Giannis Antetokounmpo Fails At Roasting KD, LeBron, & Nikola Jokic: Watch

Giannis Antetokounmpo is known around the NBA for being one of the nicest guys out there. Overall, many see him as the best player in the NBA. Even on a bad night, Giannis will give you at least 25 points and then another 10 rebounds on top of that. Furthermore, he brought a championship to Milwaukee, which is pretty legendary. He could have easily gone anywhere to win a title, but instead, he opted to play in a small market and give them everything they ever dreamed of.

Additionally, Giannis does all of this while being extremely humble. Despite all the chatter of him being the best in the league, he has no interest in actually claiming this title. Instead, he would rather defer those titles to people like LeBron James and Kevin Durant. Although some believe he is putting on a “fake modesty” act, there is no doubt he is sincere. At the end of the day, he is just a guy living his dream and nothing can take him off of his pedestal.

Giannis Antetokounmpo On “The Daily Show”

Recently, Giannis was on The Daily Show which was hosted by Hasan Minhaj. During the episode, Minhaj, who is a huge NBA fan, tried to get Giannis to diss other players in the NBA. However, Antetokounmpo simply did not have the heart to do it. Instead, he just praised everyone. For instance, he made a joke about Kevin Durant and how he can’t carry his own team. Giannis hated the bit and decided to just praise KD immediately after. The same occurred with LeBron, as he told the Lakers star that he looks up to him. Luckily, we got some jokes for Nikola Jokic as Giannis said “Joker, how are going to make it through the Finals when you look like you could barely make it through a Burger King drive-through?”

For the foreseeable future, it appears as though Giannis will not be offering up any disses to his peers. Overall, he is too nice of a guy for that kind of thing. For now, he is just focused on winning a second title with the Bucks. If he makes it happen, he will certainly become one of the greatest players ever.

Are Ice Spice & Pete Davidson Dating? Twitter Thinks So

Ice Spice is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after women in the music industry right now. The moment she dropped “Munch,” she became the new IT girl who immediately became linked to different celebrity men. Fans believed that she and Drake were romantically linked after he flew her out to Toronto to OVO Fest. And then, Drake unfollowed her, leading many to feel as though it was due to a failed romance. However, Ice Spice denied that she and Drake were together.

Most recently, Ice Spice and Lil Tjay fueled dating rumors. Last year, they were spotted together on numerous occasions before dropping “Gangsta Boo.” Though their chemistry thrived on wax, it was Tjay’s gift to the “Bikini Bottom” artist that led fans to believe that they could be a couple. Tjay copped a Richard Mille watch for Spice as a Valentine’s Day Gift, though both parties denied that they are a couple. Tjay said that he wanted to gift Ice Spice the watch to celebrate their collaboration hitting the Billboard Hot 100.

Ice Spice & Pete Davidson

The latest dating rumors surrounding the Bronx Baddie and the King Of Staten Island left many confused. Ice Spice and Pete Davidson began trending on Twitter this morning after a rumor began to spread that they are dating. Per Newsweek, the rumor actually began from meme page @itsfinisher – which explicitly states that they post “fake news” – that shared a photo of the two side-by-side on Feb. 18th with the caption reading, “Pete Davidson is now dating NYC rapper Ice Spice.”

Though Ice Spice kept her love life lowkey, Pete Davidson has been romantically linked to several women since his split from Kim Kardashian. In late 2022, he and Emily Ratajkowski reportedly began dating. They’ve since broken up and the comedian has been connected to his Bodies, Bodies, Bodies co-star Chase Sui Wonders since the beginning of the year. Regardless of his current relationship status, Twitter had a field day with the rumors surrounding Davidson and Ice Spice. Check out a few of the best reactions below and sound off in the comments.

Drake Re-Follows Ice Spice On Instagram

Drake has re-followed Bronx rapper Ice Spice on Instagram, as caught by The Shade Room. Drake unfollowed the up-and-coming rapper in September after inviting her to OVO Fest, earlier that year. He also seemed to be dissing her on the Her Loss track “BackOutsideBoyz.” He rapped, “She a ten tryna rap, it’s good on mute, yeah.” Although unconfirmed, fans assumed the lyric was a reference to Spice. She responded to the controversy on Twitter at the time by joking, “at least ima 10.”

When Drake originally unfollowed Ice Spice, she admitted that she took note, although Spice added that it’s still “all love” between them. “He did [unfollow],” she said on BET’s Rap City 22. “I don’t know why though.”

Spice also recalled the first time that Drake messaged her on social media. “So, when he first hit me up, I had just landed in LAX for my Munch Open Mic, right?” she told host DJ Blue Diamond. “And, he was like, ‘Yo, ‘Munch’ is hard. You’re On the Radar freestyle was hard.’ And, I was like, ‘Damn, like, can I post this with the release date? And, he was like, ‘Yeah, yeah. Thanks for asking. Matter of fact, you should come to OVO Fest.’”

As for how her time at OVO Fest ended up going, she discussed the trip with RapCaviar in an interview afterward. “He’s mad nice and respectful,” Spice said of Drake. “We went to OVO Fest. It was exciting because it was like his first time performing in Toronto, I think in like a couple of years. So it was just a movie, everybody was excited. The energy was high. Nicki [Minaj] performed, it was lit. [Lil] Wayne did his thing. That shit was crazy.”

On the music front, Spice and PinkPantheress’ “Boy’s a Liar, Pt. 2” moved up to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week. The ranking is the highest of both artists’ careers. It was also the week’s most-streamed song.

LaMelo Ball Hit With Horrible Injury News

LaMelo Ball is easily one of the most fun young players in the entire NBA. Overall, he is someone who plays the game with a lot of jump in his step. Additionally, he is one of those guys who is always doing a great job when it comes to highlight reel plays. His passes are off-the-charts impressive, and there is no doubt that he will be someone to watch for a very long time. If the Hornets were to start surrounding him with other stars, then that team would most definitely launch themselves into the postseason.

Unfortunately, LaMelo has been a bit injury prone over the last few years. He has gone down with a few ankle injuries and they have kept him out of the lineup for some time. Consequently, the Hornets have sunken to the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings. At this point, they are one of those teams hoping to get Victor Wembanyama. Last night, Melo got injured yet again, this time while playing the Detroit Pistons. Although his team won, Melo had to leave the game early with a non-contact ankle injury.

LaMelo Ball Goes Down

When the game was over, Shams Charania of The Athletic took to Twitter and reported that Melo had suffered a right ankle fracture. Simply put, the point guard is now done for the season. There are only about 20 games left in the season, with a month of action to go. Having said that, it seems like the best course of action would be to shut LaMelo down and allow him to come back next year. It’s not ideal, but the Hornets really have no choice right now.

Hopefully, LaMelo is able to come back stronger than ever. He is the face of the Hornets, and their hopes are riding on his shoulders. However, Michael Jordan should probably think about giving his young point guard some help. It would go a long way in making sure that Ball isn’t left having to carry a team. All while putting tremendous strain on his body. Stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest updates from around the sports world.

LeBron James Gets Awful Injury Update

LeBron James is the heart of the Los Angeles Lakers right now. Overall, the Lakers are a team that is desperately trying to get themselves into the NBA playoffs. However, they are struggling to get any of that done. While they are just a few games back from a postseason birth, they still have to worry about the performance of other teams. Their struggles early in the season have put them in a precarious position, and although the roster is improved, there is no guarantee they can things done in the clutch.

Moreover, on Sunday night, they got a huge scare as it pertains to the health of LeBron. During the game against the Mavericks, James went down with what appeared to be a right ankle injury. In fact, James could be heard saying “I heard it pop” while on the ground. Overall, it was a very scary moment that fans were very worried about. However, James went right back into the game and finished it out. Now, James has received an official diagnosis, and it is not looking good for the Lakers, whatsoever.

LeBron Update

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, it is very likely that LeBron will now have to miss a few weeks with this injury. While he will not need any sort of surgery, it is clear that he is out for an indefinite period. This is the worst thing that could have happened to the Lakers as they need all hands on deck for this playoff push. Although, with Anthony Davis and a young crop of hungry players, perhaps the Lakers could actually turn heads and surprise some people. Either way, this is definitely disappointing news for everyone involved.

Over the past two years, James has had an increase in injury-related issues. This makes sense when you consider how he is now 38 years old. Although we are used to Iron Man LeBron, it is clear that he is no longer that player. It is a sad reality, albeit one that we had to expect after a while. Stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest updates on this developing story.

How The Source Awards Started A Trend In Hip Hop

How The Source Awards Started A Trend In Hip Hop

Back in 1995, it wasn’t the Grammys, The Oscars or The Billboard Awards that the culture wanted to attend—everyone wanted a ticket to the coveted Source Awards. The newly established event started a trend of realizing we can reward, honor and OWN the rewards of our talents. We can also dedicate a show to our own genre of music without having to settle for less.

The Source Awards, also known as the Hip-Hop Awards, was an annual awards show that honored the best in hip-hop music and culture. The 1995 Source Awards featured several iconic moments that have become part of hip-hop history.

One of the most iconic moments at the 1995 Source Awards was the feud between Death Row Records and Bad Boy Records. Death Row Records, led by CEO Suge Knight and artists Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, were based in Los Angeles and had been dominant in the West Coast hip-hop scene. Bad Boy Records, led by CEO Sean “P. Diddy” Combs and artists The Notorious B.I.G. and Craig Mack, was based in New York City and had been making waves in the East Coast hip-hop scene.

When Death Row Records won the award for Best Label of the Year, Suge Knight used his acceptance speech to take shots at Bad Boy Records, saying “Any artist out there that want to be an artist and stay a star, and don’t have to worry about the executive producer trying to be all in the videos, all on the records, dancing…come to Death Row!” The tension in the room between the two labels was thick, and the feud would continue to play out in the media and in hip-hop music for years to come. Tragically the beef ended in the slaying of The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur.

Another iconic moment at the 1995 Source Awards was the performance by Outkast. The duo, made up of Andre 3000 and Big Boi, had burst onto the scene with their debut album “Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik” the previous year. At the Source Awards, they performed their hit song “Player’s Ball” and brought the house down with their high-energy performance and unique Southern style. The performance helped stamp Outkast as one of the most exciting and innovative acts in hip-hop at the time.

Despite the drama, the 1995 Source Awards helped to solidify hip-hop as a cultural force. The event was covered extensively in the media, and it brought the genre to a wider audience. The Source Magazine’s commitment to honoring hip hop artists and giving artists a platform to showcase their talent was a significant step in the mainstream acceptance of the genre.

The 1995 Source Awards was a landmark event in hip-hop history, featuring several iconic moments that have become part of the culture. From the feud between Death Row Records and Bad Boy Records, to the electrifying performances by Outkast, and Tupac Shakur, The Source Awards of 1995 will always be remembered as a pivotal moment in the evolution of hip-hop.

Who remembers waiting for that Thelma & Louise album from rappers Lil Kim and Foxy Brown back in 1996?

While the album was one of the most anticipated albums of that year, it would never see the light of day after the two Brooklyn femcees dissolved their personal and work relationships. Before any beef ruined the project, Kim and Foxy were just two beautiful chicks from the hood repping their crews and grabbing the baton from Queen Latifah, Mc Lyte, and more.

The two decided to cause a frenzy and appeared together on The Source Magazine’s iconic cover, which appeared in the February 1997 issue. It was a groundbreaking moment in hip-hop culture featuring the two girls in colorful wigs, seductive outfits, and heavy makeup.

At the time, female rappers achieving commercial success was still a relatively new phenomenon in the industry. There was a lot of criticism about their place in hip-hop culture. Many critics argued that female rappers were cashing in on a trend and didn’t have the same level of lyrical skill or street credibility as their male counterparts.

The Lil’ Kim and Foxy Brown cover was a direct response to those criticisms, as well as a celebration of the power and influence of female rappers. By appearing together on the cover, Lil’ Kim and Foxy Brown was saying they were not to be underestimated or dismissed. They were talented, confident, and proud to embrace their sexuality.

The Source also proved they were committed to giving female rappers a platform and a voice in the industry.

The Lil’ Kim and Foxy Brown cover was a decisive moment in hip-hop a culture that helped to break down barriers and pave the way for more diverse representation in the industry. It remains an iconic image that continues to inspire and empower female rappers and hip-hop fans around the world.

Carter G. Woodson Began Negro History Week, Later Known As Black History Month 97 Years Ago

Screen Shot 2023 02 28 at 7.00.10 AM

Today, we will come to the end of what would be the 47th year of celebrating Black History Month. The historical celebration began in 1924 after Dr.Carter G. Woodson believed that African Americans were not being taught enough about the history and accomplishments of their ancestors.

Woodson turned to his fraternity, Omega Psi Phi, to help him get the message of ‘Negro History Week’ out, spreading negro history and literature for a week in February of 1924. Out of all months in a year, Woodson chose February because of the birthdays of both Fredrick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln.

Schools and organizations across the nation took in Woodson’s initiative. However, Woodson had a hard time finding course materials and building a curriculum. This led Woodson to believe that a week of celebration was simply not enough to cut down the achievements of ancestors into. In the early 1940s, Woodson begins to make efforts to expand Negro History Week.

On April 3rd, 1950 Dr. Carter G. Woodson, died of a heart attack. With Black history still being prominent in the community, and civil rights and The Black Panthers coming to light in the 1960s, more people began to agree with the notion that Negro History Week should be expanded. On the 50th anniversary of the celebrated week, the Association for the Study of African American History would officially shift the week of celebration, to a month, giving February as we know today, Black History Month.

Maino Reveals That The Video Of Him Choking A YouTuber Was Staged

Lip Service Maino talks hitting rock bottom his role playing fantasies dating successful women.. 3 22 screenshot

Yesterday, a video of Maino choking a YouTuber after being asked if he could wear his chain went viral. In the video, YouTuber Buba100x asks Maino if he can wear his chain, before turning hostile and asking Maino if he could beat him up. And already frustrated Maino proceeds to choke Buba before the clip stops.

In a new interview on Way Up With Angela Yee, Maino revealed that the video was staged.

“It was all part of the prank. It was fake,” Maino explained. “I wanted to make it look real.” Yee then complimented Maino for being a “good actor,” to which he replied, “Yes. I’m great at it.”

However, not everybody believed that the video was staged. One person commented that he probably paid the YouTuber not to sue, while another person brought up a situation years ago where Maino choked a reporter.

Another video shows Maino still with his hands on Buba100x while the YouTuber is pinned on a table. Maino is telling Buba to stop playing with him. Either Maino was right and he is that great of an actor or it wasn’t staged at all.
