail hearing later on Thursday, Magistrate Tanya Watt granted him bail, according to ABC News in Australia. She disagreed with prosecutors that the court couldn’t adequately account for his flight risk and witness interference potential. However, Watt granted Filly bail under strict conditions that ban him from contacting his alleged victim and posting about the case online. In addition, he is to remain in Western Australia, file daily status reports with local police, and cough up a $100,000 surety.

Meanwhile, various fans went to Yung Filly’s court proceedings, telling ABC News that they wanted to hear the allegations for themselves. Prosecutors also showed publicly undisclosed photos of the alleged incident to the magistrate, which they claim prove that any alleged sexual activity couldn’t have been consensual. On the other hand, Filly’s defense opposed an outright social media ban and requested that the court not publicly discuss the material facts of the case in order to not risk his right to a fair trial.

FBG Duck’s Mother Sues Lil Durk, King Von’s Estate, & Several Record Labels Over Son’s 2020 Killing

FBG Duck’s mother, LaSheena Weekly, and two surviving bystanders of the 2020 attack on the late rapper have filed a lawsuit against Lil Durk, Only The Family Entertainment (OTF), several other record labels, and even the City of Chicago. They reference allegations of wrongful death, civil conspiracy, negligence, and failure to render aid.

In a press release put out by The Dinizulu Law Group, they accuse Lil Durk, King Von, and their associates of allegedly engaging in a conspiracy to murder Duck and placing a $100,000 bounty on his life. “Lil Durk…engag[ed] in, plann[ed], approv[ed] the bounty on FBG Duck’s life and condon[ed] the acts of violence King Von engaged when he knew or should have known of the violent conduct, and violent histories of King Von and other known gang members he affiliated [with],” the filing alleges, as caught by HipHopDX. “Lil Durk knew long before 2020 that King Von had a vendetta against FBG Duck, sought to rob and kill in the music industry, and consistently sought to build a brand of violence and reality rap based on committing real acts of violence on FBG Duck and the public at large.”

The lawsuit also targets several record labels including Alamo Records, Sony Music Entertainment Inc., Universal Music Group Recordings Inc. (Interscope Records), and Empire Distribution Inc, alleging that they knowingly signed, promoted, and profited from artists with gang affiliations and promoted “diss tracks” between them. The complaint accuses them of contributing to an environment that allegedly incited and monetized the violent behavior that led to FBG Duck’s death. It also alleges that OTF is “a hub for the O-Block criminal enterprise and street gang,” and “the media outpost of the O-Block criminal organization.”

As for the City of Chicago, The Dinizulu Law Group’s filing alleges police and emergency services failed to promptly aid FBG Duck after the shooting. They allege he lay alive for over 17 minutes on the sidewalk outside of the Dolce & Gabbana store where he was shot before receiving medical treatment. Toure went off on Jaguar Wright in a video on social media on Wednesday after the singer made headlines for her appearance on Piers Morgan’s Uncensored show, last week. On the show, she made numerous allegations about JAY-Z and Beyonce while discussing the recent arrest of Diddy. During Tuesday’s episode of the show, Morgan apologized for platforming her and revealed that the celebrity couple sent him a legal letter denying the allegations.

“So we have come to the end of the Jaguar Wright sideshow,” Toure began in his response. “No serious media organization will have her on after what happened at Piers Morgan. Piers is a hack and he showed that in this situation, mainstreaming and platforming someone who has mental illness and not disclosing that. A conspiracy theorist who has no idea what she’s talking about.”

Chrisean Rock Responds To Alleged Assault Victim’s Lawsuit With New Legal Filing

Chrisean Rock may be on a new path of purity, but that doesn’t mean she won’t have to pay for the bad behavior she allegedly exhibited in the past. In November of last year, for example, the Baddies star allegedly had an unfortunate run-in with one of Tamar Braxton’s backup singers, James Wright Chanel. Reportedly, Chrisean had attended Braxton’s concert and was under the impression that she’d get onstage to perform at some point. This didn’t work out, however, allegedly leaving her angry.

When Chanel tried to speak with her, she allegedly punched him in the face multiple times and damaged his teeth. Chanel went on to sue her, but now, she’s firing back. According to In Touch Weekly, she’s denied all of the allegations Wright makes against her in the lawsuit. This includes allegedly causing him physical harm, emotional distress, and more.

“As a result of [James’] conduct and actions, [James] is estopped, in whole, or in part, from asserting any of their claims against [Chrisean],” her legal filing reads. Reportedly, the filing also states that Chanel is “barred” from “recovering any damages against her” due to his own “conduct, actions and/or omissions.”

Outside of Chrisean’s legal issues, the mother of one has been spending time with her son Chrisean Jesus, leaning into her faith, and more. Ray J Goes Off On Diddy Before Threatening To Expose Other Alleged Abusers

After doing so, he shared a clip of the segment on Instagram, in which he discussed the iconic artist’s recent arrest in New York City on charges of alleged sex trafficking and racketeering. Diddy has already pleaded not guilty to the alleged crimes.

“Diddy was my friend. What do you do when you never seen all this sh*t that people are talking about? Do you believe it? Everybody’s innocent until proven guilty?” Ray asked during the show. From there, he cotninued: “Do you forgive somebody for taking somebody’s ass? There’s a lot of people out here taking from people. People are getting robbed of not only their money and their spirituality, they’re getting robbed of their womanhood and manhood. Asses are being taken in ways that nobody can explain.”

Ray also brought up authorities’ allegation that they found 1,000 bottles of baby oil during the homeland security raids on his properties, earlier this year. “I see a lot of jokes out there right now talking about baby oil,” he added. “Everybody got a joke about having about baby oil or lube. Is that okay? Is that the message?” Before concluding, he warned that he knows of several more people in the industry absuing their power. “I’m exhausted with the people in this industry that have power who are abusing the power. He apologized to the duo on air, explaining his decision to cut some of her allegations from the interview. “Their lawyers contacted us to say that those claims were totally false, and have no basis in fact,” he said. “Editing interviews is not something we do lightly at a show called Uncensored… But there are legal limits on us too.”

Diddy Trolls Party-Goer For Passing Out In Resurfaced Video

A video of Diddy mocking a man by the name of James for passing out at one of his parties is recirculating online in the wake of the Bad Boy mogul’s arrest. Authorities charged him with allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering, last month. In the video, Diddy jokes about the nature of his parties in what appears to be London.

“For all those in London that don’t know what happens to the white man when he comes to a P. Diddy party, this is what happens to the white man,” he says in the clip, before identifying the man as “James” and noting that he’s a DJ. “When they come to one of my parties, this is what happens to them. I put them to sleep.” A source told TMZ in response to the clip that, “his statements were not meant to be derogatory. The government’s allegations do not address his parties. People continue to rehash old video clips to fit a certain negative narrative and it’s out of context.”

Diddy Performs In London

Diddy has spent quite some time in London throughout his career, which according to The Mirror, has allegedly prompted British investigators to begin looking for alleged victims overseas. “Given the huge amount of time he spent in London, there are concerns that the alleged offending was not confined to America’s shores. Prosecutors are imploring anyone in the U.K. who may have information they feel could help the investigation to get in touch,” a source told the outlet, last month.
