Diddy’s Baby Mother Dana Tran Appears To Support Him By Wearing “Love” Ring

While most celebrities are keeping quiet amid the Diddy scandal as fans react to its developments, some of them have spoken out against him or even defended him. However, not all signs of support came equal, and sometimes a simple piece of jewelry can lead to certain assumptions. Moreover, Dana Tran – with whom Sean Combs shares a daughter named Love – was recently spotted out with the little one on Saturday (September 28). What really caught folks’ attention was a ring that she wore, which seems to spell out the word “Love.” Of course, not only does this refer to their child, but also around how the Bad Boy mogul used the word as a marketing push for his Love Album: Off The Grid.

As such, a lot of folks believe that Dana Tran is supporting Diddy through this choice. However, according to a TMZ report, not all is what it seems. An alleged source with direct knowledge reportedly told the publication that she bought the ring herself, and that it’s an homage to her mother and grandmother. So it looks like nothing that Tran wears that says “Love” refers to her baby daddy. Check out the pictures by clicking the “Via” link down below.

This news comes as other famous figures like Master P address the situation. In this case, the New Orleans legend explained how he stayed far away from that path. “Because I realized I had the same friends I had when I started out,” he explained his aversion to the type of scene that Diddy allegedly involved himself in. “I think a lot of these people don’t realize that a lot of these people want to be your friend once you make it. My thing is, this about a family. We stronger together. Whatever we have, we gon’ share it with each other.

“A lot of people want to meet people and hang out with people,” Master P added while talking about the Diddy case. “But I realized that people really just want to be with you because now you’re successful, so I stick to myself. […] People show all the negative stuff, but look at all the positive things we’ve been doing all these years that don’t go viral.”

The Weeknd & Playboi Carti Share Minimalistic Visuals For Hit Collab “Timeless”

Brazilian fans of The Weeknd were treated to some previews of his upcoming album Hurry Up Tomorrow. During the performance, Playboi Carti joined him onstage to give the rambunctious crowd a taste of what we now know to be “Timeless”. The superstars have been developing their relationship for the last year or so since the release of “Popular” last summer. So, it’s nice to see that Abel felt it was necessary to include him on his supposed final Weeknd album. So far, it seems that the Canadian multi-hyphenate is looking to give us an amalgamation of the sounds we have gotten on his last two projects with some callbacks to his earlier work too.

On “Timeless”, The Weeknd and his stacked team of producers blended some incredible shots of synths and contemporary trap production. It allowed Abel to effortlessly switch between his rapping and his delicate singing. Additionally, Carti drops the controversial deep voice for his OG high pitch delivery, making the track that much better. It seems that fans are in agreement with us on it too because the streaming numbers have been off the charts. In just the first 24 hours on Spotify, it racked up over 10 million plays. Currently, it’s over 24 million. These two new they had a hit, so it’s no surprise we have visuals for “Timeless” as of today. In comparison to the video for “Dancing In The Flames”, this one is not nearly as dramatic. It’s darker and grimier, with The Weeknd and Playboi rocking dark attire to match the cavernous vibe. It’s fairly minimalistic, as the locations rarely change from the plain black backdrop. Check out the music video below with the attached embed.

Elite Break Dancing & Redman Performance: World’s Largest Breaking Competition Takes Over Venice Beach

On Saturday, September 28, the prestigious global breaking competition (known as breakdancing), Red Bull BC One, concluded its 2024 U.S. season with its Cypher USA held in Los Angeles.

For the first time in Red Bull BC One history, Venice Beach set the stage as breakers from across the country—both legends and rising stars—gathered to leave their mark on the nation’s most distinguished breaking competition. B-boys and b-girls were judged by a panel of elite breakers: Olympic Gold Medalist Ami Yuasa (B-Girl Ami), Olympian Lee-Lou Demierre (B-Boy Lee) from the renowned crew The Ruggeds, legendary B-Girl and former Team USA coach Bonita Saldana (B-Girl Bonita), and East LA native Ronnie Ruen (B-Boy Ruen), who determined who would go on to claim the coveted Red Bull BC One Championship titles. The competition followed two regional cyphers in Denver and Philadelphia.

Following breaking’s debut on the world’s biggest sporting stage, the event delivered an authentic, real, and raw representation of breaking culture. Against the stunning Pacific Ocean backdrop, 2700 attendees crowded the boardwalk as regional champions and wildcard invitees faced off in a high-energy, 16-bracket knockout tournament, showcasing the creativity, explosiveness, and joy that define world-class breaking.

After a fierce final battle, B-Girl La Vix claimed victory over A+. In the b-boy bracket, Icey-Ives triumphed, beating out Hijack in the final round.

Both La Vix and Icey Ives will represent the United States at the 21st edition of the Red Bull BC One World Final in the vibrant heart of Rio de Janeiro, where they will have a chance to etch their names in breaking history.

At the event, two-time Red Bull BC One World Champion and Olympic medalist B-Boy Victor (Victor Montalvo) was surprised with a Certificate of Recognition by the City of Los Angeles and the 11th Council District. The honor was presented on stage by Juan Fregoso on behalf of Los Angeles City Councilmember, Traci Park, for his career accomplishments.

Leading up to the National Final, the Los Angeles community came together for the Red Bull BC One Camp USA, featuring three days of workshops, exhibition battles, panels, and activities. The lineup included an immersive hip-hop dance workshop, a Footwoorkerz battle, and an epic 2v2 mixed-style showdown featuring both breaking and popping.

With a legacy that spans over two decades, Red Bull has been involved in the breaking community since the start. It all began with the trailblazing Lords of the Floor, a competition resurrected this year ahead of breaking’s debut on the global sporting stage. Today, Red Bull BC One stands as the premier platform for competition, mentorship, cyphers, community jams, and programming—continuing to nurture the art form and support its community as they evolve and push new boundaries.

DaBaby Settled A 2021 Lawsuit Over Sucker-Punching A Hollywood Hills Property Owner At His Video Shoot

Back in 2021, DaBaby was sued by the property owner of a Hollywood Hills rental house where he filmed a video without the owner’s permission after he allegedly sucker-punched the man, knocking out his tooth. The pugnacious rapper has one less legal worry after settling the lawsuit, two months after taking a plea deal to avoid a felony charge of battery, according to Billboard.

The plaintiff, Gary Pagar, said at the time that he rented DaBaby the mansion on the condition no more than 12 people would occupy it. However, DaBaby flouted the regulation, shooting a video at the location with over 40 people. Pragar said he saw all this taking place on the security cameras and drove over to poop the party; however, rather than capitulating, someone in DaBaby’s group allegedly punch Pragar in the face, took his phone, spit on him, and — to literally add insult to injury — stole some kitchenware.

They also did thousands in damage, including knocking out one of the security cameras, while only paying a portion of the rental bill. The terms of the settlement were not revealed. A criminal charge of felony battery was reduced to a misdemeanor with DaBaby’s July plea deal, while the rapper was ordered to pay restitution and given one year of probation.

Diddy No Longer On Suicide Watch As He Awaits Trial In Sex Trafficking Case

Diddy is reportedly no longer on suicide watch at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where he awaits trial in his sex trafficking and racketeering case. According to PEOPLE, which cites a law enforcement source, he has also already visited with his family. “He is focused and very strong,” a lawyer for Combs told the outlet. “He is concentrating on his defense and preparing for his trial.”

The Bad Boy mogul’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, previously confirmed to TMZ that the suicide watch move was merely standard practice for high-profile inmates at the facility. He also told the outlet that Diddy is planning to argue his case in court and won’t be taking a plea deal. “I don’t see it happening… because he believes he’s innocent,” the attorney said. “He believes he’s innocent and what’s more, he believes that he needs to stand up not just for himself, for his family and for everybody who has been targeted by the federal government.”

Diddy’s Attorney Speaks Outside His Latest Hearing

Authorities arrested Diddy in New York City, earlier his month, after publishing a 14-page federal indictment against him. In the document, the state accuses him of hosting “Freak Off” parties that subjected women to horrific treatment. As published by TMZ, the indictment claims: “During Freak Offs, COMBS distributed a variety of controlled substances to victims, in part to keep the victims obedient and compliant. Sometimes unbeknownst to the victims, COMBS kept videos he filmed of victims engaging in sex acts with commercial sex workers. After Freak Offs, COMBS and the victims typically received IV fluids to recover from the physical exertion and drug use.”

Diddy has pleaded not guilty to the allegations and continues to maintain his innocence. Be on the lookout for further updates on Diddy on HotNewHipHop.

Dikembe Mutombo Passes Away After Two-Year Battle With Brain Cancer

According to ESPN and multiple reports, NBA center and shot blocking extraordinaire Dikembe Mutombo has passed away at the age of 58. The 2015 Hall of Fame inductee played his collegiate ball at Georgetown before getting drafted 1991 by the Denver Nuggets. After playing for 18 years between them, the Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Nets, New York Knicks, and the Houston Rockets, he racked up quite a lot of accomplishments. Mutombo’s ability to alter shots led him to become a four-time Defensive Player of the Year. He was also selected to six All-Defensive teams, received three All-NBA selections, and was an eight-time All Star.

After retiring following the 2008-2009 season, he would still be heavily involved with the league. He became an ambassador, as well as playing an integral role in developing the Basketball Africa League. But besides just helping the NBA reach more and more people across the globe he was an incredible person and humanitarian. In 1997, Mutombo started his own foundation named after himself to aid his homeland, the Democratic Republic of Congo, in numerous ways. One of the most substantial efforts includes a 170-bed hospital in Kinshasa that’s taking care of people regardless of their financial situation.
