Yung Miami Thought She’d Faint From Grueling Workout

While artists in the rap game focus on a lot of extracurriculars, staying in shape is nothing to overlook. Yung Miami just proved as such after posting to Instagram that she went through a grueling workout that almost made her faint. Moreover, she was so impressed and proud of herself for her chops that she spoke to Gram fans on Friday (February 25) to share her accomplishment. Even though she said that the session left her with her legs shaking, she still flexed her resilience. Of course, it’s not surprising from the multi-hyphenate artist, whose hustle propelled her career to new heights.

“I won today at the gym,” the Caresha Please host said in between heaving breaths on her IG Story. “I defeated the gym. Like, I won but today was so fucking hard. Like, I’m drenched. I thought that I was gonna faint, pass out because the pain. My legs was so weak and shaking. When I say I’m sweating! Like, today I put my mind to it and I won.” Still, she didn’t mention whether it had been a while since her last workout session. Regardless, it wouldn’t be surprising, as Miami has been quite busy as of late.

Yung Miami Goes Through A Workout For The Books

For example, she recently spoke about meeting her flame Diddy’s family in a red carpet interview with The Shade Room. When she met the industry titan’s family on vacation, she spoke on how comfortable she felt during her stay. “It just felt like family,” the 29-year-old remarked. “Mama Combs, I love her, she treat me like I’m her own. The twins, I love the twins, they City Girls, they so cool. I love the Combs family.”

Meanwhile, their public and ambiguously casual relationship wasn’t necessarily contingent on that encounter. Earlier in that Shade Room interview, the “Act Up” MC said not getting along with a partner’s family isn’t a dealbreaker. In another interview in December, she also clarified the fact that many see the relationship as one-sided on Diddy’s behalf. “People think that I’m like a side chick and he just do whatever he want and I’m just head over heels. No it go both ways. Ain’t nothing one sided over here.” Regardless of your take, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Yung Miami.

Kanye West Reaches Agreement With Adidas To Sell Remaining Yeezy Sneaker Inventory

Kanye West and Adidas have finally reached a settlement to sell the rest of the remaining $500 million in Yeezy sneaker inventory. The footwear giant terminated its partnership with West this past October following his anti-Semitic comments and the several antics that followed — including sitting down with InfoWars host Alex Jones to chat about his admiration for Hitler and Nazism.

According to reports, Adidas and the controversial rapper will sell the remaining sneaker inventory this year. The new contract will focus solely on selling the rapper’s existing merchandise and will not include any new designs or apparel from his clothing line.

The settlement comes off the heels of Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden revealing that the athletic brand was expected to take a nearly $1 billion hit since terminating their partnership.

“The numbers speak for themselves. We are currently not performing the way we should,” Gulden said before mentioning that 2023 would be a “year of transition” for the company.

He continued, “We will put full focus on the consumer, our athletes, our retail partners, and our Adidas employees. Together, we will work on creating brand heat, improve our product engine, better serve our distribution. and assure that Adidas is a great and fun place to work. Adidas has all the ingredients to be successful: A great brand, great people, fantastic partners, and a global infrastructure second to none.”

Latto Reflects On Beef With Nicki Minaj

Latto recently reflected on her Twitter beef with Nicki Minaj in a new interview with Billboard. Of course, their social media spat surprised many, especially considering that Latto said she’s been a fan of Nicki since childhood. However, things got murky when the Grammys put “Super Freaky Girl” by Nicki in Pop categories, and kept Latto in Rap. While the initial debate led to back-and-forth insults and posting private conversations, tensions have since died down a bit. With that time and space for healing in mind, the 777 artist spoke to Billboard about how she feels about it now.

“It’s difficult navigating through situations like that because there’s a disconnect. I will look at myself as a fan of someone and they will view [me] in a whole different light,” she remarked. “It’s disappointing. You just got to take it to the chin and keep pushing.” Previously, her messages aimed at Nicki took a harsher tone. “With all this being said this wasn’t JUST about a Grammy category,” she tweeted. “[You] being funny bringing me up to defend [your] case knowing our last convo didn’t end on good terms. [You] literally told me I’m not ‘flourishing’ and no one cares about my ‘little song’ [on the phone] lol @NICKIMINAJ.”

Latto Is Moving On From Nicki Minaj Beef

Furthermore, Nicki’s side of the story registered with more conciliatory undertones for many. “I have no prob being moved out the RAP category as long as we r ALL being treated FAIRLY,” Minaj tweeted. “If SFG (Super Freaky Girl) has 2B moved out RAP then so does Big Energy! ANY1 who says diff is simply a Nicki hater or a troll.” However, it’s not like the “Do We Have A Problem?” MC took no shots at all. As later tweets showed, it seems like Latto reaching out to her personally struck a nerve.

“This Karen has probably mentioned my name in over 100 interviews,” Nicki tweeted. “Says she waited in line for Pink Friday w|her Barbie chain on, bangs, pink hair…but today, scratch off decides to be silent; rather than speak up for the black woman she called her biggest inspiration.” Regardless of your take, come back to HNHH for the latest on Latto and Nicki Minaj.

Dwyane Wade’s Daughter Zaya Granted Legal Name & Gender Change

Zaya Wade, the transgender daughter of Dwyane Wade, was just granted a legal name and gender change, according to TMZ. Moreover, on Friday (February 25), they reported that a Los Angeles county judge approved the 15-year-old’s legal identity. Furthermore, this comes after her “proud” father Dwyane petitioned the court, which he first did in August of 2022. Now, in legal terms after coming out as trans in 2020, Zaya Malachi Airamis Wade is a female. While it might anger the most bigoted or close-minded of individuals, this is an important step in Zaya affirming her identity and being recognized as she wishes in the legal sense.

Dwyane had Zaya with ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches back in 2007. While Zaya’s become an outspoken voice for trans rights and gender education, her parents had differing approaches to her identity. Moreover, the couple divorced in 2010 after eight years of marriage. The retired NBA star advocated for Zaya’s right to “live more comfortably and honestly in all aspects of her life.” However, Funches accused him of pressuring their daughter’s transition “in order to capitalize on financial opportunities.”

Still, the 41-year-old former basketball player called such claims “nonsensical” in a November 2022 filing. “While it certainly would have been preferable for Zaya’s mother to be supportive of this important part of Zaya’s journey, Zaya should not be forced to put her life on hold while she waits for Siohvaughn to acknowledge and accept her truth,” he stated. Also, he said that his daughter’s legal transition is in her “best interest. From simple introductions and food orders, to applying for a driver’s license and filling out college applications.”

Meanwhile, Funches- who used her daughter’s dead name “Zion”- said she wanted Zaya to wait until age 18 to transition. Afterwards, Wade once again expressed issue with this mentality. “I’m very disappointed that [Funches] continuously finds ways of centering herself and HER needs, without regard to her children,” he wrote on social media. Regardless of your take, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest on Dwyane and Zaya Wade.

The Kid LAROI Drops Another Track With “I Guess It’s Love?”

Australian hit-maker The Kid LAROI has just released his fourth single of the year with “I Guess It’s Love?” With his debut studio album underway, LAROI has garnered extra hype from his latest releases, “I Can’t Go Back To The Way It Was,” “Kids Are Growing Up” and “Love Again.” The latter of the three has even charted on Billboard‘s Hot 100 since its drop on January 27th. Now back with a new single to tease fans even more, the 19-year-old has shown his innate ability to produce wide-reaching tracks.

In light of The First Time, which will be LAROI’s first LP, the singer sat down with Billboard to dish on his success over the recent years. LAROI, who first signed with Columbia Records when he was 15, described how “you don’t know anything” at that age. His first and most recent project, F**k Love, dropped right before his 16th birthday. Despite reaching Billboard‘s Top 200, LAROI reflects how he no longer resonates with the album’s messaging anymore. “I think it was an immature statement to make,” he said when reflecting on the album title, “I think it was like a heat of the moment statement.”

The Kid LAROI’s “I Guess It’s Love?” Questions A New Romance

Accordingly, “I Guess It’s Love?” proudly shows LAROI’s acceptance of falling for another person. Throughout the song, he digs deep into his emotions to realize how powerful love can be. Be sure to check out the catchy track in the official audio video above.

As for The First Time, the album is set to release sometime this year. LAROI admits that the project has consumed two years of his creative thoughts, proving that “it’s just been a slow process.” Based on his recent hits, however, it’s likely that the final product will be well worth the wait. Quotable Lyrics:

At first you wouldn’t take me home, was you embarrassed of me?
Your parents said we wouldn’t last, they were scared to love me
But if they only knew my past, they’d be scared-er of me
And all these other bitches mad ’cause they know you got me
And I know you love it, you know they love me

[WATCH] Chance The Rapper Honors Black Revolutionaries In Powerful Black History Month Tribute

Screen Shot 2023 02 25 at 12.13.31 PM

Chance The Rapper just released an alternate video for his single “YAH Know” as a celebration of Black revolutionaries who have been trailblazers in history.

The new video opens with a message that reads: “This Black History Month we want to celebrate some of the most important progress we have made as a People. This video highlights some revolutionaries and their revolutions.”

Chance’s project places the spotlight on prominent figures in Black history such as Sarah Elizabeth Ray, Kwame Nkrumah and Nandi Azikiwe alongside Marcus Garvey, Fred Hampton and Mohandas Ghandi.

The video also offers fans the opportunity to unearth even more historical context by incorporating multiple clips from the PBS miniseries History of the Negro People: The New Mood, which first aired in 1965; the 1967 documentary Black Liberation; and The Warren Years: The Great Decisions, a film which examines the 1960s Supreme Court rulings brought on by the Civil Rights Movement.
The video also includes scenes from the Black Star Line Festival, which Chance The Rapper organized with Vic Mensa.
The two Chicago natives announced the Black Star Line Festival in July 2022, explaining that the event’s name was a tribute to pan-African activist Marcus Garvey’s shipping company.

“Founded in 1919, and operated by Black people, the [Black Star Line] would link America, the Caribbean and Africa, to global shipping and tourism opportunities,” a press release for the festival explained. “The Black Star Line was a symbol of pride, not only for Africans, but also for Black people in all ports of call. After nearly 40 years, the Ghanian government launched their fleet with the same name, in homage to Garvey, and even added a black star to the country’s new flag.”

In addition to the concert at Black Star Square on Friday night, the Black Star Line Festival included a week’s worth of special events and panels, including a fireside chat between Chance The Rapper and Dave Chappelle, who discussed bringing new attention and business to local comedy clubs and his dream of one day living in Ghana, inspired by a conversation with JAY-Z.

Rihanna Gifted An Faux Fur Coat By PETA After Being Spotted Rocking A Real Fur

PETA has decided to help Rihanna add to her closet after being spotted rocking a full-length genuine fur coat. The animal rights organization contacted the Fenty Beauty founder to offer her a “cruelty-free “alternative. PETA not only gifted the Barbadian-bred mogul with her very own faux-fur coat from Unreal fur but also an important message. In a letter obtained by TMZ, PETA’s senior vice president Lisa Lange pled to Rihanna, especially as a new mother, writing, “…You know what it’s like to feel protective and to want to make sure no harm comes to your family.”

She continued, “Please understand that this desire — this instinct even — is shared by the minks, foxes, and rabbits who are torn away from their families and killed for their fur.”

The organization has offered to take any of Rihanna’s fur clothes off her hands and donate them to survivors of the recent earthquakes in Syria and Turkey, according to the letter.

PETA then asks Rihanna, “Won’t you please help create a kinder world for your children to grow up in by deciding today that you’ll no longer wear fur?”

Rihanna and her team have yet to make a statement about the recent news, but it’ll be interesting to see if she makes the switch. The fashionista won a PETA award in 2020 for a limited edition faux fur capsule wardrobe for her FENTY fashion brand, so maybe there’s hope.
