On Monday (Aug. 26), Lil Baby was taken into police custody in Las Vegas for allegedly carrying a concealed weapon without a permit. The Atlanta rapper — known offstage as Dominique Armani Jones — was booked into Clark County Detention Center with bail set at $5,000.

Fans have shown concern for ATL rapper/actor Ludacris after he posted a video of him drinking water from a glacier of ice in Alaska.
Luda posted the video yesterday(August 26), showing himself on the edge of an ice cap and filling up his container with the natural ice-cold water.
“I couldn’t come here and just have a show,” Luda said. “You know I got a bucket list — or as I like to call it the fuck it list. I’ve never tasted fresh glacial water ever in my life, and this is a first. Here we go!”
Luda added in his IG caption, “Water So Good It Tastes Like GOD Made It. Well, Because He Did.”
Ice Cube’s son O’Shea Jackson Jr. commented on X (formerly Twitter), said, “……how long ago did he shoot this and have we been monitoring him?”
The “Move” rapper also wrote, “I see a lot of people name calling but still water is still water. Boil that shit and make it cold again” while sharing a video warning people about the danger of drinking natural glacial water.

In the clip, a man claims he was “literally sick for two weeks” after drinking water from a 600,000-year-old glacier, despite it being “the best water I think I’ve ever had.”
Ludacris later replied in a video posted on X and didn’t show any signs of bad health.
“Yo, for everybody asking me how that glacial water really tasted, and when I tell y’all I’m a water snob, it was the best tasting water I’ve ever had in my life,” he said.
Some diseases have been frozen in glaciers for hundreds of years and still exist in the water after it has melted. Animals called Tardigrades, which are less than a millimeter in size, can also be found in the water.
Dangerous metals such as mercury, zinc and cadmium have also been detected in glacial water.

C4Y Continues To Build Momentum With “SLOTH (I’S CLOSED)”
C4Y is a fresh face for us at HNHH, but the Chicago, Illinois native has been around the block for a little bit now. He’s got singles dating all the way back to 2020 and project as old as three years. Also something to note about him, is that he is always ready to drop at multiple points throughout the year. In 2021, C4Y gave fans a short, four-track EP called HAUS TAPES, Vol. 1, and OMFG. 2022 consists of B4, C4, and MONEY CARS DRANK, which has a deluxe as well. Then, in 2023 he put out Made Me Laugh and Pain Fosters Art. 2024 has yet to see an LP or EP, but C4Y might nearing one of those with the release of “SLOTH (I’S CLOSED)”.
This is the sixth single from the soon-to-be 24-year-old underground rapper and its coming on the heels of “GREED (PROMISE IM PAID)”. In fact, that track is logged as our first piece for C4Y, so we are happy to be continuing to cover his growth as an artist. Speaking of which, how would we describe his style? Well, we did cite that we hear bits and pieces of Playboi Carti and Lil Baby, previously. We would say that remains true, at least for the former on “SLOTH (I’S CLOSED)”. C4Y isn’t rocking the deep voice that Carti’s been sporting lately, but he sounds more like the latter’s earlier work. He melodically raps in a high register with help of auto-tune, but it doesn’t sound overly processed. We could see this being a new hit for C4Y thanks to the melodies he creates both with his flows and the twinkling piano leads laced into the glitzy instrumental. Ice Cube’s son, O’Shea Jackson Jr., is concerned about Ludacris after the rapper shared a video of himself drinking still water directly from a glacier in Alaska. In the viral clip, he fills up his flask with the ice-cold water and takes a brave sip. Responding to the move on X (formerly Twitter), Jackson Jr. wrote: “……how long ago did he shoot this and have we been monitoring him?” In a subsequent post, he added: “I see a lot of people name calling but still water is still water. When Hollywood Unlocked posted the clip on Instagram, users expressed similar concerns for Ludacris’ wellbeing. “First off…. You should NEVER drink any water that is STILL,” one fan wrote. “Unless, of course, you’re in the wilderness and happen to have a water purification kit. Now, he said it was a 600,000 year old glacier… how much ancient bacteria, parasites, diseases etc is defrosting and blooming in that water? Fivio Foreign sparked outrage online for filming a man using drugs amid a crowd that jeered and cheered him on, posting the interaction on social media on Sunday (August 25). This was during a link-up with Philly rapper Skrilla, and many felt like this clip promoted drug use and trade. “Philly bloccs Show got canceled we went to the hood to checc Skrilla,” he captioned the clip. The group around the user chanted “dog food,” a term often used to refer to heroin. One big part of the backlash was how the New York MC’s promotion of drug use contrasts with his 2024 U.S. presidential pick‘s policy.
Moreover, Donald Trump and his running mate J.D. Vance are very anti-drug, with the latter promising to subject convicted drug dealers to the death penalty if their campaign is victorious. Vance, an Ohio senator, should know well that the opioid crisis became a public health crisis in the state. This pairs with a rise in overdose deaths due to substances such as fentanyl. If Fivio Foreign thinks that drug use is a casual phenomenon that he should film indiscriminately, then perhaps he should reconsider his Trump support.

Troy Ave Released From Prison For 2016 Shooting, Gifted New Lamborghini
Brooklyn rapper Troy Ave has been released from prison after serving a little under a year for his role in the 2016 Irving Plaza shooting in which the rapper’s friend and bodyguard, Ronald “Banga” McPhatter, ended up dead.
Troy Ave, whose real name is Roland Collins, posted a picture of himself walking out of Riker’s Island yesterday(August 26) gripping a bag of money in front of a red Lambo with the caption, “Ya boi home!”
Another clip showed Troy being give the Lamborghini and cash when he hit the bricks, with Ave saying the first place he wanted to head to was the airport.
Collins was sent behind bars after he and podcaster Daryl “Taxstone” Campbell got into a scuffle backstage at Irving Plaza during a T.I. concert, resulting in Ave’s friend and bodyguard getting shot and killed.
“When the shot goes off I see the light from the spark and I hear the shot,” Troy testified in court last March. “This is all happening fast. I get up and start fighting Taxstone, trying to take him, grab the gun, and another shot goes off. I put my leg up to kind of block the shot from hitting me in the face or chest.”
Taxstone, who is alleged to have been the gunman, was sentenced to 35 years in prison while Troy Ave was handed a reduced one-year stint in prison.
