EST Gee And 42 Dugg Warn Their Foes Not To Push Their Luck On ‘Thump Sh*t’

Last Ones Left, the joint project from CMG signees EST Gee and 42 Dugg, is out today, and the two Midwestern street rappers keep their momentum going with a new video for “Thump Sh*t.” Directed by Diesel Filmz, the video captures the frenetic, relentless energy of the track, which itself is a microcosm of the propulsive vibe on the album. The two rappers display their signature chemistry trading boasts and jabs as they warn foes not to push their luck, lest they get, well, thumped.

Dugg and Gee’s partnership has proven to be particularly prolific ever since they first paired up on EST Gee’s “5500 Degrees” along with Lil Baby and Rylo Rodriguez. Since then, they’ve repeatedly reunited to match wits on tracks like Dugg’s “Rose Gold” and CMG captain Yo Gotti’s “Cold Gangsta” before they were officially matched up to bang out their joint project.

After announcing the project at CMG’s press conference in February, they actually pushed it back to provide a longer runway for singles “Free The Shiners” and “Everybody Shooters Too” to gain traction. Now that the album’s out, don’t expect them to slow down anytime soon.

French Montana Takes Over A New York City Subway In His ‘Push Start’ Video With Coi Leray And 42 Dugg

French Montana concluded his 2021 year by releasing his fourth album They Got Amnesia. It stood as his first full-length release since 2019’s Montana which caused some controversy after he was accused of using fake streams to promote the album. This time with They Got Amnesia, things were a lot smoother, and months after the album’s release, French Montana is still in full promotion mode. Proof of that comes with his latest video for “Push Start.”

In his latest visual, which features appearances from Coi Leray and 42 Dugg who provide guest verses on the song, French Montana kicks things off by taking over a New York City subway with help from a cast of women. French lays his raps while the ladies twerk and have a blast behind him. Later on, French steps off the train to continue the party as Leray and 42 Dugg join him to rap their own verses.

The video for “Push Start” is the latest one that French has delivered for a song from They Got Amnesia. Prior to today, we received visuals for “How You King?,” “Handstand,” “Bag Season,” “Panicking,” “Business,” and “FWMGAB (Remix).”

EST Gee And 42 Dugg’s Chemistry Is Impenetrable In Their Focused Video For ‘Everybody Shooters Too’

Over the last year or so EST Gee and 42 Dugg have grown to be two of rap’s newest and most promising names. Gee’s Bigger Than Life Or Death and Dugg’s Free Dem Boyz projects, which both arrived last year, helped to give them a strong boost in their respective careers. They’ve also collaborated on several occasions on tracks like “5500 Degrees” and “Rose Gold,” and it’s most likely a result of them both being signed to Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group imprint. That connection aled to last month’s announcement of a joint album between Gee and Dugg, which is set to arrive sooner or later.

The rappers initially said their project, titled Last Ones Left, would touch down on February 18, but that day came and went without the project. However, the duo didn’t leave their fans high and dry and an example of that comes with their latest song, “Everybody Shooters Too.” The new track arrives with a focused video that captures Gee and Dugg rapping beside their crew as they flex their diamonds, cars, and high-end clothing.

The new song and video arrive after Gee and Dugg dropped off “Free The Shiners” to kick off the campaign for Last Ones Left.
