ASAP Rocky Dons Stacks On Stacks Of Gold Chains While Filming Video With Locals In Barbados

There’s been a clear maturing in ASAP Rocky since he assumed the role of a father last May. Both he and Rihanna have acknowledged this growth, as have fans who are glad to see the East Coast icon looking happier than ever before. While he’s been on daddy duty, new music arrivals from Rocky have been few and far between, though listeners are holding out hope that he’ll drop something noteworthy on us in the near future. On Friday (June 30), we got unofficial confirmation that something is in the works. The lyricist was out in Barbados, mingling with locals while apparently filming a music video.

In one clip making rounds online, Rocky wears countless cold chains stacked around his neck over a white tee. Around him, a group of men excitedly cheer, looking somewhat similar to the ASAP Mob star (minus the bling). This could be intentional, as we previously saw him sprinting through Paris in Timbs in a crowd of men, also dressed in a similar fashion to him at the time.

Videos obtained by TMZ show Rocky rewarding those who came out to help him with his project. He handed them cash and hung out for a bit to snap photos for Instagram which have already begun circulating. Rihanna wasn’t spotted on set, though she did look stunning in a green mini-dress earlier this week when she and her man’s flight first touched down in Barbados.

The last single we got from ASAP Rocky, “Same Problems?” arrived in mid-January, meanwhile, the last album he gave us, TESTING, landed in 2018. Fans are obviously thirsty for more new music from the New Yorker, but while they wait, they’ve been reflecting on his discography. Rihanna & ASAP Rocky Fly To Barbados For A Baecation After Turning Heads In Paris

Not only has Rihanna been travelling all over the world since announcing her second pregnancy in February, but she’s been doing it in style with ASAP Rocky by her side. We’ve seen the lovers visit Japan, where the soon-to-be father of two wore a graphic tee covered in miniature memes of himself, and more recently, they were in Paris to support Pharrell. Aside from Beyonce and Jay-Z, Rihanna and ASAP were arguably one of the best-dressed couples at the Louis Vuitton runway show, where they coordinated in all-blue outfits.

As Daily Mail reports, after finishing up their to-do list in France, Rocky and his “wife” (as he called Rihanna during his live performance in Europe this past week) caught a flight to Barbados. It seems to have become a tradition for the pair, as they visited the Fenty Beauty founder’s home country when she was nine months pregnant with RZA. She appears to be just as far along this time around. Of course, no information about the little one’s gender or due date is public knowledge yet.

Rihanna Returns to Her Homeland Ahead of Baby No. 2

Rihanna was all smiles in a skin-tight green mini-dress shortly after arriving back in Barbados. She kept her accessories simple and was shining bright like a diamond beside ASAP in his grey, black. and white outfit. It remains unclear how long they plan to stay on the beautiful island, but we’re sure to see some beautiful snapshots of the 35-year-old surface as she taps back into her roots.

As she embarks upon the final weeks of her second pregnancy, Rihanna’s life is changing in several major ways. Not only will she and ASAP Rocky be introducing RZA to their adorable sibling, but the Bad Gal will also have much more time to spend with her family as she officially announced her decision to step down as the CEO of her lingerie company after several years. ASAP Rocky Makes Fatherhood Look Too Fly In New Photo Dump With RZA & Rihanna

Parenthood takes a toll on a person, but somehow, Rihanna and ASAP Rocky have only gotten cooler since welcoming their first child together, RZA, in 2022. Of course, we’ve since found out that the Barbadian starlet is expecting again, and by our calculations, it likely won’t be long until she gives birth for the second time. While he’s still only got one mini-me to look after, the New York-born rapper is celebrating his second Father’s Day. Earlier on Sunday (June 18) afternoon, his Instagram feed lit up with a photo dump showing some of his favourite moments from being a dad so far.

“EVERYDAY FATHER’S DAY ,” Rocky wrote in his caption. He began with a comedic video of him aggressively brushing his teeth with bubblegum pink paste. Ever the king of colour coordination, he matched his mouth care with the pink polka dot bonnet worn on his head. Immediately after, the Testing hitmaker added a heartwarming photo – like captured by Rihanna – of him and RZA comfortably, albeit haphazardly, sleeping in bed together. We also see a close-up of the one-year-old’s adorable face, as well as a video of his parents in their natural element.

While the Bad Gal flaunts her budding baby bump for the camera under a white tank top, Rocky shows off his “dad bod” under his wife beater. The happy family paid tribute to the baby-to-be in another image as well, the rapper bending over to kiss Rihanna’s belly while holding their son. In the second last slide, Rocky showed how his little one is already copying his style and laidback attitude with an adorable video.

Finally, he closed things out with one last snapshot of the Fenty Beauty founder and their son, who look just like twins. “The Mayers boys stole my whole heart! ASAP Rocky Explains His Approach To Fashion: “I’m Drawn To Things That Others Look Past”

Call him what you want, pretty motherf*cker, fashion killa, or A$AP Rocky. Either way, he’s almost always the best-dressed in the room – and he knows it. Since he first came up as a rapper the New York native has carried himself with the utmost confidence, wearing whatever makes him feel (and look) like number one. Earlier this month Rocky – born Rakim Mayers – spoke with The Times about some of his personal style preferences, specifically explaining why he doesn’t go all-out for red-carpet events as some other celebs do.

“They look silly sometimes. Shout out to the people who actually execute,” the soon-to-be father of two told the outlet. He mentioned that he views his music and fashion in a similar light – they’re both methods of expression he enjoys using to surprise people. The self-proclaimed “godfather of mixing it up” also finds himself “naturally attracted to things that other people might find too obscure or too complicated.” Obviously, he’s referring to the hilarious shirt he sported during a recent trip to Japan, fully clad with miniature versions of him running through Paris in his Timbs.

ASAP Rocky is a Man Who Knows What He Likes

For Rocky, it’s all about what’s not obvious to the average eye. “I like to think I’m drawn to things that others look past. Since my first song, I’ve been rapping about Raf Simons and Rick Owens. It was also about mixing high-end with streetwear. I do that in my sleep,” he bragged. Elsewhere in their chat, the “Houston Old Head” hitmaker showed love to those in the fashion industry working hard to put together countless shows every season.

“I think going to a fashion show is the same as going to see an artist on stage – most people don’t realize what it takes. It’s incredible how they do it and I tip my hat to them,” he told The Times. They also just celebrated the first birthday of their son, RZA, yesterday (May 13). In true billionaire style, the Bad Gal and her beau went all-out for their party, spoiling the stylish infant with a money cake, along with plenty of other special moments before he officially becomes a big brother.

RZA’s second trip around the sun began with a heartwarming message from his father on Instagram. “‘WU TANG IZ 4 DA CHUREN.’ HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY TO MY 1ST BORN,” Rocky captioned his photo dump, which includes various photos and videos of him posing with his mini-me. Later in the day, friends of the musically-talented couple joined them at RZA to party and watch him blow out his candles. Just a couple of days after news broke of their son’s name, A$AP Rocky shared an adorable Instagram post wishing his firstborn child with Rihanna, their son RZA, a happy first birthday. With it, he not only confirmed the name but paid further tribute to the Wu-Tang Clan, one of whose iconic members is the namesake of the little one. “‘WU TANG IZ 4 DA CHUREN,’”Rocky wrote, referencing Wu member Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s historic (and interruptive) speech at the Grammys. “HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TO MY 1st BORN. RZA.” He also shared a lot of cute snaps with his kid and with RiRi.

What’s more is that RZA’s name puts the couple previous fits into mind-blowing context. Of course, there’s a lot to choose from, as the two are always turning heads for their style and fashion sense. However, the hint was in our faces all along, albeit quite the hard hint to catch from just a sweater. While out on the town with A$AP Rocky, Rihanna was pictured wearing a Wu-Tang jersey, which is the kind of small tease that seems so intentional in hindsight.

This one saw her layering a mesh bra top over a white bra, leaving her rotund baby bump on display above her baggy, mid-wash jeans. Seeing as there was still a spring chill in the air, she layered up with a black and brown fur coat, completing the outfit with a handbag and the ultimate east coast shoe – Timbs.
