One of the best sneakers ever made is the Nike Air Force 1 Low. Overall, there is a case to be made that this is the best sneaker ever made. After all, it is the first shoe that Nike ever decided to retro. Moreover, it has been kicking ever since 1982 and has a huge presence in pop culture. Although the triple-white and triple-black colorways are the most popular, the shoe certainly has a large library of offerings. In fact, Nike continues to pump out Air Force 1s as they remain a top seller.

Throughout 2023 especially, the Nike Air Force 1 Low has been able to maintain its exceptional reputation. Last year, Nike celebrated the shoe’s 40th birthday in style. However, the festivities have not died down. Instead, new colorways are continuously being shown off online. Deshaun Watson Sends Message To His Doubters

Deshaun Watson’s debut with the Cleveland Browns was rather forgetful. However, the Browns quarterback did have more than football to deal with. Watson has been accused of sexually abusing multiple women during his time with the Houston Texans. The alleged abuse was between Watson and over 20 different masseuses. The alleged incidents forced the NFL to suspend Watson for only eleven games last season. Add those eleven games to the full season Watson missed a year prior, and the former Clemson QB was out of action for a very long time.

Watson’s return last year showed that the former Heisman Trophy winner was more than rusty. The first-year Browns QB appeared in six games, throwing just seven touchdowns. Many believe the Browns decision to bring Watson in may be one of the biggest mistakes in league history. However, that isn’t even something Watson is currently thinking about. In his appearance with the media on Tuesday, Watson was asked about those who doubt that he can still play the game at a high level.

Deshaun Watson Isn’t Worried About The Doubters

“I don’t say anything. That’s their own opinions. I know who I am. This organization knows who I am. At the end of the day, I have the opportunity to prove (myself).” Watson told the media that he has no opinion on what the doubters say. Mentioning that only he can prove that he still has what it takes to be successful. However, the Browns and Watson have to be feeling the pressure. At the time of Watson’s arrival in Cleveland, he was the highest-paid player in the NFL.

However, the accusations against Watson shouldn’t be forgotten. Every person who claims to be a victim of these alleged crimes should be heard and respected for what they are saying. There is no place for sexual assault in this world. Because Watson is a famous athlete, doesn’t mean he should get a free pass. However, not a lot is being said on the issue as time continues to pass. Watson’s legal issues are still heavily involved in his personal life. However, one day the truth shall be told to all. YG & Saweetie Dating Rumours Run Rampant After Coachella Weekend One

There were plenty of noteworthy moments to come from Coachella weekend one, and even more are sure to follow in the coming days with the festival’s second and final round. While much of the focus was on the performers – namely headlining acts Bad Bunny, BLACKPINK, and Frank Ocean – the celebrities in attendance also caused a stir. Not only did Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet make headlines for failing to officially debut as a couple, but now, YG and Saweetie are also sparking dating rumours.

The two California natives have actually been connected for some time, though they’ve managed to keep their situation lowkey. Saweetie was at YG’s birthday party in March, which is when gossip first began to fly, though no official confirmation came with it. According to @thejasminebrand, they spent their time at Coachella cozying up together, though no photographic evidence has surfaced online quite yet. Seeing as the pair have previously collaborated with Tyga on “Money Mouf” and Mozzy on “In My Face,” it’s not surprising to see them link up romantically.

Does Saweetie Have a New Man?

What is a bit shocking, however, are the rumours that YG gives his Icy Girl a “blank check” every month so she can spend to her heart’s desire. “He apparently has a black card with a ridiculously high credit limit,” AllHipHop alleges. “She’s not there for his money, supposedly,” the outlet added, which makes sense seeing as Saweetie’s got plenty of her own racks.

Prior to this new rumoured romance, Saweetie was briefly linked to both Lil Baby and Damson Idris, though nothing serious ever transpired. Her last long-term high-profile relationship was with Quavo, and many hip-hop heads were sad to see them part ways. As for YG, he and Kehlani spent some time together a few years back, and he also dated Keke Palmer from 2014 to 2015. Revisit one of the alleged couple’s collaborative tracks below, and check back later for more hip-hop news updates.

The Best Girl Groups Of The 90s

Plenty of music fans are huge admirers of musicians in the 1990s. This is especially true for girl groups, as more than enough of them were clamoring to be the best on the charts. In addition, there was diversity among the popular girl groups of the time. Some were strictly R&B, while others combined their music with a more mainstream pop sound. Either way, these iconic groups from the ’90s have songs we still sing along to today.

Luckily, many of the best girl groups from the ’90s are still around today. Some are still touring and even appearing on reality TV, while others may not be together. However, social media allows fans to keep up with their favorite members. Of course, most groups don’t last forever. Thankfully, we have their catalogs to revisit anytime we want. Here are four groups of the 1990s that were set apart from their contemporaries.

TLC

By and large, TLC is considered one of the best girl groups of the 1990s. Made up of T-Boz, Chilli, and Left Eye, the group released its first album in 1992. Delivered by La Face Records, Oooooooh… on the TLC Tip spawned the hit singles “What About Your Friends” and “Ain’t 2 Proud 2 Beg.” It became certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA after selling four million copies by 1996. The group followed up its debut album with 1994’s CrazySexyCool, which contained the hit “Waterfalls” and became their biggest-selling LP.

Despite the success, TLC was bound to continue to climb the charts but also experience personal and professional turmoil. Their second biggest album, Fanmail, came out in 1999. It contained the career-defining “No Scrubs,” which Kandi Burruss wrote. To date, the album has sold over 10 million copies worldwide. Unfortunately, Left Eye passed away on April 25, 2002, due to a vehicle accident in Honduras. Since then, TLC has released two albums, 3D in 2002, which Left Eye was a part of, and a self-titled album in 2017. Chilli and T-Boz still perform as TLC today.

Xscape

Xscape is easily one of the best ’90s girl groups. Made up of Tiny, Kandi, Tamika, and LaTocha, Xscape released its first album, Hummin’ Comin’ At ‘Cha, in 1993 on Columbia Records. The album featured the hits “Just Kickin’ It” and “Understanding.” Xscape differed from the other girl groups of the ’90s because they had a more grounded aesthetic. Additionally, all four group members sang lead, which was not usually the case. They followed up the album two years later with Off The Hook. It featured the hit “Who Can I Run To.”

Today, Xscape is still an active group. Not only does the group still tour, but they are heavily involved with reality television. They recently did a show on Bravo called Queens of R&B with fellow 90s girl group SWV. However, the group has also experienced quite a bit of drama recently, leading to LaTocha’s release of a solo gospel album and not being part of the group. It should be noted that she still considers herself a member of Xscape. The other three members have discussed making new music in the near future.

SWV

You can’t discuss girl groups from the 90s without talking about SWV. The group’s first album, It’s About Time, was released by RCA Records in 1992. It featured the hits “Right Here/Human Nature” and “Weak.” SWV, comprised of Coko, Tamara, and Lelee, later revealed that Michael Jackson gave them clearance to sample him on “Right Here.” This shows his respect for their artistry early in their career.

To date, SWV released six albums, including a Christmas LP in 1997. It should be noted that the group didn’t release its proper second album until 1996 with New Beginning. This famous ’90s girl group has sold over 25 million units worldwide, with 11 million being album sales. Currently, SWV has over 3 million monthly listeners on Spotify. As mentioned, SWV is no stranger to reality TV, and they still tour today. Further, they released new albums in 2012 and 2016.

Destiny’s Child

You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone saying Destiny’s Child isn’t among the best girl groups from the ’90s. Though the group shifted members, the lasting members were Beyoncé, Kelly, and Michelle. To date, Destiny’s Child has sold over 60 million units worldwide. Some of the group’s biggest singles are “Bills, Bills, Bills,” “Survivor,” “Say My Name,” and “Independent Women, Pt. 1.”

After Destiny’s Child went on hiatus, they pursued successful solo careers. Kelly Rowland released her first album in 2002 with Simply Deep. Though not a huge seller, it featured the hit “Dilemma” with Nelly. Then, Beyoncé released her first solo album in 2003 with Dangerously in Love. She has become one of the most influential artists of all time. Michelle has succeeded in gospel, pop, and acting. In addition, the ladies performed together at the Super Bowl Halftime show in 2013.

OutKast Have Lost Out On $100 Million Amid Hiatus, Big Gipp Claims

OutKast has lost out on $100 million in pure revenue from performing live, Big Gipp estimated during a recent interview. Speaking with VladTV, the Goodie Mob rapper explained why he believes Andre 3000 has mostly stepped away from music since the release of 2003’s Speakerboxxx/The Love Below.

“What people don’t understand is when he did ‘Hey Ya,’ it put him into the stratosphere next to an artist like Lenny Kravitz,” Big Grip said. “Now, you in that Rock & Roll hierarchy. People are looking at you like, ‘Wow, you just went and damn near did some shit like The Beatles and put some rap shit on it!’

He continued: “So, the industry was like, ‘Boy, if you give us 10 more of these hoes, whew!’ It was almost like coming from just being a famous rapper to now you in them Lenny Kravitz boots. It was like, ‘Oh, shit. This is a whole nother’ thing.’ So, all of the press that came along with him being able to turn into this artist, and having to take on the workload of having to be an artist at this stage, it made him be like, ‘Damn this shit.’ That’s why it took him so long to go on stage and perform the album because it was so big at the time, bro. They probably turned down $100 million just on shows.”

Outkast did reunite in 2014 for a 20th-anniversary tour, during which they performed at 40 festivals worldwide. One of the highest-paying opportunities Outkast reportedly turned down was the Super Bowl halftime show in 2015, a decision that boiled down to creative differences. “We had two songs, ‘The Way You Move’ and ‘Hey Ya,’ and Dre didn’t want to split the songs up. He didn’t want to cut the songs. He wanted to do both songs. They was like, ‘Y’all can’t do it,’” Big Boi recalled during an appearance on ESPN’s The Dan LeBatard Show at the time.

Gilbert Arenas’ Honest Take On LeBron James

Gilbert Arenas’ latest appearance on the I Am Athlete podcast has given fans plenty to discuss this week. However, Arenas’ latest take is a refreshing discussion on a topic that is overly discussed. The show got to the point of discussing the GOAT of the NBA. A debate that can grow tiresome in record timing. However, Arenas has a different mindset on just how one should value great players. Including Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James. Arenas, like many, believe these players can’t be put into one particular bubble.

“We’ve never actually seen LeBron James for LeBron James.” That was the biggest quote taken away from the discussion on the greatest players in league history. Arenas claims fans haven’t seen James for the player he is. Because many are too busy trying to compare him to someone else. Comparing athletes of different time periods has always been a fool’s game. Even comparing players of different positions should be an impossible task. However, James will always be linked to Michael Jordan.

Gilbert Arenas Respects LeBron For The Player He Is

Arenas makes a great point in the clip above when discussing the legacy of James. James’ ability to create for others is more of a comparison to Magic Johnson rather than Jordan. However, Arenas understands that James will always be compared to Jordan. Because that’s who the media wanted James to be from the moment he joined the league. Now, it’s time for the media and fans to admire James for the player he has always been. A player that wants to make everyone around him better.

However, Arenas didn’t deny that James can take over a game like Jordan if needed. Arenas recalls the Finals in which James had to give everything when Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving went down. James’ performance during that Finals could have made him the second player to earn Finals MVP as a member of the losing team. Do you agree with Gilbert Arenas on his opinion of LeBron James? Let us know in the comment section. For the latest NBA news, keep it right here with HNHH.
