Post Malone Just Bought The Viral, 1-Of-1 ‘Magic: The Gathering’ Card That’s Been Valued At Over $2 Million

Post Malone is a noted Magic: The Gathering fan: He teamed up with the long-running card game for a promotion in 2021, at which time Wizards Of The Coast Head of Franchise Marketing Nathan Stewart said, “You’d be hard-pressed to find a bigger fan of Magic: The Gathering than Post Malone.” That indeed seems to be true, as he just bought one of the most important cards in the franchise’s history.

On June 20, MTG released its The Lord Of The Rings: Tales Of Middle-Earth set, and what’s especially notable here is the holographic The One Ring card, of which only one was made. The card was found later that month, but even before that, it drew offers of over $2 million. Now, the person who found the card has cashed out, by selling it to, of course, Posty.

The guy who found the card, a Canadian named Brook Trafton, shared a video of himself meeting up with Post to sell the rapper the card. He wrote in his tweet, “This is my dream come true, meeting @PostMalone and him buying the One Ring card from me is literally a moment straight out of a fairytale. @PostMalone @wizards_magic you’ve changed my life. Things like this don’t happen to people like me. Forever grateful #mtg #onering.”

It’s not clear how much Malone spent on the card, but if it was anywhere near the card’s valuation, this transaction did indeed change Trafton’s life.

Malone has poured some serious money into MTG: last year, he spent $800K on what was then the game’s most expensive card. Malone, by the way, is depicted on his own official MTG card.

Although, she has since revealed that this was a mistake. Now, she is flourishing and living life the way she wants. Unfortunately for her, she is still being dragged into other people’s mess. This was on full display recently as Summer Walker dragged her into some Lil Meech drama.

As we reported earlier this week, Summer Walker seemingly revealed that she was breaking up with Lil Meech. Moreover, Summer alluded to the fact that this was all due to some infidelity. “Tried my best to be jayda wayda but I couldn’t. It was cute though, I wish him the best,” Summer wrote. “Can’t do that cheatin stuff.” Subsequently, Summer was hit with lots of criticism for bringing another woman into this, especially when she has nothing to do with the situation.

According to HipHopDX, Jayda Cheaves has since responded to Summer Walker in the comments of The Shade Room. “I learned my lesson after ONE kid,” she said. “Mfers round here starting they own trends and trying to INSERT ME in for laughs on the shade room. NO.” In the midst of all of this, Lil Meech was going viral for a Ring camera video in which he could be seen with another woman. However, he has since claimed that he did nothing wrong, and that Summer won’t be leaving him, anytime soon.

Needless to say, Jayda Cheaves is not going to be tolerating any slander or sneak disses. Overall, you really cannot blame her for taking this approach. Charleston White is someone who exists solely to poke the bear. Every single time you hear his name, it is because he is doing something wild on social media. Overall, he is a very disrespectful person. Whether it be his enemies or those he doesn’t even know, he always has to say the most ridiculous thing possible. Although this does get him into trouble, he simply keeps doing it. Of course, this helps gain him clout, and if he were to stop, people would forget about his existence entirely.

Recently, Charleston White found himself on a livestream with the likes of Adin Ross. Ross is also a provocateur of sorts who has gotten himself into trouble in the past. However, during this particular livestream, it was clear that White was the aggressor, while Ross was taken a bit off guard. In the video clip below, you can see the extent of the interaction. As it turns out, things were going fine until White decided to bring up Bronny James and his recent medical emergency.

It was yet another example of Charleston White flying just a bit too close to the sun.

Although, we truly doubt this will stop him from acting in this manner. It has become his staple, and he is more than happy to stir the pot for thousands of viewers. Drake Pays Tribute To Gillie Da Kid’s Son, Gillie Reacts

Drake is someone who has always been quick to speak out on topics within hip-hop culture. Although he may not be doing interviews with the big hip-hop podcasts, he still speaks on the culture in his own time. In fact, sometimes he will do this during his concerts. It’s always nice to see, especially when he paying tribute to someone, or simply giving them their flowers. On Monday night in Philadelphia, Drizzy decided to comment on the passing of YNG Cheese.

YNG Cheese was the son of popular media personality and artist Gillie Da Kid. Overall, this was an incredibly sad story that had the hip-hop world rallying behind the Philly native. In the video clip below, shared by Gillie, you can hear Drake’s positive words. “Before we get started, one of our friends, our brothers in this shit, lost his son the other day,” Drake said. “So I wanna dedicate this show tonight to Cheese. Y’all make some noise for Gillie and his son Cheese. Express some positivity!”

Drake Offers Condolences

Subsequently, Gillie took to his Instagram page where he thanked Drake for his kindness. Moreover, he claimed that Drizzy’s words ultimately brought him to tears. “@champagnepapi Me n And Family appreciate u From the bottom of Our hearts,” Gillie wrote. “I watch u put a smile on my kids face at this ruff time [heart emoji] love u 4 that [100 emoji] but ur nut a$$ ain’t have to have me cryin like that in front of all them people u could of warned Me [crying and laughing emojis] #LLCheese.”

[WATCH] Offset Explains His Cheating Past: ‘I Was Young and Getting a Lot of Money’

Offset revealed why he cheated in a new conversation with Angela Yee, stating he “was in a different space.”

“I was young. I had just got married. I’m getting a lot of money,” Offset said. “Really, it was communication. We got married and then we ain’t really, our communication was good, but I wasn’t saying my wants and needs, and vice versa. Sometimes you feel like you’ll bump heads when you not communicating. We both in the front, center stage, all our business is always public.”

Offset also revealed he was using lean and making bad decisions while solely thinking about himself.

Offset is officially backtracking accusations of Cardi B cheating on him. At the end of June, Offset got the timeline in an uproar by suggesting Cardi B cheated on him, getting a response from the rap queen via Twitter spaces. Cardi would say, “Stop acting stupid.”

Cardi B opened the audio stream by singing Keyshia Cole’s “I Should’ve Cheated” before giving a more formal statement.

“Don’t pay attention to the country man, y’all,” Cardi said. “I’m fuckin Cardi B. If I was giving this pussy to anybody, it would be out. I’m just not anybody. I can’t fuckin no regular degular shmegular because they gon tell the world. I can’t fuck nobody in the industry cause they gon tell too.

“So please boy, stop acting stupid. Don’t play with me.”

Now, Offset revealed to Angela Yee the moment sparked because he had too much tequila in his system.

“That post, to be honest, that’s my wife, I love her to death,” Offset opened. If you got a New York woman, you got a pitbull at the mouth. We was going back and forth, I like a lil Casamigos, I was lit and I said, ‘watch this.’ I love my wife at the end of the day but she crazy man.”

Cardi’s message came after a post-and-delete from Offset, which Cardi says stems from another Twitter Spaces chat.

Offset is taking it to a new level, dropping off the single for “Jealousy” featuring Cardi B. The video opens with Jamie Lee Curtis narrating the drama. The two directly address the issues between the two in the bars. In the visual, Offset evokes Jodi from Baby Boy, leaving the crib and hopping on his bike to ride through the streets of LA.

Keeping it to the Baby Boy theme, Cardi B calls her homegirl to complain, who happened to be the original Yvette, Taraji P. Henson.

After an impressive opening run from Offset, including a beat transition that forces a head nod, Cardi B tags in for a float of her own, adding on to her impressive run of features through 2023.

After confirming a split with Lil Meech, Summer Walker blasted the BMF star after he was caught on a Ring camera with another woman. Meech hit Instagram and said he was helping his cousin with whom he went to the grocery store.

Summer would hit her Instagram stories with a statement:

It’s just crazy how a nigga will really try to pursue the fuck out of you for 2 years, make you meet they whole family, wanna be around you and your kids all day, & pay bills just to embarass you to the world lmao

When Summer Walker and Lil Meech went public with their relationships, fans couldn’t get enough! While the linkup between the R&B songstress and BMF star was unexpected, the internet quickly accepted the love affair as fans could only sit back and wish for the best. 

Now, it seems Summer Walker is fed up with Lil Meech’s shenanigans. Sharing to her 5.7 million followers on Instagram, the “Girls Need Love” recording artist shared her thoughts on Instagram Story: “Tried my best to be jayda wayda but I couldn’t.” This seemingly alludes to Jayda Cheaves’ relationship with Lil Baby, which ended up in a split.

In fact, Jayda entered the chat on The Shade Room, commenting, ““I learned my lesson after ONE kid. Mfers round here starting they own trends and tryna INSERT ME in for laughs on the shade room. NO 😭”

Summer Walker continued on her Story: “It was cute though, I wish him the best.”

On the next slide, Summer Walker confirmed by writing, “Can’t do that cheatin stuff.”

To further fuel the fire, Summer Walker proceeded to post a 54-second clip from her interview with Yung Miami, touching on what she won’t put up with in a relationship.

Just earlier this month, a woman named Tiffany Marie DM’ed Summer Walker on Instagram, claiming she was pregnant with Lil Meech’s child. She wrote, “Hey girl, I just wanted to come to you woman to woman before I go to the blogs. Me and Meech have been seeing each other for the past four months and now I am pregnant. He blocked me on social media so I can’t even reach him and he changed his phone number. So maybe you can relay the message since he decided to ghost me.”

Meech then took things into his own hands, responding to Tiffany via Summer’s IG. He wrote: “Bitch, why are you lying. This meech. You don’t know me. Stop playing before I have somebody at your job.”

Sadly, this wasn’t the first time Meech had been caught in infidelity. And now, looks like Summer Walker is moving on to bigger and better things.

Fans at the Renaissance World Tour in Boston pointed out that Beyoncé skipped over Lizzo’s name during her “Queens Remix” performance of “Break My Soul.” The segment normally lists the iconic women throughout music history. During that performance, Beyoncé repeated Erykah Badu‘s last name instead.

This follows a scathing lawsuit that accused Lizzo of multiple forms of harassment and discrimination. You can read more on that here.
