G Herbo Sentencing Date Reportedly Moving To Early 2024

Agreeing to a plea deal isn’t easy for any rapper to do, especially after witnessing the ridicule Gunna faced for signing one in his YSL RICO case. However, G Herbo felt it was best for him and his family to follow in the “fukumean” artist’s footsteps with his own wire fraud and identity theft investigation back in the summer. The Chicago rapper and his crew were arrested in December 2020, at which time they were indicted on fourteen charges. Among them were “booking trips, services, and other luxurious purchases while using stolen identities” on numerous occasions.

In addition, Herbo was in police custody in July 2023 due to illegal gun possession, only potentially worsening what lies ahead at his sentencing. Before accepting a plea, he was looking at up to 20 years in prison. Interestingly, the lyricist was in trouble again for lying to federal agents about his fraud case in 2021 after denying his guilt. As 2023 comes to a close, many thought Herb might have answers by now, but according to @ChicagoScene88 until Twitter, he’ll get to spend the holiday season with his children before heading to court in the new year.

G Herbo May Get to Spend Christmas with His Kids

“G Herbo’s (NLMB) sentencing is moving forward to January 11, 2024,” they announced on Sunday (November 19). It’s unclear exactly what caused the delay, though social media users are pointing out that Herbo will be happy to have more time to secure funds to bulk up his commissary money through posting advertisements on his Instagram page. “That boy Herb been getting that commissary money ready, all them damn weed promos,” one person commented on @akademiks’ page.

It’s already been almost six months since G Herbo accepted a plea deal in his wire fraud and identity theft case, but still, the “Chi-raq” collaborator is waiting on the final details of how much time he’ll be serving for his crimes. In the comments, fans seem to take the bait and have already begun getting excited. “THE TATTOO ATEEEEEEEE,” one of the top comments reads in reference to the back tattoo Spice is showing off. “The outfit go crazy” another fan comments. Elsewhere in the comments they speculate on new music and in particular Spice potentially collaborating with another breakout rap star of this year, Sexyy Red. Last week, the Grammys announced their nominations for the 2024 edition of the show. Ice Spice found herself among the nominees for the very first time. It seems like Offset’s new album SET IT OFF really inspired him to put in work in the studio, because that album’s cycle in media coverage and playlist rotation isn’t even over and he’s already planning two steps ahead. Moreover, TMZ Hip Hop recently caught up with him in Beverly Hills and said that he will release another album in February of next year. While this is very exciting news for fans, apparently this might be a family project of sorts for the Georgia rapper, too. In addition to this, he also said that his eldest son Jordan’s been working hard on his beats, and might be getting a credit on this next project.

“I would, I definitely would,” Offset replied when asked whether he’d ever put his children on an album or song. I got something coming out with my son, anyway. Not a song, though, but you’ll see it. You’ll see, it comes out Friday. Next album dropping February. Exclusive, I just told y’all that.” Apparently, the outlet also determined that he referred to his oldest son Jordan’s production and explained that the project for Friday didn’t end up panning out due to some tweaks, but these statements don’t show up in the clip below.

One of the biggest stars in all of music is taking off on tour next year. After Beyonce, Drake, Taylor Swift, and The Weeknd all embarked on major tours this year, 2024 is Bad Bunny’s turn. Today he announced the “Most Wanted” tour which will see him hitting dozens of American cities. There are 49 tour dates listed on the official poster, but it also comes with a tease that there are even more yet to be announced. Bad Bunny is fresh off the release of his new album Nadie Sabe Lo Qua Va A Pasar Manana. The project is already racking up millions of streams and will hit the charts later this week. One such critic is Bill Maher, popular talk show host and commentator who doesn’t think Biden will be the one to defeat the Republicans this time around. However, the HBO alum didn’t just have criticism; he actually said that Joe Biden had a good first term and reinstated some peace and order in the executive office. However, the most recent report to come out concerning it certainly doesn’t suggest any good news. Moreover, Radar Online reportedly obtained copies of the Federal Electoral Commission’s (FEC) filings on the campaign on Monday (July 17). These documents suggest that not a single person has donated a single penny to it within the past few weeks. As such, hope for the run vanished, yet people wondered how much Ye even cared about in it in the first place.

Furthermore, on April 1 of this year, apparently the campaign had around $125,000 to spare concerning expenses. After paying consultants and additional employees around $101,000 in total, Kanye West’s efforts didn’t have much money to spare by June 30. While the run doesn’t have any outstanding debts indicated by these reports, this means that the campaign apparently had just about $23,000 upon June’s end. In addition, the Chicago artist claimed he blew over $2 million in bills, but only garnered close to $455,000 in donations since his 2024 strategy’s inception.

Many found it quite curious when news broke that Kanye West called off his presidential campaign for 2024. However, recent reports from TMZ indicate that he’s not done; he just needed a team change to keep things going. Moreover, the publication allegedly obtained emails from Milo Yiannopoulos, who is apparently now back in Ye’s camp as his Director of Political Operations. Furthermore, he sent an email to former associate Nick Fuentes, a right-wing pundit and white nationalist. “Your services on Ye’s exploratory team are terminated… and will not be required for any possible future campaign,” the email to Fuentes reportedly read.

Of course, the use of the word “possible” means that this presidential campaign might not work out at the end of the day. After all, this is Kanye West we’re talking about, and his moves could shift within a matter of days. Still, this is quite the big step in distancing himself from a former close collaborator. In fact, it was Fuentes who accompanied the Chicago rapper to Mar-A-Lago to speak with Donald Trump. From what these alleged emails indicate, YE2024 might be back into full gear.

Kanye West Shifts His Potential Campaign Team Around

Another associate of his to receive the boot was Ali Alexander, TMZ‘s report indicates. For those unaware, he recently apologized forcibly for soliciting inappropriate pictures from teenage boys. In addition to this, TMZ apparently spoke to Yiannopoulos, who confirmed the emails. He also added that he’s been talking to Kanye West about his plans in Los Angeles for the past week. Readers may recall that Milo was fired from the team after Ye’s inflammatory Alex Jones interview and antisemitic comments, and Yiannopoulos reportedly blamed Fuentes and Alexander.

Furthermore, the Yeezy mogul’s list of controversies is extensive and likely needs no summary at this point. As such, this campaign could either lean into those dangerous waters or attempt to course-correct, yet Ye’s team waddles more comfortably with the former option.
