Kate Bush And Harry Styles Top Spotify’s Most-Streamed Songs Of The Summer Lists
Every year, music fans crave the knowledge: What is the “song of the summer?” A lot of discussions about that sort of thing tend to be based on opinion, but now Spotify has some hard data to add to the conversation.
The methodology was simple: Check what songs got the most streams on Spotify from May 29 to August 29. That has been done, and if you’re looking at just the United States, Kate Bush’s Stranger Things-boosted hit “Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)” is No. 1, with Harry Styles’ “As It Was” behind at No. 2. If you check the global list, though, those positions are swapped, with Styles on top and Bush earning silver.
Perhaps the most dominant artist of both lists, though, is Bad Bunny: He has seven songs in the top 20 on the global list and six on the US rank. Besides Styles, Bush, and Bad Bunny, the only artist to make the top 10 of both lists is Joji with “Glimpse Of Us” (No. 5 globally, No. 4 in the US).
Check out the full lists below.

Dolly Parton Says Working With Doja Cat On Their Taco Bell Musical Was ‘Almost As Good As Mexican Pizza’
We’ve long known that Taco Bell is making a musical about the recently returned fan-favorite menu item, Mexican Pizza, with Dolly Parton and Doja Cat. It’s all very extremely silly but it’s also not a joke; Mexican Pizza: The Musical will premiere on TikTok(!) on September 15, depicting the “‘harrowing’ story of those who fought to bring back the Mexican Pizza.” Now, we know a little bit more about the upcoming — play? Ad? Short film? Music video? Elaborate troll? — courtesy of Consequence and Dolly Parton herself, who offered a statement on working with Doja Cat and Taco Bell.
@tacobell #MexicanPizzaTheMusical is really happening! Tune in LIVE on TikTok 5/26.
“What a fun time and what a fun idea to be part of the Mexican Pizza musical,” she said. “It was a joy working with Doja Cat, [the musical’s writers] [Abigail] Barlow and [Emily] Bear, and Victor [Kunda, a TikToker who apparently helped choreograph the musical]. Very cool. I would say it was ALMOST as good as a Mexican Pizza!”
Initially billed for a May premiere, the project was pushed back to September and an entire third act was added. The premiere will coincide with the return of the Mexican pizza to Taco Bell menus — which Doja Cat began pushing for in 2021 and finally accomplished earlier this year — and will be a Postmates/Uber Eats exclusive until September 21. Customers who make a minimum $20 order on those apps can get a free pizza, and that deal will extend to Grubhub from the 23rd to the 25th. Mexican Pizza: The Musical will premiere on Taco Bell’s TikTok on 9/15 at 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT.

Jay-Z Responds To Billionaire Criticism: “They Start Inventing Words Like ‘Capitalist'”
Jay-Z accomplished some extraordinary feats in his career. He summed up a good majority of it last Friday with the release of DJ Khaled’s God Did. The nearly 4-minute long verse finds Jay reflecting on his come-up from the streets to becoming hip-hop’s first billionaire, and producing two others (three, if you count LeBron).

Unfortunately, not everyone finds Jay’s wealth impressive. The rapper frequently finds himself facing backlash for accumulating an absurd amount of wealth throughout his career with the criticism of being a capitalist often at the forefront of the dialogue.
As Hov’s continued to do press for Khaled’s album, he appeared on Twitter Spaces last night with the Miami DJ and other individuals where he discussed the verse, among other things. At one point, he redirected his attention to the online chatter about his wealth, slamming the terms “eat the rich” and “capitalist.”
“Before it was the American dream. Pull yourself by the bootstraps and you can make it in America. All these that America told us our whole life and then when we start gettin’ it, they try to lock us out it. They start inventing words like ‘capitalist’ and you know, things like that. I mean, We’ve been called n***** and monkeys and shit,” he explained. “Those words y’all come up with, you gotta come up with stronger words.”
Jay reiterated that he won’t be “tricked out of this position” or locked out from any opportunities that previously weren’t available to Black Americans. “We went our alternative route, we made this music, we did our thing. You know, we hustled, we fucking killed ourselves to get to this space and now, it’s like, eat the rich. Man, we’re not stopping,” he continued. “We came from selling seven records and selling records out of our trunk. No radioplay.”
Jay went on to explain that he’s grown from living in his grandmother’s house with his entire family when he was a child to now, being one of the richest men in America.
Jay’s explanation draws different reactions from the public. Check out a few below.

Heat Show Off Iconic Classic Jersey For 35th Anniversary
One of the best teams in the league when it comes to uniforms is none other than the Miami Heat. Over the last few seasons, they have provided fans with some of the best outfits in the NBA thanks to their embrace of the “Vice City” aesthetic. Vibrant blues and pinks have graced their city edition jerseys, and there is no doubt that these uniforms have been among the most popular to ever grace an NBA court.
Now, the Heat are taking it back to 1988 as the team celebrates its 35th anniversary of existence. 1988 was their inaugural year, and to commemorate that, the team has come through with a classic edition jersey that is an exact replica of the franchise’s first-ever home jersey.
The jersey itself is pretty simple as “HEAT” is written across the front in bold red lettering. The jersey is predominantly white with these big red accents, while some orange also presents itself. This makes for a dope jersey that fully embodies the “Heat” look that the team was going for back in the day.
Classic jerseys always play well to the crowd, and we’re sure fans will be lining up to cop these once they finally become available.
Let us know what you think of this shoe, in the comments down below.
