6ix9ine Speaks Out On Gym Beatdown: “I Can’t Say They Were Wrong”

The assault of 6ix9ine in a gym bathroom rocked the media and fans everywhere, and many have waited for the rapper to respond. Finally, a bit over a week after the incident, he posted lengthy messages to Instagram addressing the issue. While many saw this as retribution for his antics and for his taunting, it also opened up a much more important conversation on the dangers of retaliatory and provocative behavior as a whole. Sure, many expressed happiness, but that doesn’t get to the heart of the issue. With that in mind, the rainbow-haired MC first had some words of gratitude.

“HEY GUYS,” Daniel Hernandez wrote on Instagram. Moreover, he captioned a video of him in the hospital, around nature, and on set as a music video for his latest track “Bori” featuring Lenier. “IM BACK THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CALLED AND REACHED OUT. “First time addressing the situation,” he wrote in a separate post along with a video of the attack. “For 2 years I been walking around with no security. Not saying I promote that BUT now you see I really never hid from anything. If you ever crossed my path or ever came to my house (you girls know who you are) ya can tell the world ‘Danny drives his own cars and be solo.’ You know how many of you people seen me in real life by myself in gas stations, supermarkets, restaurants, etc.

In case you haven’t noticed, 6ix9ine has been in the news quite a bit. Overall, this is not for the best reasons. Just a few weeks ago, the rapper was beaten up at an LA Fitness in Miami. Subsequently, he was clowned on the internet, while his attackers escaped the scene. Eventually, the artist decided that it would be best to go on a trip to Cuba. In the midst of this trip, 6ix9ine got some semblance of justice as three of his alleged attackers were arrested and brought up on charges.

While in Cuba, 6ix9ine has actually been teasing some new music. In various Instagram videos, it appeared as though the rapper was gaining some steam. He has some dedicated fans left, and they wanted to see which direction he would go. In the past, he has dabbled in Latin music. With the rise of Bad Bunny and others, Latin music is certainly on everyone’s radar, especially on the global stage. Consequently, 6ix9ine has opted to go right back into that lane with his new song “Bori.”

6ix9ine Completely Changes His Sound

This new song features the likes of Latin singer Lenier. Moreover, the two dropped a music video for the song. As you will immediately see, this is a massive shift for 6ix9ine. Overall, this song has a knack for the dramatic. You get some huge drums, massive choruses, and a ton of passion and emotion coming out of 6ix9ine and Lenier’s vocals. While many fans are used to 6ix9ine screaming all over the beat, we now get a much different version of the artist. Furthermore, the music video showcases him in various Cuban communities, giving the locals money and swimming in the ravines.

Tekashi 69’s Sauna Attackers Have Been Jailed On Robbery And Assault Charges

On March 21, Tekashi 69, real name Daniel Hernandez, was hospitalized after being attacked in the sauna in LA Fitness in Lake Worth, Florida. Footage showed a man punching and kicking Hernandez and several attackers can be seen in the video. He suffered cuts to his face as well as injuries to his back, ribs, and jaw.

It was reported today (March 31) that three men have been arrested in connection to the event, according to Billboard. Rafael Medina Jr., Octavious Medina, and Anthony Maldonado were arrested on robbery and assault charges, said The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Their respective ages are 43, 23, and 25.

In August of last year, the notorious rapper’s girlfriend, Rachel Wattley, was arrested on a battery charge after punching him. He told TMZ directly, “She attacked me in front of the police. I told them, ‘You have to evaluate her, she’s obviously under the influence.’ I don’t plan to press charges … I’m the one trying to bail her out.”

Earlier in 2022, he was punched from behind at a nightclub. Along with that, he was sued for aggravated battery by a stripper last year who said he hit her with a champagne bottle after missing his intended target in a club fight.

6ix9ine Update: Alleged Attackers Arrested & Charged

Just a couple of weeks ago, infamous rapper 6ix9ine was viciously beaten at an LA Fitness in Florida. Overall, the attack seemed pretty random as the men behind it didn’t seem to actually have any real beef with the rapper. Instead, it appeared as though the rainbow-haired rapper was just a victim of his own notoriety. One second he was on the Stairmaster, and the next, he was being beaten down in a bathroom. After the beating, 6ix9ine was subsequently taken to the hospital where his face was treated for various wounds.

Since that time, the rapper has been enjoying his time in Cuba. Moreover, he has been teasing some music, which is good news for his fans. As for his three alleged attackers, the police had been on the hunt for them. There were various camera angles of the men entering the gym prior to the attach. Additionally, the attackers took their own video for social media, which only added to the evidence pile. Now, it appears as though the alleged attackers are in a Palm Beach County jail.

6ix9ine Seemingly Gets Justice

In a report from WPTV, it was revealed that Rafael Medina Jr., Octavious Media, and Anthony Maldonado were all arrested and charged with assault and robbery. All three of their mugshots can be seen in the tweet above, from @mymixtapez. Overall, these three are presumed to be the alleged attackers. However, they will get to present their respective cases in court today, as they are all expected to face a judge. At this point, it remains to be seen how the proceedings will go down.

As for 6ix9ine, he has yet to react to this news. Considering he is vacationing in Cuba, there is a slight chance that he doesn’t even know what is happening. After returning to Cuba this week, 6ix9ine seems to be teasing new music and could potentially drop something soon. Moreover, DJ Akademiks shared a video of the rapper seemingly in a Cuban town, surrounded by presumably locals and draped with the Cuban flag (the rapper, real name Daniel Hernandez, is of Mexican and Puerto Rican descent). In the clip, he seems to be recording a music video or promo visual of sorts, as a new song plays and you can see a cameraperson film him upfront. Not only that, but this sounds like a different style to what he typically brings to the table, although not a wholly unique one for him.

Furthermore, it’s a Spanish-language cut that is much more somber, melodic, and dramatic than his usual musical fare. As such, many fans are wondering what could be next for the rapper, especially after his viral beatdown in an LA fitness bathroom in Florida. That saw the rainbow-haired MC get the most media attention in a long time, something that many believe he tries to feed off of with his public statements and music. Still, many agreed that, if true, his seemingly helpful actions painted the nation in a poor light for the sake of views.

Despite these controversies, Tekashi seems committed to focusing on his private life and not letting media get in the way. Of course, he’ll take advantage of it when he can, but he won’t let it change his movement and how he decides to live. Many raised eyebrows at his decision to not bolster security after the attack on him, and it seems he’s willing to live with those choices. 6ix9ine Resurfaces In Cuba Following Brutal Gym Beating: Report

He won’t feel safe stepping outside in the U.S. anytime soon. However, 6ix9ine seems to be having the time of his life in Cuba following his recent gym assault. Last week, the New Yorker was the victim of a brutal beatdown while visiting an L.A. Fitness location without his security team. At the time he was taken to hospital after sustaining injuries to his face. Sources close to him revealed that he wasn’t planning on leaving his home in Florida or switching workout facilities anytime soon.

According to XXL Mag, the embattled artist may have changed his mind. A video of 6ix9ine frolicking outside in Cuba surfaced online yesterday (March 27). He’s said to be staying in the rural area of Pinar del Rio. In the brief clip, he smiles from wear to ear while walking along an embankment. He appears to be enjoying the warm weather, wearing a hat and an unbuttoned shirt. The energy around the “GOOBA” artist overseas is clearly high. The camera caught him being warmly embraced by a little one as the post comes to an end.

Seeing as the post didn’t come from 6ix9ine himself, we can’t officially confirm whether or not he’s relocated to the island for the time being. Seeing as he’s visited in the past, it’s entirely possible internet trolls could be using old footage in an attempt to cause a stir online. Still, though, the 26-year-old seems to be laying low in wake of the wild attack. He may not have much to publicly say on the matter, but plenty of other celebrities, as well as friends and family members have chimed in.

His baby mama, Sara Molina, believes that their 7-year-old daughter will likely be embarrassed by 6ix9ine’s actions when she’s old enough to understand the situation. Additionally, she called her ex “reckless” for failing to surround himself with an adequate security team.
