Jake Paul Issues A Threat To Tommy Fury

Jake Paul is currently one of the most famous fighters in the entire world. Although many don’t consider him to be a real boxer, he has certainly defeated some real opponents. He has gone up against the likes of Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, and even Anderson Silva. Overall, he remains undefeated and he is ready for his biggest challenge yet. Now, he is about to go up against Tommy Fury, who many see as a real boxer. This could be Jake’s first loss, although he seems to be extremely confident in himself.

For Paul, this could be a make-or-break moment in his career. If he were to lose, then he would forfeit much of his appeal. However, if he wins, then this could be a stepping stone to fighting other actual boxers. At the end of the day, Paul is still very young and he has a lot of room to grow in the sport. For now, Paul remains focused on Tommy Fury, for who he recorded a message for today. In the clip down below, you can see that Jake tried to be as menacing as possible.

Jake Paul Speaks

“Tommy, I hope you’ve enjoyed these last few moments of your career,” Jake said. “This is it, you’re going to be retired from boxing after this. You’re going to be disowned by your family. You’re going to go back to your mother’s maiden name. There’s nothing else that can save you. It’s just me and you — mano a mano.” Moreover, Paul went on to issue a direct threat to Fury. Paul spared no punches here, as he even made a reference to Fury’s newborn child. “So, all that cute little motivation about having a child and fighting for her, all that s*** goes out the window when I’m coming to take your f***ing head off, decapitate you,” Paul said.

This is one of those fights that is going to be impossible to predict. Whenever Paul gets into the ring, it is a complete wild card. That said, it should be very interesting to see how this all plays out. Let us know who you believe will win, down in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the sports world.

Ice-T Says He’ll Never Bet Against Patrick Mahomes

Ice-T’s 2023 has already been quite an eventful one. Along with getting his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, he was also recognized at The Grammys. In early February, he performed in the Hip-Hop’s 50th Anniversary celebration at the award show. From Queen Latifah to Lil Uzi Vert, all eras of rap were acknowledged in their performance. As a matter of fact, in a recent episode the Holdin’ Court Podcast, Ice-T says more artists were meant to be included. “When we did the show, Lil Wayne was in the show, but then he didn’t actually do the performance,” he said. “Something happened on the red carpet. Future was sitting at my table. He was supposed to perform (too), he didn’t perform.”

Either way, the Grammys Hip-Hop display was still an excellent one. Furthermore, while still speaking on the Holdin’ Court Podcast, Ice-T talked a little bit about the recent Super Bowl. After the Kansas City Chiefs knocked off the Philadelphia Eagles, Ice-T had tons of praise for Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Ice-T Marvels At Mahomes

“I made a point never to bet against Mahomes. He’s a magician,” Ice-T said. Mahomes threw for 182 yards and 3 touchdowns in the 38-35 victory. Additionally, he ran for 44 yards on 6 carries. What made this feat particularly spectacular was that Mahomes’ ankle was injured all throughout the playoffs. He re-tweaked the injury during the Super Bowl, but continued playing. However, Ice-T was skeptical about the severity of the injury.

Referred specifically to a late-game run Mahomes had to seal the victory, Ice-T was not convinced Pat was debilitated. .”I think that was an okie-doke,” he said. “The 42 fake. He went on the sideline like, ‘Oh no I’m hurt. I’m hurt.’ He ran like 30 yards! He said, ‘I bet they think I’m hurt. Oh, I’m gone!’” Regardless of the legitimacy of the ankle injury, though, Ice-T still respected Mahomes’ talent. “But he does magic. I’ve seen him with 3 minutes left, score 38 points,” he said. “He’s special, and he doesn’t even look like a football player. He has an arm, and he’s very accurate.” Check out Ice-T’s full discussion about Patrick Mahomes above.

No one had a more impactful year than Future. The hip-hop icon’s “I Never Liked You” album was the highest-selling album in 2022. Future is the only artist to chart a song every week in 2022. In addition, he was Variety Magazine’s Collaborator of the year for his work with Tems, Lil Baby, Drake, and more. “I Never Liked You” surpassed one billion Spotify streams. On the personal side, his non-profit foundation, Freewishes, was recognized as one of the country’s leading philanthropic organizations servicing the youth, senior citizen community, and families in need. Indeed, there has been a lot to celebrate for the legendary artist and his Freebandz label and team.

The “One Big Party Tour” transformed into an opportunity for Future to connect with his fans on a personal level. Still, he was taken aback by all the love and support from his fanbase. The shows sold out, and the fans showed out.

“The One Big Party Tour has been life-changing,” said Future.  “It helps me connect with my fans in ways that are unimaginable. The success and energy from the shows brought such excitement that I want to continue this tour for my fans in more cities. I want to create an experience that forever stays in their memories. I will continue to expand by touring for all my fans around the world and elevate my shows across the globe each time I go out. I’m thankful to my fans for their priceless love and unconditional support! Let’s win again together as ONE.—”

Even Spotify Is Getting In On The AI Trend With Its New Virtual DJ

It seems that everyone is getting into the AI game these days (for better or for worse) and of course, that includes digital streaming platforms. Today, Spotify unveiled its own new AI feature, DJ, which according to Spotify’s press release, sounds a lot like the song radio function already on the platform.

DJ, using OpenAI technology, will look at the music you’ve played, and create what amounts to a virtual DJ set — complete with a realistic AI DJ voice. The voice is modeled by Spotify Head of Cultural Partnerships Xavier “X” Jernigan, but the DJ voice will come up with its dialogue in real-time using AI voice generator Sonatic.

According to Spotify, this is how premium users in the US and Canada can access the new function:

1. Head to your Music Feed on Home in the Spotify mobile app on your iOS or Android device.
2. Tap Play on the DJ card.
3. Let Spotify do the rest! The DJ will serve a lineup of music alongside short commentary on the songs and artists, picked just for you.
4. Not feeling the vibe? Just hit the DJ button at the bottom right of the screen to be taken to a different genre, artist, or mood.

Spotify says that more voices and features will round out in the future. As long as they stay far away from the sort of racial caricature symbolized by AI rapper FN Meka, this one seems like a win, a potentially useful form of music discovery that can add the context that can take a song from “this is cool” to “this is my new favorite song, album, and artist.”

Andrew Tate To Remain In Jail For 30 More Days: Details

A Romanian court has ruled to extend Andrew Tate’s hold for another 30 days, as reported on Tuesday (February 21st). The social media influencer, largely known for his controversial viewpoints, initially was detained following human trafficking allegations. The ongoing investigation into the suspicions of organized crime has warranted three 30-day extensions since Andrew’s initial arrest on December 29th, according to AP News. Accompanying the 36-year-old is his brother, Tristan. The duo was initially joined in custody by two Romanian women who will now be moved to house arrest.

The legal team representing the Tate brothers had appealed a prior extension ruling on February 1st, which they ultimately lost. Should the defendants be faced with another extension next month, the defense team is ready to challenge it, the outlet reports. Eugene Vidineac, one of the Tates’ lawyers, described how his team “effectively paralyzed the evidence,” resulting in insufficient reasons for the brothers to remain in custody.

Andrew, the older sibling of the two, boasts over five million followers on his social media pages. The influencer still has access to his accounts while behind bars and took to Twitter on February 14th to reflect on his situation: ”there are two possible futures of the universe. One, they kill me. Two, I emerge as one of the most respected and influential men on the planet galvanized by false persecution. I ask my enemies to make a choice. I will stay awake tonight prepared for mortal combat. Send your best.” Often referred to as misogynistic and hateful, the former kickboxing champion gained recognition for broadcasting his viewpoints online. Having resided in Romania since 2017, Tate maintains his opinion that his arrest was a premeditated political attack by the Romanian government.

According to Romania’s anti-organized crime agency, DIICOT, the human-trafficking case’s six alleged victims were revealed to have experienced mental and physical abuse from their captors. Additionally, the suspects forced the victims to film pornographic materials for their own financial gain. While the case has not led to any formal charges yet, it looks like the Tate brothers won’t be getting off easily any time soon. SZA Explains Frustrations With TDE Early In Her Career

As S.O.S. continues to break records, SZA is the new cover girl for Billboard. The outlet named the singer their Woman of the Year, and she caught up with them to pose in a stunning photoshoot and speak on the album and the evolution of her career. In 2013, SZA’s life changed when she signed a deal with Top Dawg Entertainment. The Carson, California-based label was making waves with their Rap-heavy roster, but the songbird caught their attention. Soon, she was the First Lady of TDE.

“I didn’t mind the lack of female artists. I just felt like I was always the first to do something, and that was frustrating. It was me telling y’all I need hair and makeup because I’m super hands-on, on top of being a woman. I’m making PowerPoints trying to explain why I want to be in this type of publication versus that type of publication.”

SZA Remembers Early Days With TDE

The climb to the top wasn’t easy for SZA. “It was tough,” she recalled. “But by the same token, I think all of us grew together at the same time. They never had to do anything like this before, and we were all being so randomly innovative together by trying to figure out what makes sense. And I also liked that they weren’t trying to clean me up and look like anybody else.”

It was important for the singer to have certain levels of creative freedom. It seems that TDE let her express herself as is. “They were just taking me as I was,” she further shared. “That was really priceless, just to express myself visually how I wanted to and without the judgment of “Let’s make her pretty or sparkly and shiny and sterile.”

SZA Reveals S.O.S. Deluxe Will Arrive Soon

With S.O.S. taking over playlists and charts, a deluxe version is only fitting. SZA shared that the updated installment of her sophomore record is on the horizon, and it will host an impressive 10 extra tracks. “After I do the deluxe, I’m hoping to be able to accept that this chapter is done,” said SZA. “I’m looking forward to actually feeling proud of myself and not just smiling and nodding at accolades but really feeling it internally and knowing that I’m good enough.”

Tierra Whack Responds To Philly Arrest In New Freestyle

Fans of North Philadelphia’s Tierra Whack haven’t heard much from the spitter since her arrest in November for a loaded weapon. They have, however, become accustomed to her one-off, random freestyle uploads on social media. Now, the emcee is back with her second delivery of the year, this time rapping over SZA’s “Smoking on my Ex Pack” instrumental. Whack even alludes to her disorderly conduct charge in the new Instagram Reel.

Dressed in an “I Heart Me” tee and checkerboard hat, the Whack World artist starts off the freestyle announcing she’s back, seemingly missing her lyrical exercises. The rapper has only been heard on a snippet The Roots’ “Misunderstood“ track since her 2021 R&B? EP. “I’m not lightskin like Tiny, I ain’t throwin’ shade to her or Toya / B*tch I’m on pop, you’re nothing, Goya / I don’t ever panic ‘cause I got a good lawyer.” The last line in the bar alludes to her airport arrest, which according to her may have not ever happened. After a brief scoff, Tierra Whack goes on to tell fans not to believe everything they hear in the media.

Tierra Whack Denies She Was Ever Arrested

”When I got arrested y’all acted surprised, but I had them bars ever since I was nine/ I was never arrested, the news is just lyin’,” Whack continues. “On a scale of one to eight, I give it a[n] eight, ‘cause that’s what I did.” Last year, her supporters were shocked at reports of the rapper’s gun being scanned by an X-ray checkpoint. The weapon was recovered with six bullets in the chamber, which authorities perceived to be a serious overlook. According to reports, Tierra Whack is licensed to carry.

This appears to be the first time Whack has spoken on the issue. She has, however, commented on a bevy of artists recently, most notably her favorite, “light skin” Eminem. “Eminem still the best rapper ever whether you can relate to him or not!” she tweeted on in January. Tierra’s followers jokingly responded to the serial troller, reminding her it was Martin Luther King Jr. Day among other things. Another responded with more encouraging words, tweeting that she’s a better rapper than he is.
