Future Steals The Show On Meek Mill-led “Giving Chanel”

Meek Mill has been made fun of a ton lately as fans continue to put his sexuality in question. This is happening because of the rumors circling that him and Diddy were in a relationship. Trolls are also having a time of it, especially after Meek Mill shouted out Future on Twitter for his verse on “Giving Chanel.” This track can be found on the Philadelphia rapper’s latest EP.

HEATHENISM is Mill’s five-track project that released this past weekend. The only other feature to be found is Fivio Foreign on “Whatever I Want.” Future and Meek have been collaborators for years. Their working relationship dates back to 2013 when they, along with Fabolous worked on the Dreamchasers 3 cut “Money Ain’t No Issue.”

Listen To “Giving Chanel” By Meek Mill & Future

On this latest joint offering though, Future absolutely dominates “Giving Chanel.” His verse takes up the bulk of the runtime. However, he manages to be entertaining throughout his performance. Hendrix’s fast-paced flow is stank-face inducing and he adds some cool cadences as well. For example, when he rhymes words with long “e” sounds he really draws out the vowel sound. You can check out the HEATHENISM track above.

What are your thoughts on this brand-new song, “Giving Chanel,” by Meek Mill and Future? Is this the best track from HEATHENISM why or why not? What is your favorite element of the song and why? Who had the stronger performance? We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Meek Mill and Future. Finally, stay with us for the most informative song posts throughout the week.

Quotable Lyrics:

I got them hitters with me, brought a whole lot of switches with me like I’m back in the trenches
I took the street route when I wake up and leave out, I can throw on Givenchy
I’m in the back of the ‘Bach with a ‘Bach followin’ me with a Rolls behind
I got the Mac on the side of me, rackys, and I’m rich as a athlete
I don’t know how to talk back to the police, I get caught with a whole ki’
Whippin’ a Bimmer, I’m rockin a Rollie, havin’ trap money, low-key

Russell Simmons Thanks Usher For Paying Him A Visit, Fans Go Wild With Theories

Russell Simmons is spending a lot of time in Bali doing yoga, and it looks like a special someone recently popped by to visit him. Moreover, he recently shared a couple of new posts and pictures on Instagram of Usher’s recent visit, which really lifted his spirits. However, people in the comments had a lot to unpack, both due to the music executive’s past alleged crimes concerning sexual misconduct and the R&B star’s implicit mention in a lawsuit against Diddy accusing the Bad Boy mogul of similar behavior. In addition, some took issue with a child’s opened legs in one of the pictures, especially as it relates to this background.

“[Red heart emoji] Morning flow with a bunch of really happy Bali friends,” Russell Simmons captioned his Instagram post. “The generosity of spirit exuded by my friend @usher was amazing. Fyi people were / are always so happy to be in his presence… So when I / they practice with him its a honor.” The former Def Jam boss’ industry ties, such as with the Confessions artist, became significantly smaller upon various claims of sexual assault and other crimes.

“When I was at the lowest point in my life i woke up and this man was sitting by my bed,” Russell Simmons continued in another IG post’s caption. “I had known usher since he was a kid but we really bonded because of our mutual love for self discovery and our belief in Yogic science as a direct route to realizing Gods [consciousness] in ourselves. People remember to remember this… a friend walks in when others walk out. I will never forget the generosity of spirit i witnessed in this man. God bless you baby bro @usher [praying hands emoji] love you !!!!”

Meanwhile, the Super Bowl halftime show performer’s yet to respond publicly to the Diddy suit. In a recently resurfaced clip, he actually speaks on a wild experience he had while living with Sean Combs at age 13. This falls under darker context now, and this show of solidarity is also raising eyebrows. With that in mind, keep checking in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Russell Simmons.

Metro Boomin Angrily Responds To Viral Video Of Him Sniffing Woman’s Fingers

Metro Boomin’s Twitter is easily his most used social media platform, and one that’s resulted in plenty of viral moments so far. For example, his old tweets about J. Cole went viral after reports emerged that the two began to work together. But the legendary producer isn’t always very receptive to this Internet clout, especially as it relates to things about him that he doesn’t post himself. Moreover, he responded to a viral video of him sniffing a woman’s fingers at a cookout in annoyed and frustrated fashion. “If Young Metro don’t trust you, it ain’t good coochie,” the female in question captioned her post.

In the clip, Metro Boomin smells the woman’s index and middle fingers and nods approvingly. “I can’t even lie, can’t even lie,” he says in the video. “I was trying to focus in on the smell in my mind, but it’s just like, there wasn’t no smell.” “u so lame enjoy the clout,” the St. Louis native replied to the repost. “n***a you know it was just joke/skit that you agreed to do…” she responded. “this video went viral yrs ago ….. your ppl the one who sent it to me..” However, as much as this is a pretty cumbersome situation for him if his side of the story is the true one, it’s nothing compared to his distaste for misinformation.

Metro Boomin Reacts To Viral Video Of Him Smelling Woman’s Fingers

Furthermore, Metro Boomin had previously used his Twitter this year to call out folks falsely speaking on YSL’s arrested attorney. For those unaware, authorities arrested Nicole Fegan, one of the collective’s legal representatives, for alleged gang activity. The “Feel The Fiyaaaah” beatsmith took issue with how folks were wrongly assuming that Fegan was a part of Young Thug’s legal team, which is not the case. Whether it’s through his music, performances, or Internet watchdog shifts, he’s always going to defend Thugger.

Meanwhile, the 30-year-old’s fans can also get very rowdy online, as a select few allegedly harassed a social media user over comments on anime. It’s something that he actually got roped into as well, which wasn’t the best look. But it’s all Internet drama at the end of the day, so it’s hard to know what’s really going on. For more news and the latest updates on Metro Boomin, log back into HNHH.

Tubi’s ‘Boarders’ Trailer Shows Black Teens at a UK Boarding School in New Coming of Age British Dramedy

Tubi’s ‘Boarders’ Trailer Shows Black Teens at a UK Boarding School in New Coming of Age British Dramedy

Tubi is bringing more British television to the US side of their streaming platform with the first trailer for Boarders, an upcoming series originally aired on BBC in the UK. As reported by Shadow and Act, viewers can expect all six episodes to premiere exclusively on Tubi beginning March 8. Boarders is penned by BAFTA-nominated screenwriter Daniel Lawrence Taylor. Here’s the official series synopsis:

BOARDERS is a high-energy, warm and funny coming of age drama which follows the lives of five Black inner city school teenagers who find themselves on scholarships to one of Britain’s oldest and most prestigious boarding schools, St. Gilberts. The series will see these students navigate a new world, forming new friendships while also going on journeys of self-discovery.

This series seems like an excellent addition to the content playing field for the culture showing another side to the Black experience albeit from over the pond in the UK.

The cast includes young Black talent Josh Tedeku as Jaheim, Jodie Campbell as Leah, Myles Kamwendo as Omar, Sekou Diaby as Toby and Aruna Jalloh as Femi.

Studio Lambert produces the series in association with All3Media International for the BBC. Taylor is executive producing alongside Madeline Sinclair and Susan Hogg along with the BBCs’s Nawfal Faizullah and Ayela Butt.

“I’m beyond excited that Tubi is bringing Boarders to North America,” Taylor said in a statement. “This is a quintessentially British coming-of-age school show with big universal themes of belonging, achievement, first crushes, forging friendships, and awkward sexual encounters that will hit home as hard for the North American audiences as it does for us Brits. It is jam-packed with exciting new talent both in front of and behind the camera and is filled with humour, pathos, and straight up joy. I know the Tubi audience will love watching it as much as I loved creating it.”

EXCLUSIVE: Tierra Whack Reveals Will Smith Is Her Uncle

Tierra Whack Reveals Will Smith Is Her Uncle

Tierra Whack is getting to release her highly-anticipated debut album titled WORLD WIDE WHACK… and she’s celebrating all over the country in true Tierra Whack style.

On Sunday, March 3rd, the Philadelphia native celebrated the project by hosting a release party exhibition in Los Angeles, allowing fans to enter the surrealist world of Whack in real time. In collaboration with conceptual artist Alex Da Corte, the two Philly natives partnered to bring WORLD WIDE WHACK to life, creating a visual art project that showcases a day in the life of Whack’s fictional character.

The Source had the opportunity to chat with Tierra Whack about the moment she fell in love with Hip-Hop, as she struggled to name her favorite Lauryn Hill song. This served as the first event, with album listenings in New York and Philly to conclude.

What was the moment you fell in love with Hip-Hop?

When I heard The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Top the bottom, my favorite album of all time. It will never change.

Favorite song off the album?

No, I can’t choose! Don’t make me do that…I can’t. I can’t choose. I know each and every song top to bottom. [gasps]

Favorite song right now?

“Nothing Even Matters.” No, “To Zion.” No, “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You.” No, “Everything is Everything.” I’ll do that one. I’ll label that one.

For Philly one time, how was it being with Meek Mill and Kevin Hart?

Yo, Kevin is hilarious in real life. You gotta just hang with them, you gotta be around him. He is exactly how he is on screen, in person. And Meek is my brother, that’s forever family.

Best memory of being with Willow in Paris?

Me and Willow were just eating at a restaurant, cracking up and laughing at everything. We’re people watching and being crazy. She’s so cool. That’s my cousin, so family.

Blood cousin?

Yeah. Will [Smith] is my uncle.
