Serena Williams Calls “Not Like Us” the ‘Hit of the Summer’

Has the song of the summer debate ever been wrapped up this early? Kendrick Lamar is running a victory lap with “Not Like Us,” and Compton’s own Serena Williams, who was previously romantically linked to Drake, is enjoying it.

Appearing at the ESSENCE Festival, Williams revealed that “Not Like Us” is her jam.

“I love that song. It’s like the hit of the summer. When they play that jam, I’m jamming,” said Williams. “That jam is jamming.”

And that jam gives a shout-out to Williams.

Of Course 50 Cent Trolled Rick Ross For Getting Attacked In Canada While On Stage In Canada

Rick Ross will never look at Canada in the same way after what happened to him in the country recently: After playing Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss “Not Like Us” at a festival in Vancouver, Ross would up involved in a brawl that seemingly saw him get punched in the face (“seemingly” because Ross doesn’t seem to think he actually did get punched).

Whatever it was that happened, 50 Cent has been having fun with it.

50 was performing in Canada this past weekend and he said to the crowd, “I can’t believe what y’all did to Rick Ross!” He then went back and forth with a fan who jokingly said they were the one who struck Ross.

This is just 50’s latest instance of referencing the Ross brawl. On July 1, he said in a video shared on social media (as XXL notes), “Hey guys. I just saw a very unfortunate situation that took place in Canada, and I want to say to everyone that I hope that that brother made it home safely. I hope that he now has a different perspective and a better sense of what to do and what not to do while you’re out in the world. That part where that young guy went like — he did this little move and sh*t and got knocked the f*ck out — that does not reflect him. That reflects his camp.”

Over the last year and change, Missouri rapper Sexyy Red has been going step for step with the rest of her contemporaries. Even though her musical style and antics is extremely divisive, you can still make the argument that she is number one right now. She has so many hits under her belt, especially from Hood Hottest Princess. Even her latest mixtape, In Sexyy We Trust, is still receiving some praise despite there not being as many glaring bangers. Speaking of that most recent offering, the St. Louis native announced a tour surrounding it called Sexyy Red 4 President.

The hitmaker revealed the dates and ticket information a couple of weeks ago and this marks her second headlining trek. She is going to be joined by opening acts Hunxho, Loe Shimmy, and BlakeIANA, with a supposed surprise guest popping out for certain cities. However, reports are coming out that her presidential run is in some serious trouble financially speaking. According to The Art Of Dialogue and Touring Data, they both have gathered the sales numbers so far and they are quite shocking given Red’s stature.

Sexyy Red’s Presidential Run Is In Jeopardy

Out of the 85,217 tickets available for North America, only 37.11% of them have been purchased for 20/24 dates. If you multiply 85,217 by .3711, you will get around 31,624 tickets sold. Additionally, the potential average capacity per show will only be around 6,800. Because of this, there is a scenario in which Red could have to cancel her tour. While some fans are already trolling the artist online, there are others who are genuinely in shock. There are a few factors that could play into it such as people having tight budgets or just the hype not being there for this project. August 22 is the first stop for her, so she has time, but we will keep you in the loop moving forward.

A father and son duo has never existed in the league before, until now. However, Bronny’s draft into the league has come with some criticism. Many say it’s all nepotism, especially since Bronny struggled in college. Moreover, there is this sense that the kid is being set up for failure.

His Summer League debut did not help those criticisms as Bronny finished with just four points on 2-9 shooting splits. It was a bad night for the young man that subsequently led to calls for him to be cut. In the midst of this, LeBron did an interview with ESPN where he had nothing but praise for his son. As you can see below, he spoke on Bronny’s mindset. As LeBron explains, the young star could not care less about what people, have to say about him. “Bronny plays. He works his tail off. When he goes home, he plays video games,” James stated.

Childish Gambino’s Feature List For New Album “Bando Stone” Allegedly Revealed

Childish Gambino’s new album Bando Stone & The New World is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated releases of the year, and for good reason. There have been a lot of great clips of reported project cuts, plus a hot new single, a revamped version of his 2020 album, and a new film to boot. But folks are speculating a lot about what features we can expect on the LP when it drops on July 19. Per some online reports, we have an alleged guest list to look at. But take it with a grain of salt, as we’re not entirely sure of where this information came from.

According to NFR Podcast, for example, Bando Stone will feature Yeat, Kamasi Washington, Amaarae (twice), Steve Lacy, Fousheé, Jorja Smith, Chlöe Bailey, Flo Milli, and Childish Gambino’s son. The platform also suggested that this information comes from the New York City listening party that he recently hosted, and that not every track from the album was previewed. As such, maybe we can expect even more features on the album in addition to these. However, it’s also entirely possible that the final version won’t include this exact list, so we’ll just have to tune in and see.

What’s more is that this feature list is pretty exciting regardless because it points to the versatility to come on Bando Stone. With these rumored guests in mind (Fousheé and Steve Lacy were actually at the listening event), we can only expect similar lushness and variety on the project. If not, then we’re sure that Donald Glover’s mind will be enough to bring this approach.

Meanwhile, as for the Bando Stone movie, we still don’t have many details on when that will come out or how. But fans are still excited either way, and how couldn’t they be? Bhad Bhabie sparked a lot of fan concern online after posting footage of her boyfriend LeVaughn, the father of her daughter, allegedly assaulting her. On Monday (July 8), her mother Barbara Bregoli addressed the matter on her Instagram Story, claiming that her daughter has been manipulated in her relationship and strayed away from her family. “DV [domestic violence], Manipulation and a house full of people watching what’s going on and doing nothing!!!” the mother alleged. “I’m the only one who didn’t know about this she confides in his mother & Tilan (part of the manipulation is isolation from her family). It’s no wonder LV and Ira get along.”

In addition, Bregoli also added a picture of Bhad Bhabie’s daughter Kali Love, who is now with her grandmother and is “good,” according to her. “I love that man more than I love myself and its honestly really said,” the rapper said of the alleged domestic violence incident after posting the supposed footage. “…I know the easy way out is to leave and that’s better said than done.
