LeBron James Reflects On Rich Paul’s Success Amid “60 Minutes” Special

LeBron James has experienced a lot of success throughout his career in the NBA. However, a lot of it would have not been possible without his agent Rich Paul. If you have listened to Paul speak, you know that he has an incredible mind for business. Overall, he knows how to protect his players and put them in positions to succeed. LeBron has never been embroiled in an off-the-court controversy, and Rich Paul is definitely a reason for that.

Last night, Paul was profiled by 60 Minutes and as you can imagine, LeBron was very excited about this. “I hope everyone watches 60 Minutes tonight to see the story about my brother Rich Paul and his new book “Lucky Me”. Rich changed the game and now he’s giving everyone an education about who we are and where we come from,” LeBron wrote. “The Midwest in the 90’s had so much impact on our culture. Incredibly proud of my brother giving us such an important story.

LeBron James Speaks

Amid the special, one fan on social media wrote: “What’s amazing about Lebron James is he saw what Rich Paul and Maverick Carter would become before anyone else.” LeBron was appreciative of this remark and offered a prompt reply. “Appreciate you making this point,” he said. “Everytime someone makes their success about me vs hard work and talent, it’s disrespectful to me and my brothers. But, the real ones know.” Needless to say, LeBron wants his friends to get the same respect as himself. He understands that having a solid team around you is what leads to great success.

At this point, no one can question what Rich Paul has accomplished. He is the most powerful agent in sports right now, and that probably won’t change, anytime soon. Britney Spears Team Doesn’t Want Her Promoting Book On TV

Britney Spears has a book coming out soon that a lot of people are highly anticipating. Consequently, TV shows are taking notice as she’s reportedly been offered a spot on numerous shows to talk about the upcoming novel. Reportedly even the prestigious CBS show 60 Minutes is seeking an interview, but all have been declined. According to Page Six, Britney’s team doesn’t think she’s ready to make an on-camera appearance.

Conflicting reports have emerged on the specifics of why she’s turned down nearly every TV appearance that’s been offered. One insider claims that it has to do at least in some part with Spears’ Instagram posts. The singer has become known for her very erratic and occasionally quite unhinged social media posts. Another source they spoke to claimed that the decision was being left solely to the singer herself. “She’s a free woman. She’ll decide. It’s her choice. She’s had offers and she doesn’t want to do anything,” they report. It’s no surprise that Spears would pass up on an interview after she was repeatedly taken to task by the media for her every action for decades. Check out the entire report below.

Britney Spears Declining TV Appearances

Britney recently made a post to Instagram that probably has some people worried about the content of her book. She posted about those close to her that had betrayed her. While she didn’t specify whether she was talking about family members or her recent ex-husband Sam Asghari, both are expected to play pretty major roles in Britney’s upcoming book.

It’s part of a series of concerning Instagram posts she’s made calling out those who wronged her. Earlier this month she took aim at people who lied to her in the past. “My HANDS ON MY HIPS SAY EVERYTHING !!! How many times have you guys been lied to or tricked by someone you loved ??? Psss on repeat because well … I MEAN IT !!!” the caption of the post read. What do you think of Britney Spears’s team telling her to decline media appearances? Rick Rubin: “I Know Nothing About Music”

Rick Rubin, the legendary producer whose influence is still heralded as gospel, said that he knows nothing about music. In a recent interview with Anderson Cooper for 60 Minutes, he explained how he has no technical knowledge of music production. Moreover, he had some insights as to why his style and taste is so sought-after… and successful.

“Do you play instruments?” Cooper asked the Def Jam co-founder. “Barely,” he replied, to which Cooper responded almost incredulously: “Do you know how to work a soundboard?”

“No. I have no technical ability, and I know nothing about music,” Rubin stated. Cooper laughed, as we’re sure many did when they heard those words. Furthermore, given his track record (Kanye West, Run-DMC, The Strokes, Johnny Cash, Black Sabbath, and Eminem just to name a few), this seems preposterous. Still, the 59-year-old identified why he stamped his name into the game.

“I know what I like and what I don’t like, and I’m decisive about what I like and what I don’t like,” he expressed.

“So what are you being paid for?” Cooper asked. “The confidence that I have in my taste and my ability to express what I feel has proven helpful for artists,” the Beastie Boys producer said humbly.

In a previous interview with Channel 4 News, the producer highlighted the importance of singularity and not comparing yourself to others. Moreover, such advice likely fueled some of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time. Some are License to Ill by The Beastie Boys and Public Enemy’s It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back. However, more recent examples of Rubin’s genius are Ye’s Yeezus and Slim Shady’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

“We each have a singular voice, we each have our own voice,” he told Channel 4. “What I do is different than what you do…we all do something different and they’re not comparable. They have nothing to do with each other. It’s apples and oranges.

“So if you make something today and you think it can be better,” he concluded, “tomorrow you can improve it. You can continually make the thing you’re making better. You can learn and practice and do anything.”

Still, what do you think of Rick Rubin supposedly knowing “nothing” about music? However you may feel, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, stay tuned to HNHH for more wisdom from the music industry’s genius gurus.

Prince Harry Admits “Bigoted” Behaviour Before Meeting Meghan Markle

Some argue that the monarchy is an entirely dated concept. Still, though, Britain’s Royal Family has spent an abundance of time in the headlines as of late. Following the emotional death of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle dropped some bombshells in their Netflix docuseries at the end of 2022.

From the Suits actress’ confession that she didn’t feel as though anyone treated her “like a Black woman” until she moved to the UK to her friendship with Beyoncé, the six-episode project covers plenty of content. However, it didn’t get through everything the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had to say. Especially not the former, who’s been spilling plenty of juicy tea about his family in recent weeks.

Ahead of his Spare memoir, Prince Harry has been making rounds on the press circuit, discussing the upcoming book. Recently, he joined Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes to discuss his work and upbringing. In the interview, the father of two reflects on the racism his wife faced from the British media.

Surprisingly, he had a personal realization to share with listeners at the same time. According to Haz, he, too, may have walked through life with racist feelings prior to meeting Markle.

“I had no idea the British press were so bigoted. Hell, I was probably bigoted before the relationship with Meghan,” he tells Cooper. Later, when asked how the American star has changed him, he sweetly said, “Put it this way. I didn’t see what I now see.”

While he’s clearly got all the praise for Markle, Harry’s older brother, Prince William hasn’t been getting as much love. According to Page Six, the younger royal takes a jab at the future King’s rapid hair loss in Spare. Apparently, he describes it as “alarming.”

Elsewhere in the book, the 38-year-old describes his sibling as his “archnemesis,” also breaking down a physical altercation they had during a confrontation about the former’s wife.

Read what Meghan Markle had to say about her friendship with Beyoncé in her and Harry’s Netflix docuseries here. Afterward, tell us if you plan to read the Prince’s forthcoming memoir (due out January 10) in the comments.
