The Barbz have shown out for Monica, who is serving as Nicki Minaj’s supporting act on the Pink Friday 2 tour. Minaj’s fanbase had nothing but love for the veteran singer, who performed in an unorthodox midshow break, as opposed to being a true “opener” for Minaj. Fans not only praised Monica, but warned fans unfamiliar with her work to be nice or else during the tour’s run. It’s unclear if Minaj has plans for any surprise guests on the tour.

The Pink Friday 2 tour opened in Oakland to rave reviews from fans. The tour will throughout the next few months, ending with Minaj headlining Wireless Fest in London. “Instead of doing another arena show in London after we sold out in the first week, I opted to do Wireless Festival. This year’s show will be a billion times more special, creative, beautiful, cohesive, ugh! I’m so excited. I’d like to tell you guys thank you in advance. Last year was so meaningful but won’t compare. Just wait & see,” Minaj said of the tour-ending festival set.

Nicki Minaj Fans Chant “F*ck Latto” At Opening Show Of Pink Friday 2 Tour

Meanwhile, The Barbz were out for blood at the tour’s opening show, with members of the audience heard chanting “F-ck Latto” at several points. The animosity towards Latto likely stems from her beef with Ice Spice, who is considered a Minaj “ally” after several collabs between the two. Furthermore, Latto is considered a Cardi B “ally” after the pair collaborated on “Put It On Da Floor Again” last year.

Latto and Spice have been trading blows for the last few weeks. Spice released the diss track “Think You The Sh-t (Fart)” before going after Latto for using her music video footage in a TikTok. Meanwhile, Latto hit back with “Sunday Service” and also referred to Spice as a “little girl” in a clapback post on social media.

Nicki Minaj officially kicked off her Pink Friday 2 tour on Friday (March 1) in Oakland, California, and fans couldn’t be happier with the results. Moreover, the Barbz took to social media to share not just their hype for the trek, but in the case of those who attended, some high praise. For example, many folks remarked on the extensive and versatile setlist, whereas others lauded the production design, outfit changes, Monica’s mid-show slot, and much more. Nicki Minaj Tops Charts Following Cardi B’s “Like What (Freestyle)” Release

The first performance of Nicki Minaj’s eagerly-anticipated world tour in support of Pink Friday 2 is only hours away, and as expected, the Barbz are out in full force showing her love online. The femcee will kick things off with a show in Oakland tonight (March 1), before moving on to cities like Denver, Vegas, Phoenix, LA, and more. In total, Nicki is expected to make more than 50 stops across the U.S., Canada, and Europe before closing out the tour in July.

Of course, fans have gone all out to support Nicki as she embarks on the tour, even getting one of her tracks to top the charts. “Pink Friday Girls” is now No. 1 on iTunes, months after its release. It’s now Nicki’s 44th song to reach No. 1 on iTunes, beating her own record and cementing her place as the rapper with the most No. 1 songs in iTunes history.

Nicki Minaj Secures 44th No. 1 Song On iTunes

Conveniently enough, the track also reached No. 1 just in time for the release of one of her biggest rival’s new releases, Cardi B’s “Like What (Freestyle).” Cardi unveiled the song earlier today alongside a fun accompanying video directed by Offset. This isn’t the first time the two rap divas’ fanbases have weaponized their respective fave’s music, however. When Nicki first released Pink Friday 2 back in December, Cardi B’s 2018 debut Invasion of Privacy began climbing the charts, coming in just below Nicki’s project.

It’s unclear whether or not this was intentional on the Barbz’s part, or just a simple coincidence amid the start of Nicki’s tour. Ja Rule has responded to 50 Cent trolling him for being denied entry to the United Kingdom. He announced that his Sunrise Tour was in jeopardy due to his criminal past in a statement on social media, earlier this week. His longtime rival 50 Cent quickly began making jokes at his expense.

“Hahahahahaha I did not have nothing to do with this b*tch not getting in. LOL,” 50 wrote in one post. In another, he added: “LMAO. I got juice all over the place sucker!” Rule eventually tagged 50 on Twitter in response: “@50cent N***a you p*ssy shut up…”

Ja Rule explained his situation in a lengthy post on Twitter on Tuesday, just days ahead of when the tour was scheduled to begin. “I’m so devastated I can’t believe the UK won’t let me in,” he wrote. “I’ve spent a half million dollars in production of my own money to put this tour together only to be denied entry DAYS before my shows this is not fair to me or my fans these venues are 85% sold and now I can’t come. The UK is one of the few European countries that restricts entry to people with criminal records. In general, you will likely be denied entry if you have been convicted of a crime punishable by 23 months or more under British law or served more than 12 months in prison.” Check out Rule’s response to 50 Cent below.

21 Savage Announces Tour For “American Dream” With JID, Nardo Wick & More

2024 is clearly 21 Savage’s year, and he just gave fans another reason as to why it’s his for the taking. Moreover, he just announced The American Dream tour in North America in support of his new album of the same title, running from all of May to mid-June. Not only that, but the Slaughter Gang rapper will hit the stage along with fellow ATLiens JID and 21 Lil Harold, as well as Jacksonville’s own Nardo Wick. If you’re interested in going, it will kick off on May 1 in Vancouver and will wrap up with a hometown show in Atlanta on June 15. Furthermore, the presale goes live on Thursday (February 29) at an unspecified time, with the password “DREAMTOUR” getting you access.

In addition to all the hype surrounding 21 Savage’s american dream, this also completes a full promo rollout for the big release. For example, he recently performed on Saturday Night Live with special guests, which is a much more controlled performance environment. As such, fans are more excited to see the London native in a full tour setting again, just like his recent It’s All A Blur run with Drake. Speaking of the U.K., fans wonder whether The American Dream tour will include a European leg.

But a lot of other places want to hear what he can bring to a full arena, especially with this new album’s material in mind. However, a lot of fans also wondered what extra antics or spectacles would accompany their solid performances, and they certainly weren’t disappointed by the results. Moreover, a video surfaced online on Friday (February 16) of the 6ix God using a massive bucket to slime a fan, referencing his For All The Dogs SZA collab, “Slime You Out.”

Not only that, but Drake also recently took some time to address his skeleton outfit for this tour, which many fans clowned on. “Everybody had jokes yesterday, asking why I wore the spine out here,” he told the crowd at his second Tampa show of the trek. “I wore the spine because most of these guys that I look in the eyes are spineless as f**k so I had to wear the whole backbone. Drake just kicked off the joint J. Cole tour Big As The What? in Tampa on Friday (February 2), for which you can find the setlist here. While fans loved it and had so many amazing moments to chew on, they also found plenty of reasons to have a laugh. Moreover, one of the main ones was the bizarre outfit that he chose to wear to open the trek, which is an expansion of his previous It’s All A Blur tour with 21 S*vage. From footage below, you can see that Drizzy wore some sort of spine on his back, or maybe the back of a stegosaurus, or something else entirely that we’re just missing.

Furthermore, maybe you might’ve expected this to be a designer look, but there’s no info on any of that so far.
