After Darius Jackson lashed out at Keke Palmer for attending Usher’s Las Vegas residency in a sexy Givenchy dress, it became evident that trouble was afoot in their relationship. The pair welcomed their first child together, Leodis Adrellton Jackson, in early 2023, and have spent the time since navigating life as new parents. It’s obviously not an easy journey for anyone, but from Palmer’s social media posts, she made it seem as though her boyfriend made for an excellent co-parent and support system.
Unfortunately, we now know that mental and physical abuse was taking place between Leodis’ parents. According to PEOPLE, a close source made it clear that Palmer gave her man “a lot of chances” before deciding to file for a restraining order this past week. “[Keke] did what she had to do,” they told the outlet. “She gave him a lot of chances to do the right thing. Keke tried so hard to have an amicable split and arrangement [custody].”
The Chicago native has since been granted sole custody of her son, after filing documents alleging Jackson of several forms of disturbing behaviour. According to Palmer, he previously spoke about empathizing with animals who eat their young, and once practically played tug of war with her over Leodis during an angry attempt to change the months-old baby’s diaper. The details surfacing so far are chilling, but still, Darius seems confident that he’ll be seeing his little boy again before long.
The year is definitely off to a tumultuous end for Keke Palmer and her fractured family, but on the bright side, at least she and Leodis got to enjoy their first Halloween together before all hell broke loose with Darius Jackson. Fans have been eagerly anticipating Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s collaborative LP for time now. They were left disappointed last week when various promotional Instagram posts for the project were erased, prompting rumors that it might be scrapped altogether. Their previously announced listening parties were also cancelled in October, only compounding speculation.
Luckily for those awaiting the drop, Ty Dolla Sign has now provided an update on the album, seemingly confirming that the project will be released after all. According to him, listeners won’t have to wait much longer either. He revealed that he’s been in the studio with Ye in Saudi Arabia as of late, working on his portion of the joint LP. “I just landed on a flight from Saudi Arabia,” he explained. “I’ve been out there recording a part of my album with my brother Ye. And that’s coming real soon.”

At the end of last month, J Prince shared that he also ventured to the Middle East, and got a preview of the Chicago native’s upcoming solo album. According to him, it’s sounding great. “Nice listening to some of the new album with the homies in Saudi Arabia,” he said. “It’s hot. One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Full of Respect, Structure, and Peace.”

Doja Cat‘s fans are currently spiraling after the singer posted a cryptic video to her Instagram, with nothing but the caption “Out Monday.” The clip finds Doja (as her red-painted Scarlet altar-ego) interviewing the seemingly regular Doja, mirroring the style of a late-night television show.
“This might be a silly question,” Doja asks herself from the hosting desk in the skit. “Do you appreciate the people and the fans who support your music?”
The video then cuts to Doja dressed up, as she sits on the stage. A thought bubble version of herself appears right above. “I hate my fans,” she says, speaking from her inner thoughts. “My fans are dumb.” Instead of saying that out loud, she just answers, “Yeah,” as the audience cheers.
While it’s still unclear exactly what this teaser is for, Doja’s fans seem to believe that it’s likely for a new music video. Some have speculated possibly for “F*ck The Girls (FTG),” “Shutcho,” or something else entirely.

Deetranada is a Baltimore-based rapper who has been uploading music onto social media platforms since she was a child. After finishing as a runner-up on The Rap Game, she released Adolescence Swim. Since then, she has put out multiple albums (seven are available on Apple Music). Deetranada’s most streamed song on Spotify, “ATTITUDE!” is off her 2019 album, DEEvsEVERYBODY!, and it has over one million streams. Most recently, she unloaded her latest album, Nada. She also uploads her music on YouTube, where she has close to 200k subscribers.
King Roscoe did not wait long to utilize the fame that season 3 of The Rap Game afforded him. He collaborated with the show’s winner, Nova, on a track titled “Add It Up.” He also released “No L’s Round Here” and his EP, Highly Underrated in the same year. Many of his subsequent releases have been on YouTube, rather than on conventional streaming platforms.
Since 2022, King Roscoe has released music under the name Dreek Jones. His most recent project, Dreek Jones, came out this year, and it comprises eight songs. This marked his first full-length release on streaming platforms under his new moniker.

Currently signed to Roc Nation, Flau’jae seems to be juggling rap and basketball just fine. The LSU athlete was also dubbed the 2023 SEC Freshman of the Year. Tally was a part of the second and third seasons of The Rap Game. In the second season, however, she was eliminated in the first episode. Tally came back for the third season but left again in the 12th episode. Since that time, she has rebranded as a beauty and fashion influencer. She recently got married and went on a honeymoon to Mexico. Earlier in her career, not long after leaving The Rap Game, Tally formed 2XO with her sister. Together, they created “Summer Love” and “Blame It on You.” However, the duo has not put out any music in a while.

Rodgers Making Millions From Pat McAfee Show Appearances

According to a New York Post report last month, Rodgers is making at least seven figures a year for his weekly segment on Pat McAfee’s ESPN show. Rodgers has made a weekly Monday appearance on McAfee’s show ever since he moved to ESPN in September. “Aaron has made over $1,000,000 with us, for sure,” McAfee told the Post via direct message. It’s unknown if Alabama coach Nick Saban, who also does a weekly segment, is also paid to appear.
Many of Rodgers’ major offseason revelations were made on McAfee’s show, both before and after it moved to ESPN. Trade rumors, the darkness retreat, his aggressive rehab plan. All of those happened on McAfee’s show. Of course, there’s no rule against Rodgers getting paid for media appearances. However, it takes some of the veneer off McAfee’s brand.
