PETA Unveils Pete Davidson Halloween Costume

PETA is refusing to let go of their recent viral fame after Pete Davidson left an expletive-filled voicemail for a senior exec at the animal charity. TMZ revealed that PETA will be selling a Pete Davidson Halloween costume for $100, with all money going to their spay and neuter programs. The costume includes a mask of Davidson’s face, a baseball cap with a censored expletive, a hoodie that reads “I should have adopted” and a small toy dog with a bandana that reads “Shelter Dogs Rule”.

Alongside the launch of the costume, PETA President Ingrid Newkirk released a statement about the costume. “It’s too late for Pete to undo his puppy purchase or that voice mail, but it’s never too late to save a dog’s life by choosing adoption and shunning pet shops and other dog breeders.” Newkirk also said that the proceeds of the costume would go towards helping reduce the stray and homeless animal population in the United States.

Pete Davidson Isn’t Laughing

However, speaking with TMZ, Davidson’s team didn’t find the costume very funny. “It’s disgusting they’d capitalize on someone’s mental health and not to mention illegal to use his likeness,” a source told the outlet. Davidson voluntarily checked into a mental health facility earlier this year to seek help for his PTSD and borderline personality disorder. While he has been seen doing shows in Florida, he is reportedly still very much in recovery.

Furthermore, PETA should be careful about the height of their horse. The Pete Davidson Halloween costume is just the latest viral stunt from the charity. Additionally, it’s the latest campaign that feels more like getting headlines than actually helping animals. Meanwhile, PETA still very much refuses to address the numbers when it comes to a much darker topic. Despite being “pro-animal”, PETA operates kill shelters and consistently kills thousands of animals a year. This remains a developing story and we’ll have any updates if they emerge.

Delray Beach, Florida, isn’t just a sun-kissed haven for beach lovers. It’s where the world of tennis met its prodigious sensation, Coco Gauff. Born in 2004, Cori “Coco” Gauff had tennis DNA, courtesy of her athletic parents, but her destiny was more than just heritage. While most kids her age juggled school assignments, Coco brandished her racket and mastered the courts.

At 8, she began her journey to dominate junior tennis tournaments, leaving audiences and competitors marveling at her tenacity and skill. With an insatiable hunger to excel and a willpower that belied her age, Gauff charted a trajectory that many could only dream of. By 2023, while many her age were just launching their careers, she had already amassed a net worth of $3.5 million, according to Cosmopolitan.

In the chronicles of tennis, few stories are as meteoric as Coco’s. By 14, she was already turning heads, winning the French Open junior title, marking her as one to watch. But it was the Wimbledon Championships of 2019 where Coco truly announced her arrival, defeating Venus Williams, a tennis titan. This wasn’t just any victory; it was symbolic, almost poetic. The young taking the torch from the seasoned.

With every championship, her grace, agility, and indomitable spirit shone, solidifying her as a mainstay in the tennis elite. From the U.S. Open to the Australian Open, Coco consistently showcased her ability not just to compete but conquer. Accolades weren’t just confined to titles. With a tight-knit family, her bond with her parents and siblings forms the core of her universe. It’s this foundation that keeps her grounded amidst the whirlwind of fame. A modern teenager at heart, Coco also revels in music, occasionally sharing her playlists, bridging her love for rhythm with her tennis tempo. However, beneath the fun-loving teen exterior lies a mature individual, reflective, aware, and remarkably attuned to the world around her.

Drake Accused Of Getting Bobbi Althoff’s Interview Taken Down By New Fan Theory

A fan theory going around on TikTok has put forth the idea that Drake got his recent interview with Bobbi Althoff taken down. A user on the platform explained in a lengthy video that they think the reason he played an extended clip of Tyga’s “Rack City” during the interview was so it could be copyright struck afterward.

“Drake paid her travel to come to his location,” the TikToker, whose username is @PhotogSteve81, began. “Negotiated where his team would produce, film and control mostly everything about the podcast. He then goes on to play Tyga’s ‘Rack City.’ He specifically leaves it playing and airs a very long clip in the episode which now appears to have been his leverage he planted in the beginning.”

He further explained: “Drake’s team reached out to Universal Music Group which owns the rights to ‘Rack City’ and filed a copyright strike against Bobbi’s podcast. They filed it under the terms that YouTube has with Universal Music. This meant that all of the proceeds from the podcast would have to be turned over to Universal Music or Bobbi would be facing a very large lawsuit… Bobbi’s team, realizing they would not be able to monetize their biggest podcast in history, decided to pull the podcast.” Check out the full explanation of the theory below.

Fans Theorize Drake’s “Mastermind” Plan

Despite being extremely popular, Althoff seemed to pull the full interview shortly after uploading it. Later, the two unfollowed each other on Instagram and theories about their fallout began to spread online. While the aforementioned theory posits that “Rack City” was the center of the drama, Althoff sat down with Tyga for their own interview afterward. Other theories have suggested that Drake and Althoff hooked up, but she shot the idea down on Instagram.

GloRilla Teams Up With Tons Of Female Memphis Rappers For Gnarly Cut, “Wrong One”

Memphis songstress, GloRilla continues to have a knack for bringing wild energy to a track. Even when a song is a bit more low-key, the rapper can turn the levels up to 1000 in a hurry. For example, look at her feature from Don Toliver’s latest record, Love Sick. She lays down a feature on the third track, “Leave The Club,” which also includes Lil Durk. Toliver is singing and rapping about leaving the nightlife to head back to his place to get things more intimate if you will.

However, near the backend of the track, the beat picks up and changes to where GloRilla can come in and dominate it. Her deep rumble provides a menacing element that you might not expect. But, that is what she can do for a song. It is a skill that is helping her blow up in the mainstream and fans are starting to pay attention to her unique sound.

Spice Breaks Her Silence Amid Erica Mena Slur Controversy

Erica Mena has recently been under fire for a comment she made about Spice during an altercation on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. The two of them got into an argument at a restaurant, and things escalated when Spice brought up Mena’s son. Mena responded by calling Spice a “blue monkey,” and has since been hit with a ton of backlash. The scandal has even resulted in Mena getting booted from the next season of the show.

Various social media users and peers have weighed in on the debacle, with many claiming that Mena’s use of the slur showcased racism or colorism. Now, Spice herself has chimed in, and she seems to agree. The rapper has been facing her own criticism for bringing Mena’s family into their debate, and she hopped on Instagram Live to share her thoughts. “I’m not being ignorant; I’m not playing victim,” she explained. “I am taking full accountability because you said I experienced the racism because I triggered her. So, is that a new thing now in 2023? It’s okay to receive racism as long as you’re angry? I’m just asking. Feel free to let me know.”

Spice Says Backlash Is A Result Of Colorism

Spice continued, sharing a photo of herself with lighter skin. “If I looked like this then some of the Black people who are commenting that it’s okay would not be saying what they’re saying,” she explained. “You can play hypocrite if you want.” She went on to clarify the comment she made about Mena’s family during the argument, noting that she didn’t go after Mena’s son personally, but rather her parenting.

“I would never say anything bad about someone’s child,” she explained. “I have two kids, I have God kids, I love kids.” Spice continued, “I came for Erica’s parenting, and I can take full accountability for that because that’s exactly where I was coming from, because that’s what we were talking about.” Keep an eye on HNHH for more updates on Spice and Erica Mena.

Trace Cyrus Targets His Exes In Another Bizarre Anti-Woman Rant

Trace Cyrus, the one-hit wonder of the Cyrus family, is back with another rant that he aimed at women. “I genuinely feel bad for any girl I’ve been with that has to live with the regret of losing me. There’s girls I’ve dated even over a decade ago still trying to get another chance with me. Some of them are in new relationships & have had to settle for what I know they find less desirable but they’ve settle for what they can get,” the former Metro Station guitarist wrote.

Furthermore, he continued. “They’re beautiful woman everywhere but there actually many good, attractive, hard working men, with high values and morals. Ladies if you find one of these men do all you can to hold onto him. Don’t allow petty emotions and irrational decisions to cause you to lose a man that truly loves you. Any man who thinks highly of himself and knows his value will have no problem walking away from a relationship if he isn’t being treated with the love & respect he knows he deserves. No girl that lost me has had their life improve by me no longer being a part of it.” Truly inspirational stuff.

Trace Cyrus Clowned Mercilessly

Unfortunately for Trace, everything he just said was absolute garbage. Following on from his anti-OnlyFans rant last week, Trace puts all the onus on women. “Ladies if you find one of these men do all you can to hold onto him. Don’t allow petty emotions and irrational decisions to cause you to lose a man that truly loves you.” is just such terrible advice. Furthermore, when combined with the sentiment a few sentences later in which Trace says that none of his exes’ lives improved their lives by cutting him out of it tells you all you need to know. Cyrus views women as property and subserviant to men. Don’t have autonomy, don’t make “irrational decisions” because your worth is tied to your ability to have a man in your life.

Furthermore, people have been combing Cyrus’ social media to dunk on him. That became very easy to do when they found an image of Cyrus making out with a woman for an upcoming music video. “So I guess the actress in this video that is helping you make money doesn’t deserve to be “wifed up?”,” wrote one commenter. Meanwhile, plenty of people commented how the photo looks “very OnlyFans” to them. In short, Trace Cyrus, who also recently said he’d be more successful if his family wasn’t talented, is a dumbass. Don’t listen to his whiny advice and instead, just live the life that makes you happy. Your worth is not defined by your romantic relationships.

Sampha Shared The Release Date For His Long-Awaited ‘Lahai’ Album With The Surreal ‘Only’ Video

At long last, Sampha has finally shared the release date for his sophomore album, Lahai. Marking his first album in seven years, Lahai will be released later this fall.

Ahead of the album, Sampha has shared a new song, “Only,” a genre-defying song detailing the mysterious inner workings of Sampha’s mind. Equally as enigmatic is the song’s accompanying music video, which features Sampha opening a book and traveling through a mythical universe.

Though Sampha has been away from the spotlight for a while, he looks forward to making a return to music. In a recent interview with Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe, Sampha described the mixed feelings he’s been experiencing as his Lahai album is rolling out.

“It’s such a weird thing, sometimes it feels more like a dream when it’s actually out there in the world and the collective consciousness is making sense of it,” He said. “It’s a strange thing, but it’s lovely, it’s beautiful, and I’m into it. For me and just artists, we move on quite quickly, so sometimes seeing it, getting it out, it feels like the final stage of being able to move on with this.”

You can see the video for “Only” above.

Lahai is out 10/20 via Young. Find more information here.
