Gunplay’s Drug Use Caused His Daughter’s Heart Defect, Vonshae Taylor-Morales Claims

The mother of Gunplay’s child, Vonshae Taylor-Morales, recently took to social media to reveal the impact the rapper’s alleged drug use has had on their family. In a new clip, the mother of one claims that their daughter’s heart defect was caused by Gunplay’s drug abuse. She further cited his guilt over the situation as the catalyst for his relapse.

“Cocaine, ketamine, all those type of things, it causes cognitive disorders,” she explained. “So, that’s why my daughter’s heart was f*cked up, and he took it really hard. And I just wasn’t with it.” Taylor-Morales went on to describe how she made it clear to him that she wouldn’t be staying in the relationship if he started to use drugs again. Unfortunately, she missed some of the signs that he had relapsed.

Gunplay Took His Daughter’s Health Issues “Hard”

In August, Gunplay was arrested after he allegedly pointed a gun at Taylor-Morales, who was holding their baby. She took to social media soon after to announce that she’d be filing for divorce, and to unveil some of his previous concerning behavior. “Richard is back using and developed a very bad drinking problem. I’ve tried everything in my power to help him and love him,” she wrote. “This is a demon he has to overcome on his own. At this point, I really believe it’s too late.”

She later revealed that since the rapper was in jail, she was unable to officially file. Despite the issues they’ve gone through in recent months, Taylor-Morales claims she still has love for Gunplay, and wants to see him improve. “He do love me, I love him,” she explained. “That’s my best friend. But, unfortunately sometimes you’ve got to let the person you love go so he can find himself. I want him to find himself, I want him to get help. We do have a child together, so it is what it is.” What do you think of the recent claims made by Taylor-Morales? Keshia Chante Explains The Origins Of Bow Wow Beef

Keshia Chante has a pretty impressive and versatile collection of achievements in her career. Aside from being a singer she is also an actress and served as the host of 106 & Park alongside Bow Wow. Many probably remember that she was identified as the girl “Kiki” in Drake’s smash hit song “In My Feelings” which spawned from the pair’s relationship nearly a decade earlier. But it’s her co-host Bow Wow who she has a longer running and even more complicated connection to.

Chante sat down in a recent interview to discuss her origins with the rapper. In the story, she recalls Bow Wow personally requesting that she be the lead video girl in the music video for his song “Shawty Like Mine.” But when she flies out to meet him, he tries to get her to stop by his hotel, and Chante declines. Shortly after she finds out that she’s been replaced as lead girl in the video by Angela Simmons. It worked out for her in the end though because Chris Brown took notice. Chante ultimately got the chance to star in his video instead. That created what she described as a “rivalry” between the various parties involved which reportedly ran for years. Check out the full interview clip below.

Keshia Chante And Bow Wow’s Origins

Fans in the comments mostly took the opportunity to clown on Bow Wow. “Men be so sassy ….” the top comment on the post reads. Many others agree. “So bow wow is the lil black angry bagel guy from 2017,” and “So Lil bow wow been a menace” other comments read.

Clearly, the pair eventually put the beef behind them during their tenure as 106 & Park hosts. Bow Wow has been slamming the door on other beefs recently too. He shut down rumors of a feud with Romeo just last month saying “I have mad love.” What do you think of Keshia Chante’s story about being replaced as the lead girl in Bow Wow’s video after refusing to go to his hotel room? Soulja Boy’s Ex Permitted To Seize Vehicles, Cash, And More For Lawsuit Damages

Last month, Soulja Boy’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Myers, motioned to seize some of the rapper’s assets to collect the damages awarded to her in her assault case. The rapper was ordered to pay Myers $472K, but he claimed he was unable to pay due to financial struggles. He motioned to dismiss the damages, but the judge denied it.

“Defendant must be earning money from somewhere sufficient to pay for the rent and whatever other monthly expenses he has,” the judge explained. “In other words, defendant is paying $300,000/year in rent alone. It stands to reason that he must have some other living expenses. And that money must come from somewhere.” Now, the judge has granted officers permission to seize Soulja Boy’s cars and cash on behalf of his ex. Officers will be allowed to take any cash in excess of $1K.

In his motion to dismiss the damages, Soulja Boy claimed that he owes the IRS $1 million in back taxes. He also cited steep rental payments for his LA mansion, which he says costs him $25K per month. The judge advised Soulja Boy to scale back his living situation in order to pay off his debt.

Myers sued the rapper back in 2020, accusing him of kidnapping and assaulting her at a Malibu house party the year prior. Her awarded damages are to cover her mental health expenses, as well as the physical and mental suffering the alleged assault caused her. “Mr. Way [Soulja Boy] assaulted and terrorized Kayla, and that was borne out by the evidence and testimony,” Myers’ attorney stated. “The punitive damages were substantial, and hopefully they will serve as a lesson to Mr. Way that his celebrity status is not a license to commit violence.” What do you think of the court granting officers permission to seize Soulja Boy’s property on behalf of his ex? Keefe D’s Lawyer Fails To Show Up For Arraignment, Hearing Delayed 2 Weeks

Keefe D’s arraignment has been continued for two weeks after the lawyer he hired failed to show up for Wednesday’s hearing, according to TMZ. The arraignment comes after Las Vegas police arrested the 60-year-old former gang member, last week, in the 1996 killing of 2Pac.

Keefe D is facing a charge of murder with the use of a deadly weapon in a gang-related homicide. Police say he is the only surviving suspect in the case.

As for what to expect from the case, Suge Knight has already stated that he will refuse to testify. Speaking with TMZ, he explained: “I wouldn’t be. Well, number one, I’m not gonna get on the stand and testify on somebody for what? […] I wouldn’t go, I wouldn’t testify. None of that shit.”

In the wake of Keefe D’s arrest, an interview he gave to The Art of Dialogue back in July has been resurfacing on social media. During the conversation, he admitted that speaking openly about the incident had him worried about jail. “Them dudes was kids, man. Both of them dudes was kids back then,” he said at the time, referring to Deandre “Big Dre” Smith and Orlando Anderson. “Dre was an All-CIF basketball player. He had a nice shot, dunking, all that shit. Dre was an athlete. He wasn’t about that.” From there, the interviewer pressed Keefe. He answered: “Man. We don’t need to discuss that. We already discussed that. What are you trying to get me in jail again?” Be on the lookout for further updates on Keefe D’s case on HotNewHipHop.

Tupac’s Former Collaborator Says He Wouldn’t Want Keefe D In Jail

The hip-hop world has been completely magnetized to the Tupac murder trial recently. That’s because Las Vegas police recently arrested Duane Keith “Keefe D” Davis for the murder 27 years after it happened. Keefe’s involvement in the murder has long been known, primarily because he’s continued to talk about it for years. In fact, many believe that the only reason the arrest was made and legal proceedings undertaken is because Keefe wouldn’t stop talking about his role in the slaying. One person who believes that is former Outlawz member Napoleon who sat down with The Art Of Dialogue to discuss the situation.

Napoleon criticizes Keefe D quite a bit in the interview. He begins by claiming that discussing the events of the murder nearly 30 years later was a corny move. But he also explains that Keefe’s internet clout-chasing caught up with him and as a result, his arrest isn’t that surprising. Despite all of that Napoleon insists that Tupac wouldn’t have wanted Keefe D to rot in jail as a result of his role in the crime. It’s a similar sentiment to one that Suge Knight expressed when he talked to TMZ about the ongoing legal proceedings. Check out Napoleon’s full interview below.

Tupac’s Allies Speak Out After Keefe D Arrest

Many people have expressed a belief that restarting the investigation into Tupac’s murder in 2023 was a bad idea. That includes the rapper’s own brother who criticized the move as re-introducing the trauma of his death. He elaborated saying that for him the case was already closed years ago. He also said that he isn’t getting any closure from the ongoing proceedings.

On the other side of things, Pac’s sister expressed happiness that there was finally a push for justice on the rapper’s behalf. It’s a sentiment that Jada Pinkett Smith also agreed with when asked about the developments. What do you think of Napoleon’s comments on Keefe D’s arrest for Tupac’s murder? Rick Ross Reveals That He Has Spent Over $100 Million In The Last Six Months: Watch

He essentially stepped into the rap game taking over in his own way with his hit from ’06, “Hustlin.’” It is safe to say that this song embodies what he is all about. From that point forward, he worked relentlessly to grow his musical catalog. Over time, he gained a lot of knowledge about how to increase his income. It all started to come together once he signed his seven-figure deal with Dej Jam and Jay-Z.

One of the conversations was about how he put aside his $1 million. It taught him how to be smart with his money. Once he saw how quickly he could make a lot, he continued to up the ante. “F*** a mil. You got that right off the rip, you got to readjust this s***. Now it’s five [million].” After all of the grinding and smart investments over the years, Ross is able to get involved with more projects.
