Chris Brown Looks Frustrated After Facing Another Set Malfunction On His “11:11” Tour

Chris Brown is currently making his way across North America on his “11:11” tour, and so far, fans are impressed. The hitmaker has left audiences in awe with explosive performances, wild dance moves, and elaborate stunts. Unfortunately, however, he recently ran into some technical difficulties onstage. Earlier this month, he was left stranded in mid-air after some wires got stuck, prompting him to chastise his crew. He was uninjured, though he certainly seemed fed up.

Now, it appears as though he ran into yet another mishap onstage at a recent performance. In a clip making its rounds online, he’s seen closing a song and expecting to be lowered into the stage. Things didn’t play out as he expected, and he got stuck. As a result, he was forced to walk off like normal. He didn’t look happy about it either, though it’s unclear whether or not his team heard about it this time.

Chris Brown Forced To Walk Off Stage After Mishap

Luckily, fans can agree that the small mishap didn’t outshine the rest of the show. He has many more opportunities to make things up too, as his tour is scheduled to run until late summer. Brown is expected to close his “11:11” tour, which also features Ayra Starr and Muni Long, with a performance in LA on August 7.

Aside from his impressive performances, Brown is also offering fans intimate meet-and-greets, allowing them to chat with him and take fun photos. Reportedly, he’s charging up to $1K per person for them, which is certainly no small chunk of change. According to one fan, however, the photo she got with Brown was so up close and personal that it cost her her boyfriend. What do you think of Chris Brown seemingly suffering yet another set malfunction on his “11:11” tour? Missy Elliott Will Continue Touring Despite Graves’ Disease Setbacks

Missy Elliott is in the midst of a career renaissance. The iconic rapper was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2023, and will embark on her first headlining tour in July. The former validated her talents as a musician, and the latter her star power. Unfortunately, health concerns have plagued the rapper over the last 15 years. Missy Elliott was diagnosed with Graves’ Disease in 2008, which led to severe weight loss and dizzy spells. She’s not going to let her diagnosis slow her down, however.

The rapper told People Magazine that she plans to carry out her tour dates without the assistance of medication. She told the outlet that the first three years after her diagnosis were extremely difficult, but she’s learned to overcome it without having to rely on external treatment. “Every day I wake, I’m blessed to be here and in good health,” she conceded. “I’m feeling so much better now. That was a run. Every now and then you get a little ache in the leg or the knee, but outside of that, I feel good.” Missy Elliott divulged the secrets for her medication-less treatment, and they were simpler than one might think.

According to the rapper, a healthy lifestyle changed everything. “Under my doctor s supervision, I’ve been off medication,” she noted. “I’m completely managing the condition thru diet and exercise.” It’s comforting to know that Missy Elliott will be able to fulfill her tour, given how excited she was to do it back in April. “Fans have been asking me to tour forever,” she wrote in a press release. “But I wanted to wait until I felt the time was right. “Because I knew if I was ever going to do it, I had to do it big. And I had to do it with family.” The “family” in question consists of longtime Missy collaborators Ciara, Busta Rhymes, and Timbaland.

Missy Elliott is not letting Graves’ Disease slow her performing. She’s also continuing to make music at an impressive rate. She hasn’t put out an album since The Cookbook in 2005, but she told Variety that she’s sitting on six albums worth of material. “I probably have at least six albums worth of music at this point,” the rapper revealed. “I believe that it’ll be a day that everybody’s going on about their way and then you just look online and see an album date from me. So yeah, I think that’ll happen sooner than later.” It doesn’t sound like the Missy renaissance is ending anytime soon.

Chris Brown Seems To Chastise His Tour Team After Stage Wire Malfunction Leaves Him Stranded In Mid-Air

Chris Brown’s been having a great time on his 2024 tour in support of last year’s album 11:11, but some nights are more frustrating than others. Moreover, a new clip emerged from his Tuesday night (June 11) show in New Jersey, in which technical difficulties during his performance of “Under The Influence” left him stranded in mid-air on suspension wires above dancers who didn’t notice the situation for a while. Eventually, staff arrived with a ladder to help Breezy down, and he unhooked himself and climbed back to safety to crowd cheers. However, he seemed irate, as it looks like he chastised a crew member before continuing his performance for fans.

Of course, this is small potatoes in the face of other conflicts that Chris Brown faced this year, as we know through his Quavo battle how his temper can get. Boosie Badazz recently spoke on this beef, naming Brown’s inclusion of Takeoff in the conversation as the moment when things really ramped up. While things didn’t turn to violence (and hopefully never do), Boosie thinks that this moment warranted that kind of response, or at least seemed to indicate it. It’s never justified, but it does kick things up a notch.

Chris Brown’s Frustrated Reaction To Wire Malfunction At New Jersey Tour Stop

Elsewhere in relation to this tour, Chris Brown is seeing night in and night out how it’s bringing him a lot of success. This is especially relevant in the face of both fans and detractors that think the industry has blackballed him as of late, whether for right or wrong reasons in their eyes. The superstar doesn’t really seem to buy into this narrative either way, since he’s playing packed shows and still captivating audiences worldwide. It’s interesting, however, that he didn’t speak on narratives against him in a more combative way, like he’s done in the past.

This could indicate that the success behind the 11:11 tour, plus constant fan acclaim and engagement, is enough to keep Chris Brown satisfied. It’s a very understandable conclusion, as he remains one of the most beloved, albeit controversial, stars in the realms of rap and R&B. Add onto that the steep profits from meet and greets, and there isn’t much reason to complain. Unless, of course, you’re hanging from a faulty cable and folks don’t come to help you for a while.

Chris Brown Charges Fans $1K For Concert Meet-And-Greets

Chris Brown is one of the best-selling artists of all time. He’s moved over 217 million albums worldwide, and notched countless number ones since he broke out in 2005. He’s also an incredible dancer, which makes his live shows a must for fans. Ticket prices for a Breezy show are nothing head-turning, but it turns out that he more than makes up for it with meet-and-greets. The R&B superstar is believed to be charging fans over $1K to meet with him and take photos after shows.

This revelation came about on June 6. Chris Brown kicked off his 11:11 tour in Detroit, which meant VIP packages were made available to fans. A VIP package that includes a meet-and-greet option for an eye watering $1,111. XXL reported that Brown usually charges $1K flat, but the fee was rounded up to line up with the title of the new album, 11:11. The meet-and-greet comes with additional perks, in case you were wondering. Fans get to meet Breezy, pose for photos, and two signed personal items. They also get early entry to the show, a tour gift, and an 11:11 calendar. It may sound steep, but fans are snatching up these VIP packages left and right. Chris Brown obviously knows his audience.

Chris Brown Has Been Charging This Price For Years

This is not the first time the singer’s meet-and-greet prices have been a talking point. He was criticized when the $1K prices were revealed back in 2022 (yes, he’s been doing it since then). The criticism grew so loud that Chris Brown took to Instagram to address it. He defended the price tag on the grounds that fans aren’t forced to pay these prices. They go VIP because they want to. “PSA,” he wrote. “When artist (everyone) does concerts, they all have something called a VIP package… I have the coolest fans on the planet. I appreciate the f*ck outta them. These are memories that will last them forever.”

Brown also took other artists to task for charging similar prices while blowing off their fans. “Unlike most of these lame a*s artist that won’t make eye contact with the people who made it possible to even have a career,” he wrote. “I only exist because these fans saw something in me I never thought possible. So Ima go all out for my fans!” The singer’s point is validated by the fact that the meet-and-greets are sold out at all of his 11:11 shows. This means Brown will take home a staggering $800K just from meet-and-greets alone.

Chris Brown Questions Notion That He’s Been “Blackballed” At Sold-Out Show: Watch

Earlier this week, Chris Brown kicked off his eagerly anticipated “11:11” tour with a packed performance in Detroit. He graced the stage at Little Caesar’s Arena, performing a variety of his biggest hits, dividing the show into four different parts. From the start of the show, it was clear that Brown had given the tour his all. He performed on a rotating platform, opened with a Michael Jackson voiceover, and more. He even flew over the crowd on wires as they went wild from below.

At one point in the show, the R&B icon addressed the notion that he’s been “blackballed” from the music industry after facing various allegations of violence against women. According to him, it doesn’t appear to be true, based on the size of his Detroit fanbase. “For a n***a they say is blackballed, this don’t look blackballed to me!!!” he shouted while onstage.

Chris Brown Opens “11:11” Tour With Packed Detroit Performance

Brown frequently broaches the subject of being “blackballed” on social media, often suggesting that while the industry itself may want no part of him, fans certainly do. He’s scheduled to bring his “11:11” tour, which also features Muni Long and Ayra Starr, to various other cities across North America in the coming months. Brown will stop in Brooklyn, Montreal, Toronto, Boston, Atlanta, and more before wrapping things up with a performance at LA’s Crypto.com Arena on August 6.

Brown’s comments on getting “blackballed” also follow one of Azealia Banks’ online rants, in which she came to his defense. She questioned why he continues to face criticism for his alleged abuse when others seemingly get a free pass. What do you think of Chris Brown laughing off the notion that he’s been “blackballed” from the industry? What about him opening his tour with a sold-out show in Detroit? Will you be catching the hitmaker live this summer? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Vince Staples Announces “Black In America” Tour

Vince Staples is fresh off the release of his new album Dark Times. The project lives up to both its name and its bleak album cover by taking on serious subject matter throughout. The record is surprisingly soulful given the kinds of topics it dabbles in. The record has been met with acclaim from both fans and critics alike in the wake of its release so its unsurprising that he’s already announced plans to take the project on tour.

Earlier today Vince announced the “Black In America” tour. Later this year starting in October and running into November Vince will play a number of tour dates across North America. He’s hitting up 11 different cities across his new show, many of which feature Baby Rose as the opener. Baby Rose is fresh off of her new Slow Burn EP, a collaboration with jazz outfit BADBADNOTGOOD. Nicki Minaj Announces A Second North American Leg Of The “Pink Friday 2” Tour

Once of the biggest tours of 2024 so far has been Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 world tour. It kicked off back in November with a North American run. The shows made nightly news for the various guests she had on stage with her. Rather than opting for a roster of opening acts she instead chose to have different star guests on in nearly every single city. Now the tour has taken off on a European leg which is racking up sold out shows of its own. She’s sold out more than 30 consecutive arena shows. She’s also continually added more shows in more cities to her impressive run.

Now she’s made one of the most significant additions yet. Earlier today Nicki announced that there will be an entire second North American leg of the tour starting later this year when she returns from overseas. It’s a pretty exciting prospect for Nicki fans that weren’t able to catch her the first time around. How many extra shows she will perform as well as the dates and locations of the shows haven’t been announced yet. Fans can sign up for pre-sale right now and Minaj promises that the tickets themselves will go on sale at some point in the next few days. Check out the announcement she shared below.

Nicki Minaj Extends Her “Pink Friday 2” Tour

The European leg of the “Pink Friday 2” tour kicked off earlier this week. It got started in Amsterdam with yet another sold out show. Minaj will return to the Netherlands next month after a stint in the UK before bouncing all the way across Europe. That leg of the tour will conclude in Belgium in mid-July. Earlier this month Nicki took a break from touring to appear at this year’s MET Gala. She wore a dress that leaned into the events garden theme.

What do you think of Nicki Minaj extended her already massive “Pink Friday 2” tour with even more North American dates? Do you plan on seeing her again or for the first time at any of the newly announced dates? Let us know in the comment section below.

Mariah The Scientist Admits She Felt “Bullied” At The Beginning Of Her Tour

Mariah The Scientist is currently making her way around the U.S. on her first-ever tour in support of her third studio album, To Be Eaten Alive. According to the 26-year-old songstress, while she’s got the hang of things now, it hasn’t always been easy. During a recent interview with Billboard, she reflected on the early stages of the tour, revealing that at times, she felt as though audiences weren’t as receptive as she would have liked.

“I think in the beginning, I didn’t totally know what I was doing,” she explained. “Even if I liked music or liked to sing, I never looked at it as if it was gonna be my career. From the starting point I had no idea what I was doing.” Mariah went on, describing how she felt the need to put in even more effort than she already was to win people over.

Do I feel like I was a little bullied? I just feel like people weren’t that open to knowing the story they just ran off with pieces of information without knowing or lack thereof when it comes to me seeing, growing up and doing that. I just had to work overtime to make it right in real time because I didn’t have that experience. Now I have it and it’s way better,” she said.

Fortunately, it doesn’t appear as though Mariah let criticism stand in her way in the slightest. The To Be Eaten Alive tour is currently scheduled to run into June, with closing dates in Austin, Dallas, and Portsmouth. 50 Cent’s “Final Lap” Tour Surpasses $100M In Ticket Sales, Joining Drake & Kendrick Lamar

50 Cent’s “The Final Lap” tour has been impressive, to say the least, and the hitmaker now has yet another major milestone to celebrate. According to @touringdata on X, it’s become the fourth-ever rap tour to surpass $100M in ticket sales. The feat was previously accomplished by Drake on his “Aubrey & The Three Migos” and “It’s All A Blur” tours, as well as Kendrick Lamar on “The Big Steppers” tour.

Reportedly, Fif’s sold over 1.1M tickets so far, which cost an average of roughly $89 each. 50 Cent has yet to share his reaction to the exciting news online. He has, however, been doing his fair share of promotion in recent months.

50 Cent Becomes Fourth-Ever Rap Act To Surpass $100M In Ticket Sales

Fif first kicked off “The Final Lap” tour in July of last year, performing in countless cities around the world. He’s since received praise from fans and peers alike for his high-octane shows, special guests, and more. Tony Yayo even joined the tour as a supporting act, opening up about the experience in an interview with VladTV in February. He revealed that 50 Cent funded the entire production himself, paying everyone on his team generously, including Yayo.

“His merch is in the millions. He’s an icon,” he described. “You can ask anyone — the people that ran the tour from Live Nation — they’ll tell you, ‘Your favorite rapper can’t do what 50 just did.’” According to Yayo, it was no easy task, as it took a lot to make the shows happen. “Everybody’s coming there, of course, to work for 50, ’cause 50 cuts the budget. But when you think of everything that’s behind it, from production, road management, catering, dancers, f*ckin’ stewardess on the jet, pilots — everybody’s like one big team,” he explained. “And 50 pays for everything.” What do you think of 50 Cent’s impressive tour stats? What about him joining Drake and Kendrick Lamar by surpassing $100M in ticket sales? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.
