Lil Jon Fuses Crunk And Wellness At Peloton Studios With First-Ever Artist Series

Peloton Studios New York turned up the heat on June 27 thanks to a special visit from Grammy AwardⓇ winning rapper, producer, and entrepreneur Lil Jon. As a special guest for one of Lil Jon’s two classes in his first-ever Artist Series with Peloton, I witnessed an electrifying session that left everyone turnt, crunk, and shaking like a salt shaker by the end of the class.

Peloton recently launched its brand’s first-ever Lil Jon Artist Series to celebrate his hits, classics, and new songs. The Artist Series spans six classes, including Cycling, Tread, Row, Meditation, and Strength. Members were thrilled when Lil Jon walked into the already buzzing studio to take the class with them.

In celebration of his second meditation album, Manifest Abundance, Lil Jon co-led Dr. Chelsea Jackson Roberts’ ten-minute Meditation class. Both artists share a passion for mindfulness and manifestation, and the meditation session focused on empowerment, emphasizing the intertwined nature of movement and music.

Lil Jon then transitioned from the mat to The Club, making a special appearance in Alex Toussaint’s signature Club Bangers Ride. The duo co-curated a playlist that fused Lil Jon hits with their favorite club-inspired tracks, complete with a Lil Jon custom mix. The class was unlike anything I’ve ever witnessed, leaving me motivated, charged, and ready to continue my health and wellness regimen.

As Club Bangers’ first-ever special guest, Lil Jon was a massive motivation to Members, shouting his famous enthusiastic adlibs. His infectious energy played a significant role in creating an exhilarating atmosphere in the studio as he sang along to some of his classic hits. The group stayed responsibly hydrated with Peloton Instructors Camila Ramón and Ash Pryor serving out “shots” of water to the hyped-up Members. Eminem, Big Sean, And BabyTron Are Ready To Cause Lyrical Nightmares In Their Video Trailer For Single ‘Tobey’

Despite fans’ pushback, the seemingly professional burial of Eminem’s rap alter ego is moving full steam ahead. With his forthcoming album The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce) on the way, Em is treating supporters to another taste of what’s to coming from the project.

Yesterday (June 28), the “Houdini” rapper took to X (formerly Twitter) page to tease his next single, “Tobey,” which is set to feature Big Sean and BabyTron.

“TOBEY. @babytron. @bigsean. New music 7/2. Video 7/5 by @colebennett,” he wrote.

In the gory clip, the trio, dressed in uniform coveralls, serve their most intimating mean mug to prove that Detroit has vested stakes in the “Big Three” conversation. With a chainsaw and creepy Jason Voorhees mask replica, Eminem hacks away at something just outside the camera’s frame, it is clear he means business.

As Babytron is heard rapping, “Tobey Maguire got bit by a spider but see me it was a GOAT,” Eminem’s love for film certainly found its way into the forthcoming collaboration.

Instead of fighting crime (as hilariously seen in the “Houdini” visual), Eminem, Big Sean, and BabyTron plan on wrecking havoc in the rap streets. With creative mind, Lyrical Lemonade’s Bennett, tasked to bring the vision to the screen, come July 5, the nightmares are soon to follow.

Diddy Allegedly Dropped By Law Firm At Their Client Lady Gaga’s Request

A new unconfirmed report from News Nation suggests that the powerful New York City law firm Grubman, Shire, Meiselas & Sacks just dropped one of their clients: Diddy. Moreover, the firm reportedly represents many music industry titans, and if this report is true, likely cut ties with him due to his various accusations and lawsuits concerning sexual assault, abuse, and sex trafficking. However, apparently this decision manifested at the request of another one of GSM&S’ clients, Lady Gaga. “Lady Gaga said she was leaving [the firm] if they didn’t drop Diddy. And she’s too big to lose,” an alleged insider told the publication.

Furthermore, this comes amid other news that the city of Miami has canceled its “Diddy Day.” Back to this specific case, Sean Combs allegedly knows Allen Grubman and was with GSM&S for over two decades. The firm reportedly involved itself in various successful stadium runs and catalog sales over the years with massive industry players like The Weeknd, Lil Nas X, and more. At press time, neither the Bad Boy mogul’s team nor representatives from the firm have publicly responded to these claims.

Diddy Reportedly Dropped By Law Firm

While Diddy wiped much of his online presence amid all this, folks like Stephen A. Smith and many others took issue with him deleting his prompt, albeit still criticized, apology to Cassie for abusing her. “If you had a million photos and you decided to delete 999,999 of them, that’s the one you should’ve kept up,” he began his remarks on the June 25 episode of his podcast. If you’re sincere. You got 20 million followers on Instagram. Why did you delete that video of the apology?

“Don’t you want people to know that you were contrite?” Smith continued about Diddy. “By deleting the video, you throw all of that out the window. The possibility of the very few people who would ever believe that. Who are your PR people? Who are these people? Where is the advice? I’d have said, ‘Never delete your account and never delete that video.’ Leave that up forever. Because that was you apologizing. And owning up to your transgression. You deleting it from your account… that wasn’t smart. It comes across as you wanting to erase everything as opposed to you wanting to be accountable for everything.”

Headie One Tells The Full Story About His Musical Come-Up On “The Last One”

Headie One is of the United Kingdom’s most reputable rappers for a lot of reasons. Whether it be his bangers, great topical focus, or commanding presence on the mic, he is always offering up something for everyone. Headie One is showcasing all of these qualities on his sophomore album, The Last One. This the Tottenham, London native’s follow-up to his debut LP, EDNA, back in 2020. Additionally, it is the closing chapter in his “One”-titled mixtape series.

The first of them hit streaming in 2018 with The One and the sequel would follow later that year. For Headie One, The Last One is his story about entering the music industry and everything that has followed. He explained it in an interview with The Line of Best Fit, saying, “I’ve made a lot of music that tells a story, but I feel like the stories are all separate and individual from each other. I’ve never told the full story, from start to finish, about how I came into music and how things were up until a certain point. That’s the story the album is telling”.

One track that Headie One cites as extremely important to The Last One‘s themes about this up-and-down journey is “Martin’s Sofa”. Even though it originally dropped back in January of last year, this track still fits seamlessly in this tracklist. It sort of pays homage to his friend Martin who let him crash at his place while he was trying to make it in rap. It is extremely touching and one of many vulnerable hits on this stacked project.

Jeezy Makes Light Of Jeannie Mai Divorce On New Remix Of JT’s “OKAY”

Jeezy graced the remix of JT’s “OKAY” yesterday (Friday, June 28), and fans quickly realized that it was a much messier single than they perhaps anticipated. Moreover, there are multiple bars from the former on here than either outright reference or subtly allude to his contentious and drama-filled divorce from Jeannie Mai. “Summer 24, I’m single as a dollar bill,” he raps on the cut. “Handsome and wealthy, can’t forget the fact a n***a real.” It seems like The Snowman really wanted to make a statement and speak on his current state with this remix, and we’re sure that this won’t be the last addition to this saga.

However, some fans might be confused because, as far as they knew, Jeezy and Jeannie Mai just finalized their divorce earlier this month. The process was very combative, including domestic abuse allegations against the rapper and claims that he unsafely kept an AK-47 in their home and brandished it while leaving many firearms and a lot of ammunition in easily accessible places. “Why you got choppers in ya house? ‘Cause I’m a n***a still / A b***h’ll never catch me slipping, yeah, banana peel / Ever lost a real one? You dropped the ball baby,” he raps on the “OKAY” remix.

Elsewhere on the song, Jeezy flexes his longevity by challenging hip-hop’s biggest story of 2024 so far: the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef. “You’re taking off this summer? I said n***a, naw / All I’m hearing about is Drizzy Drake and K.Dot / Been on fire twenty years, b***h, I stay hot,” he spits on the track. It would be very interesting to hear what an Atlanta legend like himself would have to say about that battle. Did the 6ix God run to him for a couple of dollars or did he wipe Kendrick down?

Regardless, Jeezy did receive some defense from his circle amid the Jeannie Mai divorce, and so did she from her loved ones. Hopefully things slow down in the future and they turn this sad end into an amicable, accountable, and responsible future. These moments are never easy, and perhaps rapping about it on a record will exacerbate this difficulty. But only time will tell.

Kendrick Lamar, pgLang, Free Lunch Donate $200K To L.A. Charities and More

Looks like Kendrick Lamar plants money trees after all. The “Damn” rapper fresh off his viral ‘Pop Out’ concert in Los Angeles gave back to his community significantly in collaboration with pgLang, Tim Hinshaw’s Free Lunch, and participating artists, by donating $200,000. The cash went to nearly two dozen charities and community initiatives in Los Angeles, including the Boys & Girls Clubs, The Hidden Genius Project, Alma Backyard Farms, and others.

“We haven’t seen this type of unity on the West since we lost our brother Nipsey Hussle,” said Tim Hinshaw, owner of Free Lunch, in an interview with Billboard.

“As Dot said on stage, this moment was bigger than a back and forth; it was about supporting each other and showing the world that we could come together for a greater cause. All of these organizations play a pivotal role in the development of our community, and the hope is that we all continue to support them moving forward.”

Get this, one of the 20 beneficiaries of Kendrick’s generosity is the Compton G.irls Club. Chrystani Heinrich, founder and executive director of Compton G.irls Club, expressed her gratitude: 

“We would like to thank pgLang and Free Lunch for recognizing their roots and supporting g.irls from the hood. It’s refreshing to know that Kendrick always comes back to the community to support the next generation.”

Harlem rapper turned fashionista A$AP Rocky is expanding his presence in the clothing world with a new label, American Sabotage. 

Created in collaboration with AWGE, the American Sabotage x AWGE Men’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection debuted at Paris Fashion Week on June 21, with Rihanna attending to support Rocky. 

Get this, the Fenty Hair founder wore a burgundy, fur-lined bomber jacket and studded high heels, capturing photos and videos of the show.

Here’s how Rocky described the collection: “American Sabotage is more than just a brand–it’s a movement. We’re wrecking boundaries and making statements through every piece, reflecting the spirit and resilience of our communities. This is fashion with purpose, where art meets activism.”

The hot new collection drew inspiration from Rocky’s bold New York style and Harlem’s Dipset. Footwear was provided by Puma, where Rocky has been the Creative Director of their Formula 1 partnership since October 2023, and Ray-Ban provided eyewear. Notable guests included Pharrell, Clipse, and A$AP Nast.
