EST Gee Is On The Offensive With EST DeMike In Their Fearless ‘Never Scared’ Video

Last year, EST Gee and 42 Dugg proved to be one of rap’s hottest newcomers with their respective projects Bigger Than Life Or Death and Free Dem Boyz. Both being signees to Yo Gotti’s CMG label, it’s only right that they joined forces last month for their Last Ones Left project. It delivered 17 songs with most being collaborations with Gee and Dugg while others were individual efforts from the rappers. Almost a month after they dropped Last Ones Left, Gee unloads a video for one of his solo cuts from the album.

EST Gee lays off a video for “Never Scared” with EST DeMike. Both rappers are a part of the Everybody Shine Together collective, and in the video, they stand tall as a fearless duo who won’t back down from the opposition no matter the danger that lays ahead of them. The video also features the expected collection of luxury cars, jewelry, and money to really round things out.

The new video joins “Whole Gang Buss,” “Thump Sh*t,” “Everybody Shooters Too,” and “Free The Shiners” as songs from Last Ones Left to receive the visual treatment.

42 Dugg And EST Gee Introduce A Rowdy Crew In Their ‘Whole Gang Buss’ Video

Although 42 Dugg and EST Gee’s Last Ones Left is billed as a joint album between the two CMG signees, it naturally has a few tracks that spotlight each of its contributors individually. However, they’re not just here to be solo stars; they also want to put on their respective crews. That’s just what Dugg does on his solo track, “Whole Gang Buss,” which introduces his Detroit associates for a punchline-filled, swaggering posse cut. Dugg is joined by 42 Cheez, Reaper, and Tae Money who all spit ferocious verses before he brings the track home on the anchor leg.

This can only bode well for EST Gee’s own spotlight track, “Free Zoski,” which features Memphis’ own Big30 and fellow Louisvillian EST Zo. I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the next video to get a release, since it’s also the song immediately following “Whole Gang Buss” on the Last Ones Left tracklist.

And it’s not like the group lacks the video budget. Since the album dropped, the duo has released no fewer than three videos, not including “Whole Gang Buss,” in addition to showing off their chemistry in videos from their respective solo albums. In March, they released a clip for “Free The Shiners,” following up a week later with “Everybody Shooters Too,” then opening the month of April with “Thump Sh*t.” If they remain as prolific through the rest of the year, CMG’s roster could effect a complete takeover of the rap industry with very little trouble.

EST Gee And 42 Dugg Warn Their Foes Not To Push Their Luck On ‘Thump Sh*t’

Last Ones Left, the joint project from CMG signees EST Gee and 42 Dugg, is out today, and the two Midwestern street rappers keep their momentum going with a new video for “Thump Sh*t.” Directed by Diesel Filmz, the video captures the frenetic, relentless energy of the track, which itself is a microcosm of the propulsive vibe on the album. The two rappers display their signature chemistry trading boasts and jabs as they warn foes not to push their luck, lest they get, well, thumped.

Dugg and Gee’s partnership has proven to be particularly prolific ever since they first paired up on EST Gee’s “5500 Degrees” along with Lil Baby and Rylo Rodriguez. Since then, they’ve repeatedly reunited to match wits on tracks like Dugg’s “Rose Gold” and CMG captain Yo Gotti’s “Cold Gangsta” before they were officially matched up to bang out their joint project.

After announcing the project at CMG’s press conference in February, they actually pushed it back to provide a longer runway for singles “Free The Shiners” and “Everybody Shooters Too” to gain traction. Now that the album’s out, don’t expect them to slow down anytime soon.

EST Gee And 42 Dugg’s Chemistry Is Impenetrable In Their Focused Video For ‘Everybody Shooters Too’

Over the last year or so EST Gee and 42 Dugg have grown to be two of rap’s newest and most promising names. Gee’s Bigger Than Life Or Death and Dugg’s Free Dem Boyz projects, which both arrived last year, helped to give them a strong boost in their respective careers. They’ve also collaborated on several occasions on tracks like “5500 Degrees” and “Rose Gold,” and it’s most likely a result of them both being signed to Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group imprint. That connection aled to last month’s announcement of a joint album between Gee and Dugg, which is set to arrive sooner or later.

The rappers initially said their project, titled Last Ones Left, would touch down on February 18, but that day came and went without the project. However, the duo didn’t leave their fans high and dry and an example of that comes with their latest song, “Everybody Shooters Too.” The new track arrives with a focused video that captures Gee and Dugg rapping beside their crew as they flex their diamonds, cars, and high-end clothing.

The new song and video arrive after Gee and Dugg dropped off “Free The Shiners” to kick off the campaign for Last Ones Left.

42 Dugg And EST Gee Hype Up Their Joint Album With The High-Flying ‘Free The Shiners’ Video

CMG rappers 42 Dugg and EST Gee have demonstrated natural, fan-pleasing chemistry numerous times over the last couple of years, so why not a full album? After sharing the tracks “Rose Gold,” “Cold Gangsta,” and “5500 Degrees” in the past few months, the two Midwesterners announced their joint project, Last Ones Left, at a CMG press conference last month. While they overshot their initial projected release date, they offered a promising sign of the album’s impending release today with the high-flying video for “Free The Shiners.”

The first inkling of the duo’s scintillating chemistry came on EST Gee’s I Still Don’t Feel Nun single “Members Only,” on which 42 Dugg contributed a verse to the Louisvillian’s breakout 2020 mixtape. That was also the tape that attracted the attention of CMG founder Yo Gotti, who scooped both rappers for his label. Gee then returned the favor on the Detroiter’s Free Dem Boyz mixtape in May of 2021. The duo went on to share the mic another two times, which helped spark the idea of putting both together as their waves crested at the same time, a la Lil Baby and Gunna in 2018. It sounds like a solid strategy, too; if it works out as well as it did for the two aforementioned Atlantans, EST Gee and 42 Dugg could end up being the next big names in rap.

42 Dugg And EST Gee’s Joint Album, ‘Last One’s Left,’ Is Dropping This Month

Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group (CMG) label, which he founded back in 2012, currently holds one of the best rosters of hip-hop talents. Moneybagg Yo, Blac Youngsta, 42 Dugg, and EST Gee are all signed to the label. It remains seen what the future holds for CMG, but so far, it’s promising. On Thursday, Yo Gotti and the label’s respective acts help a press conference to announce some big news regarding CMG. It was here that 42 Dugg and EST Gee delivered a special announcement to their fans.

The rappers announced that they are finishing their joint album. “Last one’s left,” 42 Dugg said during the press conference. “Me and Gee, you know, that sh*t coming soon. We finishing it up right now. Just be ready for it.” They even revealed that the project, which is titled Last One’s Left, is slated for a tentative release on February 18, giving everyone just one week to gear up for its release.

42 Dugg and EST Gee’s announcement comes after they both had a successful 2021. 42 Dugg released his third project Free Dem Boyz which was highlighted by “Maybach” with Future. EST Gee released his fifth project Bigger Than Life Or Death last year which featured the standout “5500 Degrees” with Lil Baby, Rylo Rodriguez, and 42 Dugg.

In addition to the album announcement, Yo Gotti also revealed that Mozzy has joined the CMG roster. Mozzy’s last project came last year with he and YG’s Kommunity Service.
