Sleepy Hallow and Sheff G share a lot of things in common. Both are from the city of Brooklyn, New York, they navigate a similar drill sound palette, and each of them love getting active with women. That is the topical focus of this latest Sleepy Hallow and Sheff G collab, “Yes Freestyle”. This single has a thumping instrumental that is synonymous with this area of rap. The kicks are very potent, giving this beat some extra oomph. Additionally, Sleepy and Sheff’s flows are easy to follow and making for a catchy tune. However, a song like this from the “2055” rapper should not be a surprise to anyone at this point.

“Yes Freestyle” is just hit in the Sleepy Hallow catalog. His 2023 album, Boy Meets World, features several go-to tracks. Two of those include “A N X I E T Y” with TDE signee Doechii and “Die Young” featuring 347aidan. Both songs alone have over 300+ million streams. Additionally, one of Sleep’s most recent offerings, “Winners In Paris”, is also making some noise with over 13 million plays on Spotify. But straying away from his solo stuff, him and Sheff G are also quite the dynamic duo. “Weight On Me” is their most popular to date, but they have plenty of others out there. Maybe they should make a collab album?

However, fans are curious to see if it will end up living up to the hype. After a few hits in 2023, Spice’s 2024 output hasn’t been hitting the same, in the eyes of fans. That said, a few good songs on this project could certainly change how people look at her career.

In the midst of all of this, Ice Spice has found herself in the midst of some dating rumors. Over the last few days, the artist has been spotted out and about with Central Cee. The UK artist has name-dropped women artists in the past, and now he finds himself cozying up with Ice Spice. Last night, the two posted a TikTok together, and it is clear they are getting quite close. Below, you can see Central Cee spinning the New York rapper in a rolling chair while getting touchy-feely.

Interestingly enough, some fans over on The Shade Room aren’t so convinced of this new relationship. “This relationship is just as real as Rubi Rose & Druski’s 30-Day Trial Relationship,” one person wrote. “It’s giving publicity. It’s giving engagement. It’s giving marketing team. Yall let these celebs play yall like a fiddle,” said another. Overall, it’s clear that fans are feeling skeptical. Although given the history of fake celebrity relationships, it is easy to understand why.

Iconic MC, Rakim is set to make a groundbreaking return to the music scene after 15 years with his highly anticipated new album, G.O.D.’s Network (Reb7rth). Partnering with cutting-edge Web3 music platform Gala Music, select songs from Rakim’s album release is available exclusively on Gala Music today before
hitting digital streaming platforms (DSPs) July 26th. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the fusion of music and technology, offering fans a unique and immersive listening experience.

Young Thug’s Kids Threaten To Wack Gunna In Scathing New Diss Song

Young Thug and Gunna are not the friends they once were. It’s hard to imagine they ever will be. The former is still in the midst of a RICO charge, and the latter has walked. It’s widely assumed that Gunna snitched on Young Thug to avoid prison time. That said, the rapper has repeatedly stated that the “rat” claims are false. It hasn’t helped much. Kendrick Lamar cast Gunna in an unflattering light when he named him on “Euphoria.” Now, Young Thug’s kids are getting in the act. Admittedly, their reference to Gunna is a lot more aggressive.

Young Thug’s sons posted a snippet of an untitled diss song on Instagram. The duo can be seen dancing and showing off money stacks. It’s the bars, however, that definitely draw the most attention. The duo makes reference to multiple targets, but Gunna gets it the worst. “And Bentley a rat he keep leaving states,” one of the kids raps. “And Gunna get whacked if he don’t leave L.A.” It’s not clear whether Young Thug gave the thumbs up to these bars, but it shocked viewers enough to question his parenting in the comments. Some users claimed that Thugger will be disappointed by the diss. Others considered the legal ramifications. They worried the diss could be used against the rapper during the YSL trial.

Young Thug’s Kids Urged Gunna To Leave Los Angeles

Young Thug has had some controversial takes on parenting in the past. He lobbied to have full custody of his 12 kids during a Twitter rant in 2015. He felt that he had the means to provide for all of them, unlike the women he had the kids with. “I got a mansion with 12 empty bedrooms waiting for them,” he wrote. “I refuse to come on Cleveland Ave. That’s called backtracking. Just wanna no [why] should a peasant with no job, or future, or apartment/house/condo have custody of a rich mans child.”

Young Thug doubled down on this line of thinking during a 2022 Instagram Live. He went as far as to claim that people who are broke shouldn’t procreate. “We need new rules. We need a new oath,” the rapper asserted. “If you dead broke, if you a broke-a*s n**ga, you should not be able to n*t. You’re bringing poor kids into this world, f*ck n**ga. You’re making n**gas rob, and kill and steal because you’re running around with no type of career, no nothing.”

NLE Choppa Is Scared To Shoot His Shot At New Crush Billie Eilish

NLE Choppa is honest with his fans. It’s one of the reasons his music resonates. It’s also why he used one of his own songs, “Slut Me Out 2,” to tell the world that he has a crush on Billie Eilish. The rapper hopped on TikTok on July 10 and danced to his song while a message on the screen read: “I got a crush on Billie Elish [sic].” Spelling error aside, the TikTok caught the attention of viewers, if for nothing else the sheer randomness of the selection. NLE Choppa had more to say on the matter, though.

The rapper posted a second TikTok in which he lamented being “bored.” Then a third in which he tries to stretch his legs and flailing them around in frustration. The latter also came with a message that put the bizarre outburst into (some) context. “If I shoot my shot at Billie and it don’t work out,” he wrote. Strange as this whole string of TikToks may seem, this is actually something that NLE Choppa has done before. The rapper is only a few months removed from shooting his shoot with another artist, GloRilla.

NLE was a big fan of GloRilla’s IG thirst traps, and voiced his interest during an interview with AllHipHop. “She’s getting a little thicker. We see you,” he announced. “That a** getting fat now, Glo… She must’ve been on her oats. She ‘bout one more picture away before I’m just there with it.” NLE and GloRilla never linked up, as far as the public knows. Unfortunately, the same is going to be true for the rapper and Billie Eilish, based on the latter’s recent comments about dating.

Billie Eilish was asked about her love life during a March interview with People Magazine. She asserted that she’s “never dating again,” but walked the comment back with a more fleshed-out response. “That’s not true, obviously,” she conceded. “But no, I don’t see myself being serious with anyone until I find someone that really feels right to me, and that is not interesting to me right now.” Billie Eilish’s last serious relationship, with Jesse Rutherford, came to an end in May 2023.
