Coolio’s Longtime Manager Appointed Control Of Late Rapper’s Estate After No Will Found
6ix9ine Honors XXXTentacion At Concert In Romania
6ix9ine paid tribute to the late XXXTentacion on stage during a performance in Romania over the weekend. The late rapper was shot and killed near a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida back in 2018. He was just 20 years old.
“One of my friends died back in 2018. And at all my shows, I wanna keep his name alive,” 6ix9ine told the audience. “Do you guys know XXXTentacion?” He added: “Before he died, he messaged me and said, ‘don’t let your guard down and be safe and I love you.’” He went on to refer to X as his “best” competitor in the music industry.

The performance comes after the release of 6ix9ine’s newest song, “Y Ahora,” which he dropped earlier this week. It isn’t the first time that 6ix9ine has taken an uncharacteristically serious tone while discussing the death of X. Back in 2018, he paused another show to praise the late artist. “Sometimes I feel like I do too much trolling. Sometimes I feel like I do too much,” 6ix9ine said at the time. “And tomorrow’s not promised, you know what I mean? I feel like someone might get the wrong image of me. You could be here today and be gone tomorrow. X spread nothing but positivity. Always called me on the phone, ‘Danny, are you okay?’ ‘Danny, you’re doing this the right way just try to do more of this. You could call me, talk to me like what’s going on.’… Knowing that he was nothing but positive and nobody wanted to harm him.”
Prior to his death, XXXTentacion had become one of the biggest rising hip-hop artists in the world. His breakout single, “Look at Me,” peaked at number 34 on the US Billboard Hot 100 launching him into mainstream success. His debut album 17 is certified triple-platinum in the US and reached number two on the Billboard 200. Further, his second album ? debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and is certified quadruple-platinum in the US. Check out 6ix9ine’s comments on XXXTentacion below.

Fans Angry Over Live-Action Flounder In “The Little Mermaid”
Users on social media are not happy about the way Flounder looks in Disney’s upcoming live-action remake, The Little Mermaid. Many joked about the fish appearing to look “too realistic” while others compared his looks to Steve Buscemi. The concerns come just weeks ahead of its highly anticipated premiere.
“Maybe I’m being out of line here, but I was expecting The Little Mermaid characters to be idk… CUTE,” one person complained, as noted by The Daily Mail. “Live action animation doesn’t have to be expressionless. At least give our boy Flounder his chubby cheeks back!!!!!” Another asked, “Why does Flounder look like a depressed 40-year-old chain smoker with three kids and a mortgage he can’t pay.” One more user posted, “NOT MY FLOUNDER GETTING THE STEVE BUSCEMI TREATMENT. Y’ALL I’M CRYIN.” Another user also made the same comparison: “Not they put Flounder on Ozempic! Why he so skinny??? This fish look like Steve Buscemi.”
Halle Bailey On Stage At D23 Expo 2022
The character of Flounder, who is played by Jacob Tremblay in the film, was briefly revealed at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Wednesday. However, the criticism of his looks picked up stream after Disney released the film’s character posters later in the day. The social media account for the Southlake, Texas Department of Public Safety even called the visual “a crime,” and joked, “we’re just trying to find out which one.”
The upcoming live-action take on The Little Mermaid is directed by Rob Marshall. It stars Halle Bailey in the titular role with the supporting cast made up of Jonah Hauer-King, Daveed Diggs, Awkwafina, Jacob Tremblay, Noma Dumezweni, Javier Bardem, and Melissa McCarthy. The Little Mermaid will hit theaters on May 26. It will be the latest of several adaptations Disney has done in the live-action style. They also remade Mulan in 2020, The Lion King in 2019, and more, with additional films scheduled for release in the coming years.

Cole Bennett Announces Chicago Bears Draft Pick: “I’m Off A Few Bud Lights”
Cole Bennett of Lyrical Lemonade fame announced the Chicago Bears’ third-round pick at the NFL Draft on Friday night in Kansas City. The iconic music video director and Illinois native shared on stage that the team selected defensive tackle Zacch Pickens with the 64th overall pick. The 23-year-old played college football at South Carolina.
“It’s pretty crazy to be here right now,” Bennett said to the audience. “I’m off a few Bud Lights so give me a second here. But I recognize that I’m in Kansas City, so go Chiefs. But I’m really here to say bear down. Where we at Chicago?”
Zacch Pickens At The NFL Combine
Cole Bennett has made a name for himself in Chicago specifically for organizing Lyrical Lemonade’s annual Summer Smash Festival. This year, Kid Cudi, Future, and Playboi Carti have been tapped as headliners with special guests including $UICIDEBOY$, Lil Uzi Vert, and “a very special Chicago guest” also set to appear. Other artists on the lineup include Vince Staples, Ice Spice, GloRilla, Freddie Gibbs, Rico Nasty, Juicy J, BabyTron, Ski Mask The Slump God, NLE Choppa, G Herbo, Lil B, Tee Grizzly, Cordae, Trippie Redd, Central Cee, and Lucki, among others.
As for the Bears’ young prospect, Zacch Pickens is listed at 6-foot-4 and 291-pounds as an athletic interior lineman. After the selection, general manager Ryan Poles likened him to former Kansas City Chiefs star Dontari Poe. “Like I say, there’s a level of multiplier where they can help other people as well, free other individuals up to make plays. Those guys have those pieces,” he said of the team’s selections. “And then the other thing is just coming up through the ranks, grade the flashes. Grade the flashes.” With all of their selections, the Bears will look to bounce back from a disappointing 2022 season that saw them finish with a record of just 3-14.

Nia Long Shares Message About “Revenge” After Ime Udoka Lands Rockets Job
Nia Long shared a message about not focusing on revenge on Instagram, Saturday. The post comes after her ex-partner, Ime Udoka, landed a job as the new head coach of the Houston Rockets. Udoka was infamously suspended from the Boston Celtics for violating team policies with regard to an improper intimate relationship with a female team staff member.
“The best revenge, is no revenge, Move on. Be happy,” the statement Nia Long posted reads. She added a heart emoji in the caption of the post. It’s the second post seemingly referencing her ex that Nia Long recently shared. She also commented on a video of Stephen A. Smith defending her, thanking him for the support.
Nia Long With Ime Udoka
“Even if they’re not together, that is the father of her child,” Smith began. “If you mention him and another woman, inevitably, she’s going to come up. How come nobody thought about the sister? How come they just left her out there standing on her own? I will always defend her. I will always defend her on this issue. It was- how could you do that? You didn’t have to do it that way. But to have a press conference and put this business tacitly or otherwise on Front Street, you didn’t think about Nia Long at all. But you thought about the other woman, who purportedly was white. And the one woman in this equation who was innocent and victimized was not the woman that Ime Udoka was messing around with. It was Nia Long. She was the one screwed over!”
“Thank you @stephenasmith for your support. TBC…” she wrote while adding a quote from Malcolm X. “‘The most disrespected person in America is the black woman’ – Malcolm X.” Udoka accepted the job as the head coach of the Houston Rockets on Tuesday. It’s his first gig in the league since his Celtics suspension.

Sydney Sweeney & Fiancé Jonathan Davino Step Out Amid Glen Powell Rumors
Sydney Sweeney and her fiancé, Jonathan Davino, stepped out together in New York City on Friday night. The two were spotted leaving an Armani Beauty event and going for a walk, according to TMZ. The night out comes amid rumors of a romance between Sweeney and her Anyone But You co-star, Glen Powell.
The rumors mostly stem from a flirtatious attitude between the two actors who are promoting the film. “I love when she calls me [Top Gun],” Powell said at a recent press event. He also remarked that the film will lean into its r-rating heavily. “We go for the ‘Hard R’ which is really, really fun,” Powell said while on the red carpet at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. “When was the last time you saw a Hard-R RoCom that’s big and it’s cinematic, everybody’s in swimsuits, looking good?”

While Sweeney has mostly kept private about her love life, she did discuss her dating preferences during an interview with Cosmopolitan in 2022. “I don’t date people in the spotlight. I don’t date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way and it’s easiest,” she said at the time. She added: “I have a great support system, I look for a best friend. I need to be able to be with someone who I can literally hang out with 24/7 and never get sick of and we laugh every single day.”
The rest of the cast for Anyone But You features Dermot Mulroney, Alexandra Shipp, Rachel Griffiths, and more, while Will Gluck directed the movie. Gluck is best known for Easy A with Emma Stone and Penn Badgley as well as Friends With Benefits with Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis.
