DaBaby Flexes His Status On “Red Light Green Light”

It’s a busy season for DaBaby and his camp. Last week, DaBaby surprised fans with his “Ball If I Want To” single, a release that came complete with a high school-themed music video. The rapper isn’t finished delivering new music as he returned on Friday (June 25) with another drop, this time in the form of a track titled “Red Light Green Light.”

Like “Ball If I Want To,” DaBaby stands alone on the track and for an artist known for his hit collaborations, fans are suspecting that we’ll be receiving a full-length project sooner than later. DaBaby has made headlines in recent days due to his dealings with both Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion, but the North Carolina rapper has stayed on his grind and attempts to dodge as much of the drama as he can.

Stream “Red Light Green Light” and let us know what you think of DaBaby’s latest offering.

Quotable Lyrics

Rate me, one out of ten, they gon’ say ten (Say ten)
Threw that bad b*tch on camera, let bae in (Okay)
Who that is back to back, ho, that’s Baby
Can’t do no shows, he fills stadiums

Coi Leray Links With Kodak Black & Mustard For “At The Top”

What other way is there to celebrate graduating high school than by releasing a new single? On Thursday (June 24), 24-year-old Coi Leray revealed that she has completed one of her goals by getting her high school diploma. The singer said on “No More Parties” that she’s only concerned with things that will help her “elevate,” and she’s stuck to her word.

On Friday (June 25), Coi returned with “At The Top,” a single that features an assist from Kodak Black and Mustard. The Florida rapper has been doing a bit of celebrating of his own in recent weeks as his birthday was not too long ago, and he united with Leray and DJ Mustard in hopes of crafting the next big hit. Stream “At The Top” and let us know if you think it’s a banger.

Quotable Lyrics

Yeah, screamin’, “Free my n*ggas”, yeah, f*ck the law
Yeah, now we at the mall, yeah, buy it all

Yeah, my brother keep it with ’em, he don’t play at all

Logic Returns With Young Sinatra Favorites On “YS Collection Vol. 1”

They include Young Sinatra, Young Sinatra: Undeniable, and Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever, and earlier this week, Logic announced that many of the songs would finally make their way to DSPs. It’s taken the rapper some time to get things squared away behind the scenes, but he was excited to share the news with fans.

“It’s taken us years but we finally cleared songs from over ten years ago for the fans to enjoy!” he wrote on Instagram. “Many of you for the first time. The YS Collection is compiled of songs from the Young Sinatra mixtape series. You’ve asked me for years and I’m happy to say it’s finally here! Available everywhere Friday #RattPack.”

Rihanna Turned The Matching Shark Tattoo She Got With Drake Into A Crown

Rihanna might not have given fans a new album yet, but she’s has given them a new romance to fawn over. The singer and ASAP Rocky are the music world’s latest couple and their respective supporters got a decent glimpse at the lovebirds as they were seen walking together on their way to a date in New York City. While many had their eyes on the musicians, their outfits, and even a bouncer for a bar who refused to let the singer in because she forgot her ID, some noticed something small, yet fairly interesting, about Rihanna.

An image of the singer revealed that she turned the matching shark tattoo she received with Drake into a crown. She got the tattoo around September 2016 and weeks later Drake was seen with a matching one on his right arm. This of course occurred when Drake and Rihanna were dating and shared their respective collaborations “Too Good” and “Work.” While it’s unknown when the singer modified the tattoo, Rihanna’s fans had plenty to say about it in a number of posts they shared on Twitter.

One person wrote, “OOP! Rihanna covered up the shark tattoo she got for/with Drake” while another said, “Rihanna covered the shark tattoo…. I know Drake somewhere out there bawling his eyes out.”

As for the new couple that is Rihanna and ASAP Rocky, the latter spoke about the relationship in light detail during a GQ interview. The rapper labeled her as “the love of my life” and dove a bit deeper when he was asked how it feels to be in a relationship. “So much better,” he said. “So much better when you got the One. She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones.”

Britney Spears Apologizes For ‘Pretending Like I’ve Been OK’ Following Her Conservatorship Hearing

Brintey Spears saw fans rush to her defense once again on Wednesday after details of her conservatorship hearing were made available to the public. It was here that the singer spoke to a judge for the first time in the thirteen years that conservatorship has existed and asked that it be terminated. She labeled it as “abusive” and added, “I’ve been in denial. I’ve been in shock. I am traumatized. I just want my life back.” She also detailed the restrictive lifestyle it forced her to live.

Her comments resulted in an outpour of support from the music world, which included her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake. On Thursday, for the first time since that hearing, Spears spoke out in a message she shared on Instagram.

“I’m bringing this to peoples attention because I don’t want people to think my life is perfect because IT’S DEFINITELY NOT AT ALL,” she wrote in part under an image that displayed a quote written by Albert Einstein. “And if you have read anything about me in the news this week [newspaper emoji]… you obviously really know now it’s not !!!!

“I apologize for pretending like I’ve been ok the past two years,” Spears wrote. “I did it because of my pride and I was embarrassed to share what happened to me … but honestly who doesn’t want to capture there Instagram in a fun light.” She concluded, “Believe it or not pretending that I’m ok has actually helped.”

Mary J. Blige Rejects Idea Of “Verzuz”: “That’s Not On The Top Of My List”

Fans of Verzuz haven’t been quiet about their desire to see Mary J. Blige take to the stage. Over the past year or so, fans have been begging to see the Queen of Hp-Hop Soul share just a handful of her favorite hits, however, who her opponent may be has been called into question. Recently, there were rumors that Toni Braxton and Mary J. Blige would unite for a Verzuz on July 4, however, Verzuz quickly swooped in to lay the gossip to rest.

“We love both ladies, but this is not a confirmed #VERZUZ event,” Verzuz shared earlier this week. “Please stay tuned for upcoming announcements on our future shows.”

During her recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, Blige was asked if she would consider making an appearance on the popular series. “I don’t know what a Verzuz would do for me,” she said with a laugh. The hosts told her it isn’t about her, but for fans to celebrate her career and catalog. The singer laughed along with them but didn’t seem interested.

“I’m not sure what a Verzuz could do for Mary J. Blige right now, but um, right now, it’s not something that’s on the top of my list.” Fans are disappointed, but they seemed to understand her position. Check out the clip below.
