Anthony Davis Has A Message For LeBron James

Anthony Davis is going to have to step up and lead this Lakers team through a very difficult stretch of basketball. As we reported yesterday, LeBron James is going to miss a significant amount of games over the next couple of weeks. Overall, this is due to a foot injury that will be re-evaluated in about two weeks from now. Ultimately, this is horrible timing for the Lakers as they are trying to get themselves into the postseason. Although, without LeBron, that task is going to be a whole lot harder.

Last night, the Lakers played against the Memphis Grizzlies, who are the second-ranked team in the Western Conference. In the end, it was the Grizzlies who were able to come out on top. Consequently, the road to the playoffs has become significantly more difficult for the purple and gold. They will have to win a higher percentage of games to end the season, and there is no telling if they can actually pull that off. The Lakers are now relying on AD, who had a message for James after last night’s game.

“I don’t want him to rush back early,” Davis said. “I want him to get completely right and healthy before he comes back. It’s on us to step up and win basketball games.” Rushing back early would be the worst possible thing for LeBron to do. However, it is clear that Anthony Davis needs some help. The Lakers were able to improve their roster at the trade deadline, but they still aren’t as good as some of the other teams in the West. Needless to say, fans in Los Angeles better start praying for a miracle.

As for the Grizzlies, they are a team trying to get back on track. They went on a huge losing skid recently, but seem to be back in the driver’s seat. [WATCH] Tamron Hall Grills Larsa Pippen About Relationship With Michael Jordan’s Son

Talk show host Tamron Hall pressed Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife Larsa Pippen about her relationship with Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus Jordan. The Real Housewives of Miami star showed up for a sitdown interview with Tamron.  Larsa confronted Hall, telling the television veteran she felt she was being treated negatively during the Tamron Hall Show interview.

Larsa shared the details on her and Marcus Jordan’s unexpected romance — admitting she “thinks” the pair are in love! The reality star insisted she and her beau “are in a really good place” even though some judge their 16-year age gap.

“Age doesn’t determine your level of maturity,” the The Real Housewives of Miami cast member, 48, stated, then explaining how the two’s friendship grew into something more.

“I feel like a lot of people think we’ve known each other for our whole lives and we have not. We met four years ago at a party,” Pippen spilled, noting they bonded over some of the things they have in common, such as being from Chicago.

Hall asked why the mom-of-four decided to pursue a romance given the fact her ex-husband, Scottie Pippen, has a feud with Marcus’ father, Michael Jordan.

“That’s how Scottie feels. He has a right to the way he feels,” she replied. “I personally don’t really care about what other people … I live my truth, I’m happy.”

Larsa emphasized she never “planned” to date Marcus, 32, but it’s something that “just happened” since they continued to hangout in the same social circle.
When Tamron asked if his parents were ok with their relationship, Larsa assured both of their parents are content. “Everyone’s fine. When you’re an adult, your parents just want to see you happy,” the Bravo fan favorite shared, noting she’s received his folks’ blessing. “We’ve spent holidays together. We’re in a great place.”

Hall asked if Larsa felt she should discuss her relationships with her ex, Larsa replied no. “Do you feel like you should ask your ex about your future love interest?”

“The only conversations we have are based on our kids,” she elaborated. “I don’t ask him who he’s dating, he doesn’t ask me who I’m dating.”

“As long as my kids are happy … my kids love Marcus. We travel together, my kids really enjoy spending time with him,” the Illinois native noted. “I feel like I’m in a great place and that’s the most important thing.”

Tory Lanez Sentencing Date Postponed to April

Tory Lanez will sit and await his sentencing a while longer. On Tuesday, a judge set a new sentencing date of April 10 for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the feet in 2020.

According to Fox 11 LA, Lanez has switched attorneys since he was convicted. In a brief hearing on Tuesday, Superior Court Judge David Herriford changed the sentencing date but also agreed to rescind an order that didn’t allow Lanez from publicly speaking on the case.

Lanez and his new legal team will file a motion for a new trial on April 10. He has been behind bars since Dec. 23, 2022, where he was convicted of one felony count each of assault with a semi-automatic firearm, discharging a firearm with gross negligence, and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle.

Lanez is facing 22 years and eight months in prison.

It’s been a rather snowing season in California this year, and it’s impacting its citizens heavily. One of which is Kelis, who hit Instagram to reveal she nearly fell off a cliff after her truck got stuck in the snow.

“My truck got stuck. It’s like hanging off a cliff now,” Kelis said. “It’s crazy how the tow truck actually made it.”

She added, “We’ve been outside for a while, but we had all our snowboarding gear so God is good, and I figured if you’re going to be in this situation, you should at least look your best.”

In the caption, Kelis revealed she had the plan to take her kids into the snow and have a good time, “but we almost fell off a cliff.”

Lori Lightfoot Becomes First Chicago Mayor in 40 Years to Lose Reelection Bid

Lori Lightfoot’s run as Chicago mayor is coming to a close. The city held its mayoral election to close in February, which resulted in Lightfoot conceding and not making the cut for a run-off.

Lightfoot made history as Chicago’s first openly gay and Black woman to take the mayor’s office.

The runoff election is set for April and will feature candidates Paul Vallas and Brandon Johnson.

According to ABC7Chicago, Lightfoot spoke to her base of supporters after her loss and stated she was proud of what she did in the city. One of the hindrances to Lightfoot’s reelection bid is rising crime numbers during her tenure, which has become the top issue for voters.

“Regardless of tonight’s outcome, we fought the right fights, and we put this city on a better path,” Lightfoot said. “Now, as we all know in life, in the end, you don’t always win every battle. But you never regret taking on the powerful and bringing in the light.”

Lightfoot plans to remain a citizen of Chicago once her tenure is over.

A new report reveals Zendaya will bring in $1 million per episode of the show. This comes after Zendaya is a two-time winner for the Outstanding Lead Actress Emmy as her role as Rue Bennett.

According to GQ, Zendaya was an executive producer on the show for the second season and became the youngest person ever to be nominated for a production Emmy at 25.

Over the weekend, Zendaya appeared at the NAACP Image Awards, where she had the below moment of “servin’.”

Ever since the growing popularity of Lil Uzi Vert’s hit song “Just Wanna Rock,” there has been a conversation as to whether or no the song has replaced Meek Mill’s “Dreams and Nightmares” as Philadelphia’s official anthem. While some believe “Just Wanna Rock” has taken that spot, others belive that it is still “Dreams and Nightmares.” To settle the debate, who better to ask than legendary DJ and producer, and Philly native, DJ Jazzy Jeff.

HipHopDX caught up to DJ Jazzy Jeff where he gave his pick.

“I don’t think you could ever go against Meek Mill’s ‘Dreams and Nightmares,’” Jeff stated. “Lil Uzi’s ‘Just Wanna Rock’ is a dope song. Everybody loves it, but ‘Dreams and Nightmares’ took the city by storm. It took every sports team by storm. So, it’s going to be ‘Dreams and Nightmares’ for me.”

The conversation was first ignited by DJ Drama who said that “Dreams and Nightmares” had been replaced by “Just Wanna Rock.”

“I think it’s fair to say that ‘Just Wanna Rock’ has replaced — with all due respect — ‘Dreams and Nightmares’ as the new anthem of Philadelphia,” Drama said. “The new anthem of the Philadelphia Eagles this year. I’m looking forward to hearing that song many, many times Super Bowl weekend.”
