Bronny James’ Real Height Officially Revealed During NBA Combine

Size matters in the NBA. The NBA Combine is a chance for teams to get accurate measurements of potential draft picks. A prospect’s size can contribute to how effective they will be at the next level. Height and wingspan are the most important factors. The measures taken this week will probably have an impact on draft status, both positively and negatively. Bronny James’s official height, weight, and wingspan have now been officially tallied at the NBA combine. Some of his measurements are good, but others may impact how scouts see him as a prospect.

LeBron James’ oldest child, Bronny James, had a mixed showing in the measurements department on Monday. He measured 6-foot-1.5 without shoes, even though his official height at USC was 6-4. His height measurement is not great, but his wingspan was measured at 6-foot-8, which is great for his height and can make up for being 6’1. Overall, it will be interesting to see how Bronny can overcome his physical measurements and show why he is an NBA player. He has already impressed in a couple of other areas so far at the combine.

Bronny James also had an impressive vertical jump, which measured at 40-1/2 inches, making it one of the most impressive at the combine. Bronny also turned heads during the shooting drills. Despite the negative measurements, there were positives. He stepped out and finished 19 out of 25 in the 3-point shooting star drill to rank second overall among all competitors this year. Bronny also had a good showing in the 5-0n-5 scrimmage, showcasing his floater game and defense. Overall, Bronny is making positive waves at the combine despite his less than stellar height measurements.

Bronny has already expressed that his dream is to make it to the NBA, not necessarily play with his dad, LeBron James. Bronny is trying to carve his own lane after a disappointing freshman year at USC, where he had several major setbacks. The most promising thing about Bronny’s game is his athletics and shooting ability. If he can prove he can hold his own on defense and consistently hit 3-pointers, he might find a place in the league. Overall, height is important, but it is not everything when you have other gifts.

Bronny James To Stay In The NBA Draft

According to reports, the NBA will notify clubs on Monday that James’ three medical panel evaluations and approval were completed. This will enable Bronny James to fully participate in this week’s pre-draft combine, a crucial step in presenting himself to team executives as a potential 2024 contender. Additionally, Bronny is now expected to participate in the 5 on 5 scrimmages at the combine, which is an incredible opportunity to showcase his NBA skillset.

The Los Angeles team, however, is leaving no stone unturned to ensure his stay. This even includes the possibility of drafting LeBron’s son, Bronny, in this summer’s NBA Draft. In a recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, NBA writer Shams Charania confirmed the Lakers’ commitment to retaining LeBron James.

Bronny James decided to leave USC following his freshman season and entered the NBA draft last month. After a lackluster freshman campaign, Bronny has decided to stake his own claim to an NBA career. Brony James will more than likely become a Lakeer one way or another.

If Bronny goes undrafted, then he could sign with the lkwers as an unrestricted free agent. Bronny is set to participate in the NBA draft combine. Hopefully, he will be able to show scouts that his freshman season was a fluke. His game might be ready for the NBA level, and we will see it soon. Overall, the Lakers are probably prepared to do whatever it takes to keep LeBron in purple and Gold. Bronny might be sharing the court with his dad next season. The Lakers Are Open To Drafting Bronny James

According to reports, the Los Angeles Lakers are considering picking Bronny James in the 2024 NBA draft so he may play alongside his father, the legendary LeBron James of the Lakers. Lebron has indicated that he will play wherever his son ends up. To ensure that he stays a Laker, the Lakers may go out on a limb and draft the young prospect. According to reports, LA is open to considering helping LeBron “fulfill his dream” by being able to play with his son.

Bronny James was one of the most highly regarded prospects in the country before he committed to USC last year. However, he missed the first eight games of his rookie season. Bronny, after suffering from cardiac arrest during a workout in the summer, caused him to miss time. Despite having a dismal year statistically and being limited in playing time for most of the 2023–24 season, Bronny made the decision to join the 2024 NBA draft while still keeping the possibility of going back to school open by using the transfer portal. Bronny averaged just 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game at USC. Now, he may get a chance in the league if the Lakers decide to draft him.

Bronny James Likely To Be Selected By Lakers

Bronny James is still a player with a lot of potential. Bronny was hailed as a good defender, facilitator, and shooter coming out of high school. Those skills will hopefully give him a solid opportunity to make it to the NBA one day, even if he does not live up to the massive expectations put on him. LeBron James has one more year with the Lakers and may decide to opt out of his contract using his player option to sign with whatever team selects Bronny.

The Lakers may have to draft Bronny. They cannot afford to lose their best player, and using a pick to keep LeBron in LA might be their best option. The Lakers were just soundly defeated by the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the playoffs. There may be a coaching change about to happen for the Lakers. Much of their future is uncertain. Overall, the Lakers could secure a couple more seasons of LeBron if they draft Bronny.

Lebron James Watches Bronny’s USC Game While Doing Media Interviews

LeBron James was a little more distracted than usual during his post-game media interviews, as he tried to watch his son Bronny take on Arizona at the same time. The first indication that James was not giving the media his full attention was when he rebuffed scrum reporters in the tunnel saying he had to go watch Bronny. While James did fulfill his media obligations, he would often look past the reporters to focus on the screen showing the USC game.

However, he focused a little more when one reporter asked him whether it was tougher to lose with the Lakers or watch Bronny and USC struggle. “Watching college basketball alone is tough. Then you add my son in there, it’s even … yeah, yeah, cause I’m … it’s hard to watch. It’s hard to watch. Yeah, I’m a dad, but also, love the game of basketball and college basketball, just, it’s like ten people in the paint at the same time. It’s very hard at times to watch. But USC’s a great program, Arizona’s a great program, you get a good opportunity to watch some good basketball in this game,” James said.

LeBron Wins, Bronny Loses

The Lakers moved back to a .500 record with a big win over the Dallas Mavericks. James went 25/8/8 on the night while Anthony Davis and D’Angelo Russell also both recorded 25+ points. The Lakers have now won four of their last six games as fans hope that their dismal post-IST run is now at an end. The team is next in action against the Nets on January 19.

However, Bronny and the Trojans weren’t as fortunate. With Kevin Durant courtside, the younger James played well but the No. 12 Wildcats played better. The 82-67 loss dropped USC to 8-10 and marked their third consecutive loss. The Trojans are now second-to-last in the Pac-12, having started conference play 2-5. Despite this, Bronny’s 11/5/6 impressed Durant. “He was aggressive. He played well,” the Suns star said. However, James’ aggressive play proved costly, as he also committed five turnovers. Next up for the Trojans is 10-7 (4-2 Pac-12) Arizona State.

LeBron James Will Attend Bronny’s USC Debut, Even If He Has To Skip A Lakers Game

LeBron James has revealed that he plans to be at his son Bronny’s USC debut, even if it means skipping a Lakers game to do so. “Whenever he’s cleared and ready to have his first game, I already told my teammates that if they play on the same day we’re playing, I’m going to have to catch them the next game. Family over everything. But definitely got to see Bronny’s first game whenever he’s cleared and ready to go,” LeBron told reporters after the Lakers’ Thursday night loss to the Thunder.

Earlier this week, the James family announced that Bronny had received medical clearance to resume practice with USC “next week”. Furthermore, the family’s statement said that Bronny’s debut as a Trojan would come “soon after”. Of the Trojans’ next 10 games from December 11 onwards, four coincide with a Lakers’ fixture. If Bronny’s debut comes against Oregon State (December 30), Cal (January 3), Colorado (January 13), or Arizona (January 17), LeBron would be skipping a Lakers fixture. Of the four, only the matchup against Cal is a home fixture for USC. The Galen Center, USC’s home base, is a little over two miles from the Lakers’ Crypto.com Arena.

Bronny Set For Miraculous Return

Bronny has missed USC’s first seven games, in which they have gone 5-2. The Trojans were upset by UC Irvine before losing to Oklahoma at the Rady Children’s Invitational. The Trojans’ next game features their first ranked opponent of the season – No. 11 Gonzaga. However, Bronny has made sure to remain around the team as the season got underway. Bronny made an appearance at the annual Trojan HoopLA but did not participate in the athletic festivities.

Despite this, Bronny’s return is nothing short of miraculous. Having suffered a cardiac arrest less than four months ago, many thought that he was going to miss significant time. Instead, much like Aaron Rodgers, Bronny is now expected to defy the odds and make an expedited return to the sport that he loves. We’ll have more on Bronny’s USC debut as and when the details become available.
